Top 5 fucked up things that happend in Naruto?

This lived in my drafts for quite a while as I went back and forth with just a top five. I don't think this is in any particular order, because good god these people have suffered. Also, please note that I haven't read or watched Boruto and know nothing about it, so whatever atrocities occur there are mysteries to me.

That time Rin committed suicide by jumping into Kakashi's Chidori, then everyone started calling him Friend Killer Kakashi and even he believes he murdered his teammate in cold blood for the good of the village.

When Minato decided to make his minutes-old son the Kyuubi container and then swiftly leave him as an orphan, and Hiruzen thought the best thing to do would be to let the village terrorize him and leave him without the protection of his powerful, beloved parents' legacies.

Nagato going off the deep end after Yahiko got murdered and deciding to use his dead bestie's body as one of his paths, forcing Konan (who may or may not have been romantically linked with Yahiko, but at the very least was another childhood best friend) to interact with his corpse for years to come as Nagato's real body rotted in the basement.

Orochimaru's whole child experimentation/abduction/murder/body snatching extravaganza is just...horrific. He truly is a plague upon the elemental nations, and I believe if Tobirama were Hokage when Orochimaru started to get weird, he would have been put down like a mad dog. Maybe Minato would have tried to do it had he lived long enough, too.

You can't have a list of fucked up Naruto things without mentioning the obvious Uchiha massacre. Village-sanctioned genocide perpetuated by a 13-year-old family member and his insane cousin masquerading as their equally-insane ancestor is some dark shit, and that's not even getting to the other related factors (re: eyeball snatching, the Sasuke of it all, Divine Intervention via moon goddess planting the seeds of it happening at all).

Who's your favorite character (or characters) from the female Naruto cast?

Ahh, I'm not too invested in the female characters because they never got the development they deserved. However, some that I like are.

Tsunade.

She's badass, kind, sweet, and capable of so much empathy. Apart from her powers she's a terrific leader too. For some reasons she doesn't get enough credit for her leadership when she handled the village through an invasion, healing everyone at the cost of her own health, and then a war. She was quite emotional, but when she became the Hokage, she began to see things how a leader should. She never let her feelings come in between.

Her love for Dan is heart-wrenching. Many people ship her with Jiraiya, but she loved the man who admired and respected her and her dreams. She is so fiercely loyal.

Konan, obviously.

I find the stories of all three Amegakure kids sad. Although I'd love for Kishimoto to give her more personality in which she did things because she wanted to, not because men she believed in said were right. Despite this, she is a cool character. Her design, powers, and angst. All of it make her a good character to me.

I wasn't too fond of Karin when she was first introduced. She was crazy a mix of Ino and Sakura who just wanted to get into Sasuke's pants at first. But then later on I began to like her. She has amazing powers, she's selfless, cared about Sasuke beyond flinging him good looking. That changed my opinion on her. She still loves Sasuke, but she doesn't force her feelings on him. The girl deserved so much better.

After Tsunade, she's my favourite. She's human, makes mistakes, and is sweet. She had a crush on Kakashi. But when he rejected her, instead of harassing him, trying to tell him how much she loved him and he must love her back, she accepted his decision. It wouldn't have been easy for her. She didn't force her feelings on him. And when she made into a jinchuriki, she willingly sacrificed herself because she didn't want to be the reason innocent people would die. She's my favourite in Team Minato. I love Kakashi, but he was a little shit as a kid. Rin was the link that connected both Kakashi and Obito. All the scenes of their team in war were kind of bittersweet because of her.

She too deserved so much better. Can't believe Kishimoto, who wrote her, also wrote characters like Hinata and Sakura.

On the next panel he wakes up suddenly on a patch of grass, his hair is dark again. Two people off screen talks: "Oi Obito! Wake up!!" "What a sleepyhead... I can't believe it."

On the second page the first panel is a POV where Obito sees Rin and Kakashi, as well as one of Kakashi's dog. Rin is extending a hand to him. She's wearing a dark turtleneck and a dark coat with a hoodie. She's also wearing a headband with little horns on it and has pointy teeth. She's saying: "Come on Obito! They're waiting for us!" Kakashi has his arms crossed and is also wearing a dark coat with a hoodie, the coat having an akatsuki cloud on it. Obito exclaims: "Rin?? Kakashi??" On the following panel they are walking together to an unknown destination in tall grass. Rin has her arms around Obito's neck, Isobu's three tails are visible behind her. Obito is wearing the same coat as them but around his waist. He has an arm missing. His other hand is being held by Kakashi. Rin says: "Relax Kakashi! They won't be mad!" Obito thinks to himself: "I'm pretty sure I died... Is this the afterlife?? Holy shit" He's slightly blushing at the situation. Kakashi looks a little grumpy: "If we're late I'll say it's because of him. They're still the Amekages they're busy people!" Obito react upon hearing this, thinking: "Wait... The Amekage??"

The first panel of the third page shows Konan, Nagato and Yahiko welcoming them. They're all wearing little capes with swirls on them showing that they're the Amekages, they also wear rings. Yahiko has a salamander over his shoulder. Rin immediately jumps in Konan's arms while yelling her name. She answers: "Happy to see you too, Rin!" Nagato waves at the other two, saying: "Welcome!" Obito recognizes Konan and Nagato and is surprised. Yahiko has a snarky expression and says: "Late again huh" to which Kakashi answers: "Obito wouldn't wake up from his nap yeah. Say Sorry Obito." On the next panel Obito takes a confused and flustered Nagato aside and whispers to him "Oi Nagato, come here for a sec. What's all this? Wtf is going on? Are we dead? Is this Madara's fault?" Nagato looks even more confused, not seeing what he's talking about: "What?? Madara your grandpa? What are you saying?" On the next panel Rin interjects herself between them with a smirk, holding them by the shoulders: "Making a new boyfriend Obito? Kakashi and I aren't enough for you?" Nagato blushes and they both inhale in surprise but she cuts them before they can say anything: "Hehe I'm just teasing! Let's go all eat I'm starved!" She then kiss Obito on the cheek and he freeze blushing thinking: "I don't know where I am… but… This… Is nice…" /.End ID]

Rin and Kushina jinchuriki double attacks: what's better than one amazing jinchuriki? TWO amazing jinchurikis. It'd be cool to see Rin and Kushina controlling their powers and fighting together. Also? Kushina being Rin's shishou is such an interesting concept. Yes, teach your local medic nin some sealing <3

Konan and Karin paper chains inferno: we have two sensors blessed with beauty and power... If they decided to set a trap together, I imagine there won't be much to save from the poor soul who's their target. They can also bond about being fucked over by one of the sannins... You know.

Anko and Ino purple fangs special: capture and torture the enemy, cracked the secrets on their minds and put a stop to their acts. Anko and Ino are both sure of themselves and their abilities, they are not afraid to show off and more than anything, they are every bit as capable as they say they are. The danger of sending them together in a mission...

Chiyo and Tenten army of two: one puppet master and one weapon master together? As long as Tenten is armed to the teeth, Chiyo would have the time of her life controlling a flying arsenal. Let's not forget that Tenten was trained by Gai, so she surely knows how to evade and be fast when she wants to.

Yugao and Shizune poison blades: two elite women of Konoha, specialists in kenjutsu and poison. It wouldn't be exactly nice to have them in your pursuit. It's not every day that an anbu captain and one of Lady Tsunade's appreciates want you dead. Just be careful to notice the senbon ad you try to don't fall for Yugao's katana.

Recently, I just added Rin Nohara as a muse on my naruto blog @musesofchaos, and I knew I had to design her for the verse where she manages to just barely survive her demise. Getting stabbed by your crush, even though it was your own choice, and nearly dying would understandably mess someone up. Despite the smiles and her still kind nature, Rin's view on the world has shifted because of the incident, not to mention the overwhelming guilt she feels for inflicting such pain on Kakashi. She's scared that he hates her, resents her. That's far beyond the truth, but she doesn't know that. So for most of this new arc I'm developing for her, she's keen on staying as far away from Konoha as possible. I wanted to symbolize that change through clothing that one at first may think that Rin wouldn't have gone for. Keeping some of the colour scheme of her old outfit to show that she still has those old parts of herself left. I also admittedly just wanted to go for something different from the other older fan designs I've seen to her, which in my opinion are a little boring? Of course no offense to those artist, but I feel like a lot of people just try to incorporate her genin design into her adult design and I wanted to bring something more unique to the table. Anyway, I hope ya like her! She was a joy to draw : )
