Saw a barber who had a guys w the most luscious middle length hair and he came in asking for going short w a fade and the barber said look I'm gonna do something 1st and if u won't like it I'll do what u want, free of charge.

i was supposed to wait to become visibly unemployable until past a particular date when i was potentially going to have to meet some industry people but shaving my head had a bigger impact on my vibe than i expected

once again apologies for taking a while to get back to any messages from the past week, i got home from toronto and immediately had like five different things scheduled and now i have a bunch of stuff i need to get done before i go back to toronto in like a week so jsyk if you messaged me i appreciate you so much i just currently feel like i'm trying to play solitaire in one of those spinning teacup rides at an amusement park but i'll get everything settled eventually

#i did not end up having my haircut yesterday bc my stylist's kid was sick so she rescheduled to today #which was fine bc yesterday i was still so exhausted i just took a long nap as soon as i got back #got my hair done today tho and i'm very happy with it!!#like i love the look of longer hair but the sensory experience is just so frustrating for me to deal with so i got it cut fairly short #and now it just feels so much lighter like damn you don't even realize how much weight hair has #the only thing i don't like is she always straightens my hair at the very end to make sure the length is even #and at this length the blowout kind of looks like a long bowl cut which is not the vibe at all #but my hair is naturally wavy so i feel like after i sleep on it and shower a few times it'll get much more fluffy

why do I always get hairdressers who are averse to cutting my hair,, "since you cut it yourself in the past, it's uneven, you have to let it grow out more" but I want it uniformly short 😭😭😭 that's why I came here, yk to get it cut??

got another job interview tomorrow. pray 4 me

#it was originally for a busser or server job at a cocktail bar in a luxury hotel but the manager on the phone seemed like she wanted to #interview me for the position of host so. yeah #I’m a little intimidated by that role because I am not the most social person on earth to say the least but. I may be able to get used to it #and I will admit. I am kind of motivated by the pay and tips from being a host. cause holy hell it’s 18 bucks an hour plus tips #and that’s plus tips at a 4 star hotel. where the menu is pretty pricy and the people coming there Well Off.#I didn’t really consider that before but hhhhhhh……………that sure is enticing #hoo boy but anyway. a little nervous about this interview cause I’ve never done a host or server job before #but my conversation with the manager over the phone seemed to go pretty well i think so hey #kibumblabs #oh yeah I also cut my hair short last minute and i can’t tell if that was a horrible idea or not yet #it’s not nearly as finished as I’d want it to be but. here we are I guess #I havent legit cut my own hair (let alone this Much of it) in like. a couple years now I think #I think it looks fine but I’m just hoping I don’t regret it #I know it’ll grow out again eventually but idk #I did this kinda impulsively because of the job interview tomorrow. like I was kinda worried for such a nice place they’d be a little #picky with their appearance preferences and like. I didn’t want it to look like my hair was overgrown and unstyled like it was + most of #the bleached parts are cut off now so it looks a little more sophisticated I guess #but also I’ve been getting a little dysphoric lately because I haven’t been passing despite being almost 2 years on t and I think my hair #being longish wasn’t helping #now you can see my jawline and the haircut is more traditionally masculine and etc so. praying I am not called ma’am or anything at the #store or whatever anymore.

my hair is the longest it's been in like a decade and on the one hand I've been trying to grow it out for years and years but on the other hand it is soooo annoying

#the bottom half is long enough to annoy me but juuuust a tiny bit too short to stay in a ponytail #once it's grown another inch or so it'll be fine but it's sooo annoying rn #like. grow faster so I can get a maintenance haircut and leave my hair alone for the next several years
