I Found the Coziest Fall Destinations in Second Life for You
It's the coziest time of the year, fall. Autumn is my favorite season and I wanted to find some sims that really captured how beautiful fall is in the metaverse.
After searching several places, I have 5 of my top picks for Fall 2024 with the links listed (click visit here). You can also get a visual of what the locations look like in this video:

1- Silent Melody: This sim is landscaped perfectly and has many different areas you can explore, visit here.
2- Soul Deep: This sim is very quaint and cozy but does not skimp on the detailed landscaping. It also has a warm café you can enjoy with friends. Visit here.
3- Rainy Café: This spot makes you want to put a warm sweater on your avatar and cozy up with a cup of coffee. You can visit here.

Tonight, I wanted to try something new. I was looking at the destinations guide and was clicking away trying to find a place to explore and came across this little hidden gem on the mainland. When you own a parcel on the mainland it is a little cheaper than owning a region or renting because when on the mainland you can't restart the sim and there are a lot of tiny caveats. But what I love about mainland parcels and locations built on the mainland open to the public is you can explore a lot of cool places in a short distance. More on mainland versus parcels and other land talk in a future post and video.
When exploring this little hangout it truly is somewhat of a private area for people to bring their friends that they meet on Second Life to relax and play some games in a very safe and chill environment it made my ADHD internally scream with excitement. I highly recommend visiting this location. The idea of a multi-page comic about Apollo checking on a young exiled Paris because Hecuba asked him too was beamed directly into my mind like a message from the lord. Controversial Take: the whole 'chosen one' thing in the prequels is completely pointless, serves no narrative purpose that could not be easily filled by any number of other factors, and actually makes the films worse by being included but never actually explored in any meaningful detail other than the fact that it's just. kinda there.

Miguel telling Miles he’s going to hell anytime he gets pissed off enough (breaking into his apartment, getting involved in fights for no reason, starting trouble with Gabriel) but Miles keeps track and eventually shows up with a long paper list that rolls all through the living area & it has all the reasons he’s going to hell on it and he graded it based on creativity, so it’s very obvious neither of them are serious about that sort of thing. Now imagine one time Miles is super tired so when Miguel says “you’re going to burn in hell for putting stickers on me btw” Miles just takes it seriously for a few moments, which gave Miguel 10 new gray hairs with each second that passed. He’s already hollering like an injured dog on the inside and is begging any higher being listening to him to protect Miles’s mind from his poison, to let Miles go through the rest of his life free of him and anyone like him, is telling Lyla to mark him as dead, praying that he either doesn’t get a next life at all and is punished for his sins or if he is to be reincarnated he’d be a perfect guard dog that’ll want for nothing but will do everything, and is running away as I type this. Got so terrified of something that didn’t even happen he became religious for a second. Idk i just really want him to be so. I want him to react in a way that lets you know he’s mentally unwell <3

Was thinking that saw kinda gives me final destination franchise vibes and clearly I'm not the only one seeing as they were in the recommended section at the end
#Horror movies#which is just as well cus those are some of my favourite movies dont judge my poor taste#was looking to see if the next one was in the recommended section or if id have to go back to search#and it was half final destination half other saw movies just not the second one#its the futility of it all. you can try as hard as possible to avoid death but in doing so you have to make the decision as to whether#staying alive is really worth it in fd you have to spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder waiting for the axe to fall#slowly going insane or in saw you have to do something you might not be able to live with anyway you might have to weigh up your life#against someone elses only to not make it out anyway because you cant do all that you need to idk theres just a lot on the weight of a life#i need to watch more saw to truly figure it out
