Luminous Bar, Roaring Heights - WIP

Another (kinda old) WIP of a Roaring Heights lot - Luminous Bar!

I love this lot - the architecture / style is *chef’s kiss*, except for the lack of furniture and décor, and the poor layout when you start playing in this town.

I tried to make it like a proper vintage lounge, with lots of bars, musical instruments, and dining/lounge areas for all the rich Sims in town. Also, I have no plan to change the original features of this lot that I think are already beautiful, such as the walls with neon light displays and the structure itself. I’m just improving upon what’s already there.

Mosquito Cove Makeover ✨

So, I'm late but ya'll already know!

So I decided to makeover Mosquito Cove from Sunset Valley and if you don't know what house I'm talking about then here...

I made over this ugly fulgy little house and made it unaffordable, yeah, I tend to make affordable houses unaffordable, I have no idea why but hey, what can I do?

This house is fully base game, no mods, no CC, no DLC, completely vanilla.

Anyhoo.

You can change whatever you want about the house, I personally don’t care.

My Bob is pretty simple because I see Bob as like, the BEST cuddler so wanted to make him comfy as hell, also couldn’t resist a Bob’s Burger’s nod with a burger shirt.

But couldn’t resist sharing after seeing all the fantastic Bobs tonight.

Anyway in my game Eliza and him are seeing a couple’s therapist and Eliza is working at the local grocery delivery to help out more financially and stop (per the counselor) “trying to control Bob’s actions because you don’t have other areas to release your energy and need for control.”

The Merry Windows Renovation

DOWNLOAD I decided why not remake some Sims 3 house and chose Merry Windows from TS3's Twinbrook,because this my favorite Twinbrook house. And I decided to make a kind of challenge, where each room is made in a random texture (fabric, fur and leather, abstract, and so on).

That lot comletely CC-free. No store,no CC,only all EP and SP.

after ramming my head into the wall a million times i finally troubleshooted the problem with my damn game and hopefully Tami is out of this horrible time loop of restyling the same clients over and over again because my game wouldnt save

lessons i learned:

dont fuck with huge custom worlds unless im certain i have all the required packs. Not having Seasons is a stealth game killer.

DONT clean lot portraits/thumbnails with a save cleaner. Leads to infinite saving purgatory because the game gets frustrated trying to pack the save up without them.

80k MB is where my game saves start to become too large.

dont ever use fast forward mode

use the compact CAS settings in NRaas MC to basically eliminate CAS lag (literally makes a world of difference)

delete .bad saves in the saves folder. delete the cache files in DDCache folder. Turn off testingcheatsenabled before saving.

hopefully my game runs smoothly from now on... but im not taking any chances

Regency Arcade & Casino, Roaring Heights - WIP

Another WIP from my Roaring Heights - lot makeover of Regency Arcade venue from The Sims 3 Store!

The whole venue is beautiful, but it’s still lacking some things, as all Sims 3 venues do. I want to turn this into more than just an arcade, and I think a casino fits the venue and my town so well. The venue gives me a luxurious/expensive casino vibe. Just having arcade machines on the third floor is so redundant and going to be useless, since there’s already a lot of them on the first floor.

In addition to that, the venue also has this tropical Art Deco motif, so I just followed that style for my makeover.

Like all my lot makeovers, I’m not changing the original features that I think are already beautiful, and just improving upon what’s already there.

SO many questions for the LA Chargers decision to use The Sims 2 as a marketing platform in 2024.

why?

2. where did you source your CC??? Who on your team was like "Well yes, I AM familiar with MTS."

3. did you make those outfits yourselves? Because if so, you need to change your graphics file settings because the quality is so low and I KNOW it's not because of your in-game graphics settings. Someone get the LA Chargers PR team on the phone, I need to show them how to fix the texture issue with bodyshop on modern PCs.

4. Why did you include Pleasantview townies??? At first I thought they were just there to fill out shots on public lots but you actually gave some of them makeovers?? Where the fuck are you getting 4t2 converted hairs???

3. Unzip the file (I recommend using 7-Zip, if you don’t have an unzip programme already installed) and place the file into your saves folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves).

4. Open your game and you’ll find a save called ‘lostinsophie save 2.0’.

5. Get to exploring! I hope you enjoy this save file as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it the last few years. It’s been a labour of love and I’m so excited to finally share it with the Simming community.
