Every now and again I remember that Sonic Prime being confirmed as canon within the main games' timeline means that whatever the hell these two had going on during that show is also canon.

Because yes, you can play the "Sonic Prime resets by the end so none of the timeline was affected" card, but that doesn't change the teensy, itty bitty little fact that Sonic and Shadow remember everything.

All of this is canon btw

tbh i think despite some issues with them, the lineage/class-locked factions of origins are probably the best they ever did it. and veilguard trying to center player choice and let every rook join every faction just meant they had to generalise dialogue in a way that means nobody has a good time

#imagine if the veil jumpers had been a dalish clan for elf rook. imagine an actual dwarven faction and the game #having enough dwarf characters that the Reveals feel significant #imagine if the antaam were a faction whose perspective you can explore rather than a faceless enemy #AUGHJJJJJJ #and then the shadow dragons + wardens are a general faction so player choice still exists!!!#for humans i think a chantry faction would be extremely fun. ex templar rook

i think the thing that really gets me about all the "we've got to kill this guy kabru" meme redraws with mithrun is that in the very first conversation mithrun has with laios, he trusts him with, essentially the fate of the world and his life long revenge quest against the demon

ok im just going to say it and yeah its a little negative and no im not saying its "over" but

the handshake thing is a little insulting

like. purposefully so.

when you know there's a card with: "Nandor + Guillermo Kiss?" pinned in the writer's room and you know they expect some people would be anticipating something more emotionally substantial than one of the most commical of masculine handshakes...

and instead of even a hug

you kno, that thing they've been setting us up for a cathartic resolution after 6 seasons of rejection since the very begining...

...we got a handshake (yes, i get the parallel from Nandor’s firing, when they werent able to have even a basic handshake and now they're showing how strong they are together and honestly it only makes me feel a tiny bit better)

like, im not saying its never going to happen since we still have an episode left

but im not going to act as if the damn thing is nearly as emotionally fullfilling as the hug we desperate need
