Thought I'd give your ask a try. I love dad Optimus and son Bumblebee.

How do you think dad Optimus reacts to Bee's potential partners?

It depends on the partners honestly.

- if the partners are both Jazz and Prowl, he’s hesitant but gives approval.

- Optimus pulls Jazz aside and Prowl both together and alone and make it very clear he will use rank and force to make their spark’s miserable if they hurt his bitlet mech in any way.

- He tells Prowl in so many words he will make the stoic mech lose composure and shows Jazz that even if he is a beast in the field, he is no Optimus Prime.

- Of course Bumblebee never finds out, he just happily sits on his sires lap and tells him about his day and how happy he is while the others know just how terrifying Optimus really is as he smiles looking at the two who are statue still failing to look unfazed.

- If its Tarn trying to get with Bee Optimus does not care about peace nor does he care about being civil or having honor. He will make sure Tarn knows to never set pede near his bitlet again. Megatron does not do anything to stop Optimus, he warned his troops, they should’ve listened.

- Oddly if its Soundwave and Shockwave Optimus is down right pissed but does nothing to stop it. Bee is in his rebellious phase and he hopes it will end soon. He bites his glossa in hopes it will be over soon and Bee will pick a nice autobot he approves of. Bee does not. Optimus almost rips his finials off when he sees Bee taking care of Shockwave and Soundwaves sparklings Rumble and Frenzy. They look like a family pod and he wishes it would stop. Its Ratchet that pats his shoulder armor and tells him to look at the bright side, “he’s well protected. Those sparklings nearly offlined a mech for trying to touch him. What do you think Shockwave and Soundwave will do?” Optimus isn’t so against it after that, after all- anything goes to protect his bitlet.

- Optimus out right refuses for Bee to Starscream which leads to Bee running off and Optimus leaking coolant chasing after him. Optimus does NOT want anything to come of this and he can’t live a peaceful life cycle knowing his bitlet is mated to Starscream of all mechas. Until he sees how loving and genuine Starscream can be. He’s still a menace and a scrap screamer with everybot else but for Bee he’s at least tame, bare-able and sweet sparked.

- Optimus honestly puts the least amount of pressure on Thundercracker. He’s civil, plans things, looks at the bigger picture, is not Starscream or the little menace Skywarp. And he easily sees how smitten Thuncracker is about Bee. He didn’t put up much fight when he saw Bee returning those feelings and didn’t object when Thundercracker asked to spark bond with Bee. When TC is seen cuddling with Bee Optimus forgets TC is a decepticon who should not be relaxing in an autobot base with his bitlet wrapped in a blanket in recharge on his chassis while said seeker writes a play dedicated to his bitlet….Optimus actually doesn’t mind this. His bitlet is happy so he is happy.

- last but not least if its Blitzwing…Primus help them. Its every creators worst nightmare to know their sweet, precious gremlin bitlet is being courted by the likes of Blitzwing. The afthole seeker turned triple changer who courts his bitlet in some of the sweetest and most chaotic ways imaginable. Blitzwing draws countless images of Bumblebee in recharge, fueling, fighting and gazing at the stars. He would think it sweet if it weren’t the triple changer he saw half devour a mech for touching his bitlet inappropriately. The only reason he stopped was because Bee demanded him. Optimus was NOT fond of Blitzwing asking for Bumblebee’s servo and spark. Nor was he fond of how gentle Blitzwing could be with his bitlet when it was just the two of them. Optimus will deny stalking them he simply had the same route as they did. Even when he looked through their shared home and watched as Blitzwing made fuel for the both of them every lunar cycle without fail because apparently it was his love language.

-Optimus definitely didn’t break down leaking coolant the moment his bitlet said he was in love and spark bonded to Blitzwing. And no, Optimus didn’t hold Bee hostage in his arms leaking because he didn’t want to let his little bitlet go. He did no such thing.

Basically Dad optimus is protective and wants only the best for his baby bot while also being emotional.

Also, how would others react to it?

Ya know, i had an idea related to the one with Bee having a decepticon dad.

What if Elita and Bee were actually related?

Like, we all seen how similar these two are, from personality to looks, it would only make sense if they were family. I was thinking of attaching it to the idea of Bee having a 'con dad but let's see if i can cook up something different...

So, I suppose the way it happened is that Bee's parents died cuz war when he was a tiny bitty. Elita, being his aunt, took him in and raised him. Bee was too little to remember his parents so Elita did her best to tell him about them when he was older. Besides her, he didn't have any other relatives.

Then, one day Elita had to leave for some mission. She promised her nephew that she'll be back soon... but she never did. Bee was in the middle of trying pass academy. Elita hired Arcee to look after Bee when she wasn't present, when the news of Elita dying on a mission reached them Bee refused to believe. He knew Auntie Eli better than anyone, he knew that she wouldn't just perish like that. Arcee stayed with him until he was old enough to be on his own, she helped him get around in life to the best of her capabilities.

Bee tried to have a normal job like Arcee suggested but it just didn't sit with him. From all the stories Auntie Eli told him about being an Elite Guard he wanted to follow her pedesteps and become one too.

He got into boot camp and then- hell started. Bee was about to quit completely when he met Bulkhead and Longarm. Still, even with the newfound hope he got kicked out. Bulkhead was kind enough to pull him into the repair crew so he won't stay unemployed.

All this time alone Bee started to slowly lose hope to ever see his aunt again... that's until they crashed on Earth.

First year and few months were quiet but then Decepticons came. And wouldn't you know-

The fight was rather messy, at some point the structures on the demolition zone started to crumble and both parties had to run. Team Prime regrouped after the building fell and the 'cons were gone. Except Bee was nowhere in sight. They searched the entire place but there was no trace of him...

Bee woke up in dark place. His frame ached, made sense considering he remembered being hit with rubble while cornered by a giant spider. What he didn't expect was him laying in some form of medbay in a cave and said spider being the one tending to him.

He was quick to jump to his pedes and take a defensive stand. He demanded answers but the femme only told him to calm down and rest. She had that worried and hurt expression on her that Bee couldn't quite place... at least until she said one specific word.

"I wouldn't hurt one of mine, Sunny." She said at some point of their half-argument. Sunny- that nickname was only used by his aunt when Bee needed comfort.

"Wai- h-how do you..?" Bee's Spark seemed to have a seizure as he tried to comprehend what she just said. She only gave him that small kind smile- an expression that gave Bee a painful realization. "...Auntie Eli?"

She nodded and Bee could only run to her and hug her as tight as her could and cry. They talked, Blackarachnia told him vaguelly where's she's been and what she did in all these years, but she never quite told him why she was a spider- all she said was that it was an accident on a mission. Bee felt so sad for her, she went thru so much all alone. He caught onto the little mention of how ugly she was when she was talking and comforted her- she was his aunt always and forever. He even changed the little nickname 'Auntie Eli' to 'Auntie Ari' cuz her name changed.

After she patched Bee up she took him outside. She told Bee to not tell anyone about it so when he came back to base he lied saying that 'cons captured him but he escaped. The others bought it.

And so Bee sneaks out sometime to go visit Blackarachnia. Sometimes they stay hidden and talk, sometimes they go somewhere far to have fun. Sometimes Bee brings her gifts to use or decorate her not-so-little cave-house. One thing about having an aunt who's a scientist is that she can fix you up like a medic, Bee most often goes to her if he has a crash while doing something behind others' backs. Blackarachnia is the type to care about whether he won that race rather than what he did is illegal, spares Bee hearing a scolding for Primus-knows-which time.

They tried to keep the enemy charade going- despite her going rogue on Megatron, she still hated Optimus and his bunch. That's until one particular fight when Starscream showed up- she was hididng from them cuz some stray organic reported suspicious activity and Star showed up out of nowhere and started fighting them. He threw Bee off a tall building, before others had a chance to do something Blackarachnia swooped in spiderman-style and caught him. Starscream fled and she lowered Bee to the ground and started looking over him to injuries, before others got too close she also fled.

Once they got back to base they were wondering what has happened, in their talk trying to figure out why Arachnia would save Bee, said scout slipped.

He ended up spilling that Blackarachnia is his aunt- of course, she used to behave and look different. He told them that she was supposedly dead but he knew better and hey, it was true! She may not be the nicest person now but she's still family.

I suppose Ratchet would still be suspicious of her cuz he heard what kinda shit she can pull.

Bulkhead has heard the full story of Bee's aunt going missing long ago- he's happy that Bee finally found her but at the same time he's kinda worried cuz she is kinda evil.

Sari is happy for him, she feels bad for the gal but she's mostly happy for them to have found each other. She did ask Bee to take her for a visit but he always said he'd have to ask his aunt first. She may have gotten to meet her one time, it was quite a fun.

Optimus... he feels all shocked, stupid and guilty- Elita never told him nor Sentinel about having a nephew. When he first saw Bee he instantly got remined of Elita, he was also the reason she went missing in the first place... he couldn't look Bee in the optic after that.

I think he would give in and tell Bee. He's ask him to speak privately outside and he'll tell him he knew Elita when they were younger. That they went to the same academy, they were on the same team... that he was on a mission with her and something went wrong and he couldn't help her in time. It didn't matter if Bee hated him afterwards, at least he'll take this weight of keeping it a secret off his Spark. To his surprise, Bee wasn't mad at him. In fact he was sympathetic towards Optimus and even asked if he knew anything more about her. They spend the evening talking about Elita and how she used to be, Bee even said some stuff about her new self from the times he snuck out to hang out with her.

So now that the information is out in the open, Bee doesn't have to hide if he wants to go see his aunt. I think at some point, Bee would ask if he can let her come over for some holiday or something. The others are wary at first but Bee told them she's not gonna do anything- Bee told them that she said 'she won't bother them if they don't bother her' and so far she's been sticking to it. No more trouble from her side. It would be very awkward for Optimus tho- like, imagine if she came over for christmas and it was just this tense atmosphere around the two- at least until Bee brings out the drinks and they start to chat... Bee did not know they used to date in academy. "What others do with their lives is not your business... also, you were too young to know this stuff." Arachnia said when Bee argued why she didn't tell him.

I think at some point Elita Guard would visit and also learn the fact Bee is family with her. Sentinel is on the first fire- Arachnia has heard enough of what he pulled with her dear nephew to want to kill him, and keep reviving him just to keep killing him again and again and again. In the end he only got slammed into the wall and nearly decapitated with a threat of making him go to the deepest of Pits if he ever hurt Bee again. Oh, and she also told him she's Elita before that to add to the injury.

Jazz and Jettwins are kinda scared of her, she can be fun but she can also kill you if you make a wrong move so...

As for the ships reactions- Prowl would be worried cuz Blackarachnia is not someone to play with- but she was Bee's aunt and she did save him so maybe she's not as evil? He tries to stay positive for Bee's sake but he always has an optic on her just in case. (If he wasn't dating Bee he'd be just worried for Bee's safety.)

ShockBee- Blackarachnia knows Shockwave. Shockwave knows Blackarachnia. If she learned that Bee and Shock are dating(when he's disguised) she would take him when no one is looking and threaten to do him worse than Blitzwing if he tried anything with her nephew. Being a double agent also meant a treacherous relationship with someone of the opposite faction, she's not gonna take chances and let Bee become his toy. She'll even make him break up with Bee if need be. Shockwave's processor is working on the highest setting, trying to come up with a solution to make peace with all he got going on in his life. Bee thinks Longarm is scared of his aunt but in reality he's actually scared not knowing what to do.

And finally, BlitzBee. I think Blitz would find out way sooner than the others- meaning that Blackarachnia caught Bee alone in the forest just before Blitz arrived at the meeting. Yeah, they tried to kill each other but Bee managed to calm them down to talk. Both were alarmed and confused that the other talked to Bee like they knew each other...

Blitz was shocked when he heard the same person that messed up his processor is his beloved's aunt. Arachnia was more disappointed and worried than angry but she still hid it behind anger. Blitzwing wasn't the best mech and she didn't want Bee getting hurt by this unstable scrapheap... yeah Bee was not having a good time.

Somehow they all made it out alive and Bee got a little bit of alone time with Blitz. Next time Bee was visiting his aunt of course she demanded answers- Bee assured her that Blitz is good to him and won't do anything to harm him.

Blitz on the other hand felt a bit betrayed that Bee didn't tell him but at the same time he understood why. All of his personalities could not have had a harder time existing with one another... In the end he couldn't stay mad at him for having a family so it was all good.

I think Bee would try to get them to ease up so he tries to get them to hang out more like family. It kind of works? There's still some bitterness towards one another but at least they can talk without making it into an argument.

If the others find out about Bee and Blitz, Arachnia would and will force them to let Bee have a relationship and do some not nice things if they don't.

She may be smaller than most of them but she's definitely someone you DON'T want to mess with. She has ways of making folks suffer more than they can imagine and she will do them if it means protecting her only joy in life that is Bee.

I really like the side idea of Optimus making peace with Elita-now-Blackarachnia and them getting back together. Optimus is just trying to be a good uncle and Bee making it an experience to remember (bad) for his amusement. They grow to like each other tho.

Lol this is absolutely hilarious and adorable.

Shockwave fell hard for bee and he's determined to build a life with him one day. The spark break he felt when the repair team disappeared was equal only to the joy that filled him when they turned up alive. Of course he visited at the first opportunity and of course he scooped bee into his arms the second sentinel and magnus left, he simply couldn't resist. His bliss came to an end when he heard about not only starscream but this soundwave mech trying to win his honeybee's spark for themselves. No no this won't stand, he'll handle these vile bugs and prove that bee belongs with him alone.

Starscream fell slowly gaining more and more interest in the little bug until he couldn't even picture himself ruling the decepticons without imagining the minibot at his side or on his lap. Needles to say the revelation he was in love was hard but one he accepted. The revelation that others were aiming to wooe his mate-to-be was an infuriating one. Not just anybots either but megatrons most loyal lapdog and the new overpowered freak. He won’t tolerate these vermin trying to steal his beloved from him. They were made for eachother, fated to rule side by side and starscream would see their destinys fulfilled no matter the cost.

The moment he saw his face soundwave knew bumblebee was meant to be his mate. They were meant to be together, he could feel it in his spark a silent song calling out to his other half. He dreamed of the life they'd share one day and he wrote countless songs dedicated to him. Bee was his light, his beloved muse. Which is why when that screechy arrogant seeker tried wooing his sweet bee he refused to tolerate it and upped his own wooing strategies. When the autobot longarm showed up jealousy coiled in his spark seeing his love fawn over him, an envy that grew worse when the runt revealed himself as fellow decepticon. Decepticon or autobot it didn't matter, they didn't matter he and bee would be together and nothing was going to get in his way

god. I'm thinking of one-sided shockbee again

Love the idea of Shockwave being the one crushing on Bee first, maybe that little crush starts on boot camp. Bumblebee is always around him, trying to seem cool and great at everything, Shockwave thinks it's annoying at first, he can't wait for this mission to end and offline this annoying thing.

But then he gets used to Bumblebee. He actually listens and pays attention to every word that comes out of Bee's mouth, the minibot's grown into him, and he hates it. Bumblebee's annoying, immature, and a loudmouth, traits a bot who's trying to be part of Intel (and also hiding the fact they're a Decepticon) shouldn't find endearing. And yet, he has found himself more than once looking at Bumblebee and listening.

Bumblebee doesn't help the situation at all, he's making it worse. He'd go around holding Longarm's hand to drag him somewhere, or get too close during a simulation while trying to get cover and it makes Shockwave a mess, Bumblebee doesn't even try to keep his EM field to himself, it crashes into Shockwave's own when he gets close.

Toleration becomes something else, it starts making Shockwave go slowly insane about it, he's spending time with Bumblebee after he becomes head of Intel, buys gifts for him or other stuff Bumblebee has shown interest in. Bumblebee's probably aware of more than friendly feelings going on by now, but god they're probably both so stupid about it, no one confesses. ever.

Shockwave is infatuated with the minibot, he can't deny it, Bumblebee continues to plague his thoughts like a virus, he wants to crush him and put an end to all, he wants to hold him tight, wants to feel their spark fields interlace and beat like one, he wants to rip his spark out, it's a mess, and he dug himself deeper into it by indulging his feelings.

I think if Bumblebee ever got sparked the paternity would be between an odd mix. One he could never reveal to his friends as it would brand him a traitor.

He truly does believe in most of the autobot cause but he’s come to learn the original decepticon cause had its points too.

And so it made it all the more easier to find himself in the bed of not one but two decepticons.

Not just any decepticons.

Two of the most powerful and terrifying decepticons and bots known in the galaxy.

Blitzwing and Shockwave.

Bumblebee finds himself disappearing from all optics the moment he finds out of sparkling’s gestation.

His autobot brethern continue battling while keeping an optic out for him not believing his note of, “I’m sorry but I’m resigning. Please don’t come searching for me. One day I will return but until then, may the odds be in your favor.”

Such a cryptic letter so unlike the friendly and outgoing bot alarmed the others but with a war going on they cannot spend every moment in search of him. No matter how much they want to.

On the other side of things the decepticons have noticed the absence of bumblebee but none are more concerned than both Blitzwing and Shockwave.

Neither were oblivious to Bumblebee sleeping with the other they simply shared his time, company and affection when granted on their own respective times. Shockwave would bring Bee to his quarters strictly late into the night and the next Bee would find himself in Blitzwings quarters.

There was a silent agreement between the two to keep their little companion safe and out of harms reach both during his time with them on and off the battlefield.

They were clever in holding back when facing him, as powerful as their shared scout was they were stronger. They appreciated his intelligence and clever tactics to make up for lack of strength and size but it would only go so far and do so much.

So discovering Bumblebee was gone without so much as a word to them and infiltrating the autobot base to find the vague letter left them completely blindsided. Something neither, especially Shockwave, liked.

“His spark signature isn’t showing on any of my private systems,” Shockwave informed the triple changer.

“I haven’t found him in my searches of the sky either,” hot-head growled to the focused and searching mech.

A whirr and Shockwave was greeted with the unusual and worrying sight of a down faced Random.

“Its not like him to do this..do you think someone took him?”

Shockwave was silent for a moment before turning away and clicking faster at the computer.

“To better cover ground we search when I find a precise location.”

“And if you don’t?” Icy wondered in his thick accent.

“That course of action is improbable. I will find his spark location,” Shockwave declared with certainty, “and if someone did take him,” his red optic glared dangerously at the screen as he spoke with a dark tone, “They’ll wish their spark never left the well.”

The drive was long but Bumblebee found himself stopping to rest once more. He’d never found himself having to rest before being sparked but now as he takes a moment to catch his breath and soothe his aching chassis, spark chamber and joints.

He didn’t think the symptoms would start to pile up on him so soon but seeing as he wasn’t just sparked with one but two, he guessed they were taking even more out of him than he originally thought. All the more reason for him to leave as soon as he did.

He could feel the growing curve of his chassis and he could feel his hips already starting to spread. As dangerous as he knew it would be he couldn’t find it in himself to stay. His teammates would be so disappointed and he wasn’t sure what to make of Shockwave and Blitzwings reactions.

As much as he grew to foolishly trust and love them he knew their odd found relationship was no place for news of an upcoming sparkling. He can admit to himself the fear of their rejection and finding out of the growing sparklings within him helped seal his decision to leave.

As much as he adorned loved even, his time with the two, he could never trust them to put their own sparkling much less him above the cause. He didn’t want his sparklings anywhere near Megatron and as much as it pained him to admit he didn’t want them around the others either.

With their sire being decepticons life would not be kind to them around other autobots. He didn’t want the people he knew and loved as family looking at his sparklings with disgust nor did he wish for them to grow anywhere near the war.

He would head to the forgotten base within the deep mountains and take all the energon left behind and open a gate to the closest neutral territory he could find. From there he would make his way further into the neutral zone for added safety.

There were plenty of former autobots and decepticons that lived together who achieved peace on other planets. He could settle there and raise his sparklings. No one would ever look there for him and he doubted Shockwave or Blitzwing would remember or care of his disappearance after a few more weeks let alone months after he was gone.

The thought pained him and he felt a flutter from his spark chamber that brought him comfort he desperately needed. Yet pushed aside after a moments more of rest.

“I promise, little ones, I love you both. More than you’ll know what to do with.”

With a little more energy and a fresh reminder of his resolve he slowly transformed and headed off, arriving at the base a few days later. Grateful for the energon he greedily drank as he rested near the control panel. He would give himself a moments rest before opening a bridge and leaving through it.

His mind and spark couldn’t stop debating hurrying and resting on the other side and sitting to rest just a bit longer. In the end he found himself almost dozing after consuming more energon than someone his size would normally consume.

He felt his spark racing the moment he awoke and he rushed to open a bridge the moment he collected enough energon in a pouch and waited for the bridge to fully open.

He was mere moments away from stepping towards the gate when a space bridge opened behind him.

The sound of two heavy footsteps halting him into place as his body froze into place. Optics wide and spark racing he felt familiar eyes on his back as his door-wings twitched in fear as they lowered to cover him slightly.

His body finally seemed to spring to life as he half turned to look at the two he least expected to come through the gate. Watching as they both kept their eyes solely on him and the glowing gate behind him.

His fuel tank lurched almost moving him with it as he slowly inched towards the gate trying to seem as if he was just getting a better look at the two.

Silence engulfed them as their optics stayed on one another.

Bee hadn’t planned on them searching for him and now here they were. Having found him at the worse opportune time.

How was he supposed to get out of here now?

How could he play this off?

Did they know?

Is that why they came?
