So you want to preorder the NEW Batgirl #1 coming to a comic shop near you on November 6?

Well, hopefully, this can help you attain that preorder. So you're doing your part to make sure this series lasts.

The first step is to find your local comic shop. Use a search engine for that most heavenly of place that has comics.

Or if you already know search them online (they might have an online shop), an app, call the store, or visit it in person.

Now I'm using my experience from the shops I visit in the midwestern area. So this could be different in the region you're in the US (or Canada). I have no idea on the best way to attain this book outside the country save Canada. So anyone who can answer that pls chim in here.

I mean, possibly, you could buy it on their website (or their eBay shop) and MAYBE they have international shipping. Then again, if you have a US friend maybe they can do this all for you?

Preorders will begin next month. If you go in person you could put your order in. If you know those who work at the LCS they might think of you and put that in your pull list.

I know one LCS in my area, he is thoughtful enough to sometimes keep a variant that has Cass for me knowing that Wed I pull up I'll nab it. Cause he knows my weakness. That, and Rian Gonzales variants.

Likewise, the other LCS I went too. There was a clerk there who'd put stuff in my pull that she knew I'd like.

But there's always that chance they might not do any of this. So it's best to just do this person next month to guarantee your preorder.

Now let's talk about variants. Some shops if they sense there's "blood in the water" when preordering will order more comics. More comics mean more chances to get the variants (i.e. the Artgerm or Jeff Dekal ones).

There are only two variants that might be problematic to attain that I can foresee.

The holo variant from Artgerm one. Unless there's a comic convention near you that same weekend there's a good chance these might sell pretty fast. It is Artgerm after all.

Unless, your LCS is part of a "larger" chain. So one of my LCSs is a Graham Crackers which is a HUGE midwestern comic shop. So there's a really good chance I'll be able to attain all my variants.

HOWEVER....

The other LCS I go to, while they are my primary pull list really don't dabble much too much in variant covers.

This is because they're trying to make a profit and they don't see being able to make one. At least that's what I was told back when I had Batgirls on my pull.

If they do. It would be two or three copies. Like the last AAPI Batgirls variant. Said my shop owner did secure me a copy even without me asking them because they knew of my interest in Cass.

I've noticed since they "enacted" that policy they do order more of the "hotter" comics. Like I noticed a few Birds of Prey, Batman, and X-Men variants in one visit not too long ago.

Still, I know attaining the 1:25 Skylar Patridge will be next to impossible from them. They don't order 25 copies of a comic (unless it's Batman or Spider-Man).

For that, I'd recommend a larger comic shop chain (or if you know your LCS. They might order enough and you can reserve said copy via them next month).

If not...

Again, I'd recommend a larger chain with their web shop or if they have one via eBay. I've nabbed all the variants I want because Graham Crackers is HUGE in the Midwest.

If you know your shop will have more than 25 copies of Batgirl #1 please preorder the 1:25 by Patridge next month if possible.

Or wait until their website opens orders (usually a week prior to release on a Thursday.

If not... There's always a chance if there's a comic around that period (or a bit after) they might have it to purchase. However, you so won't be paying the original cost of it. 😬

Now here's my overall impression of the release. DC itself doesn't think this comic might sell. I mean they're only doing a 1:25 only for this series. That's it.

That already is 🚨 because we aren't getting a 1:50 like we did with Batgirls #1.

That is why I HIGHLY stress PLEASE PREORDER THIS COMIC! DO NOT WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER 6th! Show your love for this character by preordering the heck out of it! Add this to your pull list!

That said, please go crazy and nab these covers and variants. They ain't kidding when the last Cass solo was over 14 years ago (I'm counting Batgirl Vo1. 2). You've voiced your want. DC heard it. This is you honoring that want.

Cause if not...

Well, I can't say cause in all honesty? The old DC regime is gone. They ain't side scheming or pushing something else behind the scenes. Just this might be it for Cass when it comes to an ongoing solo.

Why I say please do your part. Hopefully, this helps and if not someone better than me can advise you better (and they reply via this post). But this is me doing my best with the knowledge I know.

Just wanted to say the IF is amazing, i just spent 3 days straight binging it and loved every second. Please ignore if it has already been asked but what is all the RO's preferred genre of music? And favourite songs if they have any?

Thank you for the kind words! And I just wanna say, your ask is the final push for me to actually scour through most of my songs on Spotify and finish assembling playlists for Rin, Santana, Skylar, and Jackal 😆 But I had so much fun doing so and I'll keep adding more and updating all of the characters' playlists as I discovered more new (and old lost) songs that fit them.

I have the links to their spotify playlist which contain a mix of their favorite songs and some songs whose lyrics fit them. I don't think I can link too much stuff in one post unfortunately, so I'll make a separate post to announce the rest of the characters playlists later on 😁But I'll try to link one song that either perfectly encapsulate their music taste or whose lyrics fit the character--or at least a song that they'd enjoy listening to.

Also, I basically have to split up my own music taste and favorite genres among all of my characters and I'm running out of genres 😭 But as for your question, I don't think I've answered something like that before--at least not in detail.

Ash enjoys quite a wide variety of genres, but mostly, their go-to are genres that are more energetic and/or aggressive. So, think like Rock, Phonk, Dubstep, Trap, Drum and Bass, Metal, that kind of stuff. But usually, they listen to songs whose vibes and/or lyrics kind of fit the mood they're in at the moment.

Also, fun fact, they did have some kind of an emo phase during their angsty and edgy teenage years 😂 It wasn't really too apparent (like no, they didn't have that typical emo hairstyle or wore those iconic eyeliners), but they just relate to quite a number of the lyrics of songs that can be considered to be emo anthems.

The song that fits the genre they like to listen to and the lyrics also matched their feelings and obsession love for MC is "So Sick" by Johnny Goth.

Rin

As the child of a classically-trained musician, Rin mostly enjoys classical and instrumental music. One of their favorite instruments is the piano and they used to enjoy learning to play it. Maybe in the future, when they won't be so busy anymore, they can pick up their piano lessen again...

Also, they tend to gravitate towards more soothing and calming songs in general because of the headaches they usually got after using their power too much or to see to far into the future. So most of their playlist is filled with instrumental songs, either piano, cello, or violin, or a combination of those.

As for the song that fits them, I'd say "The Belt of Faith" by Jung Jaeil kinda fits their vibe and the gravitas they carry (Yes, the main soundtrack for the film "Parasite" and yeah, I can see the irony 😂 )

Some childhood Glass headcanons to end my day before I sleep! Yknow, one last little gift and hopefully I can post the silly comic tomorrow and then draw more of our beloved psychologist.

WARNING FOR 4231 INSINUATIONS, MENTIONS, AND REFERENCES (none of the s/a mentioned but be aware)

Simon grew up in Massachusetts, his immediate family all have severe Boston accents that he has learned to hide. Except when he’s really pissed then you’ll be able to hear that accent shine through.

His family was pretty anomalous, between Francis having a third pupil in his eye to Simon’s twin having been a medium. All small and easily concealable anomalies, but they were careful to not let too much of it show.

Simon’s twin’s name was Skylar Glass! The two of them used to be identical twins, both blue eyed, blonde hair, freckles all over!

The Glass family was fairly large, though they continued to live in one home all together until the kiddos moved out.

He grew up sharing a room with all of the girls until he came out and was allowed to stay with the boys eventually. He took Francis’ old bed as his own.

Simon grew up homeschooled until they figured out he was somehow non-anomalous. Then the kid was sent to public school by his own request, where he joined Theater and found his love for acting and music!

His family cared for chickens, bees, goats, and had a large garden. They lived in a fairly secluded area so all the animals and messes, granted it was a smaller rural area anyways. So nobody minded the eggs the Glass family passed out when their hens laid too many.

He was bullied at school a lot, between being trans and from the “weird family” but he never told anyone. Simon was so desperate for human connection and theater he kept his abuse to himself.

Simon did in fact call the cops on a few parties out of pure spite, and sat on the curb across the road eating popcorn and watching the show. He made sure to stay out of site from the other students so nobody knew it was him who did so. Either way, he only really called the cops on the parties his bullies hosted, it was more fun that way.

His sister died when they were both 9, and Francis ran off with his girlfriend when he was 8. He lost his two closest family members close to the same year. It was the sadness he gained from that which caused him to want to help sad lonely people.

Skylar died of acute Leukemia. Doctors tried to save her, but the cancer progressed too fast. Simon promised to her on her death bed he’d stay alive and do cool stuff so she cant haunt him and see all the cool stuff. Like skydiving.

He was a picky eater as a kid, he’s gotten better as he’s grown but Simon refused to eat his greens.

Simon has always asked a lot of questions as a kiddo!! He was so curious about anything and everything, to where whenever Francis babysat him, he would bother Francis about it. If Francis didn’t answer he’d simply go to Lilly! She was always super nice, with her flowers and hooves and that smile!

He wishes he killed Lilly when he had the chance. So that his cousin didn’t have to become what he is today.

He sometimes got scared at night and crawled into Skylar’s bed to cuddle her or ran to Francis. Simon could always rely on his cousin, who would hold him and tell him stories of stars and magic. He remembers how Francis would make the milky way appear on the ceiling and made the shadows move like puppets across the walls. Simon always felt safe with Francis.

When Francis left, Simon was devastated. He went to the woods, to the park, everywhere. Calling Francis’ name. He kept putting up missing posters well into his teenage years, when he finally stopped. If only he paid closer attention to the occasional passerby, he may have spotted familiar eyes.

Female Reader x Cole Walter

~Flashback. Four months ago~

Today was the day that you and Cole found out the gender of your baby, Katherine wanted you guys to have a gender reveal, but you decided against it because none of your family would be there and you didn't want any of your friends (Grace and Skylar, obviously) to go because if they came, then they'd know and you didn't want them or anyone else to know.

So, you and Cole drove to the hospital, when you guys arrived you sat in the waiting room until the called your last name, leading you down the hall to the room where she started the ultrasound, they looked at the screen seeing their beautiful baby.

You stared at the screen in awe, once again, it was habit, staring at the pictures, you were just still so shocked at the fact that you were even pregnant as was Cole. He looked down at you smiling, he was mesmerized. 

"Would you like to know the gender?" the doctor looked at the two waiting for the answer, "Yes please," you excitedly nodded, "It's... a girl!" she smiled, your heart dropped, you and Cole were having a baby girl, the gender didn't matter to you but now that you knew, you were excited to be the mother a baby girl.

Cole tightly held your hand smiling at the screen and kissing your forehead. 

And that was the day they found out that they were having a baby girl.

Cole had kept his promise, he had been helping you throughout everything, holding your hair back as you threw up, made you food (especially your weird cravings), gave you foot and back massages (your personal favorite) and forehead kisses. He was like the perfect boyfriend, it was as if you were living a fairytale life, you just didn't have a big castle, a tiara, and big pretty dress, but you didn't care for any of that stuff, you didn't need any of that stuff you were happy with family you had with Cole.

The Walter's, Katherine especially had been there for you whenever you needed her, she'd call off of work just because you needed something, which you appreciated, but you felt as if it wasn't necessary, the only time you ever really needed her was when your water broke while Cole was at school.

You see you weren't at school anymore because after a few months of being in school, you decided it would be better to pull out of school and do online, you didn't want to go to school while pregnant and get made fun of, so you sat home and did school, you didn't go out much either, not wanting to see people from school and them question you about what happened. The only ones who knew were the Walter's and their kids and your aunt.

~Flashback of a few days ago~

You came upstairs from the basement craving some Nutella and as you grabbed a spoon you felt water running down your leg, looking down at yourself confused, you thought that maybe you had peed yourself, that happens to some people when there pregnant but then you realized that wasn't the case. 

You immediately called Katherine, who rushed back to the house. You then called Cole; you knew he probably wouldn't answer since he was in school, but you prayed that he did. When it stopped ringing you heard his voice, "Y/n, hello?"

"Cole. Cole! oh my god, Cole," your breathing was uneven as he spoke, "Are you okay? What happened? What's wrong?" he worriedly asked in a whisper, "My water broke," you breathed out, you heard Cole speak but it wasn't to you and then it was, "We'll be there as soon as possible." he promised, you started grabbing everything you needed and called George as instructed, he was outside with the horses and when you called him he immediately grabbed everything you guys needed and started driving you to the hospital, he tried to calm you down, you were panicking, you needed Cole to be there to calm you down but he was at school and you prayed that he'd hurry.

COLE'S POV

"I have to go, all of us do," he looked back at Danny who looked at him confused, Cole jerked his head to the front of the class as he spoke to his teacher telling her that he needed to get home, Danny followed after the boy as he ran out of the classroom, "Text Alex, Isaac, Nathan, and Lee, we need to go. Now."

Danny was confused but he could tell Cole was panicking and did as told and texted the four telling them that Cole was freaking out and that they needed to go, Cole started the car waiting for the four, "If they're not here in ten seconds, I'm leaving," Cole told his brother as his thumbs nervously tapped the wheel, "They're here," 

The four hopped into the car and Cole immediately started reversing and speedily drove, "Can you slow the fuck down?" Isaac questioned, Cole was driving like a maniac, and they were all holding on to something of out fear, Cole ignored the boys and continued to drive like an idiot, "Okay, can you tell us what the hell is going on?" Isaac asked, Lee nodded in agreement as did Danny, Alex and Nathan, "Y/n's water broke," 

The boys swarmed him with questions asking she was okay, "I! I-I don't know," his voice was loud and then it was barely above a whisper, the boys were shocked by his sudden outburst, but they understood where he was coming from since he was panicking.

Y/N'S POV

You had reached the hospital and was immediately taken into a room; everything was going by so fast that you barely knew what was going on but that all stopped Cole arrived with all of the Walter's excluding the younger kids. You didn't remember anything other than him telling you that he loves you before the big push.

You fell asleep soon after (about 15 seconds after), you were so exhausted from the push that you fell asleep leaving Cole with the baby. But you were soon woken needing to feed her. "Do you have a name?" Katherine asked the two as you and Cole, you looked down at your daughter and then Cole who spoke, "Lakelyn May Walter,"

It was a different name something Cole had suggested and at first you didn't like it but then you slowly grew fonder and fonder of it and decided to use it, "That's beautiful," she smiled as George placed a hand on her shoulder.

"You can hold if you want?" Katherine's face light making grabby hands as I handed her my baby. Watching as my mother-in-law held her.

A few hours later the Walter's excluding Cole had left, you needed to rest, and you couldn't sleep with everyone there and wanting to hold Lakelyn, everyone had gotten the chance to hold her, and you and Cole had sighed the birth certificate.

Before you drifted off to sleep with Cole right beside you, tightly wrapping his arms around your waist he spoke, "I love you and this baby so much and I promised you that I'd be there for you and Lakelyn, and I plan to be there forever, if you'll let me?" you looked at him confused, "What are you saying?" your tone was tired and you were out of it, "Will you marry me?" you thought you were dreaming but when asked again thinking you hadn't heard him the first time, you looked up him shocked, but you would be a fool to say no.

You sat there pretending to think about it for a minute, you looked down at Lakelyn and then thought about the Walter's and how you felt like you were already apart of the family, and then you turned to Cole, pulling him into a kiss, he kissed back and you responded, "Well, I do like the sound Y/n Walter, so I guess," you playfully shrugged, he laughed at you and pulled you back into the kiss, "I like the sound of that too."

i give most of my fem personas aesthetics very similar to aika/lucy/skylar/lovett (cutesy, lots of pink/pastels, ribbons, etc etc). which of ur ocs would probably fw this style most? would it be aika/lucy/skylar/lovett themselves (or would they think it's too similar?)?

Kaine: His sisters a girl failure- but I feel like thats different because like.. its his sister; with user. He's a little bit of a bully tbh Thinks its cute + reduced the likelihood of user having other options outside of him! Will make them cry on purpose sometimes- emotional sadist :3

Lovett: More doting; User being a loser means they're also sure to not abandon him or find another person outside of him ! Very swery and soft in a manipulative way ..somewhat

Fizzel: Always scaring user, makes user cry but comforts- in his own way! I think he'd find it funny tbh!

Skylar: keeps users self esteem down so he's their only option- Re-enforces the failure aspect and loser-ness :3…. makes it easier for them. might trigger events to cause tears / trigger user's sensitivity just to comfort them.

Gayle: rolls his eyes, very snarky about it- kinda in a "you think YOU have problems?" way- might be comforting but in a very backwards way. he isn't good with stuff like this t-t

Clarimond: Finds it funny, always spoking user or prodding user, doesn't undertand human emotion and likes playing with it no matter how much she likes user. She views humans / ect, as durable and would find it funny - Probably thinks user is un-matable to other humans and likes that LOL

Bastian: Cries with user- bro is always a cry baby sensitive boy failure- they are getting NOTHING done! Might try to comfort but get stressed out !

Axel: I thik the only time Axel would be soft and nice is with Bastian- with a user in the scenario instead of Bastian, he's always prodding and like triggering them to tears or isolation- for his own benefit- finds it cute though. he loves a good failure, again, like the others, it makes everything easier for him xD

Akia: re-enforces that user is a loser and beneath her, watchers user cry and offers her handkerchief - ect. very tsundere with it. "omg… well yeah, your life sucks but at least you aren't ugly" type shit asfjaishf

Lucy: confused by it, when user cries over things easily hes confused… doesnt understand but provides her comfort and stuff. tries to get user to leave the apartment with him. ect !

Jeremey: white knighting every negative mood, "whomst hurt you mi'lady" - might make users mood better just by being cringe 💀💀💀 Question Two:

Aika, Lucy - ect would fuck with it. and Lacie too!

I think most of my ocs would like it with some exceptions- Noah might be bitchy about it and snub his nose- I think if it were like cutecore / l0-lita (censoring because the word gets flagged for some reason?) type deal he'd be more into it

Axel might find it nauseating / probably wouldn't like it… Dallas might think it looks weird, Bastian isn't into it, Ves'ra thinks user looks like a poodle moth..50/50 if he likes it, Melvin depends, Everette might like it but might not, Beau doesnt understand the fashion. Question Three: Uh I can't think off the bat who wouldn't be- but there probably is a handful who wouldn't like it; For sure though ? Waylon, Gayle, Noah (maybe...), Aika, Akio, Dallas (somewhat), Cecil, Alessi, Beau, Damien & Davion (a little), Clarimond, Lacie Question Four: Lol- assuming I ever made a a malepov Alessi- he'd be forcefem, Kaine, Noah is like 70% straight but the other other percent he'd be HEAVILY into forcefem :3, Axel finds it hot lol so yeah, Veronica, Dallas, Akio maybe!, Maél Definitely.

seeing stars and say yes were originally supposed to be one fic spanning seven years and obviously that didn’t happen because it turns out seven years is a long fucking time

but there’s one deleted scene from the time between that’s near and dear to my heart in which Chuckie was gonna be working on some trade school related homework to do with geometry (cause if you’re gonna build houses you do have to understand spatial relationships) and maybe it’s taking a while

and Will sits down beside him and looks over his shoulder and starts pointing out the answers— and this becomes their first real argument that we see. obviously it’s ripping off the organic chem scene with Skylar in the movie because I think it’s something we see over and over from Will, that it’s SO easy for him and he just doesn’t get how other people have to work so much harder at it— and he really does think he’s helping, is the thing

because for him it’s just oh let me do this in fifteen seconds so it’s done and we can spend some time together— almost like “oh don’t worry about it I’ll do the dishes” XD— because for him homework was only ever busywork

but for Chuckie, this is something he has to do himself, because he’s gotta learn this stuff, and it kinda feels like— what, you don’t think I can learn this? you think I’m too stupid to figure this out on my own? because I think for a long long time he’s been struggling with the idea that he’s not good enough for Will in the same way that little league and patriots games and Southie itself aren’t good enough, and that’s part of what lead to the California thing in the first place

I also think that, over time, instead of using sayings like 'oh my god' or 'jesus christ' they would start swearing by the Old Masters instead, not Aelius specifically mind you, but all of them as a whole. Thing like 'by the old masters' or even just using 'masters' in place of 'god'

1. I think the mammalian skin + tropical coloration is very neat, but is the coloration only gradients/simple solid divides (ala orcas), or is it possible for them to have patterning?

2. Is the coloration of their tail determined separately from the coloration of their upper body?

3. ARE there common upper body/tail "type" combos? ex. "hedgehogs tend to have more dolphin style tails etc."

4. Thinking about the glitter thing their skin have 🤔🤔🤔 I wonder if it's like. an evolutionary thing that makes them harder to spot underwater

5. Is the back fin size indicative of anything or is it just biological rng???

I imagine them only having the gradient/ solid divided. The only time patterning would possibly occur is if they aren’t fully Merfolk (e.g. crossed with a Sirelian or maybe even a Melusine. Not the Nymphs/Nereids though but that’d make more sense once I post about them)

Yes, the colouration of the tail is independent from the body, like the classical mermaid design. Reason being is that it’s one of the visual identification markers that someone should focus on if they want to know if they are looking at a Mer or a Sirelian. So Sirelians would have tails that are coloured similarly to the upper body, not Merfolk.

Honestly I haven’t thought about common combos being a thing. I was just gonna go with what kinda vibe the character had lolol. For example I paired up Skylar’s with a dolphin because I wanted her to be fast underwater (for lore reasons).

I guess you could say it’d help them be harder to spot since the glitter thing only works when there’s light shining on the tail. So you’d only be able to see the shine relatively from above or if they are out of the water completely, never from below.

So I wanted to follow the whole dorsal fins are bigger on males thing but I also know I’m probably not gonna follow it that well. But there is genetic rng regardless of whether I follow that rule or not.

The max I’m running with is the Twilight Zone, no Mer would choose to live past that or try to dive past it, lest they succumb to the ocean pushing them down. This is also the reason why I’m still on the fence about the whole gills situation. Anyway, you’ll mostly find them out in open waters but sometimes you might find some colonies near coral reefs and the like.

Oh!!! Also I saw you asked about how sidefins would affect maneuverability and such in your tags and yes!! It does!!

The way I imagine it for Mers is similar to the spine thing Toothless has from httyd 2. In the movie those extra spine things helped with making tight turns and such. I imagine the pectoral fins that Merfolk have help in a similar fashion, and can additionally act as an emergency break. Though not having them doesn't mean they can't do those tight turns and emergency break and stuff, its just that its easier for those who have them to do so!

Hey can you explain the main plot of keepers?

I'll do my best, I hope this will answer your question 😂

So the main concept of "The Keepers" is a collection of stories that play with the crossover trope. It's hard to say exactly what the plot of the keepers would be at this point in the development, since we're still coming up with the plots of all the individual stories that make up the crossover.

Each of the main characters has their own story they were/are the protagonist of, who's "happy ending" is interrupted by the instability of the universe. They end up meeting and teaming up when they realize they all share exactly the same villain and he's still trying to win.

The main villain is a scientist driven mad by grief, still trying to make his vision a success despite all the loved ones he's lost along the way as a direct result of his research. His end goal isn't necessarily bad- bringing magical equality to the world- but ends don't justify the means and he's tearing apart the universe trying to make everything "fair".

Functionally, Skylar is the main protagonist, mainly because his story kicks off the plot time-bomb but also because he's kinda the one rolling around the multiverse inadvertently collecting allies. (Despite the fact he vehemently insists he's a one man show lol) The other Keepers are Ketsler, Felix, and Betty, but as you might have noticed the cast is pretty extensive. 😂

Skylar's story is a folk fairytale style adventure of two brothers trying to learn what it means to be a Man and also break a curse, but unfortunately the end of the world happens.

Felix's story is a sci-fi/fantasy superhero story set in a dystopian future about family, friendship, and what true bravery is. The main character accidentally becomes the leader of a planetary revolution and meets his true love.

Ketsler's story is about "the prophesied one" struggling to fulfill his role when deep down inside he's just another regular dude, but thankfully the power comes from outside and not within. He, his cousin, and the med student they befriend try to figure out what the source of the evil magic is and it goes terribly wrong.

Betty's is still in the early stages, so I don't quite know what the themes will be, but she is an orphan with psychic powers that lets her hear other's thoughts... including the thoughts of ghosts. In search of a way to use her powers for good and also find a place where she belongs, she moves to Earth and joins the interplanetary organization that studies and controls the supernatural. She certainly meets some supernatural things. :)

There are a Lot of other characters, but those are the main four. Other significant persons would be: Gigi (Skylar's brother), Grace (Felix's wife), Vokku (prince of the Fae), Rhyin (Ketsler's cousin), Haru (Ketsler's apprentice), Vinni (Rhyin's girlfriend), Edmund (the bard from Thistled Rose of Glishern) and the kids from the Ageless War wip.

It's a. Really big story because it's kind of like a 12 book series, so there's a lot of stuff still up in the air that could easily change next week or two years from now, but that's how it stands currently.

Hi! Welcome to my blog, it’s a bit messy and I tried my best to tag everything to make it easier to search stuff since I’m not even sure whether the search function in Tumblr is functional 😭 But I’m glad you’re enjoying my story and reading the asks I’ve answered so far! ☺️

As for the jealousy stat, the numbers are actually not numerical variables, so they won’t increase or decrease. They are actually string/text variables and I assigned each number to specific RO and combination of ROs that MC has flirted with 😆 So, for example, if Ash’s jealousy stat is “4”, that means they are jealous of Skylar, if it’s “10” then they’re jealous of both Santana and Skylar, and so on. I could’ve just used alphabets maybe, but I went with numbers 😭

So, yeah, it won’t decrease or increase in the normal numerical sense, but it might change as the story progresses if your MC decides to flirt with other ROs in front of the RO.

Right now, the consequences I have in mind is it would probably lower your romance variable with the affected RO if it keeps on happening later on 🤔 And your RO might ask you about it if you go down their hangout route.

Ohh...That's a tricky one...I thinks softest is a tie between Rhys and Sam. Ah! Or maybe even Daianira or Hypnos! When I first think of softest, though, my brain goes to Rhys. He's always been my precious little boy. Toughest? Jazzi or Chell, maybe E. I think Chell comes to mind first, though.

2) Which Muse would blow through $1000 quickly?

Aurelius Bridgers...Because $1,000 is nothing to zem.

3) Do any of them have nicknames? Is there a meaning behind them?

Rhys & August have a couple of my fave nicknames I've written for characters. Rhys' being Reese Cup & August's is AJ or Almond Joy. They typically only really use those names with each other, like sweet little brotherly affections, but August will use AJ with people he's close to...Samuel's nicknames include Sami, Sam, and even Arthur which is his last name or Arlo when he was a kid. Aurelius has lots of little nicknames mostly because people struggle with spelling and/or pronouncing his name and it's just easier that way--his stage name is Aurora. Daianira goes by Daylight or Day because they find it pretty and it's easier to pronounce/spell for most humans. I also gave that to them because it reflects their personality very well--sunshine. Elizabeth goes by "E" because they hate their name and it's more gender neutral, which they prefer. Leo (@gollldrush) calls Ambrose Rose which I find absolutely adorable. Jhazala typically goes by Jazz or Jazzi again just to shorten the name. Some people call Demetrius Demi, but don't ever say it to his face because he'll smite you. James hates nicknames and would be absolutely livid if anyone called him Jim or any shorter version of James. Shimi goes by Sami or Sam sometimes as a sort of "human" name in homage to his transition from living with xyr jinn brethren to living amongst humans.

4) Are any of them up-to-speed on the latest trends? Anyone more old school?

OK that last one was long, I'll try to make this quick: Sami is very old school. Aurora is trendy as hell. Rhys is old school or at least just somewhere in the middle because he doesn't care. August is a mix of old school and trendy--he likes what he likes and sometimes that's old stuff sometimes that's new stuff. Chell, Ambrose, Luna, Demetrius, Jazzi, and maybe Skylar are all what I'd consider up-to-speed on trends. James, Shimi, Sarai, and Day are all a little old school. The rest just don't care so they're probably aware of trends but don't pay much attention to it.

5) Who has the best relationship with their siblings?

Rhys & August, of course.

6) Karaoke night! Who is likely to grab the mic first and bust out a tune?

Aurelius, for sure! Godly voice and proud of it. August would try to talk Rhys into it, but he'd definitely decline and August wouldn't push him too much. Luna would probably jump up there too. Maybe Ambrose because they'd probably be drunk as all get-out.

7) Who is least likely to enter a beauty pageant/model?

Oh gosh, um...Probably Rhys & August would be least likely, but also Elizabeth, Day, and obviously Sarai would require a lot of convincing. Hypnos probably wouldn't either and probably not Hermes.

8) If your Muses visited a haunted house where actors scare you, who would panic and who would be unfazed?

Muses that would panic: Sami, Hypnos, Day, Ambrose, Luna (but she'd be enjoying it), Aurelius (also probably enjoying it just a little)

Muses that would be panicking on the inside: Shimi, Rhys, August, E

Muses that would be unfazed: James, Sarai, Demetrius, Hermes, Zagreus, Chell

Muses that would be kicked out for punching an actor: Chell (maybe if they happened to spook her), Elizabeth, Skylar, Jazzi

9) Are any of your Muses particular about taking certain modes of transportation?

Rhys takes the bus or bikes a lot because he can't drive. He definitely prefers biking over bus, though, and is known to bike in the rain so long as it isn't storming. Aurora loves to take his convertible whenever he can have the top down. Sami prefers not to drive even though he can so he'll take the bus sometimes. Day will usually walk because she can't go very far anyway and she's taken a couple of taxis but has definitely gotten in trouble for not having money to pay for the trip.

10) Share a little-known fact about any Muse.

Oh gosh...but I have so many muses with so many little facts! Here, I'll throw a few out there... Rhys is trans-male--something that I've gone back on in the past but recently brought back again because it just feels right for him even though his faceclaim isn't trans. Sami doesn't talk about it at all or even know how to put a name to it, but he's definitely queer in terms of gender, which is why I use different pronouns for them even though they would never ask someone to do it because they're still learning. Aurora has a verse that's technically his canon in which about 10 years from his main verse he contracts a deadly disease that is extremely rare and most typically developed in demi-gods and basically dies in his mid-thirties! Little known part of that is that it's also the same disease that killed his mother.

As for why I can’t stand Skylar - Girl there’s a lot of reasons. 1. I also think her vibes are kind of weird and obsessive when it comes to Marshall? Like she’s always using his music in posts, posting about him, etc and I find it a little weird how she’s always tied to him. Which brings me to reason 2. Shes so dependent on that man musically it’s sad. And I feel like he’s depended on her too when he doesn’t even have to be. Like every concert she’s there performing. Every song that needs a female vocalist, she’s singing. She’s always talking about her collars with him and it’s weird as F*CK. Like we get it. You and Marshall made music together. We get it that your on his albums. We get you go in tour with him. NEXT. 3. He keeps using her as a vocalist… I’m so tired of hearing her voice bro. Like deadass. At first I was like okay. I won’t disagree that she’s talented because she is. She can be. Her music writing skills are phenomenal. But her singing… hang it up please. She is SO mediocre and bland it’s actually insane. She is BORING. Her vocals are the same old same old, her stage presence is lame. She stand in stage in one spot singing and moving her galea’s to look at him and the crowd but goes no where. She doesn’t move, she is just boring. And I hate to say this, but he could do SO much better for his albums. There’s so many good vocalist out in Detroit and everywhere else. Why doesn’t he hire them? He used ONE new vocalist that was a black woman and that shit SLAPPED. She ATE DOWN on that song. Then never used he again. Went back to Skylar’s vocals. 🤨 3. She’s keeps saying she’s working in stuff but it’s just repetitive. Like how many times are you gonna re-record different version of Love the way you lie? 4. To wrap it all up, she’s giving work wife. It’s giving he keeps her around because he feels bad for her and her situation. It’s giving why the fuck can’t you find another vocalist it sing in your songs? She’s just boring and over hyped to me. I think she should stick to song writing but that ain’t my business 🤭.

Man’s as for the Christianity thing, I don’t think it’s so much so as a US thing or him being a born again Christian (that’s the first I’ve ever heard about him being one). Like I get where he’s coming from bc I’m kinda the same. I don’t think he’s always been super religious or anything by any means but he’s always had faith. He doesn’t go to church on a Sunday or read the Bible but he got respect for the man upstairs and believes. He’s just not overly flamboyant about it if that makes sense. I just think with the track (Use This Gospel) he tapped into his faith for the sake of the because we all know Kanye is more into that genre and is way more open about his views. He’s mentioned God/Christianity in his music before

Mmmmh. I never gave Skylar that much thought but... Yeah. Makes sense. It IS true that while she is a talented songwriter, her vocal skills are nothing to write home about (in my humble opinion). She sings prettily but it's always sort of the same and some of Em's music could be more impactful if he put someone on there with a better voice/vocal range.

Thanks for answering the Christianity thing. I think I read something about him being a born-again Christian and that is what made me wondering. But it is true that he's mentioned his beliefs before. I'm kind of the same too. But anyway, This Is Gospel is an amazing song so I'm happy he is on it !!!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy my silly little stuff! Ok ok let me think how do I start this. There is a bit of a mess with it ok. So there's a lot of them lol and a few different stories. Most of them are a collab with my sister @meadow-roses

Thistled Rose of Glishirn. The first one! It's about Aithus and his sister Kloe, and the most annoying guy Edmund. They go on adventures trying to save their country and do right regular freedom fighting. Jailbreaks, interrogation, speeches, betrayal. All the fun stuff. Oh and it's also set in a fantasy world.

The Keepers. This one is so big. It follows mainly four characters (Skylar, Ketsler, Felix, Betty) who find themselves with magic and unable to die. Shenanigans has they bop about helping people and witnessing horrors before meeting and almost becoming friends! And good thing too because the horrors just get worse! They have to face off with a too-powerful evil wizard, bent on reforming the world to his vision.

Ageless War. It's the end of the world. The universe has been at war and destroying itself for hundreds of years. You're either a war veteran, an outlaw, or dead. The three main characters team up and maybe actually become friends. Mitz wants revenge. Nico wants freedom. Miao wants answers. Things get fun when they find the first android, created over a hundred years ago.
