Movie Night
Summary: You and Dabi have a movie night together with cuddles, but you can't get comfortable...
Pairing: Dabi x Fem!reader
Warnings: Smut (without plot), dry humping, dick riding, creampie
Tumblr media
Dabi loves quality time with you
he loves having attention, but especially yours
even if it's just a small text during the day to see how he's doing
or a planned movie night together so that you can marathon your favorite series
even though when you do lay down together he sneaks his hand onto your thigh
and your attention is suddenly not on the movie anymore
and you decide to get a bit closer
so you move his legs up and open and you worm your way in-between them with your back to his chest
and your head is resting on his shoulder now
but now you can't get comfortable
so you keep adjusting yourself
"if you want to keep sitting like that you have to stop wiggling around like that," he says
"why? is it bothering you?"
"no, it's just..."
and this time he moves forward just a bit
and now you can feel his boner poking on your back
so you decide to help him take care of it
"does dabi need some taking care of?"
you turn around and adjust yourself so that you're now sitting on his lap
your clothed pussy right above his cock
"please, doll, please" he begs
you start to move your hips forward and back
the friction is almost immediately already too much and you both start gasping and moaning
"i love -hngh- hearing you moan like that" he praises
"aren't i supposed to be -ohh- taking care of y-you?"
"do you not want the praise?"
"just shut your p-pretty little lips and let me h-help,"
you weren't sure if you were expecting a response back, but you weren't going to get it
his hands were certainly roamers, because they came up from the sheets to meet the peaks of your breasts
he only gave light little squeezes and slight pinches on your perked up nipples
watching them as you rocked back and forth to gain friction on his cock
you paused for a second to take off his pants
now only in boxers, you could see the small stain that the pre-cum leaking from his tip was making
you sat back down again and started moving
he gasps and involuntarily ruts his hips up into yours, causing you to let out a breathy moan
"baby, i can't do this anymore,"
he doesn't wait for a response before he lifts you off of him
and then he quickly takes your clothes off before his
and you're right back where you were, your pussy suspended above his rock-hard erection
except he doesn't bring you down
he lets you have that choice, and you most certainly choose to take it
you take the base of his cock in your hand, and comparatively your hand is tiny
you drag his tip against your lips, letting him feel just how wet you are now
your juices dripping down his cock
"you're so fucking wet for me, doll,"
slowly you start to lower yourself onto his dick
inch by inch passing through that tight muscle
finally your entire pussy is swallowing his thick cock
his head now thrown back, face towards the ceiling
"does that feel good, touya?" your voice sultry with barely kept control
"f-fuck.. so good, baby.."
your arms come up to grip his shoulders
slowly but getting faster, you start bouncing on his hard length
"hngh- f-fuck, just like that, doll," he bites out
and as much as you're helping him get to release, now you're chasing your own high
the buildup of tension in your core
"I-I'm so -ngh- close, b-baby, 'm gon- gonna.."
his sentence cut off with breathy pants
you can feel your orgasm come closer and closer, the wave threatening to break
so close to not being able to take any more, you grab his hair at the base of his neck
pulling him into a deep, searing kiss, your tongues intertwining like it's all you've ever known
you pull away and lean over with your mouth next to his ear
"cum with me, touya,"
and he does, not holding back on his moans this time
the wave comes crashing down, your screams just as loud as his, if not louder
your releases mixing together as you continue to bounce, your pussy clenching from release, milking his cock for all his cum
as you both come down from your highs, you sit there, your head resting on his shoulder
he cradles you, knowing how much effort it really was to keep control the whole time
"God, you're so hot when you do that, doll," he tells you
"maybe I'll do it more often, then" you smirk
"what did I do to deserve such a good girl like you?"
#tried something new but I'm not sure I did it right #lmk if this is good or not

Hot Chocolate's Favorite Black Characters, #3
Bayek of Siwa, Assassin's Creed: Origins
Tumblr media
"You cannot kill me, for I walk among the dead. Come forth by day, and I will guide you home."
An Afro-Arab man who so loved his wife and son. That nothing would stop him from putting down the people who murdered his son. Honorable, caring, lover of his wife, afterlife roamer, certified badass and co-originator of The Hidden Ones. Bayek is one of my favorite protagonists from the Assassin's Creed series. Which is one of my favorite game series. Playing Origins and watching him go through his journey of trauma and revenge, while of course helping others along the way has been my favorite story since Ubisoft switched the AC formula. If it were not for him, his dedication to protecting people, and his wife we would not have the brotherhood that we have today. 🦅

A Second Chance Is A Better Chance - Part 12
Marvel AU
Pairing: Alpha Steve Rogers x Omega Witch Reader, eventual ? x Omega Witch Reader and Alpha Steve Rogers X Omega Witch Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Rejected by your true mate at 21, you’ve given up on the Fates and the Moon Goddesses giving you a second chance. Being a Roamer for the last 9 years, you’re an Omega hardened by the world. You’re safe on your own because of your witchcraft, but it doesn’t stop Alphas and plenty of others sniffing around, especially when you’re an unmated Omega witch, who’s wolf also happens to be white, the rarest kind. You don’t need anyone, but why do you keep coming back to Brookville and why do you keep walking into trouble and helping people that you don’t know but for some strange reason feel like family. And where is that smell of apple pie coming from?
Series Warnings: A/B/O, eventual smut, violence in parts, witchcraft, shapeshifters
Chapter Summary: The fight between you and Agatha comes to a head.
Chapter Warnings: Witchcraft, gun violence. death. Also the C word is used.
“Billy Russo, always the second choice aren’t you?”
“Shut your damn mouth Harkness.” Elektra called, now back in her position.
“It’s sad really, every single one of you is damaged goods. You’ve all had the chance for better things and yet you stay here in this sad little town. Tell me Billy boy how is it to always be second to the great Frank Castle.”
Billy moved from his spot to stand beside you.
“Bill, get back into position.” Called Frank.
“Got your attention, did I? You know Russo we always have room for more on our side.”
You glanced at Billy and watched as he tried to contain his temper, nostrils flaring and teeth gritted.
“Second to Castle in the military, second pick for S.H.I.E.L.D task force. Second pick to his mate and wife.”
A deep growl ripped through Frank’s chest.
“Watch your damn mouth Agatha.”
“Ooooo did I hit a little nerve? How are the wife and kids?”
Frank raised his gun at Agatha.
“Frankie, don’t.”
“So what’s this, you two and the witch? Second choice again Russo?”
Billy raised his gun at her.
“Billy, remember what I said.”
“Awww let me guess, shot in the dark, you thought she was your second chance, and she wanders in stinking of rejection, damaged, just like the rest of you and you thought she’d just bend over and present that omega cunt to you both.”
There’s a rumble of growls from all of the pack.
“But you couldn’t save your wife Castle and you won’t safe her.”
The moment the words leave Agatha’s mouth, you smell Frank’s scent change to one of despair  and pure rage, he moves towards Agatha as she smirks and you know you have to act now. If you don’t and Frank goes beyond the shield she’ll kill him. You’re in the air and throwing yourself at Agatha before anyone blinks, she collides heavily with a shipping container with you on top of her, landing with such force you make a dent and shove it back.
You hear yelling in the background and know that Billy and Elektra are close by, gun fire starts and a bullet skims passed your leg. It’s quickly followed by another shot and the sound of a body dropping to the floor. You make the mistake of turning to check it’s a Hydra goon. Taking your eyes off Agatha for a second is enough and her hand is under your cloak and on your ribs as she shocks you with her powers. The shock causes you to release her and your both on the floor in a heap. She quickly tries to get on top of you and you shock her backwards, this time into some crates. She struggles to right herself and with her own cloak stuck on part of the wood, you seize the chance to throw fire at her as you get back on your feet.
Then there’s a body around you and you’re on the floor again, this time Billy is on top of you as bullets ring out. Your between two containers and the fight continues, most of the pack the fighting side of the shield. Bullets fly around, one gets Billy in the shoulder of the bullet proof vest he’s wearing and you reach out in the direction of where you think the bullets came from and throw an electric shock towards it. Although you can’t see, Billy still on top of you, you hear a sound that lets you know that you’ve met the target.
Billy glances behind him and you see a glimpse of Elektra, he nods at her and pulls you to your feet. He pulls you into him, close than he knows he should and smirks.
“Not the time Bill, take a girl to dinner first.” and you brush passed him.
“Oh I’ll feed….” he stops mid sentence as a force throws him backwards. Your instinct tells you to look upwards and Agatha is there on top of one of the containers, her cloak still smouldering. You growl and throw her off the container with such force that she hits the shield and is stunned momentarily.
You turn back and run towards Billy.
His eyes are wide and turning black.
“Billy look at me, fight it, she’s hit you with something dark, fight it, think of the light, think of something good. Beta, I need you to listen.”
Elekta appears at your side.
“Shit, can you save him.”
You nod as you tried to keep control of your emotions.
“Keep talking to him and hold him down.”
Elektra straddles him and pins him down. You bring a smaller shield over the three of you to keep you safe whilst you work on Billy.
“Bill, Billy, I’m sorry but this is going to hurt.”
You pull peppermint oil from your bag and pour it straight into Bill’s mouth, as he fights against Elektra’s hold. Quickly, black liquid pools in his mouth and he starts to choke. You move your left hand in a stirring motion and it changes to a tar like substance. You pull it from his body as you talk in light language and throw it upwards and out of the shield you shock it with electricity and it disintegrates. You look backdown at Billy to see him looking back at you wide eyed.
Elektra climbs off him and pulls him to his feet. You push a recovery potion into his hand and turn to find Agatha, ridding yourselves of the smaller shield. It doesn’t take long as she’s practically in the spot that you left her, only Rumlows helping her up. This time you get a good look at his scarred face. Reminiscence of where a witch had tried to fight him. He caught sight of you and turned to towards you gun aimed. You made the gun hot so it burnt his finger tips, the rest of his hands covered by gloves. He let go of it and as it dropped to the floor you scatter the pieces with magic. You swiped your arm and Rumlow’s body went in that direction, knocking him out as he hit a container and dropped into some crates. When he came around he was met with the barrel of Billy and Elektra’s guns.
Seeing Rumlow tossed aside like a rag, caused a rush of anger to rush through Agatha and she threw herself at you. You stopped her midway with your powers and she pushed back with her own. Agatha pushed herself up into the air to try and push you down into the ground, growling as she pushed more powers at you.
You took a fighting stance as you pushed back harder, your powers glowing a mix of white, silver and gold, dancing around and clashing with Agatha's purple in the air. Managing to push Agatha’s partly back into her, she let out a scream in pain and broke away. Her eyes went wide and she screamed this time in anger and flew at you, manic and powers crackling, she started a spell causing the ground to shake.
You strengthen your stance, trying to stay balanced and gave a push back, causing Agatha to zig zag through the sky. Throwing her against the shield again to buy yourself sometime. You went in your bag and pulled a weed out of. Placing it on the ground close to the shield.
“Custodire terram matrem a malo suo”
(Protect mother earth from her evil)
The weed spread, moving and taking root in the gaps where Agatha had damaged the ground, shifting and moving it until it was level again. Another stem went off and connected itself around the shield, securing it and the town even more.
Agatha pulled herself from the shield and landed clumsily on the floor.
“You! You don’t know what or who you’re dealing with.” She growled.
“Nor do you!”
“You will never beat me OMEGA!!!” She responded throwing random shots of flame and electricity at you. You blocked everyone one and threw some back at her. Yours in a more rapid form that she couldn’t block them all. Her anger and frustration grew and she raised her arms and threw all her energy and power at you. You blocked her and pushed back with your own. Agatha started to speak in light language and pushed back harder.
You pushed again harder this time. Your eyes locked with Agatha’s and you knew this was the final push. Her powers pushing back into her had weakened her. Agatha’s eyes went wide as a single word fell from your lips.
“Reditus”
(Return)
She screamed as you turned her powers against her fully, pushing them back into her chest, along with your own. She rose from the ground electricity flickering through her hands.
“Frank! Get everyone back! Get everyone back Alpha now!”
The slip of Frank’s presentation gave a thought to Agatha and she managed to throw a bolt of electricity at him. You moved one of your hands to block it, partially releasing Agatha at the same time. She shot powers at your chest and although your cloak partially protected you, you were knocked backwards on to your ass. Breaking your hold on her, Agatha charged at you again. Frank moved to help but you held up your hand to stop him.
Agatha hovered over you and used her magic to pull you upwards, both of you now hovering up in the sky.
“You really are pathetic Omega. You think that alpha wants you, if Castle wanted you he’d have you. You’re a disappointment to your kind. A six. A white wolf and you still call a man like that Alpha. You still have that sickening need to be wanted but no one ever wants you Omega and nobody ever will. We could do great things little one.”
You kept your eyes locked on her Agatha as a stray tear ran down your cheek.
“See, you’re weak and you know Omega, you know that I’m right. They’ll never want you, not truly. Their pack will never accept you. Your second chance isn’t coming. Come with me.”
You let out a shuddered breath, the emotions overwhelming. You heard voices call your name.
You allowed yourself to go limp as Agatha still held you both in the air. You broke eye contact with her and looked up at the sky, arms outstretched as you pushed sadness out through your scent.
Agatha used one hand to keep you in the air and the other to send her magic towards you, with your cloak still around you the purple spell drifted up over your body and towards your open mouth. A smug smile fell across Agatha’s face as you gave yourself over to her, the cutting words she’d spouted forcing you to give in. There were shouts from below as the spell began to enter your mouth.
And then it stopped. Your mouth snapped shut and you were the one smirking. Agatha’s eyes went wide.
“No!”
You flew forward pushing back the hand that had pushed the spell at you and grabbed Agatha by the throat.
“The problem with alphas like you Agatha, is you always underestimate us. You always look for the weakness. You never see what makes us strong. What we’ve seen! What we’ve been through. You Agatha, you seek weakness, you see darkness, you see evil. But after everything, after every scar, every bit of darkness, after every bit of darkness to touch me, I see light, I see hope, I see love.”
“You’re weak! Love is weak!” Agatha yelled as she struggled in your grip.
“Love always wins, Agatha, always. Oh and FYI I’m not a six. I’m a fucking seven.”
You pulled on the wound and felt the strength of your sister witches pushing back. Your hair, eyes and skin began to shimmer again and Agatha screamed.
“Noooooo!!!!”
“Agatha Harkness, may the goddesses cleanse you of all evil and be kind to your soul.”
You placed your hand against Agatha’s chest and pushed all of your power into her.
“Dimittere ea quae capta sunt”
(Let go of those things which have been taken)
She gasped and her body gradually went limp in your hands. Powers began to pour from her and you knew they weren’t hers. You could smell and feel the pain of the witches she had taken them from as they released upwards into the sky, a multitude of colours scattered into the clouds. You felt Agatha stiffen and she began to fight against you again, her weakened powers flickering from her hands as she tried to flick them at you.
“May your fellow witches forgive you.” you whispered and you gave her another push of your powers. She yelled out and try to push her own remaining powers back at you. You kept your grip on her and pushed back growling as you did. The force of your powers mixed together. The shield around the town crackled with static energy, as the wind picked up around you and Agatha. A reflection of both of your strength. The wind grew stronger as it formed and twisted around you. There was an almighty crack of thunder above as the wind whipped around you more. Your powers continued to clash and out of the corner of your eye you could see the weed spreading rapidly to protect the shield and the ground around you as it shook. The sky let out another crack of thunder and lightning shot across the sky.
“Vale soror”
(Goodbye sister)
Almighty crack of thunder shook the sky and lightning forked down hitting you both. A blast of purple light burst from Agatha and you were both thrown backwards. Your decent from the sky to the ground was slow to begin with, quickening as you fell. You kept your eyes on Agatha as you slipped downwards, no care or inclination to stop your fall. Watching Agatha disintegrate and scatter into the air was the last thing you saw. You let out a sigh of relieve as darkness enveloped you.
Enjoy this fic? Fancy a cuppa? My Ko-Fi.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Yan!Kurapika x fem!Reader
A/N: Thank you for requesting I might start back taking requests since I have a little bit more free time. Sorry for the wait, and any spelling errors.
TW: Use of violence. (Guns)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kurapika was so sweet even though he was uptight, and he had his moments where he didn’t understand things. He was human. So when a virus that spread quickly through Japan, and eventually the world. He has his mind set on making sure you stay alive, and healthy. You urged him to let you leave to check on your mother and friends. He offered to do it for you, but then again you didn’t want Kurapika going out there by himself. What if he doesn’t come back? What if he comes back, and tells you bad news about your mother? Either way things could be worse.
“I just want to keep you safe, and you know that I’m not going to keep explaining myself continuously.”
“I- Kurapika wait-.”
“I’ll be back don’t go anywhere. Don’t listen to the whisperers if they try to lure you. What did I say to remember?”
“Reality is different from the dead.”
“Good.” Kurapika patted your head before leaving to go, and check on your mother.
Kurapika has you located in a cabin in a forest you’ve never been before. It was small and comfy. He made sure to get the both of you out of the city, and around people. He had friends. Two little boys, and another man. Leorio, Gon, and Killua. You seemed worried for them when you first met them. It was when the virus first panned out. You thought they would be scared, and afraid. They were actually excited to learn about the zombies, and the virus. They even listed them in categories with Kurapika. There were 4 categories.
Walkers, creepers, Crawlers, and Roamers.
Walkers are your typical zombies, they walk around day and night and over time eventually rot. Disadvantages: Their skin rots after a week, blind, overly slow. Advantages: enhanced hearing.
Creepers usually come out at night. They hide during the day to avoid rotting in the sunlight. They usually come out at night to bite, and eat any living thing that comes in their path.
Advantages: They have enhanced nerves the signal the sign of sun-burn which is why they usually hide in the day. They have amazing hiding skills
Disadvantages: They usually stay in one place, and don’t really move unless it’s night time. Blind.
Crawlers crawl on all fours. You can find them in the day, and you can find them at night.
Advantages: They are super fast. Enhanced hearing.
Disadvantages: Blind.
Roamers are zombie that used nen when they were alive. They roam the earth day and night. They still use their nen techniques, but they bend their techniques in ways that will help them eat living things and lure out the uninfected.
Advantages: Enhanced hearing and sight. Super fast at running and walking. Can use nen. Intelligent. Looks humanly. (Could be mistaken for a human)
Disadvantages: None.
These were the categories for each “zombie”. Kurapika taught you this, so you could be aware. He made these categories from research, and observations. You didn’t know why you needed to know about them though since he almost never lets you leave the cabin. Sometimes you go out and along the plantation, but that’s it. Gon, Killua, and Leorio comes over from time to time, they keep you company and for that your greatful. Maybe you can get them to talk to Kurapika? Sometimes you missed them because they don’t come over as often anymore. They send Kurapika multiple letters letting him know they’re alive, and doing well.
You got up to make dinner for Kurapika. He usually comes back home at night from hunting for food, and looking for resources. There was scratching at the windows. You’ve hearing it for hours. You assumed it was birds. There were no zombies out this far right? Kurapika told you that he encountered a zombie deer a week ago, and that we should watch what we haunt and eat.
Even if it was one of those creepy mutant animals. What were you going to do? Kurapika left multiple guns, and bullets in case you needed them when he was gone. You don’t even want to peep out the window because of how scared you were.
Which category was the fastest again? Creepers? Walkers? All of sudden you forgot every single thing about the chart Kurapika told you to memorize. The scratching got louder and louder. You then heard the door close and slam shut.
Kurapika cam through the front door breathing heaving and there was a hint of fear in his face.
“Darling go in the bedroom and lock the door now.”
You didn’t think twice and rushed towards upstairs. You went into the master’s bedroom and locked the door behind you. You heard ringing gunshots, and heavy footsteps. You heard one final gunshot then it went eerily quiet. There were footsteps coming up the stairs, but you stayed out and quiet. You heard the door knob twist, but whoever was at the door couldn’t get in because of the lock.
“Honey, let me in yeah? It’s Kurapika. The zombies are dead.”
You got the shotgun Kurapika stored under your shared bed and loaded it.
“Kurapika? Baby?” Your voice shaky with fear.
“Yes Honey? Let me in.”
“Don’t listen to it. It’s not me. Darling!” The voice sounded familiar it was smooth, and almost soothing like Kurapika’s real voice.
“Honey. That’s one of the monsters let me in so we can leave this zombie ridden forest forever.” His was the same. It sounded just the same.
If there was one thing you knew about Kurapika he wouldn’t let you leave this place even if you asked the thing outside the door wasn’t Kurapika. This was a Roamer.
You opened the door and blasted a big one in the center of the Roamer zombie. You finally heard Kurapika come up the stairs, and he made the finishing blow with gun.
“Always shoot for the head love.” His voice was soft and loving almost like he enjoyed killing the Roamer with you.
“Yeah, my bad.” You scratched behind your neck trying to hide your embarrassment.
“It’s okay darling. I’ll clean this up and you go finish dinner yeah?”
And even after all this you smiled thankful to still be alive.

Concept: Upon their deaths, each of the OG Three(Lion, Holly and Jay) become sort of, guardians of one facet of the afterlife.
Lionblaze becomes a Cerberus like figure, he patrols the borders of the dark forest, ensuring no one enters or exits when they aren't supposed to. Over the years and years he becomes a feared figure, and cats claim if you are sentenced to an afterlife in the dark forest he drags you there himself with no mercy.
Hollyleaf, already being a Starclan cat and with her penchant for justice, is the guardian of Starclan. She ensures they have their peace to hunt and rest after long lives lived by the code. But she also watches for misuse of power and is not above casting a cat out, temporarily or permanently, for using the gifts granted in the afterlife to do harm on the living. She also supervises meetings between denizens of Starclan and those of Other afterlives and is considered the Judge and Jury of who gets to stay in Starclan.
Jayfeather has always had a... complicated relationship with Starclan, the Dark Forest and other deceased cats. He does go to Starclan initially and reunites with his kin and those he cares about... but nothing seems right. He tries joining his brother's patrols, wondering if he needs a sense of purpose, but that isn't right either. Eventually Jayfeather, the cat who freely walked through afterlives and dreams as a kit, realizes that he feels trapped in this, and chooses to become a roamer. He is one of few spirits given free reign to travel between afterlives, and is considered in some mythos' generations down the line to be the herald of death, the sightless guide to your afterlife, or the one to guide you back if you are lost. Cats stolen by two legs or lost in some other way are often found by him after their death and guided back to Starclan, where Hollyleaf welcomes them, and her brother, with warmth.
Idk I just needed to word vomit this out lol

Also do you have any lore for Aven's mom? I think she's pretty neat tbh-
Mom time!
She's an Ophan, so in the same rank as Lightning Nightmare.
Much less.... gremliny though. That said, she does have a gremlin streak if sufficiently prompted.
She has a weapon form, although it's not quite a traditional weapon. It's a scepter. Which can very much be used for blunt force trauma, and has lightning charged in the orb.
Tumblr media
Her wielder is actually a Cherub - most Ophanim are wielded by cherubs. However, in some cases they'll bind to an Angel as a sign of military honor.
However, she also fights without her wielder just as herself pretty often. She mostly takes orders from him.
Pre-Conflict, she was a Nebula guardian - she watched over some of the Roamer Nebulas in the area to ensure they were coming out healthy and nothing was stirring trouble. She's always cared very deeply about Roamers, and that carried over into the Conflict by a thread.
When not monitoring the nebulas, she supervised an Angel flock - the angel rankings all group in flocks, with an angel of the next order up overseeing that flock. So she has her flock of Angels that she watches over, just as a Cherub watches over her fellow flock of Ophanim.
She is the definition of a Mother Hen when it comes to said flock, especially when they get hurt. Immediately she is there checking in and making sure everything is okay.
That also means she's quick to enforce discipline if someone does something bad. Much to her delight, she doesn't have to do this very often - her Angels love her dearly and don't want to disappoint her or lose her respect.
Every now and then she can be found starlet-sitting for someone. Usually fellow angels, but sometimes other Starfolk either because they know her or on recommendation. She's notoriously good with kids.
All of the above natural motheryness is... pretty unusual for Ophan. They're usually the definitional warrior angels.
And frankly, she is still a warrior angel. Everyone would do well to remember that.
She just also has a soft side that she's willing to actively show and nurture. Which is a stark contrast to the usual emotional constipation of Ophanim.
Once we get to New Eden, she resumes right where she left off with parenting Aven, and immediately adopts Edda.
She an Angel get along very well. They are in fact Besties.
Her view of Demon is... highly unenthused. She gave him a chance for her to evaluate, given the effects of the Conflict, but.... Yeah. He failed the vibe check.
Dark Paladin sorta... half-passed the vibe check. She wasn't quite sure what to do with him. On his own he's a little rough around the edges but pretty tolerable. But the things he puts up with concerning Demon are, in her view, ridiculous.
In the event that Paladin ever decides to extricate himself from that particular rats' nest, she will happily help him haul himself out and drag him into the family.
Her stance on Demon now is "Come near my family and I will put you in the ground."
Amusingly, she cannot cook to save her life. Eventually that improves to "she can cook three dishes to an edible degree," because Aven attempts to teach her, but she more or less concludes it's just not worth it.
She is a rather talented weaponsmith though. It's something she dabbled in pre-Conflict, and now in New Eden she spends more time with it. Edda would like to take lessons.
She's one of the few Lightfolk that actively wishes she could go underwater safely. As a result, she's one of the first to test the eventual fruits of Willow's research.
She darn near adopts the Wanderers (and Willow) collectively, although for Aziel, Athena, and Willow she's almost more of an aunt or big sister figure. Athena doesn't know what to do with the positive attention - she specifically remembers this woman attempting to skewer her.
Eventually that irons out a bit though. It's a good thing too - Athena desperately needs an older mentor figure to go to sometimes. Paladin may be older than her but also he is fact a he and he's got significantly more Older Brother energy for her. And also he's not exactly her first pick for advice of all things.
Eeeevery now and then, someone manages to bring out her mischievous streak, and chaos ensues.
There have been more than a few tickle fights. Aven fears the tickles. Someone save him.

It had been a couple hours since Rick, Michonne and Glenn had left to investigate the helicopter. Lori was practically pacing holes into the floor, and Carol was trying her best to comfort her. You had a feeling something weird was going on between the two but you didn't bring it up in fear of upsetting your two best friends, Carl and Sophia. The two teens had been with you since everything started, the three of you an inseparable trio.
Currently, you and Sophia were about to sneak into Carl's cell and steal some comics while he was busy pestering Andrea.
"hurry before he sees us!" Sophia whispers while darting into the cell. You follow along closely, keeping your eye out for the cowboy.
"Holy shit he does have my Spider-Man comic!" You gasp, clutching the aforementioned comic to your chest. Sophia snorts as she picks up some comics that look interesting.
"Sophia.. Sophia why are you staring at She-Hulk?" You ask, waving your hand in front of the 13 year olds face. She jumps a bit, cheeks tinged red as she drops the comic.
"No reason." Sophia says simply before poking her head out of the cell to check for Carl.
"Coast is clear. Let's go." She whispers, motioning for you to run out behind her with the goodies. As you go to do so, a familiar voice stops the both of you.
"Did you seriously just rob me." Carl deadpans, arms crossed with an unamused expression. You and Sophia slowly turn to face him with awkward smiles, comics still held in your arms.
"wwhhhhhhat....? noooo-" You begin to say, but Carl cuts you off with a pointed look at the incriminating comics. Sophia slouches and you almost laugh when she stares longingly at She-Hulk.
"Alright c'mon, put 'em back." Carl sighs, shooing both of you back into his cell.
"Ugh you're no fun Carl." You pout, scoffing but putting the comics back. Carol then yells for Sophia, to which she sighs but goes to find her mother leaving you and Carl alone.
Carl leans against the wall awkwardly as the silence stretches between the two of you. Until finally he breaks it.
"Sooo... wanna go on the basketball court?" He asks, his voice cracking in the middle of the sentence. You snort but nod and actually laugh when Carl's face glows red from embarrassment.
****
The two of you walk out onto the court with Lori and see Dale alongside Andrea out as well. Tyreese waves at the three of you to which you smile back at the tall man.
Carl and you settle on the concrete and start rolling a basketball back and forth to one another as Tyreese and Lori chat.
Suddenly Carol runs out screaming.
"THE ROAMERS — T-THEY BROKE THE FENCE DOWN!" She screams and Lori's face drops, her eyes and body darting to you and Carl.
Tyreese grabs you while your mind runs a million miles per second. 'Are we gonna die?' You snap out your dark thoughts when Tyreese drops you down inside the prison with Carl, Sophia, Lori and Carol. Sophia hugs you tightly as she panics but Carl stands near the door with his hand held protectively in front of his mom.
The sounds of roamers groaning outside penetrate everyone's ears when you remember.. Dale and Andrea out there. Where was Hershel? Maggie?
****
It's been hours of listening to the sounds of roamers growing ever closer. Sophia lays asleep in her mom's arms while you, Carl and Lori sit near one another.
"Hey Carl.." You whisper into the silence. His eyes flash up to you and so do Lori's.
"Yeah ___?" He whispers, scooting a bit closer to hear you better. Lori and Tyreese watch with close eyes and peeled ears to make sure you aren't speaking too loud.
"Are.. are you scared?" You ask, voice wavering slightly from the stress of the situation. Carl shakes his head, dark brown hair that probably needs to be cut falling into his eyes.
"No of course not-" Before he can finish his sentence, sounds of gunshots ring out from beyond the walls of the prison.
Then a loud bang and creaks mixed with the screeching of tires fills the following lapse of silence.
"What the fuck?" Sophia whispers, tensing where she lays in her mom's arms. The three adults look at one another, eyes wide and dark as they individually grab onto one of you. Once again you are enveloped into Tyreese's tight grasp while Lori pushes Carl behind her.
Minutes pass when the door opens, daylight flooding in. You hear Carl gasp and run out, yelling for his dad.
"DAD!! YOU'RE ALIVE- AGH!" Carl flinches back as you hear Lori's breath fall short. Finally you look up and feel sick.
Rick's hand is gone, only a stub left.

"Light it up" Daryl called out to everyone as they took the roamers in the field out, Rick soon enough joined in from above.
Eventually, all the bodies were dropped and the field was theirs.
"Home Sweet Home." Natalia sighed as they left the tower.
"Fantastic" Carl said as they greeted him and Hershel.
"Nice shooting" Daryl complimented.
"You okay?" Carol asked Lori.
"I haven't felt this good in weeks." She smiled.
"Then lets go celebrate." Natalia patted her shoulder. "Sul, go run around boy."
Sully woofed as he ran through the gate and across the gate, his tail wagging dangerously fast, that he might take off at any moment, he stopped at one roamer, growling as it began to get up, Glenn was quick to take it out for good.
"Oh, we haven't had this much space since we left the farm" Carol said in glee as she twirled around on the grass, everyone else joined as they cheered and laughed.
It was nightfall, the group sat around a fire as Maggie turned over meat, Rick paced around the Perimeter, Daryl walked back and forth the over turned bus as he scoped out possible signs of danger, Natalia was stood around the fence facing the courtyard, dwelling on her thoughts as she threw darts at roamers who decided to get close enough to the fence, Sully growled at them from beside her.
"Why don't you go get some food?" Rick had walked past her again, stopping this time.
"Sully, go eat." She told the dog, who obeyed and jogged towards the campfire.
"I didn't mean the dog." He said.
"I'm not used to sitting in a field filled with roamers, neither is my appetite, besides, there's not enough for both of us, he'll have my share."
"We have enough."
"Here, have a go" She offered a dart to the man. "Saving us a job for tomorrow, no way in hell we're stopping at here, right?."
He took the dart with a shake of his head.
"Thanks." He said. "For the gate."
"If I didn't get him, Daryl or carol would've, she's getting good, fast learner."
"But you got it, so I'm thanking you."
"Your people are having a sing-along, should go join them." She looked over her shoulder at Beth and Maggie singing.
"After you." He said, throwing another dart.
"I'm alright." She shrugged.
"Come down in a bit, you should get some sleep."
"Speak for yourself." Natalia replied.
He shook his head as he eventually walked down to the others, sitting beside Lori In the circle.
"She's gonna spend the whole night up there" Lori said.
"I talked to her." Rick responded taking the bowl that was passed to him and holding it up to his wife.
"Nat doesn't think she's part of the group yet." Beth included herself into the conversation.
"She ain't" Daryl told her.
"She's saved half our lives in just a few weeks, Natalia is as much as part of this group as the rest of us." Hershel disagreed.
Daryl looked over his shoulder to see the woman staring up at the stars, seemingly bored of her dart game, there was something about her that he didn't trust, she was holding in a big secret, he didn't like that.
Rick had decided to move the conversation away from the woman, laying out the plans for tomorrow and heading off to the designated lookout spot, Lori quick to catch up as the rest settled down for the night, Sully had decided to bother the redneck with his presence as he curled up next to the man instead of his owner
Rick's plan had entailed that him, Daryl, T-Dog, Glenn, Maggie and Natalia as a group would infiltrate the courtyard, taking out the rest of the roamers in there before moving in, as long as they stayed in a formation and kept to the plan, they should be good.
"Stay here, boy." She told Sully, feeding him a treat as he sat by Carl. "Watch him for me, will ya?"
"Course!" The kid promised as he gave her a small smile.
"We all ready?" Rick asked.
"Let's go have some fun." Natalia muttered to herself, pulling out her weapon of choice and tucking her tank top behind her knifes for easy access in case she were to need them.
"It ain't supposed to be fun" Daryl growled from beside her, shooting her an hard look.
"Suit yourself." She shrugged.
"Ready?" Hershel asked, but didn't get an answer as Rick pushed the gate open.
The roamers in the courtyard came stumbling towards them, growling loud and desperately as they tripped over the bodies that had fallen victim to Natalia's late night game.
"Daryl" Rick called over to the redneck who quickly took out the one closet to him.
The group was quick to take out any undead prisoners that got close to them, whilst keeping an eye out for any coming from different blind spots.
"Get tight. Get tight." Glenn raised his voice as they began closing in on the group, the rest on the other side were banging and shouting on the fence to bring the prisoners attention to them so they could get them through the fence.
T-Dog jogged from the group, ignoring Ricks calls as he reached for a riot shield.
"Don't break ranks!" Rick ordered.
"We need that." T-Dog argued, using the shield to knock a prisoner over and letting Maggie finish it off, before she joined Glenn's side once again.
"Almost there." Rick clarified as they got further into the prison courtyard.
Rick opened up a steel red door, looking over the corner as the rest got ready for another attack, but copied their leader as he was quick to lean against the wall, hiding from the other side.
"What is it?" Natalia asked in a hushed whisper.
Another courtyard was filled with Roamers as 4, suited up in riot gear, caught their scent and barrelled towards them.
Daryl inched closer as a riot geared roamer growled at him, as he shot an arrow at the shield covering it's face, causing it to bounce off and onto the floor.
"Nice going, dumbass." Natalia teased as he glared at her, quick to move his eyes back to the roamers ahead.
Everyone struggled with the riots as Rick reached for the gate to shut out the other courtyard roamers.
Natalia grabbed one that reached out for her, stabbing into it's throat and aiming for the skull as it dropped to the ground.
"Go up, through the gap at their necks" She called to the others.
"Daryl!" Rick called out to the other man, as they both jogged for the gate, kicking back a roamer and managing to close it.
"See that?!" Maggie grinned as she took the advice, a body dropping to the ground. T-Dog and Glenn were quick to do the same.
Eventually, they had taken them all out and the courtyard was cleared.
Natalia walked back to the Roamers with the darts, taking them out and wiping them clean on her jeans before pocketing them.
"Stop" Rick halted Glenn from going back to the others as they looked around.
"Well, it looks secure." The younger man said.
"Not from the look of that courtyard over there." Daryl pointed at the roamers behind the now closed gate. "And that's a civilian."
"So the interior could be overrun from walkers from outside the prison." T-Dog sighed.
"Well if there's walls down, what are we gonna do?" Glenn questioned. "We can't rebuild this whole place."
"We can't risk a blind spot. We have to push in." Rick declared.
Natalia let out a sigh, for a moment, wondering why she chose to go with these people after all, it seemed like a lot of work.
The group made their way to a rusty metal cage, heading towards another red door.
Daryl stood ready to open it as Rick raised his machete, nodding at the man as the door was slid open and he entered.
The group entered the cellblock, all on high alert and weapons raised as they looked around it.
It was a mess and water was dripping from an unknown area.
Rick had walked to the guard tower, snatching the keys from a dead guard and joined the rest, unlocking the door to the actual cells, which was also equally messy.
Natalia and Maggie peered into an open cell, spotting a prisoner who looked to have been shot through the head, they shared a look before moving on.
Growling sounds came from upstairs, where Rick and Daryl had disappeared to.
Soon enough, they were taken care off.
"Go get the others, we'll move these out." Rick told Glenn, who followed the orders and left the cellblock.
Daryl kicked the bodies down and T-Dog made way of dragging them out of the cellblock.
Sully came running, almost tackling Natalia as he jumped up at her.
"Hey, boy, missed me?" She grinned as she petted her dog.
"What do you think?" Rick asked as the others eventually came in, carrying their belongings.
"Home sweet home" Glenn mused.
"For the time being." Rick replied.
"It's secure?" Lori asked.
"This cellblock is."
"What about the rest of the prison?" Hershel asked.
"In the morning, we'll find the cafeteria and infirmary."
"We sleep in the cells?" Beth hesitated, looking around.
"I found keys on some guards, Daryl has a set, too."
"I ain't sleeping in no cage." Daryl decided. "I'll take the perch."
The group went to choose their cells, Natalia made her way upstairs, patting her leg so that Sully would follow.
"You staying up here, too?" Carol asked Natalia, Lori by her side.
"Oh, were you guys planning on it?" She asked.
"We can be cell roomies." Lori laughed.
"Uhm." Natalia looked over the railing, seeing how many people were staying downstairs. "I think I'll take the corner over there." She pointed at the corner further away from everyone else, forcing a smile on her face in hopes to still seem friendly as she walked away from the two women.
Natalia placed her belongings, that was kindly picked up for her into the empty cell before going to find the other man with a set of keys.
"Hey." She greeted as he got comfortable on his perch.
"Hm?" He grunted.
"Was wondering if I could have one of those keys, for my cell." She said.
"Why'd you need it?" He asked, sceptical of the request.
"For personal reassurance."
"Not good enough." He shook his head.
"Daryl, just give it, I don't need to explain myself to you."
"Y'know none of us are gonna attack you in yer sleep."
"I know that, but I'd feel much better if I just had one, don't be so difficult."
"Whatever." He grumbled, picking up the ring of keys and taking one off, chucking it at her before throwing it back down and getting comfortable again.
"Thank you" She grumbled, walking back to her cell and locking the door with her and Sully inside.
"Nat let's go!" Daryl shouted up, it was the next day, and they were planning on scoping out other parts of the prison.
Natalia sighed as she finally got up from the bed, she hadn't slept in a while, who knew that a locked cell in an overrun prison was enough to make her feel safe to close her eyes.
She walked down in the same outfit as the day she met the group, except, instead of a tank top she was wearing a black long sleeved V-neck, the buttons undone, as Rick expressed to Carl about not coming with them as the others suited up.
"You're going like that?" T-Dog asked, looking at her pyjama bottoms.
"Gotta get dressed up for the roamers?" She asked. "I got everything I need." Natalia tucked her shirt behind the belt full of knifes and daggers, shoving a small handgun in the waistband at her back, making sure the knot on her bottoms were tight enough that it wouldn't fall out.
"Let's go." Rick decided, passing the ring of keys to Carl as they left the cellblock, Hershel adding to the group.
The seven walked through the prison, flashlights shining round the darkness, landing on dead bodies and open doors.
Glenn spray painted any corner that they passed, checking it off as clear.
A thud was getting louder as they seemed to be getting closer to it, Rick and Daryl led the group as they rounded two corners, each having their weapons and flashlights held high.
Suddenly, Rick jumped backwards, alerting everyone else to go back.
"Walkers!" Glenn hissed.
They ran down different corners, as more seemed to pop up from them, blocking entry's off as they followed Daryl's lead.
Glenn, Maggie and Natalia got cut off as loads more came in front of them, Glenn grabbed the two women, pulling them into a cupboard and closing the door, as the walkers pounded against it.
"This is cosy" Natalia hummed. "Anyone up for a game of seven minutes in heaven?"
Soon enough, the pounding had stopped and Glenn opened the door back up as the three left.
"Rick?" Glenn called out.
"Dad?" Maggie copied.
"Anyone?" Natalia joined in.
Hershel's distinct cries could be heard in the darkness, sending the three running after him.
Maggie began crying as it was obvious that Hershel had been bitten.
There was no time to think as the walkers had come back, Rick and Glenn picked the old man up, resting his arms around their shoulders.
"We gotta go" Natalia told the other woman, placing her hand on her lower back and grabbing her arm, leading her to follow the rest.
"Rick! We're blocked!" T-Dog shouted, as the walkers came from every direction except for one, which they were forced to go down.
There was only one door, and it was locked with a pair of handcuffs.
"Unlock the door!" Glenn ordered as T-Dog used the bolt cutters and pushed it open.
The group rushed inside whilst T-Dog and Daryl fought to push the doors closed against the walkers.
Glenn and Rick set Hershel down on the floor and everyone helped to hold the crying man down as Rick ripped his trousers and inspected the bite on his leg.
"Hold him down." Rick ordered as he began to take of his belt and tied it around Hershels leg.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Natalia asked, wide eyed.
"Only one way to keep him alive." Rick said, picking up his axe.
Natalia looked away as she continued to help hold the man down as Rick hacked at his leg.
Movement caught her eye from the barred off area.
Roamers, no, they were alive.
Five prisoners were watching them.
"He's bleeding out," Rick dropped his axe.
Natalia turned to look at Daryl, who had caught them as well.
"Duck." Daryl muttered before picking up his crossbow and aiming at them, Natalia jumped to her feet too, pulling out her handgun and pointing it straight ahead.
"Holy shit." A blond prisoner whispered.
"Who the hell are you?" Daryl asked, advancing, Natalia close behind, she got a bad feeling instantly about these guys.
"Who the hell are you?" one copied.
"He's bleeding out." Rick repeated, his voice sounding hazy as he looked around. "We gotta go back."
"Why don't you come on out of there." Daryl told them. "Slow and steady."
A Hispanic man with long dark hair came out first, looking at Hershel before the two people with weapons in their hands, he looked the woman up and down first, seemingly taken aback.
"What happened to him?" He asked, looking back at Hershel.
"He got bit" Daryl answered.
"Bit?" the man asked, pulling out a small gun.
"Yeah, by a roamer." Natalia said, tightening her grip around the gun, taking the safety off.
"Woah, woah, easy now. Nobody needs to get hurt." Daryl expressed as the man pointed his gun at the pair and T-Dog, who had also raised his gun at them.
Glenn ignored the prisoners as he moved past them and into the space they were occupying, looking for anything to help with the old man.
"Who the hell are you people anyway?" The main prisoner asked.
"Don't look like no rescue team." The blond said.
Natalia scoffed at him as she kept her gun pointed at the Hispanic.
"If a rescue team is what you're waiting on, don't." Rick told them as he helped Maggie stand Hershel up. "Come on, we gotta go. Now! Come on, I need a hand here!".
Glenn and Rick raised Hershel onto a trolley.
"T, the door." Rick instructed.
"Are you crazy? Don't open that." A small dark skinned prisoner told them.
"We got this!" Rick assured.
T-dog took out a raid geared roamer as Rick called Daryl and Natalia back.
"We can't just leave them." She told the redneck.
"We gotta go." He nodded at her, walking backwards with his crossbow still aimed, waiting for her to leave before him, which she begrudgingly did.
They ran down the hallways, attempting to get back to the cellblock.
"They're following us." Natalia hissed, causing the group to pause as they heard a voice whisper about following the flashlight.
"Go, let's go." Rick decided, continuing, until they eventually got back.
Daryl unlocked the door, letting everyone in, as Maggie and Rick pushed Hershel through.
"Open the door! It's Hershel!" Rick called out. "Carl!"
Carl opened the door to the cells as Beth cried out.
T-Dog closed the door once Glenn had got through.
Natalia raised her gun, waiting for the first person to walk around the corner.
The Hispanic was the first through the door.
"That's far enough." Daryl said.
"Keep on coming, you can join your friends back there." Natalia threatened.
"Cell block C, Cell 4, that's mine, gringo, let me in." The man said.
"Not anymore."
"Today's your lucky day, fellas. You've been pardoned by the state of Georgia, you're free to go." Daryl told them bluntly.
"What you got going on in there?"
"None of your business." Natalia sneered.
"Or any of your concern." Daryl added.
"Don't be telling me what's my business or concern." He said, pulling out his toy gun.
"You gonna take the two of us out with that little thing?" Natalia teased. "Put it down."
"Why don't you put yours down first, pretty lady." He sized her up once again.
"Chill, man. Dude's legs messed up. Besides, we're free to go." The biggest of the group said. "Why are we still here?"
"Mans got a point."
"Yeah, and I gotta check on my old lady." Another said.
"A group of civilians breaking into a prison you got no business being in. Got me thinking there ain't no place for us to go."
"Maybe we just like the scenery." Natalia shrugged. "Should go look for yourself, what it's like out there."
"Maybe we'll just be going on." The blond suggested.
"Hey, we ain't leaving."
"You ain't coming in either." T-dog told the Hispanic.
"Hey, this is my house, my rules. I go where I damn well please."
"I don't think that's how prison works, buddy."
"Hey, shut your damn mouth, lady."
"Why don't you try and make me." Natalia took the safety of her gun off once again, raising it back to him. "I'll put you down before you can take another step further."
"You even know how to use that?" The little one asked.
"Want me to prove it?"
"Look, there ain't nothing here, so why don't you go back to your own sandbox." Daryl told them.
"Hey, everyone relax. There's no need for this." Rick came out of the cells.
"How many of you are in there?" The Hispanic asked.
"Too many for you to handle." Rick lied.
"You guys rob a bank or something? Why don't you take him to a hospital?"
"Yeah, and we'll make a trip to Disneyland on the way there." Natalia rolled her eyes.
"How long have you been locked in that cafeteria?" Rick asked.
"Going on like 10 months."
"A riot broke out." The big one said. "Never seen anything like it."
"Attica on speed, man." The blond added.
"Ever heard about dude's going cannibal, dying, coming back to life?" The little one asked. "Crazy."
"One guard looked out for us, locked us up in the cafeteria. Told us to sit tight, threw me this piece, said he'd be right back."
"Yeah, that was 292 days ago."
"94, according to my calcula-"
"Shut up!"
"We were thinking that the Army or National Guard should be showing up any day now."
"There is no Army." Rick told them.
"What do you mean?"
"There's no government, no hospitals, no police. It's all gone."
"For real?" The blond asked.
"Serious."
"What about my moms?" The big one said to himself.
"My kids and my old lady? Yo, you got a cell phone or something, that we can call our families?"
"You just don't get it, do you?" Daryl grumbled.
"No phones, no computers." Rick said, as Daryl lowered his crossbow, but Natalia didn't chance lowering her gun. "As far as we can see, at least half the population has been wiped out, probably more."
There was a silent pause as the prisoners seemed to take this in.
"Ain't no way." The Hispanic denied.
"See for yourself." Rick told him.
Everyone made it outside as the prisoners looked around the courtyard, stretching.
"Damn the sun feels good." The tall man, Oscar said.
"Good lord, they're all dead." The blond, Axel sighed.
"Never thought I'd be so happy to see these fences."
"You never said. How the hell did you get in here in the first place?" Andrew, the little one asked.
"Cut a hole in that fence over there by that guard tower." Daryl explained, ignoring the glare that Natalia shot at him for revealing that.
"That easy, huh?"
"Where there's a will, there's a way."
"Easy for you to say."
"So what, is this like a disease?" Big Tiny asked as he poked a body.
"Yeah, and we're all infected." Rick said.
"What do you mean, infected?" Axel asked. "Like AIDS or something?"
"If I was to kill you, shoot an arrow in your chest, you'd come back as one of these things" Daryl told him. "Gonna happen to all of us."
"Ain't no way these Robin Hood cats responsible for killing all these freaks." Tomas said. "Must be 50 bodies out here."
"If you think you can do better, try it somewhere else." Natalia told him.
"Where'd you come from?" Tomas asked Rick, ignoring the woman.
"Atlanta."
"Where are you headed?"
"For now, nowhere."
"I guess you could take that area down there, near the water. Should be comfortable." Tomas pointed at the field.
"We're using that field for crops."
"We'll help you move your gear out."
"That won't be necessary, we took these walkers out. This Prisons is ours."
"Slow down, Cowboy."
"You snatched the locks off our doors." Andrew piped up.
"We'll give you new locks if that's how you want it."
"This is our prison. We were here first."
"Locked in a broom closet?" Rick asked Tomas.
"We took it, set you free. It's ours. We spilled blood."
"We're moving back into our cell block."
"You'll have to get your own."
"It is mine, I've still got personal artifacts in there." Tomas argued, pulling his gun back out again, causing everyone to raise theirs once again.
"Woah, woah, woah. Maybe lets try to make this work out so everybody wins." Axel suggested, standing in the middle of two sides.
"I don't see that happening."
"Neither do I." Rick agreed with Tomas.
"I ain't going back in that cafeteria for one more minute."
"There are other cell blocks."
"You could leave." Daryl reminded. "Try your luck out on the road."
"I'm a big fan of that idea." Natalia chimed in.
"If these three pussies and the little lady can do all this, the least we can do is take out another cell block." Natalia didn't like the way Tomas's expression seemed to change up all of a sudden.
"With what?" Big Tiny asked.
"Atlanta here will spot us some real weapons. Won't you boss?"
"How stocked is that cafeteria?" Rick then asked. "It must have plenty of food, five guys lasting almost a year?"
"It sure as hell don't look like anybody's been starving." Daryl commented.
"There's only a little left."
"We'll take half. In exchange, we'll help clear out a cell block." Natalia felt uneasy about Ricks idea, she didn't like the idea of living anywhere near these guys.
"Didn't you hear him? There's only a little left." Andrew said.
"Bet you got more food than you got choices. You pay, we'll play. We'll clear out a block for you then you keep to it."
"Alright." Tomas caved.
"But lets be clear, if we see you out here, anywhere near our people, If I so much as even catch a whiff of your scent, I will kill you." Rick said.
"Deal."
"Rick, I don't trust this" Natalia muttered as they headed back to the cafeteria. "They're prisoners for a reason."
"What else are we supposed to do?" Daryl asked.
"Take them out, don't give them chances." Natalia shrugged.
"No, we don't, you don't live like that anymore, alright?" Rick said.
"Yeah, well, I didn't shoot any of you lot, cause I didn't feel like I had to, I do with them, I got a knack for these kinda things."
"They give us the opportunity, we'll shoot, not until then." Rick decided.
"Pantry's back here." Tomas called out once they reached it.
"You never tried to break out of here?" T asked.
"Yeah, we tried to take the doors off. But if you make one peep in here, then those freaks will be lined up outside the door, growling tryna get in." Oscar explained.
"Windows got bars on there that He-Man couldn't get through." Big Tiny asked.
"Bigger than 5x8" Axel added.
"You won't find me complaining. Doing 15, my left leg can barely fit on one of those bunks."
"Yeah, they don't call him Big Tiny for nothing."
"You done jerking each other off?" Tomas asked. "Sick of waiting back here."
Natalia gave Rick a knowing look, he let out a sigh as he continued, but she didn't miss how he put a hand on his gun.
"This what you call a little bit of food?" Daryl asked as they looked around the loaded pantry.
"Goes fast."
"You can have a bag of corn, some tuna fish..."
"We said half. That's the deal. What's in there?" Rick asked, looking at a big heavy door.
"Don't open that." Oscar rushed to say.
As soon as Rick pulled it open, he was gagging as he closed it once again, the stench filling the air. Natalia plugged her nose with a gloved hand.
"He wanted to know" Tomas laughed.
"Can't wait for my own pot to piss in." Axel sighed.
"Alright, just grab stuff and let's get it back, alright?" Rick sighed, shaking his head.
The four of them, carried out the food to form a pile, the prisoners not bothering to help.
Natalia got down on her hands and knees as she reached to grab stuff from under the bottom shelf, when she stood back up, Tomas was stood right behind her.
"Enjoying the show, creep?" She rolled her eyes.
"Y'know, I've been stuck in here a long time, prison that is, and with the way the world is right now, I imagine you've been stuck as well."
"I don't know what you mean?"
"We could buddy up, I'm not shy from having a cell buddy, could have some fun, you help me out, I'll help you out, real good, back in my old cell, how bout that?" He asked, reaching up and grabbing her ass.
Natalia tugged at his arm, bending it as she shoved him on the ground, reaching for a knife as she held it between his eyes.
"Do not touch me" She said In a hushed voice.
"Nat." Rick said in a warning tone as he raised a hand at her, Daryl had his crossbow pointed at Tomas's head, T-Dog raised his gun at the other prisoners, who all threw their hands up in Surrender. "Nat, put it away, don't do it."
Natalia glared at the man with hate as he tried to keep his breathing normal.
"Natalia, put the knife away, now." Rick repeated.
"You ever touch me again, or dare speak to me like that, I swear to god, I will feed you to the roamers piece by piece, whilst keeping you alive as long as your body can survive, and you'll feel everything, understand?"
Tomas didn't answer.
"I said, do you understand" She trailed her knife along his cheek, drawing a tiny line of blood.
"Yes, I understand." He gritted through his teeth.
Natalia got back up, pocketing the knife as she kicked his body, before picking the food up off the floor from where she dropped it, shoving past Rick. "I told you we should've ended it before it could start."
"Let's just get this all back." T-Dog stated, putting his gun away as he patted Natalia's shoulder as she walked past him, too.

Author Weaseling their narratives.
I want to state this now before it leaves my brain, just a small penny of thought. After pages are uploaded and the Author not using a script. He will IMMEDITALTY try to cover up the holes and fix it the next pages or so. Then messes up continuity along those lines.
Tumblr media
Yes, cause that's better to wait it out then do anything at all. Ranach and Avanti can sneak in the territory during the night and wait to slaughter EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM. The territory of meteor is vast with minimum eyes, they can't keep watch for 24/7 simultaneously. Like for one, When the Avanti beast came into Home and everyone questioned why he didn't just kill the meteor tribe?? Kiq. made pages to answer the question to the audience, literally Him telling the audience why something is not logically going or going against what doesn't make sense - ya feel me??
Tumblr media
I would think knowing a family member dying, would pushed you to make sure your other family member is over their safe, you literally stated it to Rhovanion of them being an oppressive tribe and dangerous group. When Everyone questioned Why Roamer didn't go help Ronja and save her from a inbreeding, oppressing, Sexual assaulting, tribe instead of going swimming and hanging out in midnight guard. Kique had to make an excuse for it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CH. 13 PG 807 & 809 - Yes, let us give more justification for the tribe to easily state the capitol ' meteor is killing members left and right again' to have the matriarch to annihilate them on the spot. Good idea guys. Have majority of the Tribes' who hates meteor with tangible proof and track record to put more endangerment over Ronja's pups. I might as well left the group after that with Javo, Galti and Alva.
Another is when Roamer murdered bear dog and when people got hurt about that he tried to justify it and praise the Garystu characters. more so having Ronja not do anything cause Roamer literally been disobedient the moment he got separated from the pack and followed two strangers the beginning of Home. Also stopped people from commenting cause he didn't like people pointing it out. He did it before of killing dogs or shunning hem to Justify they are BAD , they are the VILLAINS when they're anything but that. Jonna. Kargo before his death. Fairikh. Ruan. Aira etc. Let me remind you that kique doesn't have a script, and when he does it's by volunteers before he burns the bridges with them and then back to square one again. He has a Patreon that the pages are ahead of the public, so he can produce pages to cover tracks before they present to the public. He already probably doing one now or has not made the pages to Justify the ' Golden ' Lioness to give a starting couple a child without consent. It's already bad when you have to prove what's morally wrong to be right or worse to romanticized it. What's sad the hybrid cubs will be brushed off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CH. 12 PG 738 & 739
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CH. 11 PG 607 & 608
Ronja's kids have been on the way-side and we have only have scenes when Roamer needs comfort involving when Rogio is NOT there or Ronja is involved to do parenting. If this is supposed to be just a slice of life type of comic, I would like to see something that pertains it and not dragged stupidity, and teenage drama on fully grown adults. Diarko now in the mix will be forgotten, cause his purpose was to save Rogio and Kargo. Now to be a child to 3 dogs that are NOT FIT TO BE PARENTS, NOR METEOR and he already has a mother. The author probably already has a page to Have his mother who has a high distrust of dogs and practically everyone else, leaving their only cub to a bunch of strangers. I don't need to look at the blur page of patreon to know he already has one, the repetitive pattern of evidence is on the Public pages on it's own will suffice. She's literally going to a decent tribe in the beaches so why not bring her son with him??!! where she knows they're Safe?? like that's not how mothers and maternity instincts work. The only reason Diarko stays is because the author wants his toxic, soon to be Poly to have a kid around and have them look good, a means to look like saints. It's very obvious its going to be poly, there is too many signs to show it and Rogio is that much of a possessive, manipulative prick to have Roamer and Kargo under his paws.
Tumblr media
He did it to Ranach,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CH. 7 PG 293 & CH. 9 356 - Yeah, its all Kargos fault despite Ferah and Rogio was there and kept the secret too. Plus Ferah is the one to start it , but since Kargo had a heart to be honest, he gets the short end of the stick and labeled a bastard. He did to Roamer...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trust me y'all there's a lot more of these of Ronja seeking Rogio for mostly everything. I guess Vandi, Kargo and Ferah don't hold much weight. Soon it'll be the Larpdog of Whispervale, cause Ronja can't think for herself as a leader. ...and Ronja might as well make Rogio a Leader cause she's laying it on him for everything even to the voice of reason. He's literally a Garystu with plot amour. How does everyone not know anything but Rogio does? I rather trust Vandi and Vigr over Rogio - heck take Shiverfall Eopi.Could easily take the trip their and bring Diarko along so he can visit his mother and not be forgotten.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shiverfall tribe is BIGGER then meteor, meteor literally did Nothing - NOTHING to show it's a safe place to be. Ronja, Roamer, Rogio, Kargo should know that, The mother is Blind - BLIND!! FOR PETE'S SAKE and it makes me so damn upset that she can't see it and the tribe is not going to tell her and put her only son in danger with a falling tribe. Because everyone is going to be happy and ' d'awww' of Diarko staying with the OTP3.
Tumblr media
Akleja already is also forgotten and just in the background in silence without knowing much of who they are as an individual, except they are Vandi's X Fuss's pup and were the first pup to be born free which should be a VERY BIG THING. You need more then just putting traits in Wiki cause a lot of the traits don't correlate to the Webcomic. He probably already doing and did pages to not make Feaf look bad and answer why Zahira and Raimos didn't have the kids. ----- He has done it countless times and has edited pages to Justify them under people's noses and they don't bat an eye of it.

A Second Chance Is A Better Chance - Part 11
Chapter Summary: You and Agatha come face to face.
Chapter Warnings: Witchcraft, gun violence. minor character death.
Elektra stepped out the van first, followed by you, Billy on your six, with Frank and Luke quick to join either sides.
Another two vans full of Frank’s extended pack members jumped out, all heavily armed and their scents full of anger. You heard Luke confirm all the other packs had their own units in place and Billy directing a small group of their own to get out those injured in the security box.
As you prepared to move out from where you were hidden from Agatha and the Hydra agents, Frank slipped his hand around your waist and squeezed softly just like he had the first day you’d met. You looked up at him your eyes still bright as your powers simmered.
“Be careful.”
You nodded as another familiar hand slipped around your waist and a kiss placed on your head.
“I know you won’t want to and you’re not gonna like it but I need you to let me handle Agatha. She doesn’t know me, she’ll have sensed me before, from Fiona’s, but that’s all. She’ll try and turn us against each other. Let me handle her. You have to let me handle her.”
Frank and Billy nodded. You were right, they wouldn’t like it but it was clear how strong you were and you had to take Agatha down and she needed to be stopped once and for all.
“That goes for all of you.” You said firmly. You weren’t stupid and you knew Elektra and Luke, as well as the extended pack would try and get involved if they thought you were in danger. There were more nods and confirmations of your instructions.
“Now let’s snap this bitch of a witch.”
Frank gave out instructions and positions to the pack and you watched as they scattered out, silent in their movements.
“She needs to see me Frank, the shock will give me the upper hand. She’s used to witches cowering from her.”
Frank nodded, he didn’t like it but again he knew you were right. He explained that he and the others would watch your six and deal with the Hydra rogues, whilst you dealt with Agatha. They were already outnumbering the rogues so you knew that wouldn’t take long, not with their skill set. The biggest battle would be between you and Agatha.
The rogues position varied. Some stayed near the vehicles they’d arrived in and some including Brock Rumlow were near Agatha as she tried and failed to get through your shield. Rumlow barked orders for it to be taken down so they could hide the hostages. One of them, an alpha with white blonde hair, that you quickly realised was more likely bleach, than him being a white wolf, had been heavily beaten and was more restrained than the others. They lay a few feet away from Rumlow’s feet as another Hydra rogue kept a gun on them.
You shuffled along behind some crates until Frank was happy with your position. When you stepped out you’d be right in front Agatha and at some point you’d have to step out of the shield to deal with her. But first, the wolf in you decided, you’d play with her and torment her just like she had to so many others. The wolf in you wanted to see the fear in her eyes. As you went to step out you were stopped by a pull on the witch wound. Fiona.
Put your cloak on you damn fool.
You huffed and pulled it out. Frank glanced over as you put it on. He’d never seen your cloak before, he didn’t even know you had one. Even at a glance, he was quick to notice the different coloured threads along the seams.
Billy let out a sigh of relief from his position. He knew cloaks were meant to give an element of protection but he’d never seen you with one and you’d never mentioned having one either. He’d thought about buying you one himself to apologise for the whole neck grabbing situation but the witch he’d spoken to, Hilda something, had said only witches gave other witches cloaks and he didn’t want to piss you off anymore than he already had.
A crackling of the shield snapped everyone’s attention to you as you rose from your hiding spot.
Agatha’s eyes snapped toward you as she lowered her hands momentarily, from where she’d tried and failed miserably to take down your shield. She tried to hide her worried expression with one of anger but you caught it, if only for a second.
“Let me in!” She growled at you and you snorted with laughter.
“No, I don’t think I will.” And you crackled the shield again as a show of strength.
She created a ball of fire in her hand a demonstration of her own powers and you smirked in reply.
“Let me in or I’ll burn down the town.”
“If anyone burns it’ll be you.” Came your reply. Your threat was clear. When one witch threatened another with burning this was only going to go one way.
Agatha seethed at your threat and the wind picked up around her. She maddened further when she saw just how unaffected you were. She created two large balls of fire in her hands and threw them at your shield.
“Let me in!” This time an alpha command.
Frank growled in response, but you didn’t flinch and the shield stayed in tact. Billy’s brow furrowed in confusion.
“I knew it.” Came Elektra’s whispered voice. Agatha’s alpha command had failed to work on you but all those months ago, Frank’s had.
Because not only were you a witch and a white wolf, you were also a True Luna. A secret you had kept since you were eighteen. A secret only you and your old Luna knew. Frank’s command that day you’d tried to get in his pants had only worked because he was a prime alpha, and your tipsy behaviour would have also had played its part. Your voice brought the attention back to you.
“Try again bitch!”
Agatha created bigger balls of fire and rose from the ground. Growling harshly as she floated above you, as close as she could without touching the shield.
“You don’t know who you’re dealing with Omega.”
The disdain for your presentation clear in her voice. You smirked and rose from the ground, so you were level with her.
“Nor do you.”
“Kill the hostages.” She ordered. The one guarding them raised his gun. Rumlow raised his hand to stop them.
“Agatha, we need them. We just need to bide our time until the boat gets here. Put them back in the van.”
“No! Kill them! Unless…..”
“Unless what?”
“Unless she hands herself over.”
A new voice entered the conversation. Frank. As he stepped out he gave you a look that told you to not even consider handing yourself over.
“That’s not happening.”
“Do you want that on your conscience little Omega?” Agatha asked ignore Frank’s presence, “these poor hostages will die because of you. Won’t that break your little omega heart to know that’s your fault?”
Your brow furrowed and you gulped hard. If she killed those hostages it would be on you. You lowered yourself to the ground.
“That’s what I thought. You might be able to avoid my commands but you, you’re an omega. Weak, pathetic, it’s sickening.” She growled as she lowered herself.
You dipped your head, slumping your shoulders, pushing shame and sadness through your scent and easing it through the shield towards Agatha.
“See!!” She called out, gesturing at you “they’re all the same! Powers are wasted on omegas.”
“You don’t know me” you sniffed, head still lowered, your hair partially covering your face.
“I don’t need to!!! You might be able to keep up a shield but you will fall just like the rest of them.”
“Is that why you’re scared? Because you can't get round my shield.” You replied quietly.
Agatha let out a choked sound.
“Scared? Of you? You’re insane.”
“Actually I’m not” you lifted your head a smirk on your face “I actually amazingly passed the mental health test at my last check up.”
Agatha looked at you confused. Weren’t you just crying?
“I bother you, don’t I Agatha? It bothers you that I’m an omega. It bothers you that for the second time I’ve kept you out of where you want to be. It bothers you that you can’t breakdown my shield and you and I both know why you can’t. It bothers you that I’m stronger than you. I saw you Agatha, I saw the worried look and the panic in your eyes before we got here. An omega witch that outranks you in every damn way possible and it scares you.”
“LIES!!!”
“Try and get in then.”
Agatha placed her palms as close to the shield as she could and pushed her powers into it. Shades of purple flashed up the side but failed to have an effect on your shield. She tried a second time growling as she did. You purposely wound her up more by looking at your watch.
“Are you done?” You asked.
“KILL THE HOSTAGES NOW!” she yelled in the direction of one of the beta guards, an Alpha command which he wouldn’t be able to avoid. He raised his gun and fired at them but you were quicker than he was.
You lifted the shield quickly as near as possible to where they had been thrown on the floor and used your powers to pull them through at speed. You knew from Billy’s position that he was best placed to handle the beta and you dipped to the right as Billy took a shot over your left shoulder, hitting the beta right between the eyes.
Agatha lunged towards where you’d moved the shield and let Billy’s bullet through, expecting a weak point. Rumlow and the other Hydra agents followed her lead and opened fire. Your shield remained intact as the bullets bounced off. Annoyed by Agatha’s attempt to get in you tossed her ten feet backwards into a shipping container.
“How? How is she doing this?” Yelled Rumlow as he signalled for his men to take cover, spotting Frank and Billy and the rest of the pack easing forward.
You watched as Agatha dragged herself towards Rumlow’s hiding spot beside one of the cars.
“Where is the damn boat Rumlow?”
“It’s five minutes out.”
“Well tell them to make it quicker.” Agatha used the car to pull herself from the ground.
You stayed firmly in place, never taking your eyes off her. Agatha scanned the shield for a weak spot but found none. She watched as Luke and another pack member moved the hostages out of her sight, as Elektra watched their six, and then she spotted it. A weak spot. Not in the shield but in the pack.
Billy’s eyes were trained on you as he covered you but they weren’t just the eyes of a team or pack mate watching out for someone. There was something else there, admiration, love maybe and whole lot of lust.
There were clearly other ways to take you down. All of you.
Comment to go on the taglist!!!

Just Beneath The Flames (Part 16)
Pairing: Billy Russo x Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: cursing, smut at some point probably lmao, zombie shit, typical canon violence. You know the drill.
A/N: Alright guys, this is the last chapter.
I’ll admit that I wasn’t planning on ending this story so soon and I feel pretty guilty, especially ending it without much warning. I know I’ll feel worse if I just leave it unfinished though. I’ve already got so many unfinished multi chapter fics that I haven’t gotten to finishing and people are always asking for updates. I know this way, I’ve at least wrapped it up a little so it’s not too bad. There’s always potential for me to come back to this story and add to it if I feel like it or if anyone had any ideas they wanted to throw at me to add in here.
I’m feeling a little burnt out with it if I’m honest. This story has been so fun to write and I’ve loved seeing so many of you love reading it, but for some reason, now my brain is having a really hard time with it. I have other stories I’ve started that have been itching at me so I figured it was best if I finish it off instead of forcing myself to continue and churn out shitty content.
The point of this rambling is to say that while this may be the ‘last’ chapter, I may go back to it at some point and do more so it’s not like 100% finished. And as I said, I’m welcome to ideas for it.
—-----------------
Day Fourteen
Your hand came up to stifle a yawn and you blinked tiredly as you walked beside Billy.
“If we go this way, we can get to the highway. It's worth a look,” he mused, looking over the map in his hands before he glanced over to you.
“Sounds good to me,” you smiled tiredly, rubbing your eyes a little. His concerned gaze swept over your face before he folded up the map, shoving it into his jacket pocket and wrapping an arm around your shoulder. Billy had decided to head to the highway instead of the original route planned, hopefully to find a car. You’d made it into Virginia now but it was a big place and you were still a while away. On foot, the journey would take you another few days but if you managed to find a car, you could cut it to just a few hours instead. You were pretty sure he’d decided on the new plan after seeing you shuffle around like one of the dead. It had only been two days since you left the cabin but traveling from sun up to sun down was really taking it out of you. You longed for the respite and safety of the tiny cabin. You missed sleeping beside him like that instead of the shifts taking watch like you had to do now, neither of you getting a full night sleep. It took almost an hour to get to the highway and it was very reminiscent of the one back by the old cabin. This one was smaller though and was slightly less jam-packed, a few of the dead stumbling around the derelict cars as they groaned.
“I've got them, you try the cars,” you murmured, giving Billy a wry smile before you headed off over to the roamers. You made quick work of them before you came back over to where Billy was trying to hotwire a car. If last time was anything to go by, you’d probably turn up with nothing. The cars weren't exactly in the best condition with the state they’d been left in and you had no idea if any of them still had gas left. You stood guard as Billy tried car after car, your knife poised and ready as you took care of any threats that came ambling your way so he could focus. The sound of an engine starting made your head whirl over to him as he sat up, climbing out of the car with a delighted laugh.
“Fuckin’ told you I’d do it,” he smirked as you walked over.
“Mhm, didn’t doubt you for a second,” you replied impishly and he snorted, leaning in to press a sweet kiss to your lips. It was something you were still trying to get used to yet it also felt like you’d done it a million times before.
“Come on,” he smiled down at you, pulling you over to the car. You slid into the passenger seat, your tired feet glad for the rest as he got into the driver’s side.
Your whole journey had been leading up to this moment, to finally see what awaited you at the safe house. You’d known what was at stake the entire time yet it felt far more real now as Billy drove there. You had no idea what you’d find. Maybe there wouldn't be anyone there at all or maybe the only person there was the person whose safe house it was. Or maybe some of the group would be there, others not making it. What if something happened to Sarah and the baby? What if something happened to the kids? The spike of anxiety hit you like a truck as you glared out of the window, trying to control your breathing. You weren’t even aware your leg was bobbing up and down restlessly until Billy’s hand reached over and stilled it. When you turned to him, he shot you a reassuring smile but you could see his own anxiety shining behind his dark eyes. Everything you were feeling, you knew he must be feeling tenfold. You’d grown to care for these people like family, but they were Billy’s family way before they were yours. You mustered your best smile for him, not wanting him to fuss over you when he must be feeling so much worse than you. The smile seemed to work as he seemed a little more relaxed before he turned back to the road.
“Hope they’ve got dinner goin’, I’m fuckin’ hungry,” he remarked ruefully and you knew he was trying to keep things light. Not wanting to touch on all the other scenarios that could happen when you got there.
“I did offer you some soup this morning,” you shrugged, giving him an amused look.
“Yeah, yeah,” he huffed playfully. You weren’t stupid though. He hadn’t eaten this morning and you knew he was anxious about all of this. You’d barely been able to eat yourself but you’d forced some soup down you because you knew you needed the energy.
“Why don’t you get some sleep?” he asked, giving you a soft look and you shook your head.
“Nah, I’m good,” you answered with a smile. You weren’t tired enough to sleep with your thoughts running so rampant and you didn’t want to leave Billy in silence on the drive there for a few hours. You knew nothing good would come of it. You tried to keep the drive light with conversion to keep both of your minds from wandering. You spoke about anything and everything. From stories from your time as a vet, to family stories that were more fun and lighthearted. Billy seemed content to listen and reply rather than tell any of his own tales but you had a feeling that most of his good memories were linked to the people you were trying to find so you didn’t mind him just listening to you. It was easy to talk to him and time seemed to fly by as he drove and before long, he was pulling down a dirt road through some trees.
“Should be at the end of this road,” he mused softly and you nodded, your whole body tightening in anticipation.
“Oh my god,” you murmured, sitting forward in your seat a little as your eyes widened. Billy seemed to be rendered speechless, not a smart-ass remark in sight. He pulled to a stop a little away as you both just gaped at what you could see.
The whole place was encompassed with large stone walls that were as tall as a house, barbed wire lining the top. There was a huge metal gate and what looked to be an intercom next to it. You couldn't see the building behind the walls but it looked more like a fortress than a safe house. It was way bigger than you thought it would be and at each corner of the walls, there were perch-like towers that would be perfect to take watch from or shoot if needed. You weren’t sure if the person who had this built was paranoid or maybe they had some inside knowledge of what was going to happen, but it sure as fuck seemed like it was perfect for a zombie apocalyspe. There even seemed to be what looked like wind turbines on either side. You both sat there for a moment as you looked at it before you both slipped out of the car. Billy walked around to you as you both slowly made your way up the dirt road, stopping a few feet away. You felt anxiety gnawing at you now it was go time and when you glanced over at Billy, his eyes were wide as they darted around. You didn’t want to push the intercom, knowing he needed to be the one to do it, he had to be ready.
“Guess it’s now or never, huh?” he asked, trying to smirk but it fell flat as his voice shook. You reached out and took his hand gently and he looked at you then, his face softening. “No matter what happens, I’m here,” you murmured soothingly. He blinked at you, a small smile toying on his lips as he gave your hand a squeeze. He looked back at the large metal gate then, taking a large shaky breath and rolling his shoulder. Once he’d steeled himself, he nodded, letting go of your hand as he made his way over to the intercom and pressed it, you hot on his heels.
“Anyone here?” he asked carefully but he was only met with silence.
“Frankie… if you’re in there, it’s Billy. I’m with Y/N… We… We made it,” he added, a desperate edge to his voice that had your stomach twisting in knots. Loud buzzing suddenly hit your ears and Billy stepped back quickly, grabbing your wrist and pulling you with him before he pushed you behind him slightly as if to protect you. The large metal gate started to open but before you had a chance to even try and observe the building or what was going on inside, Frank came barreling out and grabbed Billy so tight, he almost knocked him right off his feet. They clutched each other and you felt your eyes prick with tears, a smile on your face that had your cheeks hurting. Frank was muttering something but you couldn't make it out through his tears as they both cried. You were so wrapped up in the emotion of their moment, you didn’t even notice Karen until she was inches away from you and you were then engulfed in a tight hug.
“Oh my god, you made it,” she breathed, squeezing you hard as you hugged her back and allowed your tears to fall. The relief you felt was palpable. She moved away, a bright smile on her tearful face as she wiped her eyes. She turned to look at Billy then as he and Frank finally separated and she rushed over to him, grabbing him in a hug.
“Bring it in, Y/N,” Frank smiled widely as he approached you with his arms open wide. You hugged him and his arms came around you. It was the tightest hug the man had given you yet and you could feel him shaking as he held you.
“I’m so glad you made it. We all thought… After you walkied Bill and you were hurt…” he trailed off, holding you tighter for a moment before he let you go.
“It’s okay, Frank,” you murmured as you wiped your eyes with your sleeves. You were just relieved to see them.
“Everyone else… Are they…?” Billy asked, damp eyes darting from Karen to Frank.
“They’re okay, we all made it out,” Frank answered quickly, as if to ease his worries. You physically saw the stress leave Billy’s body as his shoulder sagged in relief, his lower lip trembling as he smiled and nodded.
“Bill… I didn’t mean to leave you back there, I-” Frank started, a deep frown on his face but Billy shook his head.
“It’s alright, Frankie,” Billy cut him off.
“No, It’s not,” Frank argued and Karen carefully rested a hand on Frank’s arm and made him look at her.
“Honey, they’d been through a lot, okay? Let them come in, see the others. You can explain after,” she suggested carefully. Frank looked from her to Billy, nodding reluctantly but he looked like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.
“Come on, you guys should see this place. It’s pretty amazing,” Karen smiled at you and Billy. When you looked over at Billy, he gave you such a genuine smile it made your chest ache and he took your hand, lacing his fingers with yours as Karen and Frank led you inside the gate.
You really couldn’t get over this place. The building itself was made from the same stone as the walls and looked to be two stories high. It was much bigger than you thought it would be but there was outside space all around it too. To the left there were rows and rows of crop plots, some of them already having things growing in them. You were startled to hear the sound of clucking and when you looked over behind the crop plots, you noticed a hen house. There were large solar panels off to the right of the building in a line along the walls as well as the turbines you’d seen from outside. When you stepped inside the building, your eyes swept around. It was a lot more homely than you’d expected inside with a large wooden staircase to the back of the building. There was a large living area with a fire and a huge kitchen off to the left with an island. It all looked modern and high tech. There were a few doors and Karen informed you one was to a basement that was stocked full of food, with Frank happily telling Billy it was also full of weapons and ammo too. Karen explained there were a bunch of bedrooms upstairs and a couple of working bathrooms. The place had working water and even its own sewer system. It was like the cabin but better. It was overwhelming being reunited with everyone and not one person had a dry eye as they all hugged you and Billy. It became clear after seeing everyone that while everyone seemed to think Billy would turn up one day, everyone had thought you were dead, not that you could blame them. You were just relieved they were all here and okay, you could hardly believe it. Before long, Frank and Karen had taken you and Billy over to the large dining table near the kitchen. You and Billy sat at one side, Frank and Karen at the other and Billy grabbed your hand, pulling it onto his lap as he held it tightly.
“I’m sorry,” Frank said firmly, giving Billy a pointed look.
“Frank-” Billy started with a frown but Frank held his hand up.
“I shouldn’t have left you behind, man,” he lamented, shaking his head.
“You didn’t leave me behind. You kept tellin’ me to fall back and I didn’t listen. That ain’t on you,” Billy argued.
“Everything was just… hectic. We got out but… but Matt and Karen were shot,” Frank explained. Your eyes snapped to Karen then who smiled ruefully and you felt Billy’s hand tighten around your own.
“I'm part of the cool kids club now,” she remarked wryly and Frank gave her a look.
“Micro was driving the truck, Sarah and the kids up front. Me, Curt and Foggy were in the bed, tryin’ to help Karen and Matt. Micro thought you were there too and he just took off, tryin’ to get us safe. Before I knew what happened, we were already halfway to Virginia,” Frank muttered, guilt coating his tone.
“He almost murdered Micro when he found out, Curtis had to drag him off him,” Karen murmured.
“I just… I didn’t know what to do. We were already so far out and we needed to get Karen and Matt somewhere safe, to patch ‘em up better. So we came out here,” Frank frowned deeply.
“It was the right call,” Billy insisted.
“Once I knew Karen was okay, I wanted to head out and find you, but Karen told me to stay put,” Frank admitted, shaking his head.
“I knew you’d find us here. If felt pointless him going out there, you’d just be missing each other,” she explained softly as she looked at Billy.
“It’s a good job you didn’t come back for me. Who knows what woulda happened, I might not have found Y/N and we’d all still be thinkin’ she was dead and she’d be out there all alone,” Billy muttered gravely and the thought stabbed you right in the chest. You didn’t want to think about the what ifs because they were pointless and the other reality was honestly terrifying. You weren’t sure what you would have done if you hadn’t found Billy that day.
“See, it all worked out in the end,” Karen smiled, giving Frank a meaningful look. She looked like she’d had this conversation already with him, trying to ease the guilt he felt at leaving Billy behind. He was a lot like Billy in that way, carrying heaps of guilt he shouldn't be feeling.
“I guess it did,” Frank murmured, finally smiling as he looked between you and Billy. There was a look in his eyes that told you he’d already picked up in the shift with the pair of you but luckily he didn’t press it. You were just happy to be with everyone, happy they were safe and here.
You wound up having dinner with everyone, you and Billy glued to each other’s sides as the kids wanted to know exactly how the ‘epic journey’ for you and Billy had gone and he regaled them with the tale as if it was from a storybook. While you'd tried to stay positive, mostly for Billy’s sake, you really had thought you’d have some bad news coming here and you couldn’t believe your luck to find none here. You’d finally caught a break and it was a fucking big one. You felt emotionally drained after the whole thing and by the time Billy was leading you up to a room he’d picked out for the both of you, you felt ready to sleep for a week.
“This is a pretty nice set up,” Billy mused as you walked into the bedroom. It was a decent size with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
“I know. This place is amazing, I really feel like we have a chance at a normal life here,” you replied as you looked around and put the spare clothes on the bed that Karen had given to you and Billy. Billy pulled you over to him and you smiled up at him before he kissed you. When he pulled away, he kissed the tip of your nose.
“You okay?” you asked him as you ran your hands up his chest.
“Yeah. This whole thing’s just taken it out of me, can’t wait to get some rest,” he grinned ruefully.
“I feel that,” you snorted. A big part of you wanted to make the most of the working showers you had here but with the day you’d both had, you wound up changing into pajamas, the notion feeling wildly absurd, before you both slipped into bed. You both lay facing each other, your hand on his chest with your legs tangled with each other’s and his arm was around you, fingers drawing circles on your lower back.
“Thank you,” he murmured tiredly.
“For what?” you asked softly. He gave you a soft smile that made your heart feel like it skipped a few beats and you really couldn't believe how lucky you were.
“For bein’ you,” he answered simply, eyes crinkling a little and you snorted with a roll of your eyes.
“I mean it. You’re one of the most amazin’ people I’ve ever met. You’ve been my rock through all this shit. I don’t know how I woulda got through this without you,” he admitted earnestly and it made you smile.
“You’re pretty amazing too, Mr Russo,” you replied sleepily, leaning over to place a kiss to his lips.
“I love you,” he murmured against your lips, his hand moving to stroke your face.
“I love you too,” you answered easily, unable to help the smile on your face.
Eight Months Later
“Y/N, look!” Zach beamed as he ran over to where you were grabbing some potatoes and putting them into a basket. Karen had requested them for the dinner she was making.
“That’s awesome, Zach. How many did you get?” you asked with a smile, seeing him with his own basket full of eggs.
“Five. That’ll be enough, right?” he asked, eyes bright as he shifted on his feet.
“I’m sure that’s more than enough. You should go and give them to Karen,” you grinned at him, watching as he practically skipped off to the house. He loved those chickens more than anything and he’d taken the role of being the one to look after them and get the eggs when they laid. He seemed to enjoy having a job to do. You stood up, dusting off your jeans and jumped when you felt two hands grab your hips.
“Well, if it ain’t farmer Y/N,” Billy smirked into your ear, making you snort before you turned around. Your eyes dipped to the baby strapped to his chest, a wry smile tugging at your lips.
“You on baby duty?” you asked looking amused and he shrugged, a hand coming to cradle the baby’s small head.
“Figured Sarah and Micro could use the break,” he answered with a smile. Micro had been adamant on naming the baby William after Billy and you were sure it had something to do with how guilty he felt over being the one to leave Billy behind all those months ago. Nevertheless, Billy was stupidly smug about the whole thing. Delivering William had been terrifying but the safe house had a bunch of medical equipment. Curtis had taken the lead with you assisting, and thankfully, the birth had gone without any issues and both mother and baby had been perfectly fine.
“Anyone would think you're trying to steal him with how much time you spend with him,” you snorted softly, giving him an impish look. Sarah loved to joke about how Billy was trying to steal the baby away, to turn him into a mini Russo. You’d never expected Billy to be a baby person but he absolutely loved spending time with the little boy.
“Don’t listen to her, buddy. Aunt Y/N’s just mean to me,” he pouted playfully and you grinned as you shook your head, grabbing the basket with potatoes and carrots in.
“What time do you wanna head out?” you asked as he walked with you back to the house.
“Maybe like an hour?” Billy suggested, his hand darting out and lacing with your free hand.
“Sounds good to me,” you smiled. He used the hold on your hand to tug you to him but to the side a little so you didn’t squash the baby, kissing you softly. You parted ways when you got inside as you went to give Karen the goods before you got ready. You and Billy made a habit of going out hunting every few days even though you really didn’t need to right now. You had a lot of food in the basement but you both didn’t like feeling cooped up and it was nice to get out just the both of you. Billy liked to call them dates. Life here was surprisingly easy and it all worked like a well-oiled machine. You never thought in your wildest dreams you’d have some place like this during the end of the world but you were glad you found it. You thought back to all that time ago, when you were starving and desperate and came across Frank and Billy’s camp. It had all started with that group of assholes who had slit your throat and left you for dead. It was strange how things worked out, how it rippled like that. If that had never happened to you, you’d never have been scared to go to the stores to get food, you’d never have been desperate enough to try and rob Billy’s camp. You’d never have met your new family and never have met Billy. The scar that had once been a reminder of something awful and traumatic was a symbol of hope for you now. It was the beginning of your new life, the one you’d made with Billy. Every shitty thing you’d ever been through had led you to this moment and while you were sad your brother wasn’t here with you to enjoy a place like this, you knew that wherever he was, he’d be looking down at you happy that you finally found some peace. For once you were forced to finally realize that good things can last in this new world.
