Firstly, a big thank you for your patience during this lull in new content and your continued engagement across our other socials at this time. The Lumifox studio has been going through a pivotal transition period, and in the interim we have not had much to deliver to our dearest audience.

Our next chapter with this studio will be one of exploration and personal discovery, finding new ways to apply our creative talents and passions. We have committed ourselves to our newest project: The Tales of Noone, an original story which we have been diligently working to visualize and bring to the world of animation.

With updates for this project being close on the horizon, we plan to again be regularly active on this platform and have new posts for you all weekly. Hueniverse: A Colorful Challenge

Hey Tumblr fam! Just wanted to share some thoughts about our game, Hueniverse, in case you’re into indie games or just like seeing what devs are up to.

What is Hueniverse?

Hueniverse is our addictive color-matching puzzle game. The whole idea came from wanting to make something simple yet engaging, where you can really test your eye for color. Your goal is to sort different hues in the correct order. It sounds easy, but as the shades get more subtle, the challenge ramps up, making it a perfect brain teaser for anyone who loves colors.

Relaxing Yet Challenging

We wanted to create something that felt relaxing but still offered a real challenge. One of the coolest things is how each palette can go from easy to "okay, I really have to focus now." It’s all about sharpening your color perception, and it’s super satisfying when you get it right. We’ve got endless puzzles, and it’s easy to pick up if you’re looking for a quick break or want something to really dig into.

A Big Thank You

We’ve got 36 downloads so far (which honestly feels surreal to me—shoutout to all of you who’ve tried it already!). It’s a small number, sure, but it’s 36 people out there enjoying something we made. And that’s a big win for our little team. If you ever decide to check it out, I hope you have fun and maybe even find a favorite color that changes how you see the game.

So this is my spot in the new house. It is roomier that my last area (with the exception on losing my sewing machine), but there is a problem. The only place my sewing cabinet could possibly go, was right next to the open fire. No good for sculptures that are having their finishing fabrics on! I ended up boxing all my work up and feeling lost as to how to proceed. While I pondered this dilemma, I diversified a little into some experiments with clay, something I have always wanted to try. It's always good to have a few creative avenues, so you can switch attentions when you get a creative block. I have now realised that it shouldn't be too much of a problem, if I make my sculptures up to their basic forms in this environment. Though I will still need to solve the problem of finding a space to finish them off. Now the warmer weather is here, the fire is getting much less use, so hopefully I can get a bit more opportunity to complete a few, assuming my colour blending experiments yield results. Being that I have two sculptures in boxes, awaiting their final colours, I decided to start another, you can see him sitting on my desk.
