Personally I don’t want to say “model attractiveness” because it can get a lil alienating for a lot of people but I know for a FACT that regardless of what you look like under the mask Johnny is down horrendously bad.

His curiosity has himself watching you when he thinks you’re not aware of his staring. Every sliver of skin that might have shown when your mask rides up your neck, to how the fabric of your mask hugs your feature. He doesn’t speculate per se, but he observes and anything he notices he drinks up like a man starved. Every contour and edge under your mask is something more about you that he’s falling in love with.

Johnny is inquisitive, he is direct, but he is never disrespectful. He may have joked about how you always wear your mask but he’s never pressured you and has accepted that a mission will probably take him out before he can see your face.

What he didn’t expect was for you to suddenly take off your mask in base, sweltering because some dumbass broke the indoor heating system.

“You can look,” you say idly upon noticing how Johnny sits rigidly beside you. Back straight, eyes forward staring at the details of the far end wall like he was a private once again.

“Y’sure?”

“Positive.”

Johnny dares the slow heavy trip of his head turning to see yours and god damn he needs to track down whoever broke the heating and thank them for this blessed opportunity.

“Steamin’ bloody Jesus…”

Johnny finds himself falling in love all over again. He was not mentally prepared to see you unmasked, his eyes roaming across your features like it was the last time he was going to see you. He took it all in, trying desperately to burn it into his mind. So this is what you were hiding, he had half the mind to accuse you of gate keeping such a sight.

“Keep your mouth open like that and you’re going to catch flies.”

He immediately shuts his mouth but a smile is creeping up instead. Giving you an encouraging nudge of the arm, Johnny does not look away once.

“Yer a real looker, you know.”

“You’re not too bad yourself.”

You reply with a smile of your own and it’s as if the heavens have opened up to him and him alone. He’s glad you don’t seem bothered with him looking at you because he really isn’t going to stop anytime soon.

Heya! I've been having another Solomon brainrot after Our Destiny was released and I saw your post so I wanted to share some (probably cliché) thoughts too. I hope you don't mind! ^^

Ok first off— KAWATA-SAN'S VOICE IS AMAZING AND ADDICTING AS ALWAYS

I definitely had high hopes for his character song especially with his catchy, educational fish songs and his cover of Sinful Indulgence but it still surpassed my expectations—

The harmonization is so mesmerizing and the humming and ad-libbing at the end? *chef's kiss*

Now about Solomon himself

**some S3 (Lessons 41-60) spoilers ahead, sorry**

A lot of people see Solomon as a shady character but personally, I think he's really sweet. Sure, there are times when he deceives you for the sake of teaching you as well but he's seen a lot in his time.

With the MC's total faith in others being their greatest virtue and weakness, I think he also wanted to teach them not to trust people too easily, let alone demons. In the 3rd part of his birthday card (Seek a Melody), he mentioned that being in a pact with a demon doesn't make them your friend and each party has its own separate interests. But also thanks to the MC, he eventually started seeing them as good friends and the MC taught him some things about demons that he hadn't known despite having lived for so long.

Solomon didn't really have any close friends except for Asmo and eventually, Simeon, Luke and the MC.

Maybe I've been influenced by a few posts and fanfics here and there but I think he was a bit insecure about having a relationship with the MC especially since they're usually around the demon brothers and they barely get to spend any time together (until S3) and he'd accept the fact that his feelings may be unrequited.

After being alone for so long, he has someone to value again, to love again and this time, he has a chance to deepen their connection which is why he won't ever let them go.

Kawata’s voice is honestly perfect for Solomon, it’s smooth and calming yet slightly airy with mischievousness~

I am FULLY with the “Solomon’s just some dude” agenda lmao. Yeah this man is a powerful sorcerer on the prowl for pacts but honestly if I was him I would be too skdjskd (also he has 70? or so pacts and for someone alive for presumably thousands of years thats a pretty low rate). He likely learnt the hard way of the contractual relationship of a pact, poor man ends up keeping a lot of beings at arms length. But for you, the one he’s ironically learnt so much from, he’ll teach you all he knows in return

PLEASE after the first time I came across the “Solomon concerned that MC would never love him back because he’s just a human and there’s literally all powerful demons down bad for them” I read nothing but Solomon fics for the next week. Unrequited love that is actually returned is just SO JUICY I’ve been itching to write a fic on it skdjskdjs. I guess some could argue that its not logical given Solomon could be just as powerful - if not more - than quite a few demons but in turn I’d argue that insecurities are usually not - if not ever - rational. It has been centuries, likely millenia, since Solomon has felt this way for someone, he can’t bear the thought of giving it up. Even if you don’t feel the same, he’ll be by your side, doing all he can to keep you safe and to see you smile at him

Sooooo, here I am! Ready to ramble about my OC(s).

Technically I have two but I haven't gotten around to draw both their character sheets because I didn't have the time to do so yet and procrastinated 💀 I'll give you the TL;DR of their backstories because otherwise, I'll write an essay here (I will already anyway skdfjksdj).

Setting: Futuristic/Cyberpunk universe Names: Dust & Aiden

Aiden is a gifted and former rich kid/corpo. He graduated with a masters degree in engineering and human augmentations. He founded a company for such augmentations and soon became a leader in the market with them at the young age of 21. A few years later his company faced a major setback due to a critical business deal, causing a decline in revenue and leaving him in debt. Despite his efforts to make amends, he was unable to pay back the debt and his brother was taken hostage. Long story short, he was faced with the impossible task of stealing an important blueprint for a new weapon from one of the wealthiest families in the city or risking losing his brother. He succeeded stealing the blueprint but was caught while doing so, leading to his brother being killed by the kidnappers. Aiden was arrested, his reputation tarnished, and his company was taken away, forcing him to live on the streets where he was met with mistrust and disdain due to being a well-known figure throughout the city and people in the slums of the city dislike "corporate people". He soon met a bounty hunter and helped him with one of his faulty augmentations and soon found himself following in his footsteps. The bounty hunter taught him the basics of the profession and Aiden began to make a name for himself. The word of his work including the reputation of his technical skills in augmentations and cybernetic enhancements quickly spread, and he became one of the most sought-after bounty hunters in the city.

Dust was born and raised in the slums. She never knew her parents and was raised by an older woman who took her in as a child. She considers her her grandma although they're technically not blood-related. Her "grandma" had a shop for salvaged parts for augmentations where she buys old/used parts and refurbishes them to resell them again afterwards. Dust followed suit and ever since her grandma has grown older she has since taken over the shop and leads it now. The bounty hunter that took Aiden in is friends with her grandma and therefore also knows her. He often goes to their shop to sell old parts to them. Which is also how Aiden and Dust eventually meet. She is overall a very sunshiny and bubbly character despite already having to face the hardships of life in the slums. But she's making the best out of it and tries to maintain a positive outlook on life.

Yeah that's about it in short. I'd also attack a picture but I don't really have any I've drawn myself yet but I'll eventually get to that soon. This has become quite long, I'm sorry!! 💀

And I also never intended for them to meet originally but I kiiiiinda started shipping my OCs because they're basically the perfect grumpy vs. sunshine dynamic. So... I want to go for the painful pining, slow-burn type of route with them now skdjskdj.

To note: Tiso returns Markoth's shield to him properly when Ghost decides to go to Godhome - so that the seal and spell breaks but of course, Markoth is still alive. Tiso sticks with Ghost all the way to Godhome and is the first to meet Shade Lord like the himbo he is-

The first sense that made itself known to him, was the whispering of the faded. It danced around fruitlessly in his mind as it tried to grasp onto what the sounds were, flitting in and out like a dying flame. The second sense was the cold sensation shaking his whole body, a sharp pain piercing his head as he dryly hissed. Eyes dry - he blinked rapidly as he finally raised his head to glance around at his environment. Everything was blurry - colours morphing into one inconsistent blob. Amazing.

His cheek suddenly flushed with warmth, a firm object cradling his frozen form. Instinctively, Xero leaned into it - a familiar feel of a strong hand flittering in the back of his mind. A sigh escaping, he closed his eyes, as the hand moved to lace itself around his back and pull him closer - head gently burrowing into fur. The blanket warmth draping around his body soothed the shaking, a small smile on his face. He brought his hands to rest on the fur, loosely grasping onto some tufts. Xero dared to open his eyes again, thankful that he could, at least, see shapes and colours - humming gently to himself at the familiar tone of Markoth. The moths other arm came to wrap around the ant - prompting him to glance up.

"Xero?" Markoth rasped out - voice clearly unused, yet still holding the same rumble Xero knew so well. He raised a hand, fumbling to rest his own hand against the moths cheek - thumbing it gently. He didn't need to see clearly to know how gentle the moths eyes were.

"Hey," he managed, whispering, swallowing thickly as his dry throat stung, "Missed you..."

Markoth bent down to rest his forehead against Xero's, holding the ant as close as he could.

From scrolling through your Instagram and Tik Tok feed, you’re constantly reminded of your shape and size. You worry if you’re too big or too small. You question if your tummy is too large, or not large enough.

You’re insecure about your lower belly, scared to sit in fear of it becoming visible.

It’s tough. You battle with it every day.

It’s hard to fake things around Bakugou. He’s perceptive, and he’s a people watcher. He knows exactly how you work, after all, he is in love with you, he’s been in love with you for a while.

He finds himself thinking about you often, picturing you in his thoughts like you were a gorgeous painting hung in an art gallery. There’s never any detail too small that Bakugou doesn’t think about.

Whether it be a birthmark, or the color of your nail polish if you’d worn any.

So it’s safe to assume that Bakugou knows when something’s bothering you. It’s in his nature to know because he knows you so well.

His approach is anything but subtle. He’s knocking on your dorm door after class to ask what’s been going on.

“Oh hey, Bakugou- come on in I guess.” You step aside letting the blonde, who was already making his way inside, inside.

“What’s going on with you lately?” He starts after you’ve shut the door. At least he has respect for the privacy of the conversation.

“I don’t follow?” You fidget with your fingers, toying with the hem of your U.A. sweater.

“You’re acting different, you’re barely eating at lunch, you’re being weird.” Bakugou points out further, and that’s when you realize.

He’s got you figured out, right down to a T. You couldn’t lie to him, he’d know. He was smart like that.

“Why do you care?” You ask, it wasn’t meant to be rude, but in any tone, that line could be seen as rude.

“Because I do. So tell me what the fuck is going on.” It’s the first time he’s ever openly admitted to caring about you. As long as you’ve had a crush on him, you highly doubted he even considered you a friend, let alone that he cared for you.

“It’s stupid-”

“I said that I cared for you, what more do you want me to say?” Bakugou took a few steps closer to you. 

“I-I hate seeing you like this, it’s not fucking like you to be all sad and upset.” Bakugou’s voice cracks at the beginning of his sentence. He was struggling to get the words out. He wasn’t good at doing this kind of thing.

“I’m not pretty. You see this? This flab, it’s disgusting, I don’t look like any of the other girls, I look-”

Bakugou’s lips crash onto yours shutting you up. Frankly, it was either that or yelling shut up. He figured the option that wouldn’t possibly make you cry was better.

When he pulled away, you could see frustration filled in his crimson eyes. His large hands gripped your waist, right where you’d explained you felt insecure.

“You’re the most gorgeous person I’ve ever laid eyes on. Those other girls don’t have shit on you. You’re fucking amazing.” Bakugou’s hands squeezed at your sides, proving his point even more.

“I love you, I love your hands, your arms, your legs, your tummy, everything. All of you. And I wouldn’t change a damn thing.” He pulled you in for a hug.

Bakugou could, in his own way, be really positive and motivational. 

You’re silent, and for once, you don’t even have words forming in your mind. 

Your problems aren’t going to magically fly away just like that, it’s something you’ll have to overcome, but you’ve got a pretty good start. It’s a hard journey to love yourself, but it’s one you can work on.

“Bakugou?” You speak for the first time, pulling apart from the hug you’d sat in for a few minutes.

“Yeah?” He responds.

“Thank you.” 

He’s silent. He looks at you, his hands move from around your shoulders to your hands. He brings them up to his mouth and places gentle kisses on both of them, his gaze never leaving yours.

“Be mine.” He whispers. He’s gentle.

“I’d love to.”

everytime i see posts about how the team so readily criticised Hotch in that episode my heart breaks just a little more

not that i think it's wrong or they shouldn't have done that, but the fact that only Morgan was the one to add nuance to his criticism ("sometimes")? for Emily it was kind of understandable since she was still so new to the team, and obviously given the way she started at the BAU, Hotch wouldn't have shown her too much trust & be kind to her, which to be fair, definitely could've made her come to the conclusion that he doesn't trust women. but the one that really gets to me nowadays is how JJ just says he's a bully like, 😭😭😭😭 he's one of the kindest characters with the biggest hearts on the show and I always thought Hotch had this older brother vibes with JJ because he was so protective of & patient with her & all that it actually kind of broke my heart to see that line again 😭

the first time i watched the episode i didn't think much about it because at that time i was younger (around 2 years ago? i mean mentally, intellectually, i feel like I've matured since then) & so i didn't pay such close attention to that scene + the whole Spencer was still in danger part kinda had my attention anyways. i only thought that scene was kinda sad but also showcased Hotch's really amazing intellect + sensitivity/perception i guess, i found it kind of funny/amusing and enjoyed it when they figured out Spencer's hint and that's it but now, as I've grown and matured and especially after I've read more fics about Hotch (fanfiction writers are really amazing at spotting details, you'd know that yourself) i just find the entire scene to be SO HEARTBREAKING 😭 idk i always saw Hotch as this strong, tough alpha male leader figure and to think that in that moment he's getting ripped apart by his teammates, the very people he is constantly putting his life and job and family on the line for, and getting all his insecurities and biggest fears laid out and voiced out and exposed by those he very well considers his second family.....

I am going to sound terrible, but I AM VERY HAPPY!! I was hoping someone would be sad because I had the idea in the shower and was like: AHA

I know, I watched that episode and was like: ohh... well... I mean... and then I watched more and was like: OHHH NOO. And then people will be like: HAHA IT'S SO FUNNY!! Or: well I mean, are they wrong??

And I'm like: first, that wasn't funny, because when I asked my friends what my worst flaw was I got: how honest do you want me to be, you don't have enough faith in yourself, you don't have one and silence. And they were also wrong because PEOPLE SAY THINGS IN ANGER!!

Honestly, look at their comments and it shows so much about the way they view Hotch and the dynamic between the characters, and also how they express their emotions. Morgan already knows that Hotch is up to something, so not only does he add nuance, he goes for something that isn't even that big of a deal like "drill sergeant, SOMETIMES" he's the Unit Chief, of course he is.

Yeah, Emily's makes sense, but the issue I have with that is the fandom interpretation of that comment. It's not that he doesn't trust women- if he really didn't trust women, he would not trust JJ to handle press, or recruited Garcia from prison. Also, look at the dynamic with Blake and with Kate. He never distrusted them. He didn't trust Emily because of the way she was put on his team. Everyone watching knows there's something going on, and most of the fandom have seen the later seasons so it's like: GUYS!! REMEMBER THE CONTEXT!!

I know!! When JJ called him a bully, I was like: I know you're angry, but you know you're wrong and he's going to internalise that, and he's not a bully, because look at their little interactions like when he told her it's okay to lose it, or when he fought to let her stay, or how he thought she was an amazing profiler and AAH

Yeah I watched that for the first time and kinda thought it was funny, if a little sad and problematic because why would anyone look at their boss and think: yeah, I'm going to be honest about this. And I know Reid was trying to give a hint, but it was still sad to hear Hotch so violently deny being a narcissist, because even when people don't mean things, it hurts. That's why I included it in the post, just for the complete set.

I first mentioned that scene in heavy is the head that wears the crown as one of the six times Hotch keeps it together, and people were like: OH MY GOD!! That was when I realised... most people did not take it the same way I did... and then it became A Thing.

So then it got mentioned in... that fic where Hotch got kidnapped and mayhem and maybe that's okay? I'm not sure, but I started working it into as many things as possible because I'm like that.

(But seriously, I will work in Emily's: I need to know I can be human and the Revelations scene wherever possible, it's ridiculous)

It is very upsetting though. Because you have Hotch saying he doesn't have a sense of humour, which is a) not that big of a deal, and b) not true. JJ lashes out, Morgan tries to do damage control, Emily goes too far (there's actually a conversation planned where Gideon tries to explain the truth...)

That was exactly it. Throughout the show, Hotch puts his career on the line- he does also get suspended without pay- and tries to do everything he can for them, only for that scene to never have any follow-up. Also, it was definitely strange. So much of the non-case moments show the team are also a family, because they talk to each other and they love each other and this and that, but that one scene seems to do the opposite...

Like an UNSUB was able to get Hotch's biggest fear- and therefore his biggest flaw- better than the team were able to. Mildly concerning. But yes. I stand by: these were comments made in a moment of anger, and Hotch is not any of those things so everyone should move on :)
