Hi, as a fellow Adam Scott hyperfixator I wanted to see if you knew anything about his being cast in Ratatouille? Seems to have been announced around 2006 but between then and 2008 obviously something changed and he was not in the final movie. It's maybe been lost to time lol, but I'm so curious what happened/what role he'd been cast as

I ran to IMDb so quickly bc Ratatouille is genuinely one of my favourite movies!!!!
I have only been hyperfixating on this man for like, 2 month, so I am afraid I will be no help here. We need some veterans.
But what my little Google search has revealed is super confusing and almost makes me think this is some kind of joke I'm not in on yet???
Because I found some bits on an old Pixar forums about Adam Scott possibly being cast but also most of what I found was from February 2025???
And it's all feels like it's all the same text using some weird keywords and SEO??? There are even copies of Ratatouille on YT that have Adam Scott's name in the title as if he were in the movie when he isn't 😂 I'm so confused as to WHY someone would want to write weird and fake articles about Adam Scotts role in Ratatouille in 2025?? Like what type of traffic would that even drive to their sites? Mind boggling.
So you saying he was signed on to voice someone on Ratatouille seems plausible. Probably something didn't work out. But there are some pages online that make it sound like he was indeed in Ratatouille and THAT is weird xD
