The silence. It's nice.
Madelaine Petsch as Maya in The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024) | written by Alan R. Cohen & Alan Freedland & directed by Renny Harlin
It's been a couple days since Amelia's graduation. She still can't believe she has graduated High School. The ceremony was beautiful. She didn't think she'd cry but the feeling of leaving her childhood behind and stepping into adulthood had her in tears.
When she had stepped up to podium to collect her diploma and give her Valedictorian speech, she couldn't help but miss her parents. She wished that they were there.
Amelia wished for a lot of things. She wished things were different. She wished her parents were more supportive. She wished they were here. They've missed a lot of milestones in her and Lily's life and felt sad that Lily would never know her Grandparents.
Ya'll ever just sit back and think that the thing kept Solaris anchored in Sonic's dimension, the strong consciousness that Elise felt in the second phase... was Blaze? That somewhere in that blazing core, Blaze was keeping Solaris there so that Sonic, Shadow, and Silver could destroy him.
Sonic 06 had so much potential, and I'm so glad that Project 06 is a thing. Shoutout to ChaosX on Twitter/X
So my wife interviewed for and got the manager position for one of the 2 All-Star teams, each team has 12 players, and about 40 tried out today. It does not guarantee my daughter a spot, but it sounds like it didn't need to. She didn't drop a single fly ball, made great plays on grounders, pitched strikes, and was hitting balls to the outfield.
kofi request: Tsuyu, Bakugo, and Ochako hanging out. I made them work on a group project together, i think they'd make a very fun and competent team lmao
When Amelia gets home, she finds an email notification on her computer. With a Trembling hand she opens it, hope and dread blooms in her chest, swirling around and mixing into her favourite emotion of all time. Anxiety.
As she starts to read, fear starts to fill up her entire body taking over everything, her heart, her mind, her soul. But as she continues reading the fear slowly dies down until there is nothing but excitement and joy. She rushes to call Daniela.
"I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!!!"
Amelia's is so happy she feels like jumping up and down.
"Your girl will be going to Foxbury in the fall to study Education and Music!!!"
Amelia listens as Dani excitedly tells her about her getting into Foxbury as well.
She can't believe it. Her dreams of her and her best friend going to the same college have finally come true. Although it's not going to be exactly as she planned. She's excited to start this new chapter of her life.
“bro we should get like a ton of little children, lock them in a basement and make them fight for their freedom but whoever wins will realize the basement door was unlocked the whole time so they became a murderer for nothing and after that we report them to the police to just absolutely fuck up their lives”. Kay, see why i love her?💍💐
Chappell Roan, a lesbian, went on a national broadcast tonight and performed a song about dating a closeted woman who refuses to acknowledge their relationship and denies the fact that she’s a lesbian. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that happening but here we are and it’s amazing.
As a lesbian woman, to have an artist go out and be so entirely herself in every way, to be so proud of her own sexuality and to perform a song like this and have it be broadcasted to millions of people…it makes me so emotional. All I have ever wanted as a queer woman is to have this sort of unabashed representation and we’re finally getting it in such an incredible way. What an era we are living in and all I can say is long may it continue and I am so proud to be a Chappell Roan fan.
