I've been thinking and thinking. Call me a researcher or just a stranger. And something's been gnawing on my mind.

I didn't know Herobrines could reproduce let alone be female. There's an overabundance in males and females are a rarity from my observation. That is such an odd thing. Not to mention that Herobrines don't really- reproduce. Of course with exceptions, but the cases I know do it rather traditionally.

Your mother- (likely a brine all the same - as you describe yourself one too) Your mother produced children by spreading spores of some kind. Some parts of herself I guess. A power to mend into the elements and create another living being in such a way is baffling.

To get to the point and my actual question.

I've been pondering- spreading Herobrine offspring on such a wide scale (as you mentioned you had plenty of siblings) and seemingly not weakening herself if she could do that en mass. Maybe it's less of making more Brines from herself but something more akin to Brine-Spawns. (like vampire-spawns- a weaker kind of vampire sprung from a true one)

With that odd thought- you are the child of a Herobrine, but not a full brine yourself? Do you think that is kinda true?

Brines are such a rarity, your mother releasing tousands of offspring into the world and them being true Brines seems a little unreasonable.

Of course I may be mistaken as every elusive indivitual of a brine works different than the next. Maybe you and your "species" aren't actual brines by many a definition from each their own flaws.

Fic writer review [Or a fic writer tag game if you prefer]

I was tagged by @naralanis and I can already see her grin all the way from where I am xd Thank you, dear, for the tag, let’s see what are my answers, shall we.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

*bursts out laughing* Adding both pseuds I have… 535 according to the account info but by counting them all I’m reaching 541 so I’m guessing it’s counting some drafts I need to re-find.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

I seriously hated you for this one xd I was going to do it by hand by I decided one-third there that I value my mental stability a little bit more xd according to the stats page back at a03 that number would be 1257884. It may be wrong. I think there should be a few more numbers up there but the majority of my works are one-shots so *shrugs* There’s also the fact that counting my ao3 things only is shaving off like half of it Xd Anyway, can we laugh at the fact that I’m a pain in the ass and that I’ve written a lot? More than I should have, that’s for sure

3. How many fandoms have you written for?

Trick question because I haven’t crossposted everything I wrote back in ffnet and I actually erased some fics from my account back there so the numbers are a little blurry there.

When I had the entirety of my work posted both in ffnet and a03 I had written for: Twilight (Bella/Alice) Glee (Faberry and there were a couple Pezberry and I don’t fucking remember the pairing name for Santana and Quinn), Harry Potter (Hermione/Ginny, Hermione/Narcissa, Hermione/Bellatrix) OUAT (SwanQueen and several oneshots focusing on the mad hatter and the blue fairy solely back at ffnet that were written in Spanish and never translated), I actually had a veeeery old au prompt of Frozen (Elsanna in where I wrote them as non sibilings), Rizzoli and Isles (Rizzles), Dishonored 2 (Emily Kaldwin/Alexi Mayhew), Lara Croft and Wonder Woman, Supergirl (SuperCorp/Supercat) I had a 100 one -or maybe two??- (Clexa), The Shannara Chronicles (Amberle/Eretreia [Or Princess Rover], Rwby [Blake Belladona/Yang], The Worst Witch (Hecate Hardbroom and Pippa Pentangle), The Half of it, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Madam Satan/Zelda Spellman) and… I think that’s it(?) I may be forgetting some but probably nothing important if I’m not remembering it lol.

4. Top 5 fics by kudos?

Ah, we are going to go there, uh? Xd My works are not the kudos and comment getting type Xd So I was quite surprised when I went to check this.

1: Cracked it I wrote this one back in 2017, it was a prompt done by an anon: Lena is nerding with one of her projects at home, mumbling mostly to herself because she’s stuck and Kara casually mentions how to solve the problem like it’s nothing. I really had some fun with this. It was back when some us, SQeeners were fully doing the jump between OUAT and SuperGirl (I mean, there had already been some crossover as for fandom is related but this when the girls were actually getting their conjoined voice within the fandom)

2: Dateless I honestly needed to check what this one was about but I think I can see why this one shot has the amount of kudos it has. It’s a short and sweet idea and responds to the Teachers Au that went SO well with SQ. Everyone thinks they hate each other and try to set them up with other people whilst they, in truth, are dating. I don’t remember if I wrote them as married rather than dating but despite being from 2017 as well is one cheeky enough to be cool Xd I probably would edit some lines now *shudders*

3: After you I truly didn’t expect this one to be top 3. Makes me think of a lot of things, if I’m being honest Xd. After you was a one shot written almost feverishly as an answer to the fabulous drawings that Sejic did of both Lara Croft and Wonder Woman back at 2018 or something. It’s just Lara and Diana being himbos but not at all with each other.

4: How about… How about is one I remember perfectly, it was my answer to the ending of the Half of it film. I had SOME thoughts about it, let’s just stop there Xd I really liked the film itself but I think and I thought at the time that my response to wishing for a final scene at the very end of the credits responds to me being in a different personal moment than the characters. I really wanted to explore my feelings about it and so I wrote about them finding each other again after some time passes. It was also something I wrote after quite the hiatus so I took it as something I could write about without focusing too much on the why.

5: Come to me

Ahh, SuperCorp Xd I remember this one actually. A friend of mine and I were talking about descriptions, and she mentioned quite off-handedly how she wanted a fic in where Kara’s back was described. I complied… more or less.

Fun tidbit, despite the big volume of my work is obviously set in ouat there’s only 1 SQ fic there as you can see, the others are either SuperCorp or the random one shots I created for Wonderwoman/Lara Croft and The half of it. *sighs in deep thought* I’m also not going to look too much into how almost all of the fics were posted and written back in 2017. Nope, not at all.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why/why not?

I tend to always respond, yup. I truly value comments. I might have gone for spells of time in where I didn’t have the mental capacity to check in old fics because I truly didn’t know what to answer but I treasure every single comment and you all who comment know that I can start to ramble in the answers xd -sorry about that- I really really REALLY love interaction.

6. A fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending:

Ok, Nara, come on, this one is a catch for me. I’ve written angst in far too many fics to remember the angstiest one :P I have the most recent one, though, that is the easy one to think about: Goodbye.Written for @delirious-comfort. I’m just going to say “Kisses with their last dying breath” as an idea of what awaits inside but I’ve written about death and loss and angst quite a lot. There were some I wrote back to SQ with Regina needing to kill Emma during the Dark Swan arc that, to this day, I still love and some others in where Regina is the one that dies, again and again, trapped by magic while Emma watches. I have the loss in mental destruction form and… I REALLY like my angst y’know xd

7. Do you write crossovers?

Not counting Lara and Wonder Woman not really! I think it comes from the fact that I loooove worldbuilding as a whole and some pairings would require all my focus into making the world perfect which in turn would make me self conscious on the OOCness of it all.

8. Ever received hate on a fic?

*snorts* I’ve received hate due to the pairing I’ve written about, how I’ve written about it, the amount I’ve written, how slow or quick I can be, the usage of some tropes, the lack of usage of those same tropes… Let’s just go with: yuuuup.

9. Do you write smut?

I’ve written smut, yeah! But I can already see the pointed looks of some so let’s elaborate Xd I write smut when asked and sometimes when not asked but there’s a part of me I like to call a terrible tease that prefers writing the beginning of a scene, taunt it, focus on what happens before the sex scene per se as I find it more enjoyable to write. The process of escalation is always the best for me to see what can I do it by using both dialogue and descriptors tbh, so I tend to tease more than show.

9. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

A few weeks ago I’d have said: Maybe(?) But trying to follow the trail of some other fics that had been stolen from some friends -I think it was me trying to find more about the page that stole something from your Nara!- I found some pages in where my fics had been reposted. In some it was stated that the person posting the fic wasn’t the author but I had never been contacted in order to see if I’d say yes to such a thing and in some others the page was locked up but I could still see someone was pretending to be the author. I did the thing and got some of those down.

Pointed note: Ask me if you want to post or translate or anything. I will look into you and answer you if you seem honest about the thing. But despite every joke and self-deprecating comment those 500 and then some fics represent MY time so very kindly I say fuck off to those who wish to steal from me and if I catch you… you don’t really want to see me angry, trust me.

10. Ever had a fic translated?

I’ve given permission to some, yeah, but never heard it back from them so I’m guessing it didn’t stick.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic?

I’ve written series alongside other authors as @stregaomega for example. And some others that are unpublished -looking at you @carsonnieve - I’ve also done collabs… but fics co-written in the sense of two authors same chapters I don’t have anything posted I’m afraid :P

13. All-time favourite ship?

*snorts*, I guess the obvious answer is SQ uh? And I do think they were the ones that allowed me to read and write SO much. The one I feel more strongly about, however, is Bering and Wells from Warehouse 13.

14. WIP you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?

All of them counts as a valid answer? But if I only could finish one that would be Arcadia. With A forgotten Promise second and the one I did as an Assassins Creed AU third. (I don’t remember the name so there’s no link, sorry xd)

15. Writing strengths?

Uhhhh, you REALLY want me to say that? I don’t fucking know!! To me everything I write is garbage. I always try to go for the feelings so I guess. Dunno xd I’ve been told I’m good at worldbuilding and to be honest is what I enjoy the most.

16. Writing weaknesses?

Everything Xd Pacing? What I hate the most sometimes is dialogue, I would count it as a weakness but I’m always far too focused on description rather than dialogue. I don’t think it’s a bad thing per se but it’s something that I don’t do as much.

17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

I’m conflicted. Always. Majorly because I think that having bilingual characters in fanfiction is portrayed and expected in a way that I don’t feel it’s honest with how bilingual people -us- talk. So if I go by what I know I do I think it’s not what readers hope to see when it comes to that and if I go for how canonically is hoped to be found I don’t think it’s logical. But that’s me and my overthinking Xd If I have the option I like to do it.

18. First fandom you ever wrote for?

Belice! Or Bella/Alice. Worst first fic ever but oh, well, I’m always saying that :P

19. What’s your fav fic you’ve written so far?

Uhh… Don’t make me do this XD Agh, I don’t know. I’ve always been very vocal about Metallic Ink because I let myself enjoy the process of creating a magic system almost out of zero and that was fun. Despite hating some of the writing process and that I’d do it differently now I think I’m going to stick with that answer. Or anything that had any steampunk-based undertone. To be honest I like more thinking of concepts, I had one in where Emma was a thief and it involved the robbery of a ring that was Regina’s one way ticket to freedom I then later repurposed that I adored thinking about so let’s go with…. Yeah, I love having the option of changing things up a little and focus on how characters would fit in different aesthetics for this one Xd

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. When i read it for the first time I was just on the brink of going to uni, still figuring out what I even wanted to study and this book just wrapped me in a warm blanket and said "it's going to be okay". I love the main characters Frances and Aled, their arcs and especially the really nice and quiet queer rep in this book.

19. a book that put you in a reading slump

The Knife Of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. When I start a book I generally have the feeling that I can't put it away until I have finished it. With The Knife Of Never Letting Go my problem was that I did want to read it but it didn't fit my mood, so I couldn't bring myself to read it but also beat myself up about not reading it until I put it back onto my shelf. So, I basically pushed myself into a reading slump over this book.

21. a book with a red cover

Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers. I enjoyed this book so much but probably not for the reasons most people would think I enjoyed it? The wlw romance was definitely nice and I really liked them being dramatic but also kind of mundane? What really got me though was the strong theme of found family of young adults and queer friendships, that really yanked the yearning hours wide fucking open for me. (I also liked that in the end the book wasn't as much about romance as it was about finding yourself after surrendering yourself to academia for ages and working through your issues.)

45. a book featuring the friends to lovers trope

The Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. I adore this book. It's so long and there's so much incredible world building and history in it that it made reading an untter delight! Coming in it was a bit hard to acclimate to the slow paste but after a while I just settled in and enjoyed the ride. It's a breathtaking story in a breathtaking universe and afaik there's a second part coming!

55. a book with a satisfying ending

Yolk by Mary H. K. Choi. Yolk doesn't really have an ending in the sense of a "happily ever after" but I really loved where the author chose to leave the characters and how she did it. The book is quite different from what I usually read, tonewise, but especially that ending made me leave the book with a warm feeling. (also the cover is yellow and really really gorgeous)

63. a book that actually made you laugh out loud

I would've reccd Red White and Royal Blue but judging by your url you've read that already...sooooo, it's Snapdragon by Kat Leyh! Super cute graphic novel, with a weird and adorable storyline and such lovable characters!

69. your favorite mythological retelling

I haven't read a mythological retelling in ages, so basic Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan will have to do.

71. your favorite LGBTQ+ fiction

now that's just rude how am I supposed to choose?? I'll say it's Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire and Gideon The Ninth by Tamsyn Muir and Loveless by Alice Oseman. I feel very strongly and very distinctly about all of them, if you can get your hands on them my only comment is READ. (and maybe make sure you're okay with gothic sci-fi horror for Gideon The Ninth)

72. a book with a gorgeous cover

Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth. It's her adult gothic horror debut after The Miseducation of Cameron Post and not only is the hardcover just stunning in black and red, it also got illustrations inside!! (And all teh women are queer and it's deliciously fucked up!)

75 a book featuring the I'm not like other girls trope

I think the closest I can come to that is The Lady's Guide To Piracy and Petticoats by Mackenzi Lee. The main character has to unlearn a bunch of stuff really fast if she wants to get along with the only other people that will help her. We have road trips in the 16th century, kidnapping and asshole husbands to be, piracy of course and friendship!

86. a book with an insane plot twist

Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand. Sawkill Girls was my first touch with horror and I have to say I have no idea whether there was heavy foreshadowing. I think I remember thinking that there was something else to come but when the shit hit the fan I just sat there with big questionmarks over my head because I had read the book in a frenzy in one evening and truly did NOT anticipate it. As someone who did not read horror or thriller before this I have to say I was already insanely confused and disgusted by a bunch of stuff that went down. But then...uh. the thing happened and I was just lost. (In a good way though.)

104. a fluffy sweet read

Let's Talk About Love by Claire Kann. It's been a while ever since I read it but it's essentially a cute summer story about Alice who's a disaster bisexual when she sees people she finds cute. Which is a little inconvenient because the new guy at her job is really, really, really extremely cute and she ceases to function around him. There's best friend drama, eating pizza iirc and figuring shit out!

I assume it's either "a book about writing a book" or I am literally supposed to rec a book that is writing a book...I'm going to rec a book that is about books! (because I can.) It's The Girl Who Reads on the Métro by Christine Féret-Fleury and it follows a young woman called Juliette wo gets sucked into an old bookseller's world of life saving, life changing books. A really quiet, really cute book.

the Reckless books by Cornelia Funke! Simply divine stroytelling, a vibrant world and amazing characters! I have to say that I only know the German original so I don't know what the English translation might be like.

um. so knife gang members and people who follow my main, you'll once again be subjected to me being a mess because of lesbian necromancers in space! I've mentioned it before, it lives in my head rent free, it is the one, the only Gideon The Ninth by Tamsyn Muir! It's an insane sci-fi horror fantasy blend where Gideon has to play cavalier to Reverend Daughter Harrowhark I-love-being- an-absolute-pain-in-the-ass-to-Gideon Nonagesimus to help her become an uber-necromancer (like Harrow needs motivation to become even more of a nerd and shockingly good at necromancy) for the Necrolord Prime/Undying Emperor. There's BEAUTIFUL WRITING sprinkled with MEMES when you least expect it. There is incredible toxic codependency and repression. There's MURDER. There's fancy necromancy theorems and DUELS. There's enemies to begrudging allies to ??? Staple your socks to your feet or this book will blow them clean off!

Is there a possibility that Jungkook has a twin flame and is currently on the process of ascension? I was just curious because I stumbled into a reading before and somehow it said that he is strongly connected to the divine world. Thank you in advance. :)

Interesting question...

Firstly, I'll start with 'strongly connected to the divine'... Well this is interesting when it comes to BTS...

From what I've picked up doing readings on them all... They actually all have strong spiritual potential. By that I mean, they all seem to have some kind of latent psychic / intuitive / heightened empathetic abilities... It's actually very interesting to me. They seem to be aware of this on different levels and sit all along the spectrum of whether or not they're interested or keen to explore it at this point lol...

So on one side you've got Kim 'I commune with my angels' Taehyung, with his powerful ancestral guardians walking with him, and Jeon 'maybe I should be a shaman' Jungkook, spilling the tea on the fact that he has precognitive dreams.... And on the other side of the spectrum you've got the likes of Namjoon who, while I'm almost certain has gotten to the point of being open minded enough to accept there are more things in heaven and earth than can be dreamt of in his philosophy *to casually quote Shakespeare like a nerd*, is more on the side of things he can logically reason out than what he can sense or intuit (even though he does also have that gift!). You've also got Yoongi, who is actually so sensitive I think he's even a little scared of it and deliberately has put that side of himself on the back burner to focus purely on the material world and what he wants to accomplish for now. Then there's Jimin, who can sense other people's emotions like a fine tuned device... But, I believe, doesn't like to think too deeply about such matters because they overcomplicate things in his mind and he feels it'd be detrimental to his mental health to dwell on such things (not unwise if you don't have the right guidance and teachers to help you).

Then you've got Hobi somewhere in the middle... I think he's, again, aware he has some kind of intuitive senses, that there's 'something more', but he doesn't have the foundation to guide in him in what it all means and how to tap into it... I think he's openminded to it though and would be willing to hear someone out... Say if someone offered him a tarot reading or astrology reading, I think he'd probably be fairly interested and want to learn more. But... May not actively seek out that information on his own at this point.

And then... Seokjin... Haha... Seokjin... Of all the members, I feel like Seokjin may have the closest thing to an actual defined religion or spiritual belief /philosophy that guides him. I have no idea what that is... But it's something he grew up with and also has continued to develop on his own. What that means is that he quietly does know he's connected to 'something' spiritual / divine and he intuitively allows that faith to guide him in his philosophy on life. But it's all in a very quiet understated way and I highly doubt he'll ever talk about this except in the vaguest terms at those random moments where he gets deep and shows his more serious side.

But you asked specifically about Jungkook... Well! What I've been seeing with Jungkook for a while (if you've read the readings I've done on him you'll see it) is that he has indeed been going through some kind of period of spiritual growth. He is aware of his spiritual gifts, actually believes in them, and did indeed begin to consciously work on developing them. This has been opening him up to the guidance of the Universe, his guides, his higher self... So yes, you could say he's going through a process of ascension. His gifts will become more powerful when he's older as his faith in them continues to grow from receiving more and more confirmation...

As for twin flames... I mean... Maybe? To be honest, while I do believe in the divine counterpart aspect of the twin flame... I think there's been a thing going on online where I see a lot of priviledging the twin flame connection over other kinds of soul mate connections and I don't think that's right. This also seems to involve romanticising some toxicity in these relationships like obsession, codependency, abandonment... Just... No.

That's not what you should be glorifying. I don't care if you feel like that person is your Twin Flame, if all the relationship does is make you feel bad about yourself then... Is that really what you want? Do you really want to see your divine counterpart as a person that treats you terribly? Or do you not think that by loving and respecting yourself to the highest degree first, you will attract the truest and highest love into your life who will also love you on that level and allow you to love them the same because they too are an evolved soul full of love...

Yes... As boring as it may sound, everyone, please... FOCUS ON LOVING YOURSELF FIRST!!! It really is the most important thing. When you have an incredible relationship with yourself, you are actually better able to enjoy incredible relationships with others. Sounds like something a boring great aunt might say, because it's absolutely true.

Anyway, this post has somehow become me ranting at you all to love yourselves... Besides the point. So Jungkook... In my future spouses reading on the members, you'll notice that for Jungkook I saw that he is already spiritually connected to his future spouse and that they dream about each other... That they will 'get' each other and have a fulfilling, healthy relationship... As far as I'm concerned... He will indeed meet a romantic soulmate in the future and that's who he'll marry. Could this also be a twin flame connection? Indeed it could.

Another aside... The reason I say 'romantic soulmate' is because actually, in life, we meet a lot of soulmates and not all are romantic... Some can be your bestfriends, some your family members, some teachers or mentors you meet along the way... The people who have huge impact on your personal growth and development, who help shape who you are, are very likely to be your soulmates. That is, members of the same soul group / family who help each other ascend spiritually.

So, for example, as far as I'm concerned, the members of BTS are all each other's soulmates (not just Jimin and Tae, although how great that they actually acknowledge their bond as such)... But that doesn't mean they don't have others and won't meet others in the future. There's lots of kinds of love in world and romantic love shouldn't be put on a pedestal above all others when there's so much we gain and learn from other connections.

Anyway... Sorry for this long meandering answer to your question... Hopefully it makes enough sense to follow... 😅💜

 Virgil entered back into Logan’s apartment with Roman in hand, seeing Logan and Patton already in the living room. He smiled at Patton but avoided eye contact with Logan. Things might have gone well with Roman, but Logan was an entirely different story.

 He looked around the room. “Where’s Thomas?”

 “Oh, I’m in here!” Thomas popped in briefly from the kitchen. “I figured I’d make everyone dinner while you were busy working out your feelings.” He dried his hands on a small towel. “So, how’d it go?”

 “Wonderfully!” Roman said enthusiastically.

 “Satisfactory,” Logan said, less enthusiastically.

 “It was...good. Really good, I think.” Virgil said.

 “Amazing!” Patton exclaimed, even more enthusiastic than Roman.

 “See? I knew you could do it!” Thomas began looking between them. “So, who’s next?”

 “I want to talk to Virgil next,” Patton said, causing Virgil to worry. Virgil could guess where this was going.

 “I suppose I can talk to Logan, then.” Roman offered. 

 “Oh, you suppose?” Logan muttered to himself, rolling his eyes. Thankfully no one seemed to hear him.

 “Okay, well how about you two just talk out here?” Thomas offered, gesturing to the coffee table where Logan already stood. “Then Patton and Virgil, you two can take Logan’s bedroom.” 

 Virgil nodded. “Alright.” He put Roman on the coffee table before following Patton into the bedroom. 

 Virgil stood awkwardly in the middle of the bedroom as Patton shut the door behind him. His friend then came over to stand in front of him, crossing his arms. Virgil found himself receiving the disappointed look from before. “I’m really sorry Pat, I-”

 “I know Virgil.” Patton cut him off, dropping his hands to his sides and looking at Virgil sadly. “I know. I know you and I know you regret it, right?”

 Virgil nodded furiously. “Yes, I do, so much.” Virgil’s earlier self-deprecation and thoughts came back to him and tears welled up in his eyes. “I-I almost killed them, Pat.”

 “Oh kiddo.” Patton came forward and captured Virgil in a hug, holding him tight. “Shh, it’s alright. The important thing to remember is you didn’t kill anyone, okay?” Virgil sniffed against Patton’s shoulder.

 “You sound like Roman.” Virgil let out a watery chuckle. Patton, for his part, looked intrigued. 

 “Oh?” He had to assume Roman and Virgil were friends now, with how they responded to Thomas before, but he wanted to know what happened exactly. Virgil nodded.

 “Yeah, he...forgives me. Told me not to worry about it and that I’m only a bad human because I was never meant to be human.” Patton hummed, nodding.

 “Sounds right to me,” Patton said and pulled away a little to be able to see Virgil. “Look kiddo, we’re already friends, so this talk isn’t about that. And I forgive you for everything as well, but…” Patton sighed. “I’m sure you know.”

 “Logan.” Virgil sighed and Patton nodded.

 “Yeah. I already talked to him about you. And I asked him to at least hear you out about things. So I’m going to ask the same to you, okay? I know what Logan did to you, to us, was wrong. But Logan knows that now, and he’s apologized.”

 “I-I know,” Virgil said after a moment of hesitation. Patton looked at him.

 “Virgil, both of you are feeling some of the same things right now. I can tell. You both regret what you did but you’re not sure if you can forgive the other for what they’ve done.” Virgil’s eyes went wide, that’s exactly how he felt. Even though he regretted his actions and didn’t feel like Logan deserved them, he was still...upset at Logan for everything he did before.

 But Patton was right, as always. They were in the same boat here, and if he wanted Logan to forgive him, he needed to work on forgiving Logan. 

 “I’ll try, I promise,” Virgil said and Patton grinned.

 “Good. I’m proud of you kiddo.” They hugged again before pulling away fully this time. They stood there for a moment.

 “Should we...go back out now?” Virgil asked, motioning towards the door. Patton chuckled.

 “Something tells me they aren’t done yet. We should probably wait for Thomas to come to get us.” Virgil nodded, looking around the room. 

 “So, whatcha wanna do until then?” Patton thought for a moment, before snapping his fingers.

 “Oh! I never got to really tell you about my trip out with Thomas! It was great, okay, so, we get in his car, right? And then-” Virgil took a seat on the bed, listening to Patton speak with a smile on his face as they both waited to be called back.

 Thomas waved goodbye to the borrowers, heading back into the kitchen. The two looked at each other, not sure what to say.

 “Sooo…” Roman tried to start off the same way he had with Virgil, but Logan cut him off.

 “Don’t.” Logan shook his head, turning away.

 “Wha- don’t?!” Roman looked offended, jogging over to where Logan stood so the nerd couldn’t ignore him. “Excuse me, did you just tell me to shut up? Did you forget the whole point of this?”

 “We’re neighbors, not friends,” Logan said, putting a hand on Roman and gently pushing him away to keep the prep from invading his personal bubble.

 “Yeah, but we have to become friends to appease the writer witches, remember?” Roman reminded him.

 “That whole idea was preposterous to begin with.” Logan pushed up his glasses. “While I had no problem strengthening my relationship with Patton, I see no reason to do the same for you or...Virgil.”

 “Okay, Virgil, I get.” Roman put his hands up in surrender, knowing Logan was still traumatized. “But why not me? What have I done?”

 “Oh, where do I begin.” Logan looked too gleeful for someone about to list off negative traits about his fellow human. “For starters, the very first interaction the two of us have ever had in person was you running into me and harming our respective borrowers, as well as myself, in the process.”

 “That was an accident-!” Roman tried to protest.

 “Ah ah ah, I wasn’t finished.” Logan waved his finger back and forth. “Even before I met you I disliked you. Frankly, you don’t even make a good neighbor. You’re rude with how loudly you blare your ‘tunes’ and disrespectful in keeping me awake late into the night. I haven’t had a good night’s rest since you moved in.”

 “You never even tried to talk to me about this,” Roman argued.

 “I left many strongly worded letters in your post box,” Logan informed him. “But after a period of time, it became clear that receptacle was never checked.”

 “So what, you won’t be my friend because I forget to check my mail?” Roman crossed his arms. “Really?”

 “Hardly.” Logan was far from finished. “Let us fast forward to after that incident. I learn you traumatized Patton,-”

 “I already apologized to him for that.”

 “-break into my apartment, repeatedly insult me, and then insist that I’m a villain for trying to protect my friend.” Logan ignored Roman’s outburst.

 “I didn’t call you a villain for trying to ‘protect’ Patton.” Roman huffed, getting annoyed. “I called you a villain because you were trying to keep two people captive. Again.”

 Logan rolled his eyes. “Then let’s fast forward to today, shall we? When you repeatedly took Virgil’s side despite the fact that he was actively trying to torture me.”

 “I wasn’t on Virgil’s side, I was on your side.” Roman insisted. “I came to rescue you. That’s why I climbed off this table to go after Virgil!”

 “Oh really?” Logan raised an eyebrow. “Then why did you insist I didn’t tell Patton? Why’d you insist I lie and hide the nature of my injuries? What possible benefit could that have for me?”

 “I was trying to keep everything civil,” Roman argued. “I wanted to keep the peace between everyone. I thought Patton deserved some happiness, and I thought Virgil deserved a chance to ...change.”

 “Yes, and that worked out so well.” Logan sneered. “I almost died because of your foolish redemption thoughts. Next time, leave the thinking to those of us with a brain.”

 “Hey!” Roman knew Logan had every right to be angry at him, but that was just rude. “You weren’t innocent as a human, either.” 

 “I didn’t dangle anyone off a building.” Logan hissed, looking extremely tense as he began to shake.

 “Okay, yes, fair enough.” Roman backed up a few steps, giving Logan space. “You didn’t do that. But I talked to Virgil, and he knows he screwed up. Big time.”

 “Stop saying that!” Logan pulled at his hair slightly, tears forming in his eyes. “Stop talking about him like he’s changed or or like he’s not just waiting in there to be alone with me again and- and-”

 “Logan!” Roman rushed over, rubbing at Logan’s shoulders comfortingly. A few tears began to fall from the nerd’s face, but Roman tactfully ignored them as he pulled Logan into a hug. Roman began rubbing circles into Logan’s back.

 “Logan,” Roman said firmly. “Virgil is not going to kill you. Patton and I will stay in the apartment, okay? Thomas is here, too. You have nothing to worry about.”

 “I-I know.” Logan winced, hearing a hiccup come out with his words. He hated appearing weak, but at least Roman wasn’t mocking him for it like Logan would have expected. “Logically, it makes...sense. Virgil won’t try anything with everyone around.”

 “...but?” Roman prompted. 

 “But…” Logan sighed, pulling away from the hug to take a seat on the wooden surface. He pulled his knees to his chest. “It’s just...difficult not to feel afraid of impossibilities at this size.”

 “I know what you mean.” Roman sat down beside him. “I have been scared soooo many times today. By Virgil, by Patton...and by a certain giant rat.”

 “That thing was atrocious.” Logan shuddered.

 “Yeah…” Roman paused, finding the timing right to ask a question he had been wondering ever since that incident. “Hey Logan, why did you save me from that thing, anyways?”

 “It was the right thing to do.” Logan shrugged.

 “Well, that doesn’t seem like a very ‘you’ answer.” Roman teased.

 “I haven’t been feeling very ‘me’ today,” Logan admitted. “Although I suppose that’s the problem, I’ve been feeling far too much today. It’s exhausting.”

 “Does that include feelings...for me?” Roman said hopefully. “Because, y’know, logically, I think saving someone from a giant rat is less of a neighborly thing and more of a...friendly thing?”

 Logan chuckled. “I suppose it...could be classified as such an act, yes.”

 “And does that mean we’re friends?” Roman leaned very close to Logan, eyes sparkling.

 “Ah, not quite.” Logan pushed him back. “I still have one last question for you.”

 “Go ahead, bestie.” Roman winked, elbowing him lightly. 

 “...Why do you hate me?” Logan asked, looking down at his lap.

 “Wait, what?” Roman frowned, leaning back slightly. “I’m trying to make you one of my best friends, why on earth would I hate you?”

 “Back when Virgil was trying to scare me,” Logan winced, “the first time, he asked you for one good reason to not hate me. And you…” Logan looked at his hands, clenching them into fists. “...you came up with nothing.”

 “...oh.” Roman suddenly remembered that he did, in fact, say that.

 “All you could think to say was that I’m manipulative, selfish, and generally unpleasant to be around.” Logan gritted his teeth. “But now that some old piece of paper says we’ll be human again if we’re ‘best friends’, you’re suddenly acting all buddy-buddy.”

 “Logan…” Roman sighed. “I only said those things because I was trying to say what I thought would make Virgil listen. Anything good I said about you wouldn’t have been good enough for him, he’d just shoot it down.”

 “What, so you weren’t even willing to try?” Logan scoffed.

 “I pandered to my audience,” Roman admitted. “I talked about you in a way that I thought would make Virgil agree so that he’d see my point. I was trying to protect you.”

 “Well, you have a funny way of showing that.” Logan pointed out.

 “Okay, fair enough.” Roman conceded. “But you do have to admit that, before, you were all of those things.”

 “I was not ‘generally unpleasant to be around’!” Logan said in a huff. 

 “That one was harsh!” Roman put his hands up in defeat. “I’ll admit, not my best work. I could have phrased it better. But you were, in the beginning, cruel to both of our borrower friends.”

 “But you’ve changed.” Roman continued. “You’re not those things anymore. I know we haven’t spent much time together, but we’ve had our share of good moments. And you’re clearly listening to others, being empathetic, and using your knowledge for good. You’ve made a terrific borrower.”

 “...I do try.” Logan adjusted his glasses. 

 “And you saved me.” Roman reminded him. “Despite the fact you thought I hated your guts, you saved me. You really did do it just because it was the right thing, didn’t you?”

 “Well, yes,” Logan said. “After all, I don’t lie.” 

 “Logan, I’m...I’m sorry.” Roman apologized. “I’m sorry I ever called you the bad guy. You’re a good person.”

 Logan looked over at him. “Really?”

 “Really.” Roman nodded. “You’re a good person, who deserves a decent sleep schedule. So I’m sorry about my music, too, and when everything switches back I promise to fix that.”

 “And I shall promise to approach you with my problems rather than allowing them to accumulate in your mailbox,” Logan promised.

 Roman stuck out his pinkie, wanting to make it official.

 “Really, Roman?” Logan raised an eyebrow. “We’re not twelve.”

 “C’mon, I want to make it official.” Roman gave a small whine. “Besides, I’ve kind of got a thing going right now.”

 “Fine.” Logan entwined his pinkie with Roman’s. 

 “Excellent!” Roman stood up, offering Logan a hand to help him stand. “Friends?”

 “Friends,” Logan confirmed, taking Roman’s offer. He wasn’t sure exactly what a friendship with Roman would look like, but Logan was at least willing to find out.

A bunch of ideas I had for rewriting an entire story from the base concept of “Yandere Simulator”.. The story is really simple and silly, but I think I’m okay with that! I wanted to make some cutesy childhood love story from the concept of a yandere in school experiencing a hectic whirlwind of colorful events and stories that impact her in her journey for love. If she was manipulated into breaking up, game progresses as normal, Target is confused and a little upset… but shrugs it off eventually. It’s far from his first bad breakup. decides to move back or change schools or classes? [ MARCH: transfer student housewarming party, cherry blossoms, White Day ] 002 - Upbeat nerd class monitor who bonds with Target over her kind personality, in her role as class monitor deciding to make sure everything is alright after a breakup for both parties. She explains the reasons to him, and tries to give him tips on how to be more understanding and treat people properly - Target seems to have a overbearing and stereotypically jockish personality that Jimi manipulated to break them up. Of course, 002’s pampering does not go unnoticed by Jimi. Following her elimination… if she was killed, Target becomes scared and very depressed. Game skips to rival 004, Target’s best friend who decides he must step up to make his best bud feel safe and cheer him up by hanging out more… and confesses to him. The class and school is severely shaken up by the death of a kind class monitor… and suspicious of what happened. 003 investigates within the same cycle. 002 cannot be manipulated into ‘breaking up’ - she has no romantic interest in Target, at least at that point. However, Target can be manipulated into 'breaking up’ from her influence so Jimi makes sure she never gets a chance to. 002 is confused and hurt and Target feels angry and mistaken. Game progresses to 003. steps down as monitor? [ APRIL: school festival organized with 002, student elections ] 003 - Alpha popular girl of the school who bonds with Target over their superficial crushes on each other as popular students and the student population’s encouragement. After 002’s elimination, she decides to take the jump and wants to try see if they get along… and wants to know for 002’s sake what happened between her best friend and Target that made them break up - she had thought they were getting along well. Eventually at the end, she will get the name 'Jimi’ out of Target. In the case of her investigation if 002 is killed, she tightens security on the students’ end through her popularity, and wants to get to the bottom of the mystery, but is too shaken by the loss to try to fight 004 for his love and will find answers on her own instead through her ties and by tailing. [ MAY: mid year exams, cca competition ] ughhhhh i don’t like writing the elimination stuff lmao 004 - Target’s best friend who is already on very good terms with Target, wants to cheer up his best friend after his experiences with past Rivals, regardless of death, manipulation through breaking up, or breaking up naturally, and begins hanging out much more together. His infatuation is only amplified and he confesses to him. This is the first true relationship between a Rival and Target. If 004 was killed, I would shit a rainbow. 004 will be the first unkillable Rival as Jimi knows his death will cripple Target. All Rivals from this point on are unkillable. remains best friends! but 004 is heartbroken. [ JUNE: post-exam school cca performance/play, Target’s Birthday, tornado drill ] 005 - 'Tsundere’ prefect who is investigating Target… her slightly awkward and pushy tendencies and goals in suddenly showing interest in a boy, and the popular boy Target at that, are misinterpreted by the masses. She is 004’s brother, and is merely investigating what happened. She uses no such thing as Target’s infatuation to her advantage unless there is no snapping sense into him, and makes it clear he and his gender aren’t her type in secrecy for her personal sake and sanity. At the end of a successful investigation where Jimi fails to interfere, she will naturally pry the name 'Jimi’ from Target’s lips. If she investigates Target and Jimi has killed anyone, Jimi is naturally arrested and her game ends here. If she investigates Target and Jimi manipulated the Rivals and Target to break up, she arranges for Target to be transferred to another class and sends Jimi for counselling. If 005 was killed, I would rainbow a shit. 005 cannot be killed either, due to her role as a prefect and relation to 004. Can be effectively manipulated such that Target will not give her information. Still manages to know Jimi is somehow involved through 002 through 003, but cannot do anything. Teams up with 002 and 003 if either/both still alive. [ JULY - AUGUST: summer break - class beach outing at chalet, Summer Festival ] 006 - Jimi’s teacher who worries for her grades and is aware of her… tendencies, tries to reform her, and talks to Target about how he is affecting Jimi as well. Jimi antagonizes her strongly. [ SEPTEMBER: Thunderstorm season. Jimi falls ill.. probably not due to the storm tho. Tornado warning ] 007 - Jimi’s best friend who does her best to keep Jimi out of trouble and offer other methods of elimination so her friend will not resort to murder and face the consequences. After all Jimi has been through, she sits back no longer. She pretends to be infatuated with Target so Jimi will be forced to confront her and be at a moral conflict to deal with her after all the help and lessons she gave her… 007 confesses to Jimi at the end of the cycle. [ OCTOBER: Takayama Autumn Festival, Halloween, Jimi’s Birthday ] 008 - There are no remaining Rivals in her chase for Target - Jimi has caught his eye now and infatuates him. But Jimi is now deeply conflicted and wants to talk with 007 again. A love triangle is formed. Target is the last Rival against her newfound Target - and he is a yandere as well. [ NOVEMBER, DECEMBER: End of year exams. Winter break. Snow ] – 000 - DLC Rival - Ichiko, Jimi’s older sister needs relationship help or.. something… i actually dunno oops. But Jimi and 007 are dating!! (Jimi’s name is made up of 'mi’, meaning beauty, and 'Ji’, which means second child!) [ JANUARY - MARCH: Cherry blossoms, ski trip, White Day ] ________________________________________________________________

Anyway, I don’t exactly know how this works, so I’ll just answer all the questions my tagger did and maybe a couple more at the end. (wow this is exciting :D)

Okay then.

Name: I’m Konrad, and my gamertag/username is Fluffybombs on most sites.

Height: I’m 6′ 2″ (yeh I’m tall :L)

Hogwarts House: Slytherin. But I’m the Slytherin that always hangs out with the Griffindor kids and doesn’t care about the Dark Side of the Force or whatever. (sorry to all the geeks that just cringed at the cross-fandom reference there, but I stand by the metaphor)

Go-to SSBB character: I played a Kirby main in Brawl, so I’ll always feel comfortable with him, although I probably use Toon Link more often in competitive matches, but since Smash 4 came out, Pikachu is my main, so I’d feel okay playing Brawl with Pikachu too.

Fictional character I’d date: I don’t know, honestly. Dating is weird. I feel like there a lot of characters I’d get along with from all kinds of fandoms, but I’m not sure if there’s any I’d want to date. When I figure out how dating works I might have an idea. :L

Favorite band or artist: I like all kinds of music, and as an artist and budding music producer myself, I have a lot of respect for a lot of different artists, but a few honorable mentions (I suppose) would have to go to Owl City (with his amazing and inspiring music), Tally Hall (the only actual band I listen to), Daft Punk (just because), and Pentatonix (for being amazing singers that inspire me to push my range every day :D)

When did I make this blog: Close to four years ago I guess? Pretty soon after I got my laptop, my sister told me I should set up a Tumblr, so I guess that was around 3.5-ish years ago.

How many blogs do I follow: 896 (Is that a lot? I feel like that’s a lot. :/ ) And that’s with 15,097 likes, as of first making this post, so I don’t know if that a normal ratio or whatever, but there you go.

Do I get asks on a regular basis: Nope! I never get anything! I’ve only ever even been mentioned twice, which is why I was so excited to get this! :D Thanks again! (My followers are good to me, though. :L When I’m regularly posting I get about 15-20 notes a week, so thanks again, guys!)

Aesthetic: Bright artsy stuff, weapons, dragons (woo dragons!), anything with that “valor” type glory, nerdy tech stuff, cute stuff, unironic glitter, really ironic glitter, super dark and legitimately edgy stuff... but with one really lighthearted thing thrown in, super bizarre and random junk, and all of these things together, especially the cute-but-also-hardcore feel, also, tiny birbs peeking out from places. (idk, it’s a thing)

BONUS QUESTIONS So, I’m just gonna add these because I’m legitimately curious and I’m not sure how, officially, this is supposed to work. Answer these if you want, but I guess since all the questions are optional... idk, just... here they are. Favorite emoticon/emoji: I don’t really use emoji that often, and when I can I use emoticons instead, so my favorite emoticon is :L because no one else really uses it, and it pretty much exactly expresses my feelings about everything in existence always. (on another note, it’s weird that text emoji are called emoticons when they actually have the word “icon“ in the name, which implies a picture... but I guess emoji is Japanese... or...? idk I’m not gonna try to understand it, but if someone feels like telling me, feel free) Favorite food: Well, this is kind of a trick question from me, because I don’t really have a favorite food, but I would like to know what your favorite foods are, and I’d also like to say that even though there are lots of foods I like, food is the best when it actually feels healthy to eat. I’m not sure if that makes sense to anyone else, but that’s what I like. Social Label - Are you a geek? Nerd? Jock? What?: Not that this is important, but again, I’m curious. I’m mostly a geek, but I’m enough of a nerd that I’m a nerd to my geek friends and welcome amongst the nerds. I don’t know how strongly established amongst the Internet and Tumblr these labels are, so I don’t expect thems to be definitive. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Pet peeve: I’m kinda surprised this isn’t on here, so I thought I’d add it. So mostly my peeves are related to using poor grammar, or when companies spell something wrong on purpose (Krazy Glue, etc), but the paramount of all of those is when people call LEGO bricks legos (idk why but I can’t let it go). It’s also irritating when people who claim to be serious fans can’t pronounce Pokémon (poh-kay-mon, btw) and other stuff like that, but I feel like maybe that’s different.  Allergies: (I have lots so I want to hear about yours. :D) I’m going to list all my dietary modifications, but technically not all of them are due to my allergies. So, I’m allergic to most preservatives, and hydrogenated oils, and basically everything artificial or synthetic, as well as peanuts (but only a little), and raspberry products (pretty much anything made of or with raspberries, but not raspberries themselves). I also don’t drink milk, because my sister is lactose intolerant (even though she’s the only one in the house who drinks milk now), and I have a hypersensitivity to mold/maybe other things, so I have an allergic reaction sometimes when I eat melon that isn’t super fresh. Also, I don’t eat beef or pork, which is just a diet I grew up on because that is how my mother chooses to eat. There’s no term for it, that I’m aware of, other than pseudovegetarian or something, and my friends frequently think I’m vegetarian even though I’m not. Also, I’m hypoglycemic, but I won’t get into that.

Why did I join Tumblr: Like I said before, my sister encouraged me to start my account, but I had already planned to, it was just a matter of waiting for the appropriate time. I joined Tumblr partly as a consumer, looking for art blogs to inspire me, and people to meet and befriend, but mostly I came here to start my art blog and get my art out there.
