Hi. Hi. Sorry. I seem to have set the cat spray thing to… to jet stream or something. Oh, did you? I hadn't noticed. So… So. So, Veggie's back then? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It doesn't mean that, uh… I actually just don't know what anything really means right now. Yeah. Yeah. Why did you come? I wanted to say… whatever happens, I'll be here. You came all the way here just to tell me that? Well… I, uh… Yeah. Okay. Bye, Lisa. Bye, Danny.

Vargskelethor, Craig Cairns Robert Cop (Remake) Skeleton Metal X (2023)
I don't know how they managed it, but this version of Robert Cop is actually intensely more awesome than the original track!! Craig Cairns' vocals add so darn much to this amazing track!

Rookie Critic's Film Review Weekend Wrap-Up - Weeks of 5/8-5/14/2023 & 5/15-5/21/2023
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My apologies for the review interruption over the past couple of weeks. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came out and that has taken up all of my free time. HOWEVER, I have still be watching movies like normal, so here's a slightly condensed Weekend Wrap-Up for ya.
Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. (2023, dir. Kelly Fremon Craig) This was wonderful. I already wrote a full review on it, so I won't gush any more about it here, but I have literally 0 complaints. Just a beautiful, fun, and heartfelt look at pre-adolescence and motherhood. A good time for all ages.
Score: 10/10
Only in theaters. You can read my full review of Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. here.
Hypnotic (2023, dir. Robert Rodriguez) Robert Rodriguez sure knows how to write twists and turns in a plot. The directions that Hypnotic's story goes in were pleasantly unpredictable and exciting. Sadly, the film overall is very tonally uneven. It's got traces of Rodriguez's signature camp, but they're just that, traces. The movie as a whole tries to play itself a little more seriously than a plot this crazy requires, and it ends up overshooting the entertainment value into territory that feels a little disingenuous. Ben Affleck and William Fichtner, who really needs to be in more stuff, were both high points of the film, and the color correction on certain aspects of the movie felt really inspired. Rodriguez got the the look down to a T, I just don't think he quite stuck the landing.
Score: 6/10
Only in theaters.
BlackBerry (2023, dir. Matt Johnson) What an unexpected masterpiece of comedic historical dramatization, this was. The comedy was excellent, the acting was excellent, the stylizes cinematography was excellent. Everything about this film was engaging, fun, and satisfying. It's also, as a side-effect, incredibly informative. I haven't done the research into fact vs. fiction on this one, but if even half of the stuff that happened in this was true, what an absolute farce history of Research in Motion and the BlackBerry was, and I mean that in the most grateful, loving way possible. We wouldn't be where we are today without this little device, and as much of a clusterfuck as the history of it's existence seems to be, I'm glad we're here. This is easily one of the best things I've seen so far this year, and so far it seems to be flying severely under the radar. If you have a theater near you that's showing this, do yourself a favor and catch a screening of it and BUCKLE UP for a wild fun ride.
Score: 10/10
Only theaters. Plus, @prozdvoices was in it, which really makes it an 11/10.
Fool's Paradise (2023, dir. Charlie Day) I wanted this to be so great. I absolutely adore Charlie Day and when I heard he would be directing his first feature film with the cast that this movie has I got so excited. To its credit, the first half of the film is genuinely hilarious, an homage to Keaton/Chaplin-era physical comedy while exhibiting the beginnings of a biting satire on Hollywood, but somewhere in the middle of it all Day's script looses its footing and never really gets it back. The slapstick goes out the window, the comedy stops being funny and trades that in for bewildering, and the conclusion to it all ends up being wholly unsatisfying and, honestly, made the whole thing feel like a waste of time. If the second half had been anywhere near as good as the first, this would be a very different review, but it wasn't, so here we are. Better luck on the sophomore feature, Day.
Score: 4/10
Only in theaters.
Fast X (2023, dir. Louis Leterrier) I really don't understand the poor reviews this one is getting if other entries in this franchise have been well received. It's not without it's issues, as most of the FF films aren't, but it is still one helluva ride. I will say probably my biggest complaint with this one is that some of it just looks.... odd. Like the CG is whatever, I'm down with the shitty CG in these movies at this point, that's just part of the Fast & Furious charm, but there are shots that just look strange. I'm not really sure how to put it, like the foreground is at one FPS and the background is at another. Just very uncanny valley. It gives the film a look and feel to it that's unlike any of the other films, and in that way I wasn't a huge fan. That being said, the crazy car action is second-to-none and nearly non-stop, and the script handles the Family being split up for most of the film way better than past installments have with that same setup. This will most likely be my full-length come Wednesday, so I'll leave it there for now, but just know that, if you like this franchise, Fast X is going to give you everything you've come to love about it and expect from it.
Score: 7/10
Only in theaters.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie - (2022, dir. Andy Suriano & Ant Ward) This was watched as part of my college friend group's movie nights at the request of a friend whose birthday was coming up. I've never seen the show and don't really know anything about it past what I've been told by said friend and just my general TMNT knowledge (although this iteration of the heroes in a half-shell is very different than what most people would be used to). It was genuinely wonderful. The animation was spectacularly breathtaking (seriously, I can't hype up how gorgeously animated this film is), and the story, as Days of Future Past-y as it was, felt very fresh. The personalities of the Turtles are different from the original, but it's all a very welcome change. Raphael and Leonardo are practically flipped, with Raph taking on the "big brother" role that's normally occupied by Leo and Leo taking on the "aloof and antagonistic" role that's normally occupied by Raph. Donatello is more or less the same, a genius idiosyncratic inventor, but in this version he canonically has autism, which is represented well and the laughs that come from his character are never at the expense of his disorder. Similarly, Michelangelo is basically the same as his original counterpart (even moreso than Donnie), but in this story he canonically has ADHD. All of their clashing personality types meld together so well, and the chemistry between them is even more infectious, I would say, than the original versions of the characters. They could not have nailed what makes the central four brothers work, while also giving audiences a entirely new central four at the same time, than they did. As far as the villain of the film goes, the way the Kraang (who are depicted here as an entire race of creatures) are represented here is truly unsettling and almost in a Cronenberg/Lynch vein that I absolutely loved. RotTMNT: The Movie drops in you into its world, doesn't mince words, and gets you out of there in a cool 86 minutes, and it was a stellar time. I will, without question, be checking out the show as a result. If you're the kind of TMNT fan that's receptive and open to different takes on this world and these characters, then you'll love this.
Score: 8/10
Currently streaming on Netflix.
STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie (2023, dir. Davis Guggenheim) This has got to be one of the most unique and intriguing documentaries I've ever seen. The way Fox's story is told here is stunning, using a mix of modern narration, dramatic re-enactment, and archival footage (acting as both legitimate archival footage and as a narrative device at separate times) to accent and highlight the actor's life in the most poignant, striking way possible. Fox himself has such an electric personality it's hard not to fall in love with him over the course of the film's 95 minutes (that is, of course, if you weren't already in love him before). I read somewhere that there's nothing particularly revelatory about STILL, but I beg to differ. I'll admit, showing the portrait of a man's life who had it all, had taken the world by storm and was running away with it, only to be knocked down in his prime by something wholly out of control isn't anything too new. However, what makes STILL work, and what sets it apart, is that the story doesn't stop there. Fox refuses to give up. He's not fooling himself at the reality of his situation with Parkinson's, but he remains hopeful, he remains vivid, and he remains electric. Fox refuses to quit, to back down from his life, and is actively maintaining any control he can still have over it. It's inspiring and heartbreaking all at the same time, one never replacing the other, both coexisting in every moment, and that's not a particularly easy thing to pull off. I was quite taken by this, and urge all with access to check it out.
Score: 10/10

The Anti-white, Anti-British UK police commissioner now Threatens Elon Musk with extradition and imprisonment
British Police Commissioner Declares Extra-territoriality of UK Law
Paul Craig Roberts
Washington’s practice of declaring the extra-territoriality of its laws has spread to the UK. The woke white British commissioner of police threatens to extradite American citizens from the US for exercising their free speech rights and jailing them in the UK for violating UK rules about political speech that criminalize protests against immigrant invasion as a hate crime.
“We will throw the full force of the law at people. And whether you’re in this country committing crimes on the streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will come after you,” Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley told Sky News on Friday.
Asked whether the Metropolitan Police planned on charging people posting on social media from other countries, Rowley replied: “Being a keyboard warrior does not make you safe from the law,” and named “the likes of Elon Musk” as potential targets for investigation. https://www.rt.com/news/602420-elon-musk-hate-speech/
According to the police commissioner it is not immigrant-invaders stirring up hate by murdering young white children, it is the people who protest or permit people to protest via social media, such as Elon Musk who keeps X open instead of using it as a censor for the British police commissioner.
What every white person in the Western world needs to understand is that your governments hate you and intend to destroy you. White people have no greater enemies than their own governments. “Their” governments have already marginalized them in their own countries. In the UK the police response to the murder of three little white girls and stabbings of many others is to go after the protesters.

author’s note: the title is absolutely from invisible string by taylor swift. go give it a listen! :)

There’s been a strange amount of tension between Robert and you recently. The two of you have always had a strange sort of tension between you, but within the past few weeks, it’s been almost unbearable. You swear that Robert’s gazes are turning infinitely more focused and heated—a notion you hadn’t thought to be possible.
Amanda has been away at college for a little over two years now. She loves the college life and, as much as you miss having her around, it’s amazing to see her flourishing at school. She even had a photography exhibit of her own work this past month—something that you flew all the way to Home Institute for the Arts to see. You're immensely proud of her; She’s grown up so fast.
Meanwhile, you’ve been going about your life back in Maple Bay. Things are about the same as they were two years ago. Thankfully, you’re far more accustomed to the neighborhood now. You can’t help but feel grateful as you reflect back on the leap of faith that drove you to move to Maple Bay. You hardly knew anything about the area—just that the house would be great. It’s crazy to think about how many new friends you’ve made in your neighborhood and, hell, just on your cul-de-sac.
Robert is probably the dad you’re the closest with, in your curious little group of fathers. The two of you met at Jim and Kim’s, when you’d been looking for an excuse to leave Amanda and her friends to their sleepover at your house. Your first meeting had been a little strange, but, then again, most good things are. You remember what you had thought of Robert at the time: handsome, mysterious, alluring. All of those things still apply, of course, but you’re starting to unravel the mystery of the rugged man.
You hadn’t seen a lot of Robert after your nighttime conversation about his regrets in life, his desires to be a better person. You didn’t want to force your presence onto him when he was in such a trying time, so you forced yourself to be content with the rare, spontaneous late-night texts from him. As Robert focused on himself, you decided to get to know the other fathers a little better. Before long, you’re meeting up with Mat every week at his coffee shop, helping him test products and brainstorm ideas. Hugo, Damien, Joseph, and you start weekly book-club meetings, which are really just an excuse for Hugo to rant about his students. Brian and you will occasionally meet up and hang out (read: brag about your daughters) on weekends. Craig will drag you out of bed for a morning run sometimes. Robert never quite slips from your mind, but you’re able to distract yourself pretty well. You resist the compelling urge to send him a message on DadBook and ask after his wellbeing. He’ll be fine.
Indeed, Robert is entirely fine. After your somewhat flimsy level of contact for a year and a half, he breaks his silence and asks you to meet him at Jim and Kim’s one night. You reply almost instantly and agree. The ensuing minutes are comprised of you throwing on a million different outfits. Nothing feels quite right. Eventually, you settle on a midnight blue sweater—Amanda’s present to you at the holidays—and jeans. Your daughter isn’t here to make fun of your panic, but you can hear her teasing you in your head regardless.
When you walk into Jim and Kim’s, you’re unsurprised to find Robert sitting off to the side in a booth. Mary sits across from him. You head over to the table and say hello, hesitating for a moment as you stare at the booth. Where should you sit? Mary solves that problem for you, as she slides over and pats the seat next to her. You roll your eyes lightheartedly and sit down, pretending not to notice Robert’s burning gaze.
It’s nice to talk to Robert again. Hell, it’s nice to talk to Mary too. Then again, she seems to be pretty tipsy right now. She’s swaying in her seat, a strange haze in her eyes. Robert doesn’t seem to be concerned about her. You aren’t worried either—Mary has proven countless times that she can hold her liquor. The three of you talk through the night. Mary retells the story about those infamous pot brownies she found someone making and you laugh far louder than you should. Robert’s eyes twinkle and he hides his mouth behind his hand, evidently amused.
The three of you have another round of drinks. Mary downs her whiskey in one go, prompting you to raise your eyebrows at her. She doesn’t seem to notice your surprise, as she continues discussing something with Robert. Their conversation ends a few minutes later and, to your surprise, Mary’s gaze is now focused on you.
There’s a strange gleam in the woman’s eyes. It almost looks hungry.  You haven't been on the receiving end of that gaze since the night you first met. Dread coils in your chest. Mary leans impossibly closer, very nearly causing you to fall out of the booth. You grip the table for support. Just as Mary’s eyes begin to gleam, she’s interrupted.
“Mary,” Robert warns, a murderous expression on his face for reasons you can’t quite discern. Mary blinks at him and her gaze immediately sharpens. A smirk rises on her face. You don’t know what that could possibly mean, but you get the feeling that Robert knows, because he glares at her in return.
“I see how it is,” Mary remarks lightly, not at all threatened by Robert’s pointed glare. “Slide over, hon. Time to find my next victim...” You get up obediently, allowing Mary to rise out of her seat at the booth and walk away. She sends a wave over her shoulder. You huff out a laugh upon noticing that, within these few moments, she already has some poor sap ensnared. You turn back to Robert, fully intending to crack a joke, only to notice that he’s entirely silent. It isn’t his normal type of silence—there’s a troubled expression on his face as he stares at where Mary had just been sitting.
“Robert?” Robert promptly breaks out of his reverie. His gaze returns to you once more. It takes all your willpower not to wilt under his commanding stare. For a long moment, neither of you say anything. You move to sit down, but Robert instead slams a hand on the table and gets to his feet.
“I’m done with this.” You don't get the chance to ask him just what that means, before he’s grabbing your wrist and yanking you to follow behind him. His grip is loose and despite your rising adrenaline, you decide to go with him anyway. Robert steers you out of Jim and Kim’s with a singleminded determination. He turns on his heel and walks into the narrow alleyway between the bar and the building next to it. Quick as lightning, Robert pushes you into the brick wall behind you. His hands are on your shoulders and he takes a deep breath, looking down to the ground for a moment.
“Robert...” You breathe, your heart hammering in your chest. You don’t know what to say, so you keep quiet.
“I’ve spent these past few years trying to become a better person,” Robert begins, an unreadable expression on his face. His fingers twitch as he grips your shoulders. “I made up with Val, I curbed the unhealthy drinking habits... I’ve done everything I could to become that better person that I knew I could be.” There’s a long pause of silence. Having long familiarized yourself with Robert’s aptitude for silence, you decide to let it go.
“I don’t loathe myself,” Robert remarks, his eyes flitting about your face. There’s something significant in the pause that he takes before continuing to speak. You’re suddenly brutally aware of his proximity—the musky scent of his cologne, the strange gleam in his eyes. “Not anymore.”
“Robert, that’s-” You try to say, but he cuts you off.
“Even so, there's been something off,” Robert says, his eyebrows furrowing. “That conversation we had two years ago has been constantly running through my head.” You blink at Robert in disbelief, completely thrown by his uncharacteristic honesty.
Admittedly, the conversation from two years ago has been weighing on your mind too. You think back to the exchanged promises under the pink petals of the cherry blossom tree in your yard. Robert asserted that he wanted to become the person you deserved. You had pulled him in for a hug and reassured him.
“I wanted to see-” Robert says, breaking you out of your thoughts. He shakes his head for a moment. It’s clear that being this verbose is taking a toll on him. You put a hand on his shoulder for a moment and the man pinches the bridge of his nose. “-if I still have that chance.” The statement isn’t a question, but Robert raises his eyebrows at you and waits for an answer. You meet his eyes and nod.
You’re pretty sure you understand what he’s alluding to, but you could be wrong. Robert isn’t making any movements, instead deigning to stare at you in the dimly lit alleyway. For several seconds, the two of you are entirely still. Just as you’re about to ask for clarification, Robert presses you into the wall and kisses you. His hands slip from your shoulders down to your waist and you loop your arms around his neck, earning you a satisfied noise from Robert.
Just as soon as the kiss begins, Robert is breaking away from you. You look at him in confusion, admittedly feeling a bit of whiplash. The man doesn’t let you stew in your confusion for very long, however, as his head falls and he nips at your collarbone. You let out a strangled breath and tangle your fingers in his hair.
This exchange is giving you deja vu. You remember your night at Robert’s two years ago, the devastated look in his eyes even as he ran his hands up your skin. There’s no trace of that misery or grief in his expression now. Robert seems more confident now. He had been confident before, but this time, it seems different. He seems more assured of himself.
Before long, your lips meet again and you smile.

2000 Followers Celebration!!!
& Fallout Alphabet Poll End Results!
Hey all, so the secret is out! (Kinda) But all these past polls have been the prelude to my 2K Followers Celebration BONANZA. (That's not the official title, I just wanted to use the word BONANZA).
Anyway, a HUGE, MASSIVE thank you to every single one of you folks who are a part of this little community and who've supported me and my fanfiction writing journey for the past few years (which is crazy that it's been that long, omg.) But I love and appreciate you all SO MUCH and am absolutely baffled that I've made it to this. I thought 100 was crazy, then I thought 1K was crazy and then it just kept on going! Ahh, I'm just so so so glad that there's a thriving Fallout community out here of amazing writers, artists, and fans that are still so involved 😊
I don't know what I would do without this space, so thank you all for being a part of it <3
ANYWAY (x2) Here are the final results to all 22 polls that I posted, with more event details just below!
So I've posted the 1st place winners, 2nd place, and then a 3rd "runner up" position that will only be filled by non-companion npcs, just to give them a chance to shine, and me a chance to write for some folks I'm not as used to. For the purposes of the 2k event, I will only be using the 1st place winners for the 'prompts' (which I'll explain in another post), and then a few of the 2nd placers and (almost) all of the runner ups will be used in ANOTHER upcoming event that I'm going to start prepping for (because I'm an insane person).

Treason' Proves There’s More to Charlie Cox Than 'Daredevil'
By Kelcie Mattson   January 12, 2023 (X)
The actor beloved for 'Daredevil' has much more to offer the world, especially in Netflix's 'Treason.'
Tumblr media
If there’s one thing most Marvel fans can agree on, it’s the impeccable casting of Charlie Cox as Daredevil/Matt Murdock. Like Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman before him, few actors have better inhabited the tormented skin of their superhero counterpart. But Cox was already establishing himself as an acting force to be reckoned with prior to 2015's Daredevil, leaving a trail of memorable performances that culminated in his ongoing MCU role. Five years after Daredevil's cancelation, Cox returned as a Netflix leading man for the service's new original series, Treason. The role of Adam Lawrence, an MI6 agent devoted to protecting his country and family yet harboring the weight of past indiscretions, proves an ideal vehicle for Cox's defining traits as an actor and cements him as more than just a guy in a red devil suit.
What Is 'Treason' About?
Tumblr media
Treason is a non-stop espionage thrill ride reminiscent of the BBC classic Spooks, The Night Manager, and Daniel Craig's era of James Bond. After Russian spy Kara (Olga Kurylenko) poisons the head of MI6 (Ciarán Hinds), second-in-command Lawrence is thrust into the intelligence agency's leadership vacuum. And it comes with no shortage of expectations, as Lawrence must balance being Britain's first line of defense with juggling the politics of jealous colleagues, managing a CIA investigation into his loyalties, keeping his wife and children safe, and stopping Kara from using their old love affair to blackmail him.
As Treason's Lawrence, Cox funnels the individual qualities that make him a compelling figure into one role, particularly his earnestness, ferocity, delicacy, and ability to walk the fine line between a good man with noble intentions and a flawed human with ongoing failures. When Treason opens, Lawrence's life is idyllic: a devoted wife, two children, a cushy job, even a fancy house. Cox's performance, naturally, reflects this; Lawrence is relaxed and assured whether he's visiting with his son's classmates or issuing severe orders to his staff. His relationship with his wife Maddy (Oona Chaplin) is tender, and he's playful with his kids. That security quickly falls apart as his past indiscretions catch up with him. The revelation that Kara has secretly engineered his lucrative career, which raises the CIA's suspicions about his allegiances and invites personal betrayal, leaves Lawrence fearful and flailing in the wind. He has no choice except to clear his name, expose the true traitor, and protect those he loves.
Cox Brings Emotional Maturity to His Roles
Tumblr media
No matter the character or the size of his part, Cox brings emotional maturity to the material. An inherent commitment simmers beneath his body language and expressions, a sense that the actor is reaching deep to find his character's truth and performing with all he has. There's no half-assing it with Cox, at least on the surface. In Daredevil, his resolute and angry tension allows for no doubt concerning Matt's passion for protecting the helpless and redeeming his home, nor the depths of his barely restrained rage. And despite Lawrence's questionable actions in Treason, if the audience is meant to question his devotion to king and country, Cox's natural sincerity makes Lawrence's ultimate integrity a foregone conclusion. He's too good of a person when and where it counts.
This is best exemplified in relation to Lawrence's family. Adam isn't the type to sacrifice his loved ones for the greater good. Rather, he prioritizes them so highly that he commits treason to rescue his kidnapped daughter Ella (Beau Gadsdon). With her life at risk, he can't focus on the larger threat even though he's leading MI6. He keeps secrets from his wife out of shame, fidgeting and staring agitatedly into the middle distance. When he begs Maddy to understand that his love for her has never wavered and his secrets stem from guilt, all of that earlier intensity transforms into something quieter if no less vehement. It's an earnestness rooted in a gentle and steadfast love like Matt Murdock's encounters with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) or Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson).
The same energy applies when Lawrence reunites with his daughter or reassures his frightened son Callum (Samuel Leakey). Cox rarely raises his voice in Treason and doesn't need to. The thrumming energy in his physicality says enough. As a character, Lawrence feels lived-in despite Treason's fast-paced plot, and Cox demonstrating those consistent characteristics sets him apart as a believable and adept actor.
Taken in the context of his past roles, that easy truthfulness isn't a surprise. Daredevil could be a ludicrous series in different hands, but Cox contributes to its grounded style by never overacting while still rising to the emotional level a scene requires. Whether it's questioning his lifelong faith or fighting an array of evil ninjas, Murdock's pain is visceral in every punch and broken rib, as is his repeated heartbreak. Hatred, remorse, and love echo off the screen and transfer naturally into applicable instances in Treason.
'Boardwalk Empire' Was a Breakout Role For Cox
Tumblr media
Take HBO's Boardwalk Empire, where Cox portrays IRA member Owen Sleater, the right-hand man to main character and criminal Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi). Sleater is armed with a sharp intelligence and ruthless willingness to assassinate enemies as much as he's armed with guns. He's a man made rough around the edges by poverty, but in true Cox form there's an unexpected sensitivity to his romance with Nucky's wife Margaret (Kelly Macdonald). His demeanor softens at their first meeting, and as their affair progresses, it's clear that he adores her enough to move heaven and earth if she asked. He doesn't conceal his infatuation, and his ensuing Victorian-levels of yearning is disarming.
If only Owen's optimism weren't at the mercy of an HBO series. After a mission, he returns to Margaret and Nucky as a corpse in a box, but his goofy smiles and belief in love remain unique to Boardwalk Empire's world and help distinguish Cox's strengths. Owen, Matt, and Treason's Lawrence are each victims of their romantic and familial fidelities, and the sheer commitment from Cox guarantees that audiences engage with him.
A Star Is Born In 'Stardust'
Tumblr media
That holds true in a different (and surprisingly happy) way in the fantasy adventure Stardust, which was Cox's breakout role and now a cult classic. A besotted young man who promises to retrieve a fallen star for his lady love, Cox's Tristan instead falls in genuine love with the star herself, Yvaine (Claire Danes), over a series of adventures together. Their chemistry sparkles with classic enemies-to-lovers banter and Tristan's romanticism is bright and charming. He's the ideal floppy-haired hero for the genre: a swashbuckling swordfighter, a smooth dancer, and delicately devoted to Yvaine. Even in 2007, Cox's innate presence and emotional substance distinguished him from the many young men of the early 2000s who starred in fantasy films.
Give Charlie Cox All the Roles, Please
Naturally, Cox has more to offer the world than Daredevil even as the buzz around his return (and his own excitement) soars high. Seeing him recognized by Netflix again with Treason is a deserved delight. He makes each role unique, yet the consistency across his career is how each character feels natural. He combines fervor with honest fragility, and Treason undoubtedly proves that Cox possesses the necessary caliber to lead any series.
