every now and then i remember how we got such vague mentions of a "boy in nevada" who had an immense emotional chokehold on henry, but was literally never mentioned outside of the vague concept of him getting hurt. and i sit here going. hey isn't it weird that scott was never mentioned in tfs despite having gone to school with and learned about av from bob, who henry allegedly knew. and isn't it weird that patty had several scottism lines. and isn't it weird that a character such as scott unknowingly gives the party all the information they need to solve their supernatural problems across multiple seasons. and isn't it weird that in the season where the creels are introduced, scott is nowhere to be found, not even mentioned in passing. and isn't it weird that they would make a fruity little character such as scott clarke and not have him know the other fruity character of henry creel.

anyway. i'm just saying.

I do genuinely think that Scott Summers is an example of a character where he’s clearly autistic even though most writers don’t intend him to be, likely because they’ve met autistic people without knowing they’re autistic...like they took the concept of “serious, socially awkward guy with a strong sense of right and wrong” and went “naturally, he should also hyperfocus on video games, like looking at construction equipment, and constantly be drinking out of straws”

some voice came from a distance across the floor that she couldn’t calculate. but whatever it had spoken was answered, by the feminine voice of the software designated to this office building. an office in which she was currently struggling to regain her consciousness. and even the response from the computer was difficult to discern. barely the faintest sounding of ‘fourteen hundred’ could camille discern from its smooth answer, as though she were outside of herself and hearing it from another dimension. 

and her eyes popped themselves wide open.

in a knee-jerking manner, she lifted herself onto the bend of either of her elbows, and immediately thereafter, camille hissed at the knife-like pain that it sent flashing behind her eyes, as well as the resulting knoll that resounded through the rest of her skull. blindly, she reached for some semblance of solid ground to push herself to at least a position that was upright. but her grip instead came to the handle of a chair, and it quickly spun out of her grasp, leaving her elbow to bang to a landing back on the desk she only know discovered to have been her makeshift bed.
