In a forward-flying leap, Kyojuro’s hand found Akaza’s throat, gripped it tightly, and tackled the other demon to the ground. He held him against the earth by the throat and a knee pressed into his chest. His face inches from Akaza’s, Kyojuro bared his teeth.  Akaza blinked up at him, then grinned with bemused delight. “What, they’re letting you keep pets now?” He asked in Giyuu and Tanjiro’s general direction.  “Not very well trained, is it?” He was cut off as Kyojuro lifted him by the throat and slammed him back down into the earth with such force that it cracked the ground beneath them.  “What did you do to me?” His voice was such a ferocious snarl that Tanjiro and Giyuu could hardly make out the words at all. Akaza’s grin faded. He looked unflinchingly up at the demon holding him down, stared into those uncanny bright eyes, like twin suns. Where have I seen those eyes before?  “What did you do to me, you bastard?!” The familiar demon roared again, slamming him back into the earth a second time. His cascade of fiery hair fell over the both of them. Akaza’s eyes went wide.  “Kyojuro…?”

Lazarus Water is a special water to Ghosts. Not for drinking, but more for like...baptism. Into servitude.

Anyone who has been dunked in Lazarus Water is bound by soul contracts to serve the Ghost King, whoever it is.

The more someone has been dunked, the more binding the contracts.

Jason and Bruce? They would have to be given a direct order.

Damian? A side-minded mention would force his body to comply with the Ghost King's wishes.

Ra's? Ra's is screwed.

Because the Ghost King is now a fourteen year old boy, and Ra's has been dunked so many times that all said boy has to do is think and the Demon Head is scrambling to comply.

Danny doesn't know what he did to have ninjas at his beck and call, but they're really taking the workload off of his shoulders by fighting his rogues when he has homework to do or sleep to catch, so he's very okay with all of it.

phoenix wright is the kinda dude to fall asleep anywhere if he's tired enough.

miles edgeworth is the kinda guy who has to have the room at a specific temperature with 1.5 blankets on him, the right pillow(s), the pajamas with his favorite specific texture (the pink silk pajamas are for more than just looking good) and whatever specific background noise playing – sometimes video essays about the steel samurai, sometimes specific episodes of steel samurai, sometimes instrumental/steel samurai ost playlists, some specific streamers who gained popularity playing the samuraiverse cardbuilding RPG roguelike released several years ago or maybe even steel samurai asmr roleplay.

okay, so we know that godtiering heals you. tavros gets his legs back, vriska gets her eye and arm back etc etc. furthermore, it could be interpreted as healing perceived disadvantages. terezi wouldnt get her sight back if she were to godtier, because she doesnt see (pun not intended but here we go) her blindness as something that weakens her, quite the opposite - and when aranea heals her sight, she hates it and purposefully wears a blindfold. sburb would recognize her preference and honor it once she ascends.

we could go even further. once ascended, all your perceived weaknesses would be removed, and what weakness means varies wildly from person to person. harlenglishcrocegberts keep their glasses, as well as vriska - we can assume they never felt like their bad sight was any issue for them, so it was left out. for trans folks, and lets put myself under the microscope - if i were to godtier, sburb might throw my way a nice and quick top surgery, but leave the rest alone since i dont have any strong feelings about those.

it could even heal things like brain damage, chronic pain, migrains, cancer, anything that you feel like brings you down will be removed. alpha kids get their hangovers healed up. ascending basically builds your body up from the start, atom to atom, whole dna rewritten if you want it to be.

my question now: would it, or would it not remove karkats or kankris mutation, making them limebloods? everytime we see vantases who are god tier theyre ghosts, and their wings are not shown. it might be because theyre small (which is a popular headcanon) or they dont have any, be it because of their mutation or because its a feature of the bloodcast they originate from, or theyre simply hidden. either way we never see what the actual color of their wings is, which would indicate the color of their blood after ascention.

basically i have no idea. but its a fun thing to think about and ive been doing it for the past few days now
