hi! me again, i know it hasn’t been that long but i just rewatched one of my favorite anime’s, Komi can’t communicate, it’s about a girl named Shoko Komi who has extreme social anxiety or also known as social-phobia and has trouble speaking to others and making friends as well, i’m serious, anytime the girl tries to speak, she gets nervous and overwhelmed and just starts stuttering a LOT!

So! i was wondering if you could do lil something with the rottmnt boys and a reader who acts like that? you don’t have to! and don’t worry, i’m almost finished with the lil gecko’s design!

now if you start shaking and hesitate, he'll wait until like the very last second before he's chuckling and looking at you with gentle eyes. he takes the phone back into his hands, confirms the order, then pats your head. he's proud of you for trying!!

(he promptly dissolves into good-natured laughter when you start cuffing at his arm, face as red as a tomato.)

tbh thinks you're a cutie pie and tho he teases you, it's all in good nature !! let someone else try to come at you for your shyness. big "only I'm allowed to tease them" energy from this blueberry.

you know leo as your charming and obnoxious but fun-loving best friend who always smiles and jokes around you. but he can be brutal when he's upset. it's like a complete 360 when he's coming to your defense; his gaze turns hard and all traces of his bubbly self. GONE.

fiercely protective over you. whenever you're with him (or any of them really) he's your protector. and you can count on him to celebrate like it's the 4th of July whenever you manage to overcome your verbal barriers.

you bring a sense of stability and tranquility; a welcome pace to the constant chaos of his everyday normal. he's so used to all things loud and rambunctious and completely fizzy pop frenzied on a great day, that when your sweet little molasses self shows up and becomes a regular part of their everyday lives, he finds a haven that he didn't even know he wanted. much more needed.

raphie carries you in his arms to make a quick getaway? you force urge him silently to rest his head on your lap/tummy when y'all chill in peace.

once he had gotten caught up in the excitement and pure influx of creative juices + had drawn up a prototype for a replicate robot of you — purely intended on doing the things that you couldn't in a way of helping out!! — and barely survived the crossfire that he was immediately subjected to by his siblings. he snapped out of it and locked tf in after that and, after a lengthy lecture from raph, he allowed leo to rip the blueprints to shreds & mikey to burn it. yes, he might've gotten carried away in his inventions, but it's all from a place of care!!!

he buys you snacks and gifts you a cute handmade keychain the next time you come over after that. you're confused but delighted. he sticks just a little closer that day, and you allow it.

i feel he'd see himself in you. as a result, he'd want to provide you with more things and protect you a lot!!! he ain't afraid to speak up on your behalf either. trust me, he's given such poetic lip to some stuck up assholes in the social world that it rendered you genuinely speechless. but they stay as inside jokes between y'all and best believe it makes the others so jealous 🤣😭.

also not afraid to tell his own brothers off if they're crowding you a little too much (*coughleocoughcough*) — he's a lot less lenient than raphie tho 😅

he cares. a lot. maybe. he's got a soft spot for you, what can I say?

when everything and anything starts to become too much for you, he's usually pretty good at recognizing it and offers you a place of solitude in his lab! it's cool and quiet (well. quiet-er than the wipeout episode that is his daily life outside those very walls.) and generally gives a very chill vibe.

he also loves the fact that you listen to his ranting and rambling without interrupting, not even once. sometimes he thinks it's because you can't, but when he pauses and goes to inquire as much, he's met with your warmed and focused gaze, a slight quirk to your lips as you nod along and. the message is there. i'm listening.

you're lowk his bestie and he can't really live without you from now on, he thinks. it's like the grumpy cat x golden retriever trope, but you're more of a cat too. two moons coexisting! two cats drenched in purple moonlight.

well, all of them were, but he was (and is) the most amicable and the most emotionally adept at understanding you and your shyness. apart of the "Save Y/N from Leo & His Shenanigans" pt 2. mikey being the most emotionally available of his family certainly comes with its perks!! he helps them navigate their individual friendships with you as well, and even tho there are a few hiccups along the way, you all develop a strong and lovely bond— & a large part in that is owed to mikey and his empathetic prowess.

particularly loves baking for/with you!!! it's always worth it to see your eyes light up, and he really does think you have a cute face. it's been described in a more debonair light by others, but to him, you're the sweetest little baozi and he just wants!!! to wrap you up in a blanket burrito and!!! keep you in his metaphorical pockets forever!!!!!!

Surprising Leo with a box of homemade fudge brownies was the best idea you have had for a while.

When he saw you rock up to the lair with the box in your hands, he tried his best to keep his smile from stretching too far across his face. He failed and you easily noticed.

”Happy Valentines Day!”

Even with your large smile and flushed cheeks, there was a small worrying in your stomach that he wouldn’t like them, but you did your best to push them aside as he kissed your cheek and gently took the box from you.

He chuckles softly when he opens the box, marvelling at the goodness inside, “All these just for little ol’ me? You shouldn’t have. Why, we both know you’re sweet enough for me.”

You roll your eyes and nudge him, your cheeks only getting warmer by the minute.

When you tell him that you made them yourself his eyes instantly soften.

His little act drops fairly quickly after that and you instantly pick up on him shifting around on his feet, was he even sweating?

He tells you to wait where you are before quickly making his way to his room, leaving you there confused before he comes running back with his hands behind his shell.

“So, I decided not to make you anything in case it wasn’t, uh, edible, but I got you these…”

You were going to say that his cooking wasn’t even bad before he reveals what he had been hiding.

Your eyes widen at the seriously large bouquet of roses, the flowers a deep red.

”Leo.” You breathe out, taking the bouquet from him with so much care as the scent hits your nose, “They’re—“

“Beautiful?” You tear your eyes away from the flowers to see him staring at you with such a soft smile, his eyes taking in your features, “Yeah, I know.”

You spent the rest of the day cuddled up in his room, sharing the brownies while he runs his hand along your back, the two of you just enjoying the moment.

You weren’t sure at first if Donnie would really want to celebrate a day of romance, he loved you, you knew that, but you didn’t want to make him uncomfortable with such a big display of affection.

It was you though, so you were still going to make him something, just nothing over the top.

In the end, you made him chocolate cake pops!

They were small, delicious and bite sized so that he didn’t have to get his hands dirty if he was working in his lab.

With the sweets in hand, you surprisingly found Donnie outside of his lab, the turtle pacing backwards and forwards, muttering to himself under his breath.

”Donnie?”

Your voice snaps him out of his mini trance, and when he turns around to fully face you, you couldn’t help but notice the red heart shaped box in his hands.

”Y/n! I knew you were there, of course I did.” He clears his throat and straightens his hunched posture to stride up to you with jelly legs, his confident smile coming off more sheepish if anything.

He breathes in deeply, eyes closing as he holds out the box to you, “Happy Valentines Day.”

You weren’t expecting this, not at all. In your shock, it must have looked like you were hesitating to take the box which makes Donnie freak out internally.

”I know, cliché, right? You don’t have to take it if you don’t want—“

“No, wait! D, I love it.” You quickly grasp his wrist gently, a large grin spread across your cheeks, “I really, really love it. Thank you.”

You place the box under your arm, all the while Donnie rubs the nape of his neck, “Of course you would, I knew that…”

You hold back a small laugh and instead hold out your own gift, “Here, Happy Valentine’s Day. I made them myself.”

”You made…?” His voice fades as he stares down at the box, taking it as if it was his first born. He lifts the lid to stare in amazement at the cake pops.

Just knowing that you made them for him had his heart melting. How’d he get so lucky?

”Have I told you how much I love you? Because I love you.” He whispers ever so softly, taking your hand as he leads you to his lab. “I love you too, Tello. I love you too.”

Of course you had to make something sweet for your precious boyfriend, you would make him sweets everyday if you could!

You spent little to almost no time in thinking up what to make him, the answer was simple honestly.

Cupcakes! You felt like they suited him really well, and who doesn’t like cupcakes?

You might have made them early in the morning, just so they were made fresh. If you were going to do it, you were going to do it right. Forget about being tired!

Most likely smelling lightly of frosting despite showering before coming down to the lair, you had a small skip in your step as you called out for Mikey.

You barely had time to spot his orange bandana tails before he engulfed you in a tight embrace, his face nuzzling into the corner of your neck, your box of goodies almost crashing to the floor before you managed to hold them out of the way of the hug.

”Happy Valentine’s Day, sweetheart!” He lightly sways you from side to side, his happy laughter filling you with so much glee that you had to hug him back with the same enthusiasm.

”Mikey! Happy Valentine’s Day!”

You manage to part ways after a few minutes of cheek and forehead kisses, bright smiles on your faces with just as bright cheeks.

”I have something for you.” You grin, presenting the container to him which he quickly takes notice of.

Little stars basically fill his eyes, his hand coming up to cover his mouth for a moment, “You made me cupcakes?” He squeaks.

You furiously nod your head, which somehow makes him even more energetic.

”I made you cupcakes too!”

”Aww, you did?” You bounce on your toes, toothy smile never once leaving your face, “You didn’t have to!”

”Of course I did! Now we just have more to go around! Come on, I’ll show you! I tried to make the icing look like our faces!”

How you managed to eat his amazingly decorated cupcakes was a mystery, but you both ate enough to have you both passed out on his bed, bodies tangled up with each other.

Your boyfriend was the sweetest being on earth, and you felt like you needed to show him that. And what better day then Valentine’s Day?

You ended up baking him some cute sugar heart cookies with little ‘I <3 U’s and ‘Cutie’s and other wholesome words written in icing on them.

You made sure to do multiple batches, the more the merrier? You wouldn’t be surprised if his brothers tried to steal a few when the two of you weren’t looking anyway.

With the cookies safely in your grasp, you ventured into the lair with your sights on finding Raph. You didn’t expect to find him in the kitchen, the large turtle muttering and whining to himself as he goes through everything.

“Raph?”

His shout of surprise and the sound of his shell hitting something scared the both of you.

”Y/n, you’re here! Now! Great!” He manages to say between clenched teeth, his eyes never meeting your own.

”Of course I am, silly. I made you something, here! Happy Valentine’s Day.” You hold out the container of colourful cookies, but they never leave your hands.

”You made them? For me?” His hand slowly reaches out for the container but he quickly retreats, holding his hand with his other as if he’d been burned. “I can’t- I don’t deserve them.”

”Pardon?” Your eyebrows furrow, a small frown appearing on your face, “Honey, what do you mean?”

His shoulders slump forward as he sighs, fingers tapping together, “I tried to make you something…a lot of somethings actually, but every time I did, it just ended up a disaster.” He mutters, eyes downcast.

Your heart squeezes in your chest as you place the container down, instead placing a delicate hand on Raph’s cheek. “Oh, honey.”

He slowly lifts his head to meet your love filled gaze, “I don’t care that you don’t have anything to give me. I’m just honoured that you kept trying to make me something however many times you did! It’s sweet, thank you.”

You place a gentle peck on both his lips and forehead, sliding your hand from his face to take him by the hand while also grabbing the container again, “Come on, we can watch a movie while sharing these, sound good?”

He stares at you with half lidded eyes, the most softest face you had ever seen coming from him as he squeezes your hand back, “Sounds perfect.”

You had been fretting over this day for a few months, you might have been over thinking things but you just wanted April to enjoy her Valentine’s Day gift

You didn’t want to go too overboard and freak her out, but you also didn’t just want to buy something from the store, so you decided to make her something yourself!

In the end you bought some of the best looking and fresh strawberries and dipped them in chocolate, drizzled with white chocolate to top it all off. It was sweet, just like her, you thought. You also baked up some chocolate cookies, just to add some crunch.

You met her at the park, her suggestion, the cookies and chocolate strawberries placed in a bag that’ll keep them cold and stop them from melting. So you hoped anyway.

”Y/n, over here!”

Your girlfriends familiar voice catches your attention, your gaze shifting from the lake besides you to — what?

”Oh, wow. April, you did all this?”

Sitting cross legged on a picnic blanket was a grinning April, the woman patting a space besides her.

She had really gone all out. There were little sandwiches made, fruit salad in a container, an actual picnic basket filled with wrapped chocolates, and so much more that you couldn’t even begin to believe.

”Of course I did, gotta impress you somehow.” She chuckles as you finally take a seat next to her, eyes still wide in shock. She hesitated before adding softly, “It’s not too much, is it?”

“What? No! This is amazing, I just wish I brought more.” You laugh airily, showing her the strawberries and cookies you made, placing them besides the sandwiches- which you noticed were also your favourite.

”You kidding? No way! Babe, these look amazing.” She praises, already reaching for one of the strawberries. She takes a bite, humming at the flavour and sweetness, “Did you make these?”

”I sure did.” You beam, grabbing one for yourself and taking a bite.

”Even better.” April mutters, licking her lip clean of the chocolate, “Now let me feed you all romantic like and rub it in everyone else’s faces that we are the most romantic couple this place has ever seen!”

The most recent one would be when he prepared a dinner date on top of a musuem so you guys could enjoy the view. The place completely decorated with flowers and fairy lights.

Ya'll would definitely have matching things. It doesn't matter if it's a bracelet, necklace or onesie. You both just have the urge to have something that reminds you of the other person.

Which comes easily that you'd own something of his and him having something of yours.

Apparently he had given you his old bandana when he had gotten a new one. Instead of leaving it lying around to catch dust, you decided to use it as a ribbon for a hairtie. Trust that the first time he saw you with it, dude was levitating with heart eyes.

For him, you had gifted him a scarf. He was on cloud nine when he got it because it was entirely your scent. He would smell it every now and then or just wear it when you'd be busy with your daily tasks. It brings him comfort.

That's why everytime you visited after a long time, he'd completely shower you with cuddles and kisses. He doesn't really care if his family sees. Boy is just overjoyed to finally spend time with you again.

His favourite spots to kiss you would be easily your cheeks. He finds them super cute that he wishes he would just leave his lips on there forever.

One thing I wanna say is that you two happen to have this weird habit of acting out scenes from any tv series you guys would watch together.

It's always fun to act it out (only for you two) because it would end with you and him bursting into laughter everytime.

They don't see the sun often

So if he knows you’re coming down to the lair later, he may get a workout in just before. To have that pump in full effect for your arrival. Even better if you decide to say hey to him while he’s working out. His muscles straining to do another bench press under your watch. Grunting out with the effort as he racks it. Sitting up to give you a breathy smile, snaggle-tooth catching on his lip.

He’s a listener for sure. Big eyes going round and soft as you call out his name. Just give him a chance, an in, to know he has a chance and he’ll start getting more obvious in his advances. Always coming up with an excuse for some contact. For you to hold onto him. His arm is out for you to take if you ever need it.

And if he feels threatened, that your attention is being soaked up by someone else. He may use his size to his advantage. Taking up the space in front of you, unable to even peer over him as he leans down, with a slight frown “Who’re you lookin’ for? Raph’s right here! I’ll help with whatever you need,”

Leo is painfully oblivious when he wants attention. He is a whore for attention. He’s the face-man for a reason. When you enter the room he is the first to call out to you, already up and in your space. Depending on how close the two of you are it can be an arm slung around your shoulders, or a full on sweep-you-off-your-feet hug! He’s a tease so expect his hands to be on you regardless. Poking or tickling whenever he feels your attention fading elsewhere.

His jokes are aimed solely for you to laugh at. If he doesn’t get even a chuckle he may start pouting. If you don’t even give him an exasperated smile he may go down on his knees. Because he is that dramatic. If he’s wearing any clothes at all, they will either be so tight you can see every line of his form, or so loose you can see the skin regardless. Think suits or tank tops. Like Raph he’s not afraid to flex in front of you. Your eyes on him when he is purposefully showing off his body just goads that ego of his. You must be thinking he’s attractive right?

The type to grab your chin if he catches you ogling someone else. Tipping it up to meet his eyes as he tuts disapprovingly. “Hermosa! What else is there to look at when you have me right here? Hmmm?”

Donnie is more likely to show off his tech, achievements, and brain before he even thinks of his body. That’s what he is best at after all. He wants to show you all his accomplishments, his technological prowess. Please, please break something. He will be over at your place in a jiffy. Those hands and fingers showing off his precision and dexterity. They can be used for other things too!

The fashion sense he has is more like an add-on. Something he doesn’t even think twice about. Well maybe he put some thought into how good he would look in street wear. Dark purple and black are the color combos of his choice. But the grey sweatpants that he just throws on right before he goes to greet you? He hadn’t thought about how they hang on his hips. Nope.

Snarky comebacks are in his nature. He doesn’t do well with jealousy. “Scoff. Are your eyes seriously wandering over to that neanderthal? Should I go start the introductions?” And you better deny. Or come up with some plausible excuse so he doesn’t overthink the rest of the day away!

Mikey is spoiled with attention. He gets overloaded by all his big brothers after all. So if he is actively seeking out your attention, and isn’t getting the reception he’s used to? He’ll be a bit clingy. Like Leo, he will call out to you as soon as he sees you. No matter where or what you’re doing! Could be in a big crowd or a silent library. A big wave and a holler of your name will be the first thing he does. Then expect for him to sweep you off your feet into a crushing hug that goes on for a good couple seconds, and could last longer depending on your reaction.

He’ll cook you anything you want. He basks under your praise and compliments. If you moan, oh lord, he may not be able to stop staring at you. Eyes wide, mouth slightly agape, before he realizes himself and pushes the plate closer to you. Wanting to get that reaction from you again.

He has no problem spamming you in person and through the phone. He’ll text multiple messages without a second thought of how desperate he may seem. He’ll call if you don’t respond back in a reasonable amount of time. The logic behind that is everyone has their phone on them, at all times, just shoot him a thumbs up and he’ll feel reassured!

Donnie is insanely good at gaming, so if you weren't as confident as him, just know that he'll lead the both of you to victory.

You actually ran into him one time when you were playing some game online before you knew he played almost all the time thanks to his insomnia.

You only found out it was him by that ridiculous gamertag of his.

"Bootyyyshaker9000? No way."

The next day when you were down at the lair, you made sure to rub it in his face that you actually beat the famous Bootyyyshaker9000.

"That was you? Well, since you've proudly declared your victory, you're now joining me on my daily mission. Would prefer you on my team then some random noob."

And that's what started everything

You began playing with Donnie more and more until it became a routine, you weren't complaining.

Spending more time with your boyfriend, doing something he enjoys? It's about time.

He got you your own gaming chair and moved around his setup so you'd be more comfortable in his space.

With both of your skills, you became a power couple and brought fear onto those in the virtual world.

Donnie wants to use some hacks?

"Donatello! We are not cheating! You hear me? We're kicking their asses the good old way."

"You're no fun :("

Your sleeping schedule starts to copy his own, which isn't good because this guy gets no sleep at all

"Donnie, please. We can grind some more tomorrow, I'm tired."

"So help me, you are not sleeping until our level is in the triple digits, you hear me? Y/n? Y/n-?" Looks over and sees you passed out in your chair.

Sighs and decides that he could grind later. Gently takes your headset off without waking you up, picks you up with his hands under your knees and back and takes you to his room where he snuggles you up in his blankets and slides into bed with you.

When you're not in the mood to game you bring him plenty of energy drinks and snacks while also keeping him company.

Sometimes you two pull all nighters and his brothers chide Donnie for bringing you into his bad habits.

"It's like there's another Donatello running around! One is enough! One is enough!"

"Leon, one is never enough."

Both of you raging when the game is too difficult or there are just those guys that enjoy spawn killing you

"You kill me one more time, one more time, and I'll track down your address and send you a clown."

"Y/n, I need you to send them Hawaiian pizza too."

He actually really enjoys gaming with you though

You two somehow just get closer during your gaming sessions, you learn more about each other than you have even while dating

Sometimes he thinks you'd get bored of it after a while and will hesitate to ask you if you wanted to join him

"Hey, Y/n? So, there's a championship happening and, you know, if you have the time, I wanted to know if you wanted to join?"

"There's a championship? Shell yeah, D! Let me get my snacks, I'll be right there!"

Hello, could you create a headcanon for ROTTMNT where April saves the reader (gender-neutral) from being kidnapped by a Yokai and brings the reader to the hideout without telling the turtles? What would their reaction be?

MEETING THE BROTHERS FOR THE FIRST TIME

ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ fluff, bit of angst? Reader is gn!! (Sorry this was rushed ☹)

Background

What that Yokai wanted from you was unclear, you were simply on your way home when suddenly you found yourself to be cornered by a scary looking creature. All you knew was that it wasn't human.

It started shouting at you, demanding of something that you had stolen from them but you were unfamiliar with the description of the object they were after as you had no memory of coming across such item. It was when they lost their anger and about to lash at you, potentially taking you away, your classmate, April was able to jump to your rescue.

With the Yokai out cold, she grabbed your hand and began taking you somewhere. Somewhere she said will be safe for the both of you. However you didn't expect it to be the smelly odour of the sewers you would be hiding into. After a few walks and turns, you stumbled upon what seemed to be an underground lair. You were too astonished by the place to even notice the four creatures staring at you.

Out of all of the brothers, he was quick to pull April aside and ask her why she thought it was a great idea to bring a random HUMAN into their secret lair.

It was when she explained how you were being targeted by a Yokai that caught his attention. You? Being targeted by a Yokai? What could a Yokai need from a human like you?

Despite his unease having a stranger in the lair, he decided to let you stay when April assured him you were a good person. If she trusts you enough then he'll trust you too.

Seeing how April explains to you this whole new world to you, he could only watch as your expression changes every second from the pure shock of all of this.

He had to admit, he had expected you to freak out and run away but surprisingly you approached him and his brothers to introduce yourself properly.

"My name's (Y/N), it's nice to meet you. April says you guys are the good guys" You'd say and he couldn't help but stare at you. You're not afraid of them??

After the events of that day, you'd come by often to understand this new world of Yokai better, also for the sake of understanding why you would be targeted by one in the first place.

You were kind, patient and not to mention respectful towards them. That's why he decided to offer you some self defense lessons to ensure you were capable of protecting yourself.

As the eldest and being the one bearing so much responsibilities, he appreciates it when you would take the time to hear his rants. Like he never thought he'd find someone who would just get how he feels.

You guys would definitely do relaxing activities together to calm your minds. He now finds it more fun when you're doing it with him.

Yoga, knitting, making tea? Count him in!!

That's why it comes easily that his uncertainty towards you would change. He'd feel himself starting to feel more comfortable around you, at the same he'd also be protective of you since he now considers you a close friend.

"If you ever need anything, I'm here for you, you can always count on me to be there"

The moment you came inside the lair, your presence had him raise his brows out of interest. Like who are you? And why are you here?

Second to Mikey, he would also approach you to introduce himself. He had to admit, he was just happy to befriend another human.

He literally didn't listen to a single thing to what Raph said about you, all he knew was that you needed safety and was being targeted by a Yokai. But hey, just because you're here to figure things out, that doesn't mean you can't make your stay fun at the same time!

He'd be all over you, like whatever it is that you're doing, he wants to include himself in it. But if you really need the privacy or concentration to do something, he'll back off.

Once you become his friend, be ready for the weekly rants about the different varieties of comics he'd finish reading. If you happen to do the same, he'd be glad to lend you his collection ONLY IF you return it without a scratch.

Honestly, I like to think that he's the one who constantly tries to get you in trouble with his crazy activities. That's because Raph will let him slide easily if you were involved. He likes to boast about how it's a 169 IQ strategy but what he doesn't realise is the pile of chores he'll have to do after every attempt.

He's aware of you being targeted by this unknown Yokai but that doesn't stop him from taking you to the Hidden City. He's a risk taker, what did you expect?

He has probably lost you once or more and it always costs him a lot of trouble to finally find you. Just imagine at the end of the day, he'd be begging you not to tell anyone about what happened because he's afraid of being lectured.

He definitely let's you play with his samurai swords if you ever asked. You once accidentally teleported one of Donnie's gadgets and you both agree to keep it a secret. Til this day on, he's still searching for it.

Also if you need someone to have fun with, he's the guy.

If you wanna skateboard with him, he'll gladly do so. If you don't know how to, he'll be patient in teaching you. His hands intertwined with yours to make sure you don't fall off.

To be fair he doesn't think much of your sudden appearance to the group, as long as you're cool and a genuinely nice person, you're welcomed to the club!

DONNIE

No way did April just let a random person in their lair as if it's thanksgiving.

He'd be conscious about you, watching your every move and every expression, anything to catch just a hint of bad intentions behind your sudden appearance.

When April was explaining your situation to Raph, he couldn't help but eavesdrop. You were almost kidnapped by a Yokai? Yikes. Why would someone do that?

Even though April reassures them how you are trustworthy, Donnie feels like he'll need to judge your character himself.

After the day you guys got to know each other, you would regularly drop by their place to stay for a while, your reason being either that you wanted to come by to chill or that you felt safer in the lair.

Personally Donnie would be invested in figuring out why you were targeted by a Yokai in the first place. If you're ready to talk about it, he'd question the night of the event to get some answers.

While he's on his computer doing his investigating, he wouldn't mind having you inside his room. Just don't break or touch any of his things. He can get frustrated when you move even just an inch of his stuff.

Since you are uncertain of your safety, Donnie would be willing to make a watch for you. It can track where you are and if you happen to be in an emergency, just one press on the emergency button and he'll instantly get the message.

He's not mean or anything but it takes a while for him to put down his guard around you. Once he does then it's like seeing a whole different side of him, he'd be much more chatty and smiling.

If you're sort of a nerd who likes to geek out then he's your pal to geek out with. Math, science, whatever that is a common interest between you both, he can go on for days if you dare challenge him.

To be honest I can see him being the type to sneak into school just to see what you're doing. Not in a stalking way but more of a, oh you need company that day because April isn't present? Or you have a school event and you want him to be there? He just wants to ensure your safety in case a Yokai somehow sneaks in, which is ironic since he's doing the exact same.

Clearly when you came to the lair for the first time he is very wary of you but after a few days of getting to know you personally, he realises how the misunderstanding led to a new friendship. He won't complain since you turned out to be an alright person.

"Oh great you're procrastinating again. GO BACK TO WORK!!"

MIKEY

His eyes lit up when he saw you entering the lair with April beside you. Its almost like an alarm went off in his head signalling "NEW FRIEND. NEW FRIEND" over and over again.

He was the first to approach you, he was introducing himself and talking about lots of nonsense. All you could make out was how he said he was thrilled to meet you and that he was excited to paint rainbows together (?). You were confused as you struggled to keep up with his pace of talking.

When Raph told him the tight situation you were in, he actually gasped, like audibly gasped. A Yokai tried to kidnap you? How could someone do that??

That's why he was willing to let you stay any time you needed. He didn't complain since that meant he gets to have some company.

He really does care about your safety so if you'd like, he would like to join you whenever you went out. If its in the morning then he'll be on the rooftops watching after you as you walked down the city. Anything to make you feel less anxious.

Speaking of anxiety, he'd offer to have you paint murals with him. The lair has plenty of walls for you to use so if you're an artist itching for some place to test out your skills, he knows just where is the perfect place.

Something also tells me he would like to create matching bracelets together. Yes, he's just that good at making new friends. He'll definitely make your beads your favourite colour while you do his signature orange.

He's so the type of friend to make sure you're always looking your best. You have something in your teeth? He'll tell you discreetly. Is your hair not hairing? Don't worry bro's a stylist.

He obviously tries to lift up your spirits as his brothers are busy helping you out. If you ever need someone to talk about your worries to, he's there to lend a shoulder. He'll have tissues ready if you happen to need a good cry.

Based on the details you shared about what happened, he can't help but come up with a theory that you could be some secret hybrid. Maybe you have some secret powers you're not aware? He once brought that theory to Donnie who immediately dismisses it.

But who knows, maybe he's onto something.

Nonetheless, he's just glad to have made a friend like you. Sometimes some good can come out of an unplanned surprise.
