Lemonade - Bethy's Cucumber Basil Lemonade

Lemonade with cucumber and basil is a cool variation on the classic summertime libation.

I like think that Bethy's Sun n Moon would prolly try to snatch her back so the first time it happened-

*the entire family hanging out in the garden.*

Eclipse: *smiling whilst braiding Bethy's hair*

Bethy: *happily playing with the ears of her new bunny stuffie that she named Martha*

Yn: *reading a book*

Sun + Moon: *still sad that Bethy is anxious around them*

Bethy's old dads rush in and attempt to snatch her but Sun quickly points his sword at them

Bethy's old dads quickly jump back into the universe portal

Bethy: *curls up in Eclipse's lap* I wanna go back inside now *sniffles*

-- in the castle entrance--

Bethy's eclipse: WHY CAN'T I HAVE MY CHILD BACK!? IT'S NOT LIKE I ABUSED HER!

Moon: BECAUSE YOU'RE STILL USING HER IN A REVENGE PLAN!

Bethy's Eclipse: SO!? IT'S NOT LIKE A SEE HER AS A TOOL!

Moon: SHE'S SIX YEARS OLD! IT'S NOT OKAY TO USE HER IN A REVENGE SCHEME REGARDLESS!

--Later that night--

Eclipse: *goes full Wolfy boy on Bethy's eclipse because she ran into their room crying cuz he snuck in and tried to snatch her*

(context: eclipse had to explain to Bethy that he was using her in a revenge scheme so she felt betrayed by her eclipse and wants NOTHING to do with him.)

Yn let Bethy stay in her bed that night because she didn't want to stay eclipse because that was in the same bed as Sun n moon

-- another late night kidnapping attempt --

Bethy's Sun and Moon: *attempts to climb in thru the window while she's sleeping but gets clung back off into the portal by blue magic*

Moon glares at them but his eyes soften at the small child sleeping soundly in bed, hugging her bunny Martha.

The lunar emperor pets her head smiling softly but that smile turns into a frown as Bethy shrinks back from his touch in her sleep.

"N-No..Papa.. d-don't hit me.. I-I'm sorry.." The child whimpered in her sleep, jerking away from Moon's touch, her sleepy mind thinking it was her Moon.

The emperor removed his hand with a sigh, his eyes sad as she relaxed as soon as the contact with him ceased.

"I hope one day you'll accept Sun and I as your father's and..that you'll learn you don't need to fear us.." Moon muttered, taking a seat on the edge of Bethany's bed to keep watch just to make sure those two IMBECILES didn't try to sneak in again.

The Princess would go full murder queen on Bethy’a old parents. She knows what’s it like and doesn’t want this sweet little girl hurting like she had.

So she agrees to a truce with her own parents and starts keeping Bethy by her side (only though if the sweetheart doesn’t mind!) and keeps an eye out for any pesky “fathers” and or “uncles”.
