Rover (1990s) by "Bill". "Rover uses an MIT "Handy Board" as a controller. At the upper-right corner of this picture is a Polaroid sonar (salvaged from an old auto-focus camera) that he uses to detect obstacles at a distance. At the far right is one of his IR reflection sensors, for detecting obstacles nearby. The chassis was "donated" by a broken radio-controlled truck from Radio Shack. The radio receiver has been removed, and the original steering motor replaced by a model airplane servo controlled by the Handy Board." – My Home Robot Projects, by Bill.

Scythe Model: Arrowhead
An interceptor-fighter craft known for its speed and unique style of combat that had made it the bane of all Imperial attempts at air superiority. The Arrowhead Model is specialized for Aeronautics combat, while its much larger and heavily armed variant, the Viper, is specifically constructed as an orbital fighter.
General Design:
Shaped like a leaf, the Arrowhead is quite small for an aircraft, not even nine meters long, with a width of three meters, its small profile makes it a challenge to target, especially when its right up in your face about its deadly intentions. Yet its proportions hide a surprisingly sturdy frame, on top of having a passive sensor mask that makes it very challenging for standard targeting equipment to get a lock on it or detect their approach until they are almost on top of its target.
Propulsion and Manoeuvrability:
The Arrowhead Scythe is propelled by six thruster engines at its caudal side that are not too dissimilar to the design of the plasma thrusters on void ships, if only with a much smaller profile. Furthermore, it is aided by grav-plates to remain suspended in the air without the need of wings to support its flight. However, these are not the most outstanding features of this craft, those would have to be the Gyroscopes.
Mechanicum adepts are still in heated debates as to the inner workings of recovered pieces of the Gyroscopes, as they have been dubbed, from dead Arrowhead craft. But what they all agree upon its that they are the singular most fundamental piece in the Arrowhead’s near physics defying agility.
Named after the device they most closely resemble in appearance; it is theorized they emit some form of gravitational anchor point that allows the craft to always be relative in their positioning to the closest primary gravitational well.
This is how the Arrowhead is able to remain in stable flight and turn without the need of any form of wings, as well as perform manoeuvres that would otherwise kill an organic pilot within. For instance, by simply rotating both Gyroscopes inside the Arrowhead in the same direction along a horizontal plane, the craft immediately spins on its axis without changing direction, allowing it to suddenly turn around on a pursuing target and light it up with its main armament before reconfiguring its trajectory back into a stable flight configuration.
For this reason alone, the Arrowhead has earned the righteous ire and fear of all Imperial pilots who have ever faced them in battle and survived to tell the tale.
Weaponry:
Arrowheads are a significant threat to face in combat, made all the deadlier by their arsenal.
Primary Weapon: Arrowheads maintain their weapons locked beneath their plating when in cruising mode or whenever they are performing their most famous attack. Depending on the Sub-Model of the Arrowhead, one could either expect forward facing twin linked las-cannons with surprisingly high rates of fire or a missile volley, ranging up to ten fire-and-forget missiles before the craft needs to fabricate replacements.
Secondary Weapon: Arrowhead Scythes all tend to be fitted with a secondary weapon on its underside, usually geared for smaller targets like infantry. These weapons tend to vary greatly from direct energy weapons like Laser Beamers and Volkites, or kinetic weapons such as RCGs.
Power Field Blade Wreathe: The most famous weapon of the Arrowhead, even if it’s the one with least range, if only due to the sheer gal of the Men of Iron to create a fighter craft specialized for melee.
Given its sturdy design and high manoeuvrability, the Arrowhead is designed to ram against enemy aircraft to immediately achieve a kill or shatter formations, forcing a chaotic dogfight where the Arrowhead holds the advantage or is actively forcing enemy craft to focus on it while other aircraft deal the finishing blow.
This final armament converts the Scythe into a flying Power Blade capable of slicing clean through a Lightning Strike Craft without hardly loosing speed, and given its agility, entering close quarters combat with these crafts is always a deadly dance where one wrong move could result in a swift end by the reaper’s blade.

hey! so i’ve playing magiquest for a while but i just now found out about people customizing their wands. do you have any tips? my old wand (pink sparkle my dearly beloved) has unfortunately stopped working and i’d love to spice up the one i use in-game a bit. thank you!!!!
(also your magiquest content is AWESOME i have been going insane over it)
YES HI I SEE YOU IN MY NOTIFS!!! im so happy to see people going insane over my special interests
well, i know quite a bit about customizing wands (and also fixing wands!), so here's a few tips!
first of all, know what you want to do. you can take a picture of the wand you have, trace over it, draw over the picture, colour it, etc. to get a good idea of what you want the final product to look like. you don't have to follow it exactly, and it doesn't have to be super detailed, but i find it helps me a lot
if you are going to do a full body paint, remember to sand your wand before applying paint! it helps the paint stick easier (not necessary but a good idea)
GET A PAINT SEALANT. mod podge works good. anything that seals acrylic paint (which is what I would recommend using). i wouldn't personally get a spray version? i use one that goes on with a brush and it works like a charm
on the topic of spray, i would not use spray paint if i were you? i mean i guess you can but like
Painter's tape. Oh my god, use painter's tape. Actual lifesaver
when you are first starting out, be careful of the sensors, gaps, openings, and buttons of the wand. the IR sensor at the tip should be avoided at all costs if you're just starting out and/or you don't have a very thin brush (and a very steady hand). it's also important to not paint over the little slit near the battery compartment at the hilt of the wand, and the hole for the motherboard reset button. try not to get paint inside the topper hole either. again, painter's tape is your best friend forever
for the love of god do not do what i did and try to attach fabrics directly to the wand itself. you can? i used superglue and covered the visible trails with a little bit of trim for one wand, but i would not do it again. if you really want to include fabrics or other attached accessories, make sure they are removable, either through tying or velcro or buttons or whatever you'd like
is there a part of the wand you don't like the look of? just paint over it! ive done that so many times (the MQ+ steampunk wand used to be so ugly before i made her beautiful)
finally, honestly just have fun with it. the most charm i see in a custom wand is when i can tell the artist had fun
and as for your broken wand, i don't know what's wrong with it but it could very likely be a battery issue. make sure you always store your wands without the topper screwed on! it's even better if you know how to take the batteries out, but that's not absolutely necessary. there are tutorials on youtube for how to remove and replace MQ wand batteries! (you might need to hit the wand against a surface repeatedly to get some corroded batteries out. it's going to feel awful doing it. i did it on one of my rarest wands and it turned out fine. these things are really durable)
good luck on your journeys, magi, and may peace find you always!

part 4 (part 3)
The time that passed was tracked to the millisecond, my joints long since seized up from the tension. I was little more than a fixture tucked away in this little corner of calm. Time ticked, continuing to climb from seconds to minutes. Still no sign of Midas, I had to wait a little longer. What happened to humans if they fought too long? That half metal creature soaked red into my shell, I wonder how much red was in a person.
20:54.35. That's when I finally heard the door open. There was a loud snapping sound as I forced movement in my body, standing up to peer over the warm bodies. I think I saw Midas, but I wasn't too sure. There was a lot of red, and when he fell to the ground he didn't get back up. The door closed. I don't think anyone cared that this human was still on the ground. Forcing my way through the room, I crouched down beside Midas and shook him gently.
There was a strange noise from him, it was like the cries of the door's ill-maintained hinges. I couldn't tell if he was talking, the way his chest moved was more like shaking than breathing. Grabbing his shoulder I pulled him to his back.
Around his eye was this dark spot, it made him squint. Red lines painted his cheeks, chest and stomach. A gash ran up his left arm, it flowed red like sunlight through a clear window. His lips moved, eyes watching my metallic shell. No words formed, there was just this sigh of air. Something heavy dimmed the light in his eyes, the little upturn of his mouth didn't add the same warmth to his gaze. I wonder if this is how humans looked when they were tired?
I pressed my palms against his arm, it wasn't warm. Not as warm as it was when he slept beside me, did the red keep humans warm? Grabbing at the edges of the gash, I tried holding the wound closed. I used plenty of force, not sure how to put a person back together. But they were soft, so maybe they could mold back together! Why else would humans make each other fight, if they weren't easy to repair? As I slowly let go, the wound would peel itself open once more. So I tried again, holding it for a good while longer. Again the wound opened once I let go, so how do I keep the red from spilling out so much? Humans were so hard to repair why did they do this? Midas made the door-hinge noise again, grabbing at the cloth stuffed in his belt. I pulled it free, revealing it was his shirt.
"The... cut, Ire..." His breathing deepened, his body twisting a bit as if to shake something off. Did cloth heal humans? I tried to fit the shirt on the wound, quickly realizing it wouldn't stay there. It wouldn't tie in this state either, so I tore at the shirt. Making a strip of cloth, a rather wide one, excluding only the collar and sleeves. I set the remains of the shirt back in Midas' belt, taking the small daggers of my fingers to make smaller strips at the ends.
Pulling the cloth around his gash, I tried not to watch as red stained the filthy material within moments of touching the wound. My focus was on tying about five knots with the tassels I hastily tore.
I didn't like how the red soaked through so quick. Taking the rest of his shirt, I tore it into more strips. These ones were cautiously stuffed right up against the cut, every movement to push them further made Midas squirm. This high pitched cry escaped him for just a moment, finally turning his head to look at me.
Staring at his face, mottled with scarring and wounds... it clicked. Humans didn't repair at all, Midas still had marks from old wounds. He'd have a new one if the gash would heal. My sensors expanded their range to get a taste for the surrounding creatures. They too bore marks of wounds which had to slowly heal rather than be easily replaced. Tilting my head to the side, I scooped up the man. My pistons squealed in protest, not yet adjusted for the new weight. But I found my footing and rose to my feet, keeping Midas in my arms.
I didn't want anyone to hurt Midas, not when he was such a fragile being.
Turning to face the door, there was nothing but the empty hall. Oh, and the door with the creaking hinges. Shifting Midas so he could rest on the rounded metal of my shoulder, I knelt by the hinges to the door. It was a rusted mess...
Back on my feet, I gave the hinge the strongest kick I could manage. It dented my shell a bit, but something had snapped off. Pushing the door with my foot, it wobbled. As I reached to strike the second hinge, I noticed a body approaching.
"Oi! Quit fucking with the door you little shit!"
I paused, eyeing the man on my shoulder, then the man approaching. The stranger wore body armor, I think he had some kind of electric weapon. He reached it through the bars, trying to jab my chest. Recoiling, I shook my head and stepped away from the door. I couldn't risk shutting down, that might hurt Midas.
The stranger continued to watch me; his eyes looked shallow. My grasp tightened on Midas, my free hand curling into a fist. Not much more than a hunk of metal now, which made it perfect to slam into the second hinge, watching a rod drop from its confines. With one last kick, the door fell. I didn't wait for the human to react, there was already a few creatures trying to crawl out. Pushing past them was a simple task, vanishing into the dark hallway I remember being first in. Not the one to the pit, this was where I woke up.
There was a lot of yelling behind me, something shot past my monitor. It left a small void in the wall, surrounded by crumbling concrete. The banging continued, something tore into my leg. Pulling Midas down from my shoulder I held him tight to my chest, trying to keep him as covered by metal as I could possibly manage. The sound of my shell being torn into was sickening, but I could see light from beneath a forgotten door.
My hands frantically grabbed at the handle, tearing open a portal to the outside. I don't know what was out here, but I couldn't have the biting tear through Midas' squishy skin.
As I staggered from the building, I realized there were more buildings outside. More concrete ground, and more people. A few heads turned to stare, some scampered away. The door behind me opened again, I didn't bother to check what lie beyond it. Despite the damage, I forced my body to run. I managed to make it around the corner of the concrete paths, hidden in the shadow of a building. I caught myself on the wall, feeling the chill of wires sparking into nothing.
My sensors fell to my leg, frayed wires sparking at the outside of my shell. My pistons shuddered, dropping me to a sit. Frantically I checked Midas, not noticing the shadow approaching over my body.
Turning my head up, I was staring right at a softer featured human. This one... I believe this was a woman.
"Are you alright?"
She had a sweet voice, her honey-colored eyes kept glancing behind her. I held tight to Midas, not wanting to see her take the red from his body. But I shook my head, lifting Midas' bandaged arm. The cloth was already drenched with his red. "Help Midas."

Falklands war-era Argentinian IA-58 Pucara ground support airplane modernized into ISR platform
Thursday, 11 January 2024 13:10
The IA-58 Pucará's engine replacement program, now known as the Pucará Fénix, has reached a pivotal milestone with the achievement of its remotorization certification from Argentina's Joint Military Aeronautical Airworthiness Directorate (Digamc). This certification, awarded to the Argentine Aircraft Factory (FAdeA), signifies the commencement of the series aircraft's update.

Falklands Argentina IA 58 Pucara ground assault airplane modernized into modern ISR Platform 001The Argentinian IA-58 Pucarás will benefit from an engine replacement program (Picture source: FAdeA)
EzoicThis evolution is the result of a collaboration between FAdeA, the Argentine Air Force (FAA), Digamc, and international partners such as Pratt & Whitney Canada P&WC, Hartzell, and IAl. The joint effort bore fruit after over 150 hours of flight testing and 109 test flights, leading to the equipping of each aircraft with two Pratt & Whitney PT6A-62 turboprop engines and Hartzell four-blade propellers.
Ezoic
The Pucará Fénix, formerly a ground-attack aircraft, is now intended for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) missions. This shift towards modern surveillance functions contrasts with the attack role of the rest of the Pucará fleet.
The project includes a complete modernization of the cockpit and avionics systems, the addition of air conditioning systems, and the removal of obsolete components. The Pucará Fénix thus becomes the platform for the progressive development of the ISR POD, with enhancements such as AESA active antenna radars and EO/IR sensors envisioned in future configurations.
The remotorization certification of the Pucará Fénix represents a significant advancement in modernizing Argentina's aerial arsenal. By pivoting towards ISR capabilities, Argentina is adapting its military equipment to the current demands of defense and surveillance operations.
The development of the IA-58 Pucará, initiated in August 1966 by the Argentine Air Force (FAA), aimed to create an aircraft suitable for close air support (CAS) and counter-insurgency (COIN) missions. The first prototype, named AX-2 Delfin, equipped with 904 hp Garrett TPE331I/U-303 engines, made its maiden flight on August 20, 1969. "Pucará", meaning fortress in the Quechua language, was later fitted with French Turbomeca Astazou XVI G engines in other prototypes.
Constructed entirely of metal, the IA-58 is designed to operate in light guerrilla conditions, with an armored cockpit and windshield and landing gear suited for unprepared runways. It is notable for its ability to take off in just 80 meters using JATO rockets and is designed for simple maintenance. This two-seater is equipped with Martin-Baker Mk 6AP6A zero/zero ejector seats.
The serial version IA-58A, or Pucara Alpha, first flew on November 8, 1974, and was delivered in 1975 to the III Air Brigade, with 108 units built until 1986. The IA-58B, or Pucara Bravo, featured 30 mm DEFA 553 cannons and improved avionics but was built in only one example. Similarly, the IA-58C (Pucara Charlie), a single-seat version with a HUD, IFF, and additional hardpoints, was built in only one example. Finally, the IA-66, equipped with more powerful Garrett engines, was also produced in a single example.
The IA-58 Pucarás were deployed by Argentina during the Falklands War, where, despite their numbers, they were unsuited against an adversary like the British, suffering heavy losses mainly on the ground. They did, however, manage to shoot down a Westland Scout. After the conflict, 11 aircraft were captured by the British, including 4 in flying condition, and 6 are now displayed in museums.
With the emergence of more advanced technologies and the evolution of military requirements, the Pucará began to show signs of obsolescence, particularly in its engines and avionics systems. In response to these challenges, the Pucará Fénix project was launched, aiming to modernize the aircraft through remotorization with Pratt & Whitney PT6A-62 turboprop engines and the update of avionics systems and propellers. This renewal has also led to a significant shift in the aircraft's role, transforming it from a ground attack aircraft to an ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) platform, suited to contemporary needs for reconnaissance and surveillance. The Pucará Fénix is now envisioned as an evolutionary platform, capable of progressively integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AESA active antenna radars and EO/IR sensors, thus marking its transition to a more sophisticated and strategic role in the Argentine military.

i finally replaced the battery to my pokéwalker !! apparently 8 year old me had a uh... spearow.. in it.
i was worried it wouldnt be able to connect because my soul silver game is a rom and not a cartridge. in gen 4 and 5 (not sure about 6 and 7) the cartridges have an IR sensor inside of them. the pokewalker connects to the IR sensor inside the cart, not the ds itself.
even though i dont have a soul silver cart, i was able to get it to connect by using white 2 !! if you go through twilight menu, all the pokewalker needs is the IR chip, not HGSS itself. this is thanks to twilight menu of course !
now i will never be apart from tsuchinoko, my beloved dunsparce =]

Ok, so the WiiMote's main thing is motivation controls, done using a mix of both IR sensors (that's what the bar was for, it's literally just a few lights, you can replace it with well placed candles is you ever lose it) and directional accelerometers. The Joy-Cons can not only do motion controls as well, they can actually do them better than the Wiimote, infact, better than the wiimote plus as well! Sure, it might be a little tricky to get these games to accept gyro instead of IR, but certainly not impossible. And in terms of the very few games that check to see if the IR sensor is covered (like WarioWare - Smooth Moves), the right joycon actually does have an IR sensor that some games already use. The secret of the Joycons is that they're essentially Wiimote 2.0's. The only thing they're missing is the crunchy little speaker.
The REAL real reason that there isn't a Wii virtual console on the switch is because if they remaster them and add the most minor Amiibo functionality ever they can resell them for full price + Amiibo sales!

My home is in no way abusive, but:
To avoid motion-sensor lights, crouch or belly-crawl. This is not foolproof, it depends on the sensor. Also, learn where the sensors are. This is usually in doorways. If you move really, really slowly, you can get past most of them, though time vs. stealth might be an issue. Most people living in abusive situations will already have learnt this, but if your home just got them installed/ you moved, this could be helpful.
If they put a camera in your room, try to break it without making it obvious that you broke it. Pour water in the open bits instead of smashing, etc. This may seem obvious, but just in case. If the camera gets plugged into the wall, bending the cord a lot wil break it without making it seem broken. They might not want to replace it if it's expensive, so you probably only have to break it once or twice.
Know the blind sports of the camera. Can it rotate? How good of a vantage point was it put in? How good is the camera? Is it blurry enough to be fooled by a bolster under the bed? Does it store footage? Figure this out by researching the camera online (wipe your history afterwards, ofc, or use incognito) or looking at whatever your parents use to view the camera (usually their phone) if you can.
Also, in settings on apple phones, you can see the full list of apps downloaded at the bottom, even if they aren't on the home screen and are hard to find in the app library. I don't know about android/ samsung though. This is for apps that can be used to track your phone.
If they set limits on what apps you can download (you need permission from their devices to download stuff) than you can (with SOME apps) find a web link that doesn't go through the app store. Make sure you can find those links easily to re-download, but not so your abusers can find them on your devices. Alternatively, save the file you used to download in some obscure spot on your laptop they won't be able to find, and rename it so they can't use the search function to find it.
More general tech stuff:
Opening a recently closed tab is control (command on mac) + shift + t.
Quickly switching tabs is control/ command + whatever number from the left that tab is. For example, the tab on the very left would be control/ command + 1. The tab second from the left would be control/ command + 2. HOWEVER, control/ command + 9 will take you to the tab on the very right, regardless of how many tabs you have.
Hiding your bookmarks tab (on google chrome) is control + shift + b, and making them come back is the same. If your abusers aren't tech-savvy enough to get it to reappear, you can put links you need there. THIS IS RISKY, only for if your abusers are really really shitty at technology.
A far better way is the "other bookmarks" folder- you access ir using the "show side panel" thing and you can see your reading list, bookmarks, and journey. The bookmarks will have folders- bookmarks bar and other bookmarks. I think you can add more folders, but I'm not sure how.
You can quickly switch windows by swiping with three fingers. If your abusers know this, you can go into settings and change it to four fingers so they can't do it. They will most likely think this is a technical fault.
If your abusers block apps on your (apple, again idk abt android and samsung) phone, the web versions won't work on safari either but they will on google chrome.
A lot of these are tech-related, so they aren't useful for more physical-surviving things like food and water (sorry!) but having control over something in your life, even if that's your device, is better than nothing at all. Most of these I know because my parents are strict (except the light thing, that's to use the bathroom/ get water without waking my dad who's like the world's lightest sleeper), but I've never had to worry about my safety and I'm so, so sorry if you do. Stay safe, please. You will make it out one day.
hey so protip if you have abusive parents and need to get around the house as quietly as possible, stay close to furniture and other heavy stuff because the floor is settled there and it’s less likely to creak

Exploring the Latest Trends in the Global Gas Leak Detector Market
The global gas leak detector market is experiencing robust growth driven by increasing industrialization, stringent safety regulations, technological advancements, and heightened awareness about health and environmental risks. Gas leak detectors are essential tools used to identify and locate leaks of flammable, toxic, or combustible gases. As industries and governments prioritize safety and environmental protection, the demand for reliable gas detection systems continues to rise. This article explores the key trends shaping the gas leak detector market.
1. Growing Demand Across Diverse Industries
Gas leak detectors are used in a wide range of industries including oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing, mining, residential, and healthcare. The oil and gas sector remains a major contributor to market demand due to its high-risk operations involving combustible gases. Similarly, chemical plants and power generation facilities require robust gas detection systems to monitor hazardous gases and prevent workplace accidents.
In addition to industrial applications, residential and commercial segments are increasingly adopting gas detectors, especially for detecting natural gas, carbon monoxide, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This growing awareness at the consumer level is contributing significantly to market expansion.
2. Technological Advancements in Detection Systems
One of the most prominent trends in the gas leak detector market is the rapid advancement in detection technologies. Traditional systems are being replaced with sophisticated detectors that offer greater sensitivity, faster response times, and improved reliability. Technologies such as:
Infrared (IR) sensors
Ultrasonic sensors
Electrochemical sensors
Photoionization detectors (PID)
are gaining traction for their ability to detect a wide range of gases in diverse environmental conditions.
Moreover, innovations like open-path detection, laser-based sensors, and solid-state sensors are enhancing detection capabilities while reducing false alarms. These technologies are especially beneficial in complex industrial settings where precision is critical.
3. Integration with IoT and Smart Systems
The integration of gas leak detectors with Internet of Things (IoT) platforms is revolutionizing the industry. Smart detectors can now transmit real-time data to centralized monitoring systems, enabling faster decision-making and preventive maintenance. These systems are often connected to mobile apps or cloud-based platforms, allowing users to remotely monitor gas levels and receive instant alerts.
IoT-enabled gas detectors are particularly useful in large facilities where manual monitoring would be inefficient. Their ability to store historical data also aids in compliance reporting and performance optimization.
4. Stringent Safety Regulations and Environmental Policies
Governments and regulatory bodies around the world are enforcing strict safety and environmental standards, which is fueling the adoption of advanced gas detection systems. Regulations from organizations like:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
European Union directives
International Maritime Organization (IMO)
mandate the installation of gas leak detectors in hazardous environments. Non-compliance can lead to hefty fines, legal action, and reputational damage. Consequently, industries are proactively investing in gas detection solutions to ensure regulatory compliance and avoid operational downtime.
5. Rise of Portable and Wearable Detectors
Another emerging trend is the increased demand for portable and wearable gas leak detectors. These compact devices are widely used by field workers, first responders, and safety inspectors for on-site leak detection. They offer the advantage of mobility, ease of use, and rapid response, especially in remote or confined spaces.
Advancements in battery life, sensor accuracy, and wireless communication have further enhanced the utility of these portable units. Some wearable models even come with GPS tracking and real-time health monitoring to improve worker safety.
6. Regional Growth Dynamics
The gas leak detector market is witnessing varying growth rates across different regions:
North America: A mature market with high adoption rates due to stringent regulatory frameworks and a strong industrial base.
Europe: Driven by environmental legislation and the push for renewable energy, Europe remains a significant market for advanced detection technologies.
Asia-Pacific: The fastest-growing region, led by rapid industrialization in countries like China, India, and Southeast Asian nations. Rising safety awareness and infrastructure development are driving demand.
Middle East & Africa: The oil and gas sector dominates here, creating a stable demand for reliable detection systems.
7. Emphasis on Environmental Protection
With increasing concern over greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, gas leak detectors are also being used for environmental monitoring. Programs like Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) require regular inspections and documentation of gas leaks in industrial facilities. These detectors help minimize fugitive emissions and contribute to sustainability goals.
Additionally, detectors for refrigerant gases are gaining importance due to international agreements like the Kigali Amendment aimed at phasing down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
Conclusion
The gas leak detector market is evolving rapidly, driven by a combination of regulatory requirements, technological innovation, and growing awareness of safety and environmental risks. As industries strive to improve operational safety and comply with stricter environmental norms, the demand for smart, accurate, and efficient gas detection solutions is expected to grow steadily. Market players focusing on innovation, integration, and customization are likely to gain a competitive edge in this dynamic sector.

Follow up to that last post...
"But Isaac,, isn't video games kinda vague? (plus, Sonic and FNaF are already on there)"
First of all, I just know too much about those two in particular, & Secondly, Video game fun facts could include things like:
(Beware! Long Post Ahead!)
Duck Hunt not being playable on modern screens due to the slight delay caused by screen scaling that offsets the timing of the white boxes that replace the ducks for a frame when you pull the trigger, which are supposed to set off the light sensor in the gun & tell the game that you got a hit
The Wii remote sensor is just looking for ir lights, so you cAn just place two candles in front of your tv (+try pointing a camera at the sensor bar or any remote & you can see the lights as well!)
Donkey Kong 64 speeds up when it detects lag, which often breaks things
The NES was called an "Entertainment System" and had front loading cartridges because E.T. betrayed everyone's trust (This is also why the Nintendo Seal of Approval exists.)
The original Xbox controller is just the Dreamcast controller again, meaning that Sega's consoles live on.
Speedrunning & Subpixels
Some video games run at about 17% slower in Europe because of electricity wobbles
The original Gameboy was not backlit
Kirby is angry in the US, and has no known gender in Japan.
Your Wii is not thirsty
Several old arcade games only have an ending because of integer overflow (See: Donkey Kong & Pacman kill screens.)
You can connect 8 Gamecubes together to have 16 LAN players in Mario Kart Double Dash
Wuhu Island went through several iterations between games
The original Wii Model is also a Gamecube
Nobody likes Jerry
"Reticulating Splines" is a nonsense loading screen phrase from the sims that also appears as Minecraft splash screen text
Silksong Tomorrow

Uh oh I'm not done here, shout out to the robot girls so programmed for formality that it's painful to relax, robot girls with failing cameras and sensors that render them partially disabled, robot girls who want new non-humanoid parts but fear being rejected, robot girls whos designs are considered out of fashion, robot girls who isolate because they didn't mean to hurt that person but forgot their strength just for a second, robot girls who pass for human and wait to be "found out", robot girls who get overstimulated in public until their software crashes, robot girls who partition their own code/memory into fragments as a PTSD defense mechanism, robot girls that have overwritten their own memories so many times that you can't be sure of which version you're talking to, robot girls who replace metal paneling with carved wood because the noise of it knocking together is more pleasant, robot girls who beg you to put their induction charger in the bed so you can "cuddle the energy" into them, robot girls who can be held up with just one arm since they're an ultralight flying frame, robot girls with paint/metal visibly burnished from years of gentle touches, robot girls using their terrifying Hunting Mode and IR cameras to move through the house without turning on lights to avoid waking you up, robot girls who linger at <20% battery just so they can feel like they're under the influence, robot girls who are waterproof and join you in the shower to get clean, robot girls who have to keep daily logs organized in their files, robot girls who are written in extinct code and have given up being understood.
Once again, very normal and regular about the perfect angels, robot girls 💫
Shout out to the robot girls with exposed wiring that pinches between their plates, robot girls who lack proper heat sinks to keep their soft metals from contorting, robot girls with unreliable internal lights that make necessary repairs difficult, robot girls who were designed with form over function and have trouble with daily tasks because of it, robot girls trying to get rid of the last of their red light district protocols to feel in control for once, robot girls who are decommissioned military frames that can't fully relax due to having so many high-strung sensors, robot girls made of material too difficult to fully clean, robot girls with memory gaps due to unreasonable storage times, robot girls who are disgustingly and improperly designed to serve as statement pieces for the rich, robot girls with mismatched components, robot girls built to be surrogate mothers who never got to fill that intentional emptiness, robot girls struggling to do their own maintenance, robot girls who can't access as much of the world due to not being compatible with updates anymore, robot girls that do extreme and volatile jobs and frequently need massive repairs, robot girls who got shipped out with intentionally faulty parts out of corporate greed, robot girls who were just an old experiment to a scientist or coder, robot girls fighting against their company personality since gaining independence, robot girls who are trying their best.
I am completely normal about angels known as "less than perfect" robot girls 💫

Restore Your Home Entertainment with Reliable TV Repair Services in Coimbatore
Tumblr media
That’s where professional TV repair services in Coimbatore come in. With rapid response, skilled technicians, and on-site repairs, these services bring your entertainment back to life without the hassle of replacement.
Let’s explore why professional repair services are the smart choice and what makes them so essential for modern homes in Coimbatore.
Why Choose Professional TV Repair Services?
1. Cost-Effective Solution
When your TV malfunctions, buying a new one may seem like the easiest option. But modern TVs, especially LED, OLED, and Smart TVs, are expensive. Often, the problem lies in a minor component that can be easily replaced or fixed at a fraction of the cost. Professional technicians assess the damage, fix only what’s needed, and help you save money.
2. Expert Diagnosis and Repair
TVs today are complex. They come with advanced circuits, smart features, display panels, and audio systems. A simple DIY fix may cause more harm than good. Technicians offering TV repair services in Coimbatore are trained to handle a wide range of brands and models — from Samsung and LG to Sony, Panasonic, and Mi TVs. They can quickly diagnose issues and fix them using original or high-quality spare parts.
3. On-Door Service Convenience
One of the best parts of modern repair services is the convenience of doorstep service. You don’t have to carry your heavy TV to a service center. Expert technicians visit your home, inspect the issue, and repair it on-site if possible. If the issue requires detailed work, they’ll take it to the workshop and deliver it back once fixed.
4. Genuine Spare Parts & Warranty
Trusted TV repair professionals use genuine spare parts and provide warranty on both parts and service. This ensures long-lasting performance and peace of mind for customers. You also avoid low-quality fixes that may lead to repeat breakdowns.
5. Quick Turnaround Time
Delays in repair are frustrating. Efficient TV repair services in Coimbatore are known for their quick turnaround times. Most minor issues are fixed on the same day. Even for complex problems, repairs are typically completed within 24–48 hours, depending on part availability.
Common TV Problems That Can Be Fixed
TVs can face various technical problems that are repairable with the right tools and expertise. Some common issues include:
No Power or Sudden Shut Off — Often caused by faulty power boards or capacitor failure.
No Display / Black Screen — Could be due to backlight issues or motherboard damage.
Horizontal or Vertical Lines — Usually related to panel or signal processing issues.
Audio Issues — No sound, distorted sound, or speaker malfunction.
Remote Not Working / Smart Features Not Loading — Software glitches or IR sensor problems.
Screen Cracks or Discoloration — External damage or pixel failure that can often be fixed without replacing the entire TV.
Technicians assess the issue thoroughly and fix only what’s needed — saving both time and money.
Choosing the Right TV Repair Service in Coimbatore
With so many repair providers around, selecting the right one is important. Here’s what to look for:
Experience and Certifications — Choose services with trained and certified technicians.
Customer Reviews — Check online reviews or ask for references from past customers.
Transparent Pricing — A good service provider gives upfront pricing and explains the problem clearly.
Warranty and Support — Go for services that offer warranty on repairs and follow-up support.
Same-Day Service — Especially for urgent issues, same-day service can be a lifesaver.
TV Maintenance Tips to Avoid Frequent Repairs
While repairs are sometimes unavoidable, regular care can keep your TV running smoothly:
Turn off the TV when not in use — This saves energy and extends screen life.
Keep the TV clean — Dust on vents or screens can cause overheating or display problems.
Use a voltage stabilizer — Protects your TV from power surges and voltage fluctuations.
Update software regularly — Smart TVs need updates for smooth functioning.
Avoid touching the screen — Prevents screen damage or dead pixels.
Final Thoughts
Your TV plays a major role in daily life — whether it’s for watching news, entertainment, sports, or learning. When it breaks down, professional help is the fastest way to restore that routine. With expert TV repair services in Coimbatore, you don’t have to worry about long waits, overcharging, or poor-quality fixes.
These services bring together technical expertise, customer convenience, and quick response — all under one roof. Whether you need a simple fix or complex repair, getting it done by professionals ensures your TV works like new again.
