Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply (but non-graphic mentions of canon violence)

Relationships: Emily Prentiss/Aaron Hotchner

Summary: A S7 fix-it in which Emily's trauma is acknowledged and Hotch doesn't want to take her for granted again. (A friends-to-lovers slow-ish burn that also deals with Emily's relationships with the rest of the team, but is decidedly Hotchniss in nature.)

Chapter Excerpt: “Maybe we could just take it in turns – one of us stands in the doorway for a couple of hours while the other takes a nap in this little sliver of hallway light.”

He shoots her an amused look and keeps digging. “I never take it out – I’m sure it’s. . . Got it.” He holds it up and clicks it on triumphantly, creating a little beam of light and pointing it experimentally around the room.

“Well, aren’t you prepared for anything,” she says, impressed. “What else have you got in your bag of tricks?”

“Granola bars,” he replies, producing a pack and holding them up in his other hand. “You want one?”

“Seriously?”

“Seriously.”

A recovering Sith Obi-Wan, specifically from the Setting Suns AU. He is looking at his little family. All of them having been through so much, and are still at risk of more. But for now, they are together, full of love and hope. And it keeps that shattered heart held above the waves, to help Obi-Wan find the strength he needs to put the pieces of himself back together, and stagger his way back home. 

They’re all cheering for him. And he can finally hear it.

tenma thinks he's getting attacked by ghosts and then he gets attacked by Feelings: namely that he would do an unnamed amount of things to cheer kumon up.
