Small Intestine: The organ, myofascial and energetic meridians, related muscle and referred pain pattern (circle at the center) I’m still working on sinew /myofascial planes, like that of the deep back arm line fascia correlations versus the Dr Goodheart related muscles. Not an acupuncturist, so maybe one can help me here, but I’m trying to wrap my head around it. First glance, the related muscles, in this case, abs and quads, seem to be more related to the organ, while the sinew to the energy channel. When someone with celiac disease ingest gluten, their body overreacts to the protein and damages their #villi, which are very small finger-like projections found along the wall of the small #intestine. When the villi are injured, the small intestine can’t properly absorb nutrients from food.
