Unzipped
Tumblr media
Pairing: Yeosang x staff!reader Genre: PWP, teeny bit of fluff Rating: MA Summary: Yeosang's desperate to get off and you offer your throat. Word Count: 1.1k Warnings: language, oral (m. receiving), cum swallowing
Mixtape Track: Dream by wavycake f. def.
Tumblr media
Yeosang had everyone fooled. Strangers would look at him and assume he was the shy, quiet type. His friends thought he was mouthy, annoying, and crafty. None of them would ever guess he was insatiable.
At first it bothered him. Randomly getting hard in the weirdest places or times made him think there was something wrong with him. He’d try his best to curb his lewd thoughts, try to match the image people had of him, but sooner or later he’d be sneaking off to take care of his dick. One release could hold him for a few hours, just long enough to scheme on the next place to touch himself.
This time he was planning on slipping into a supply closet near the parking lot. If anyone caught him coming out of it, he could just say he was looking for the bathroom and got turned around. Happens all the time and no one would think anything of it. The others were milling about as the stylist team helped them dress down to leave. He had a few minutes to disappear and rub one out before they got in the van.
He slipped out the door confident no one had noticed. Two lefts and a right and he stood before the door to his relief. As soon as it shut behind him and he was plunged into darkness, his fingers were working on his zipper and clasp, easing the pressure on his dick. Just as he was about to stick his hand in and fish the needy bastard out, the door opened.
“Yeosang, what are you”
Light flooded the small space as you stood there, eyes wide with what he could only guess was horror and disgust fixed on his hand in his pants. So he panicked. His only thought was what would happen if someone saw you standing there. His body moved on autopilot and grabbed your wrist then yanked you into the closet with him, shutting the door behind you.
‘Well, now what, genius?!’
The awkward silence that followed was enough to make him consider running away, changing his name and going off to live on a llama farm somewhere with no internet.
“This isn’t the bathroom.” You whispered into the darkness.
His mind went blank for a second. “No, it’s not.”
More silence. “So, why are you in here? With your pants unzipped?”
He honestly had no idea how to answer that. “I was…” No, really. Head empty, no thoughts, just the insistent throbbing of his cock in his pants. “I just needed…”
And like the absolute angel you were, you put two and two together and saved him the embarrassment. “Oh, I see…” Your smartwatch lit up, briefly illuminating the concern in your expression. “We’re leaving in, like, ten minutes.”
Well, shit. He’d need more time than that to get his erection to go away. The idea of walking around like that was far from pleasant. Perhaps if you bought him some time—
“If you want, I can help you.” He could sense you moving, arms up doing something to your hair. “A quickie so they don’t notice.”
He nearly choked on his spit after sucking in air for a gasp. “How-how would you help me?”
He felt your hands on his hips as you got on your knees. “With my mouth. That’s the safest option we have right now.” You gave him a moment to reject the offer before pulling at his pants. He had to cover his mouth when he felt your hand close around his dick and guide it out. It felt amazing to have someone else touch him. Those first few strokes made his legs shake. When your warm, wet mouth closed around the tip he nearly fell over. It was both embarrassing and a relief to know he wouldn’t last long from your touch.
“Oh, fuck.” He bought a shaky hand to the top of your head as you licked at him, tonguing his weeping slit before going for it, sliding him along your tongue until he reached your throat. “Holy shit.” His other hand went to the wall for support as you started bobbing, holding his hips as you pulled off then stuffed him back in your mouth. It was like he was being shocked then wrapped in a fluffy blanket the way pleasure pulsed through his body. He bit his lip to keep silent but as you worked him deeper and deeper down your throat, swallowing around him over and over, he struggled to contain himself. By the time you had a steady rhythm going, he was on the verge of calling out your name between pants for air.
You pulled off just long enough to destroy his concentration. “Cum in my mouth. I’ll swallow it all for you.”
‘All for you…’ Fuck, he wished he could see your face. He wanted to remember this moment forever. His pretty coordi-noona on her knees, mouth stretched around his cock, swallowing every last drop of his cum. His body seized up as he came, pushing in as deep as you allowed and holding you there while his cock pulsed with each spurt of his cum. And you swallowed like you promised, he could feel your throat working around him. When you finally pulled away, he was spent, energy depleted as if he’d run a marathon.
“You okay?”
If he had the time, he’d return the favor immediately. Head that good deserves to be rewarded. “Yeah, much better now.” You politely tucked his soft dick away and helped zip his pants back up. He insisted on helping you to your feet and fix your hair. You laughed shyly at his closeness when you felt his fingers tracing your lips for any excess. He couldn’t stop himself from brushing his lips against yours and stealing a quick peck. “Thank you so much.”
“No worries.” You patted his cheek. “But we should go before Joong sends someone to find you. Wooyoung will never let you live it down.”
His shoulders drooped as he nodded. “You first. Text me when the coast is clear.”
“Gotcha.” You quickly disappeared out the door, giving him a quick glimpse of your hardened nipples. Though he did his best to not show it, he knew he’d be thinking of you whenever he got off from now on.
Unless he could talk you into some time alone later…

Tumblr media
The sky was beginning to lighten with a soft blue shade, the kind that usually means the weather’s going to be decent, even before the sun comes up.
He turned his head toward the door when he heard soft, steady footsteps in the hallway. There you were, hair pulled up in a high ponytail and, to his surprise, completely ready to join him in his routine. You stopped next to him, adjusting the strap on your smartwatch, dressed in tight athletic wear that hugged every curve with shameless confidence.
Before he could throw out a sarcastic comment —and you knew it was right on the tip of his tongue— you beat him to the punch.
“Morning, love.”
He rolled his eyes with theatrical flair, like that simple nickname caused him actual secondhand embarrassment. But he didn’t say anything just yet. He just gave you a quick once-over, that sharp, head-to-toe look — like a diagnostic.
“You’re gonna freeze your ass off dressed like that,” he muttered without even trying to hide it, grabbing his towel and slinging it over his shoulder.
Rin pulled ahead effortlessly, his long legs giving him the advantage without even breaking a sweat. He glanced over his shoulder with a half-smirk, the kind that could get on your nerves with how damn confident it looked.
“You good, or are you gonna die before we hit the first kilometer?”
“Not all of us have deer legs,” you shot back with a grin, pushing to keep pace even though your thighs were already burning.
“Excuses. I hear ‘em every day at the gym,” Rin said, mocking.
Twenty minutes later, you reached the spot where he usually turned around. Rin came to a stop and turned to face you just as you bent over, hands on your knees, your chest heaving like you’d just run from a warzone.
Rin let out a short sigh—that mix of fake annoyance and real affection only he could pull off. He wasn’t gonna let his girlfriend collapse on the sidewalk just because she was too stubborn to quit—though, knowing you, you’d probably try anyway.
He didn’t say anything at first. Just placed a steady hand on your lower back, right where he knew it would help you straighten up without straining anything.
“Come on, up. Keep your back straight,” he said in a low voice, almost gentle, but with that no-bullshit tone that brooked no argument.
One hand went to your stomach, not pressing, just guiding.
“Inhale through your nose… slow. Feel your diaphragm expand, not your shoulders. That’s it,” he murmured, watching you follow his instructions with effort.
“Don’t make that face, Y/n. You were the one who decided to tag along. I was fine running alone,” he teased, even as his thumb started tracing lazy circles on your waist — a gesture that gave him away.
“Shut up, Rin. Just… give me another second,” you muttered, voice still ragged.
When he noticed you weren’t about to collapse anymore, he gave you a water bottle.
You took it and drank eagerly, relieved as the water eased your dry throat.
“You don’t have to keep up with me,” he said, voice lower now — almost like a confession.
Your answer came fast.
“I can do it.”
He smiled, not in a mocking way, but with something else behind it. Something more complicated. A kind of tenderness wrapped in irony.
“Stubborn…” he murmured, thumb brushing your cheek in a slow, soft caress. “Either way, I was gonna walk home.”
Liar.
You knew better. Rin didn’t walk.
He always used every second, pushed every limit. But there he was. And he would do it. For you, he’d slow down. Let you win. Wait without complaining.
Hell, he’d carry you home if you asked him to, no hesitation.
Because even though Rin was a creature of strength…
With you, he had that other side.
The one nobody else ever got to see.
The one who spoke low and touched your cheek when you thought you couldn’t keep going.
The one who lied a little, just to make you feel like you were keeping up.
The one who didn’t say I love you all the time… but showed it in every step he took right beside you.

Hello! I love your overwatch fanfics. Could I request an Overwatch x gn reader fics? Reader takes some OW ladies to the mall. Which shops would they visit? What would they buy for themselves ( and their s/o?) Would they go to a coffee shop, or restaurant there? Characters I would be interested in are Mercy, D.Va, Widowmaker, Kiriko, and Tracer. But if you only write about the first two, that would be good enough for me. Thanks in advance.
Overwatch Mall Dates
-(seperate) mercy, dva, widowmaker, kiriko, tracer x gn!reader
Mercy
The glass doors of the shopping mall slide open as you and Angela step inside, greeted by the cool air conditioning and the hum of chatter from shoppers passing by. A gentle smile plays on her lips as she takes in the lively atmosphere. She’s dressed in casual yet elegant attire, a soft cream-colored blouse tucked into high-waisted jeans, her golden hair tied into a loose ponytail.
“I haven’t been to a mall in ages,” she admits with a chuckle, adjusting the strap of her crossbody bag. “But this will be fun, ja?”
You nod enthusiastically, already envisioning all the stores you’ll visit together. She reaches for your hand, her fingers warm as they intertwine with yours.
Mercy, being the brilliant scientist she is, is naturally drawn to technology stores. As you step inside one filled with the latest gadgets, her eyes light up with curiosity. She walks up to a display of smartwatches and picks one up, studying it with interest.
“These have come a long way,” she murmurs, glancing at you. “Do you have one?”
You shake your head, and she grins. “Perhaps I should get one for you. It would be good for tracking your health!”
You chuckle, knowing she’s always looking out for your well-being. Eventually, she decides to buy a sleek, high-tech fitness band for herself and a matching one for you. She playfully fastens it around your wrist before pressing a quick kiss to your cheek.
“Now we can monitor each other,” she teases.
The next stop is a large, cozy bookstore. The scent of freshly printed pages and coffee from the café in the corner fills the air. Mercy instinctively heads toward the medical section, skimming through various books on neuroscience and cutting-edge medical research. You can’t help but admire how dedicated she is to her work.
But she doesn’t just stick to medicine. Her fingers trail over the spines of novels, and she eventually picks up a beautifully bound collection of poetry.
“I love poetry,” she confesses. “There’s something so soothing about the way words can help heal just like medicine.”
She flips through the pages and smiles. “This one is for me.”
Not wanting to leave you empty-handed, she urges you to pick something out as well. Whether it’s a novel, a graphic novel, or even a journal, she insists on buying it for you.
“A good book is an investment,” she says warmly. “And I would love to hear your thoughts when you finish it.”
Mercy isn’t overly concerned with fashion, but she enjoys looking at elegant and practical clothing. She drags you into a boutique filled with stylish yet comfortable outfits.
“Try this,” she says, holding up a soft sweater in a color she thinks would suit you. “I think it would look wonderful on you.”
She watches as you try on a few items, offering small nods of approval. When she picks something for herself—a simple yet sophisticated blouse—you insist on buying it for her as a gift.
She raises an eyebrow but doesn’t protest too much, her cheeks slightly pink. “I suppose it would be rude to refuse a gift from my partner,” she teases, kissing your cheek.
After all the shopping, you both decide to unwind at the arcade. Mercy isn’t one for video games, but she’s intrigued by the claw machines and lighthearted challenges. You guide her to a two-player shooting game, and she smirks.
“This should be easy,” she muses, gripping the plastic gun. “Precision is my specialty.”
And she proves it. With swift reflexes and sharp focus, she beats your score effortlessly. She turns to you with a triumphant smile. “Perhaps I should join Overwatch’s gaming division?” she jokes.
She also takes an interest in the claw machines, her competitive streak showing as she tries multiple times to win you a plushie. When she finally succeeds, she hands you the soft toy with an accomplished grin.
“For you, my dear.”
After hours of walking, Mercy suggests a break at a charming little coffee shop. The two of you settle into a corner booth, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. She orders a classic cappuccino, while you choose your preferred drink.
She sighs contentedly, stirring her coffee. “Days like these are important,” she murmurs. “Life moves so fast—we forget to slow down and simply enjoy it.”
You nod in agreement, reaching for her hand across the table. She smiles, giving your fingers a gentle squeeze.
You both talk about everything and nothing—your favorite parts of the day, funny moments from work, dreams for the future. There’s no rush, no urgency, just the warmth of each other’s company.
As the day winds down, Mercy looks at you fondly. “Thank you for today,” she says softly. “I had a wonderful time.”
She then tilts her head playfully. “Same time next weekend?”
You laugh, nodding. “Absolutely.”
D.Va
You meet Hana outside the mall. She grins when she sees you, adjusting her oversized sweatshirt, a soft pink that matches her signature colors. Her brown hair is tied into twin pigtails, bouncing with each excited step she takes.
"Oh my gosh, we are gonna have so much fun!" she exclaims, practically dragging you forward by the hand. "Where do we start first? Gaming store? Snacks? Ooooh, maybe we should hit up the arcade right away!"
You laugh at her enthusiasm, letting her take the lead. "You pick, Hana. It’s your day too."
She gives you a mischievous wink. "Then buckle up, babe! This is gonna be the best mall date ever."
Hana naturally starts heading toward the gaming section of the electronics store, eyes lighting up at the sight of new releases and high-end peripherals.
"Look at this headset!" she gasps, picking up a sleek model. "This would totally up my game—well, not that I need help, but it would be nice."
You chuckle. "You want it?"
She hesitates for a moment before smirking. "I mean... it’s not like I need it, but… okay, yes, I totally want it. But I’m getting you something too!" She spins around and scans the shelves before grabbing a game she knows you’ve had your eye on.
"Fair trade?" she asks, offering it with a bright smile.
You take the game, nodding. "Deal."
Next, she tugs you into an international snack shop, eyes gleaming at all the colorful packages.
"Oh my god, look! Korean honey butter chips!" she exclaims, grabbing a bag and hugging it dramatically. "These are my childhood in a bag. You HAVE to try them!"
She also stocks up on some Japanese Ramune sodas and a variety of candy, tossing a few surprise treats into your basket as well.
"We’ll need these for later," she says, winking. "Movie marathon later at my place?"
You nod eagerly. "Absolutely."
D.Va isn’t usually one for high fashion, but she loves comfy clothes and statement pieces. She pulls you into a boutique filled with stylish streetwear and casual fits.
"Oooooh, look at this hoodie!" she squeals, holding up a pastel-colored oversized hoodie with a cute bunny design. "Do you think this is too much?"
You shake your head. "It’s perfect for you!"
She tries it on, striking a dramatic pose. "Guess I gotta get it then! But only if you pick out something too."
She helps you browse, insisting on finding something that makes you feel as comfortable as she does in her new hoodie. Eventually, she picks out a piece of the same colour—maybe a jacket, or even socks, anything to subtly twin with you.
"Now we’re an unstoppable duo!" she laughs.
It wouldn’t be a date with D.Va without a trip to the arcade. She beelines straight for the rhythm games, cracking her knuckles with a confident smirk.
"Hope you’re ready to lose," she teases, already stepping onto the dance pad.
Despite your best efforts, she absolutely demolishes you at Dance Dance Revolution. She’s practically a blur, moving flawlessly to the beat.
"Not bad, babe," she teases, ruffling your hair. "But maybe I should coach you?"
You get your revenge at a racing game, where a well-timed drift secures your victory. She gasps in mock betrayal. "HOW?! I am literally a pro at this!"
She pouts but laughs, shaking her head. "Okay, okay, you got me. But next time, I’m totally getting my win back."
Before leaving, she spots a claw machine and gets that determined look in her eye. "Wait. I need to win something for you."
After several failed attempts, she finally snags a plushie—a tiny, chubby bunny that she eagerly hands over to you.
"There! Proof of my love," she declares, eagerly awaiting your reaction.
You smile, holding the plushie close. "I love it."
After hours of fun, the two of you decide to take a break at a bubble tea café. She orders a taro milk tea with extra boba and suggests you try something new.
"You always stick to the same flavors," she teases. "Branch out! Try this one, it’s my favorite."
She steals a sip of yours before you even get a chance to taste it. "Mmmm, not bad," she hums. "But mine’s better."
You both sit by the window, sipping your drinks and watching people pass by.
"This was fun," she says, resting her head against your shoulder. "I needed this. Just a chill day with you, no responsibilities, no stress."
You squeeze her hand, and she grins, nudging you. "We gotta do this again. Maybe next time, we’ll bring some friends and make it a full-on outing. But don’t worry, you’re still my favorite person to goof around with."
As the sun starts to set, she stretches and smirks. "Sooo... still on for movie night at my place? Snacks and cuddles included?"
You nod, grinning. "Lead the way."
Widowmaker
The air in the shopping mall is thick with chatter and the soft hum of background music. The neon lights from various storefronts cast colorful reflections against the polished floors. As you step inside, Amélie follows beside you, her gait elegant and deliberate, her golden eyes scanning the environment with quiet scrutiny. She wears a fitted black turtleneck, dark skinny jeans, and heeled boots—an effortlessly sophisticated look that makes her stand out even in a crowd.
“I do not understand the appeal of malls,” she says, folding her arms as she surveys the bustling scene around her. “Too many people. Too much noise.”
You smirk, nudging her playfully. “That’s why we’re here together. To make it more tolerable.”
She exhales softly, a hint of amusement in her eyes. “Very well. Lead the way, mon amour.”
Amélie isn’t one for frivolous shopping, but she does have a taste for the finer things in life. You guide her into an upscale fashion boutique, where the air smells of expensive perfumes and the racks are lined with designer pieces.
She trails her fingers over a sleek, navy-blue dress, tilting her head slightly as she examines the fabric. “This is elegant,” she murmurs, seemingly lost in thought.
You watch her with interest. “You should try it on.”
She gives you a look, arching a delicate brow. “Perhaps. But only if you find something as well.”
After some searching, she selects a deep wine-red scarf for you. “This will suit you,” she states simply before making her way to the fitting rooms.
When she steps out, the dress hugs her figure perfectly, and for the briefest moment, a small, almost imperceptible smile crosses her lips as she meets your gaze.
“Stunning,” you say sincerely.
She smirks, running her fingers through your hair. “You are not so bad yourself.”
Next, you find yourself in a specialty perfume boutique. Amélie takes an immediate interest, her sharp senses attuned to even the subtlest of fragrances.
She picks up a deep violet-colored bottle and sprays a tester strip, bringing it close to her nose. “Rich. Sophisticated. Hints of night jasmine,” she notes aloud, offering the strip to you.
You inhale and nod. “It suits you.”
She selects a second bottle, a lighter scent with citrus undertones, and holds it up to you. “And this one… it reminds me of you.”
The intimate moment is not lost on you. She purchases the jasmine fragrance for herself and, to your surprise, buys the citrus one as well.
“A reminder of today,” she murmurs, tucking it away in her bag.
At your suggestion, you step into a small, modern art gallery nestled within the mall. Amélie's sharp gaze flickers over the paintings and sculptures with something akin to appreciation.
She pauses before an abstract painting of a midnight cityscape. “There is something… haunting about it,” she observes. “A quiet loneliness.”
You nod, standing beside her. “Do you like it?”
She takes a lingering glance before turning to you. “Perhaps.”
Moving on from the painting, she notices a small, delicate figurine—a silver ballerina frozen mid-pirouette.
“You danced once, didn’t you?” you ask gently.
She nods, tracing the figurine’s pose with her fingertip. “A long time ago.”
She quickly averts her eyes and moves on without another word.
When you suggest a stop at the arcade, she gives you an incredulous look. “You think I would enjoy such a place?”
“Trust me,” you say with a grin.
The moment she sees the virtual shooting range, however, a smirk tugs at her lips. “Ah. Now I see.”
She steps up to the machine, selecting the hardest difficulty without hesitation. With effortless precision, she takes shot after shot, her reflexes impossibly fast. The attendant stares, slack-jawed, as she clears the entire challenge with a perfect score.
“You're enjoying this!” you note with a chuckle.
She lowers the plastic gun, her expression unreadable. “Perhaps.”
As the day winds down, the two of you retreat to a quiet café away from the crowds. She orders an espresso, the deep aroma of coffee curling through the air.
She watches you over the rim of her cup, studying you in that meticulous way she always does. “Did you enjoy yourself?”
You smile. “I did. And you?”
She tilts her head slightly, considering. “It was… not unpleasant.”
You chuckle. “I’ll take that as a win.”
She sets her cup down, eyes softening just slightly, and a hint of a smile on her lips. “Perhaps we should do this again sometime.”
You take her hand in yours, pressing a light kiss to her knuckles. “I’d like that.”
Kiriko
The moment you step into the shopping mall, Kiriko spins around on her heel and grins at you, her energy infectious. She's wearing a casual hoodie, paired with leggings and sneakers that let her move freely.
“I hope you’re ready for an adventure!” she exclaims, grabbing your hand and tugging you toward the first set of stores. “Malls are full of surprises, you just have to know where to look.”
You chuckle, letting her lead. “I trust your judgment. Where to first?”
She taps her chin in exaggerated thought before smirking. “Somewhere fun, obviously.”
Before you can blink, Kiriko has already pulled you into a bustling arcade, her eyes immediately locking onto the rhythm game section. She bounces on the balls of her feet, practically vibrating with excitement.
“Oh! Dance Battle?” she asks, nudging you toward the flashing game. “Think you can keep up?”
You laugh, stepping onto the pad beside her. “We’ll see.”
The moment the game starts, Kiriko moves like a blur, effortlessly stepping to the beat with perfect timing. She giggles, throwing in a playful spin before landing back on her mark. “C’mon, you gotta move faster than that!”
Despite your best efforts, she completely outmatches you, and when the round ends, she throws her arms up in victory. “That’s one win for me! What’s next?”
She challenges you to a shooting game next, surprising you with her dead-on accuracy. “Ninja reflexes,” she teases. “It’s kind of my thing.”
You shake your head, grinning. “I should’ve known.”
Before leaving, she insists on playing a claw machine. “I’m totally winning you something,” she declares confidently, cracking her knuckles.
Several failed attempts later, she groans in frustration before finally managing to grab a small fox plushie. She holds it up triumphantly. “Aha! Behold! Your very own lucky fox guardian!” She presses it into your hands with a proud grin. “Take good care of them.”
After working up an appetite at the arcade, Kiriko drags you toward a Japanese food stall. Her eyes sparkle as she surveys the selection, her fingers twitching as if unsure what to grab first.
“Oh man, they have taiyaki!” she exclaims, pointing at the golden, fish-shaped pastries filled with custard. She orders one and immediately takes a bite, sighing in satisfaction.
“You have to try this,” she insists, breaking off a piece and holding it up for you. When you take a bite, she watches you expectantly. “Good, right?”
You nod. “Delicious.”
She then buys a few packs of mochi and matcha-flavored candies, tossing an extra bag into your hands. “For later,” she says with a wink. “Snacking is an important part of any adventure.”
Kiriko’s excitement reaches new heights when she spots an anime and collectibles store. “Okay, we have to go in here.”
The moment you step inside, she’s already darting between aisles, gasping at figurines, plushies, and posters of her favorite series. She picks up a fox mask and holds it up to her face. “Think this would make me look even cooler?”
You chuckle. “You don’t need any help in that department.”
She grins, setting the mask down before grabbing a keychain featuring a tiny kitsune charm. “This one’s for you,” she says, handing it to you. “To remind you of me.”
You take it, touched by the gesture. “Thanks, Kiriko.”
You both move onto clothes shopping. Kiriko is less interested in high fashion and more in finding comfortable, stylish streetwear. She picks out a hoodie with fox ears and immediately pulls it on over her current one.
“What do you think?” she asks, spinning around. “Too much?”
You smirk. “It’s very you.”
Satisfied, she picks out a matching one for you. “Now we can be a team,” she jokes, nudging your side.
She also snags a few socks with tiny fox patterns, holding them up proudly. “These are essential,” she declares.
“Essential for what?”
She grins. “For being awesome.”
As the day winds down, Kiriko drags you to a bubble tea café, claiming it as the perfect way to end the adventure. She orders a matcha milk tea with extra pearls and excitedly watches as you try a new flavour she recommends.
She takes a long sip and leans back in her chair with a satisfied sigh. “This was a good day.”
You nod, mirroring her relaxed posture. “It was.”
She twirls her straw between her fingers before looking at you with a teasing smile. “See? Told you malls could be fun.”
You chuckle. “You're right, I had a great time.”
Kiriko stretches her arms above her head and then rests her chin on her hands. “Next time, we’ll have to plan something even bigger.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Even bigger?”
She grins. “Obviously. This is only the beginning.”
With a final sip of her drink, she hops up, reaching for your hand. “C’mon, let’s go. We still have a whole evening ahead of us.”
Tracer
The doors of the shopping mall slide open, and in a blink, Lena is already a few steps ahead of you, spinning on her heel with a bright grin. She wears a casual bomber jacket over a simple tee, ripped jeans, and her signature orange-tinted goggles perched on her forehead. Her short brown hair bounces as she shifts her weight from foot to foot, practically buzzing with excitement.
“C’mon, love! No time to waste!” she chirps, grabbing your wrist and gently tugging you forward. “We’ve got a whole mall to conquer!”
You chuckle, matching her pace. “You act like we’re on a mission.”
“Every day’s a mission if you do it right!” she winks. “First stop—hmm—oh! Let’s find somethin’ fun!”
Lena zips toward a sneaker shop, pressing her hands against the glass before turning back to you with a determined look. “Alright, hear me out. I should get some new shoes, yeah?”
She’s already inside before you can reply, weaving through the aisles, eyes darting from one display to the next. She holds up a pair of high-tops, then a flashy set of running shoes, glancing at you for approval.
“These? Or these?” she asks, holding them side by side. “Speed or style?”
You raise an eyebrow. “You’re already fast. Do you really need running shoes?”
She gasps dramatically. “Oi! Every second counts!”
Eventually, she settles on a sleek, lightweight pair—perfect for quick movement. But before leaving, she insists on picking a matching pair for you. “Gotta keep up with me somehow,” she teases, nudging you playfully.
The next stop is a videogame store, Lena darts straight to the new releases, eyes widening as she skims the shelves.
“Oh! Look at this one!” she exclaims, pointing at a fast-paced racing game. “Bet I could beat ya at it!”
You smirk. “Confident, are we?”
She grins mischievously. “More like realistic.”
After a quick back-and-forth, you both decide to pick up a multiplayer game to play together later. She slings an arm around your shoulder as you both head towards the checkout.
Lena has a very distinct style—effortlessly cool with a touch of rebellious charm. So when you both pass a trendy streetwear store, she practically bounces inside, scanning the racks with keen interest.
“Oh, now this is proper wicked,” she says, pulling out a cropped bomber jacket. She holds it up against herself, then eyes you. “You’d look great in one too!”
She insists on matching jackets, and after some playful coaxing, you agree. She also picks up a new beanie and a set of fingerless gloves, which she immediately puts on.
“Nice, right?” she asks, wiggling her fingers. “Looks like I’m ready for a heist.”
“You’re plenty mischievous without the gloves.”
She throws her head back in laughter. “Guilty as charged!”
After all the shopping, Lena’s stomach lets out an audible growl. She dramatically clutches her stomach. “I'm starving!”
You lead her toward the food court, where she scans the stalls, eyes gleaming. “Oh! Burgers? Sushi? Chicken?"
She eventually settles on a little bit of everything. As she digs in, she chats between bites, telling animated stories from past Overwatch missions.
“So there I was, blinkin’ in and out, dodging lasers, and then—bam! Right hook to the baddie, and he’s down for the count!”
You shake your head, amused. “You’re impossible.”
She smirks. “That’s why you love me.”
On your way out, Lena spots an old-school photo booth. Her eyes light up. “Oh, we have to do this!”
She pulls you inside before you can protest, stuffing a few coins into the slot. “Alright, make funny faces!”
The machine clicks away as she leans into you, pulling faces—one with her tongue sticking out, another where she pretends to be mid-blink. In the last frame, she turns suddenly and kisses your cheek just as the camera flashes.
When the photos print, she snatches them up, beaming. “Look at us, a right pair of troublemakers.”
You shake your head, taking one of the strips. “We make a good team.”
She grins, stuffing her set into her jacket pocket. “The best.”
As the two of you walk out of the mall, she loops an arm around your waist. “Same time next weekend?”
You smirk. “Only if you don’t leave me in the dust.”
She laughs, leaning into you. “No promises, love.”

🎄🎵Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas🎵🎄
Holiday (365443) persona chart observations
🎅 Individuals with Ascendant at 1° or 3° get really excited in advance at the thought of Christmas coming. They tend to approach the holidays with the same innocent joy they had as kids even in adulthood
🎅 Stellium in 2nd house = tasty Christmas dishes and gifts are their only priority lmao
🎅 Neptune trine Venus tend to get lost in the beauty and bling of Christmas decorations
🎅 The sign and house where Jupiter is located tells you what type of gifts you might usually get on Christmas (it's also great to use as a gift guide!!):
🎁 Jupiter 1st house/Aries: gym equipment; sports-related merch; tickets to an event, which you're really passionate about; hats/head accessories; could also be something related to the natal Ascendant (check the description for your natal Rising sign for more info)
🎁 Jupiter in 2nd house/Taurus: lots of chocolate and sweets; clothes; art pieces; scented candles; perfume; fine china; kitchen utensils; cookbooks; (renewed) subscription to a movie streaming service
🎁 Jupiter in 3rd house/Gemini: a (new) car; books; musical instruments; handpan (if Jupiter is in Pisces or it positively aspects Neptune); your most memorable gift might come from a sibling or a relative (cousin, uncle, aunt)
🎁 Jupiter in 4th house/Cancer: plushies; heated blanket; board games; photo albums; your most memorable gift might come from your parents or it might be something passed on from generation to generation
🎁 Jupiter in 5th house/Leo: concert tickets; a trip to the tattoo parlor; gold jewelry; could also be something related to the natal Sun
🎁 Jupiter in 6th house/Virgo: Fitbit/smartwatch; aesthetic stationery (notebooks, planners, writing instruments); reusable water bottle; humidifier; pets
🎁 Jupiter in 7th house/Libra: make-up; beauty gadgets; a romantic partner/fiancé (no, but fr, you might get a love confession during the holidays); your most memorbale gift likely might come from your partner (if you have one)
🎁 Jupiter in 8th house/Scorpio: money/gift cards; sexy time toys; stockings; could be something the individual is obsessed with
🎁 Jupiter in 9th house/Sagittarius: trips to exotic destinations; henna hair dye; compression socks
🎁 Jupiter in 10th house/Capricorn: vintage decor; office chair; office purse (or just one that screams "high status"); sterling silver jewelry; high quality alcohol drinks
🎁 Jupiter in 11th house/Aquarius: electronic devices (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.); video games; anything related to supernatural beings (aliens, mermaids, fairies etc.); telescope; anything you've wished for/been manifesting
🎁 Jupiter in 12th house/Pisces: anything sleep related - pajamas, bed sheets, pillow sheets (or a new pillow), silk sleepmask; crystals; manifestation journal; tarot decks; art supplies
🎅 Christmas traditions based on the number of planets in angular/succedent/cadent houses:
❄️ High number of planets in angular houses (1, 4, 7, 10) = starting new family traditions
❄️ High number of planets in succedent houses (2, 5, 8, 11) = carrying out family traditions
❄️ High number of planets in cadent houses (3, 6, 9, 12) = tweaking/improving current family traditions or letting them go if they don't resonate anymore
🎅 Sun square/opposite Saturn & Ascendant conjunct/square/opposite Saturn = Grinch who doesn't like Christmas, but doesn't do anything to "destroy" it; might show a lot of sarcasm during the holidays; they might not celebrate Christmas due to reasons related to their position of Saturn
🎅 Sun square/opposite Mars = Grinch who doesn't like Christmas, but actively tries to "destroy" the holiday spirit for the people around them by picking up fights with loved ones
🎅 If you want to "hire" a Santa to show up with gifts for your kids on Christmas (aka choose one of your friends to fulfill this role), the best Santa would have atleast 3 of the following:
Sun conjunct/sextile/trine Jupiter
Venus conjunct/sextile/trine Jupiter
Sun/Moon in 5th house
Jupiter in 2nd house/5th house
Jupiter conjuncting MC
Sagittarius Rising or Jupiter as dom planet
Ruler of 2nd house (benefic planet) in 5th house and vice versa
Asteroid Abundantia (151) conjuncting Venus/Jupiter

Every Rule Has An Exception
Hello, everyone! Happy spring! Happy to be back. I got this surge of inspiration, and what better way to use it than writing a Jackson-centered piece? :) PS: It ties slightly into the Nothing More story, but can also be read independently.
PS2: This is the mashup I used as inspo for one of the scenes below. Enjoy listening!!
±4k words, fluff, GOT7 party, romance build up
“I’m so sorry I’m late Sam. You don’t usually sign up to be a babysitter for grown-ups, but I guess it’s part of the job.”
“It’s no biggie, we’re just warming up. Mark's birthday is not for another couple hours,” Samantha chuckled on the other end of the line. Jo was speaking the truth; she really was sorry for being more than an hour late. “But yeah, you’re the last one to arrive.”
“I can take that, okay?” Jo followed with a smile. “This gentleman with the Uber is really revving it up for me!”
“Take care, okay? We’ll be here a while anyway!”
Jo put her phone into her purse and guided a hand to her nape to massage it. An ugly knot was forming in her stiff muscles, and she let out a sigh. Her smartwatch buzzed up with another work message, and she tapped the screen to turn it off. She caught a glimpse of the time before doing so: 9:30 PM. Against her better wishes, the flight from the States to Korea left her jetlagged.
Jo tried to turn off her brain for the remainder of the trip, yet various scenarios were creeping up in her mind. Could she have done better during her meetings? Did she leave a first good impression to her partners? Was she appropriate enough in terms of their cultural differences?
“I should stop.” She murmured to herself and leaned against the headrest of the car. The Uber driver had a small minibar in his car and was kind enough to offer her a bottle of water. Jo left a generous tip for his gesture when she got out of the car.
The house that Samantha rented for Mark’s birthday was lit up like a Christmas tree. Despite it being somewhere in the buzzing heart of Seoul, it was neatly tucked away behind generous vegetation, and it offered an air of privacy. A purple gleam coming out of the house had Jo shield her eyes. She relaxed her shoulders; if she came, she might as well enjoy herself.
“Fashionably late, the party showstopper is here!”
To her surprise, the music was not obscenely loud, and her voice instantly caught Mark’s attention. He was wearing a party hat and a pair of pink funky glasses with faux feathers around the lenses. Mark greeted her at the door with a tall glass of champagne.
“Finally,” he teased. “Welcome, Jo!”
“Happy Birthday, Mark! It looks like Sam took care of everything around here.”
Jo gladly took the glass and pointed to the colorful balloons floating in the entrance area. The whole living room space was opened, with a dark matte staircase indicating the access to the superior floor. A lot of birthday decorations in sight, changing the otherwise sombre colors of the house into an inviting underground club kind of style. She felt a bit out of place, in her dark Ralph Lauren suit and Manolo Blahnik white mules. She could at least unbutton one or two buttons of her shirt.
“I’m told she and Bambam plotted to make everything around here as is. Oh, speaking of the devil!”
Samantha quickly chimed in, wearing a matching party hat with Mark. He gave her a peck on the cheek.
“I swear to God, Jo, I started wondering if you’d actually show up today.”
“Oh, you know me, never missing a good party! Mark, do you have any pair of slippers around here? These heels are killing my feet.”
“I’ll go look upstairs. The landlords said we would have a box of necessities somewhere around here. Excuse me, ladies.”
Mark took Jo’s handbag to put it in the luggage area upstairs. Sam grabbed her friend by the hand, tugging her into the crowd. There was not an excessive number of people but, apart from the rest of the Got7 members, there were some unfamiliar faces in the group. To Jo, at least.
“I’m so happy you could make it! I meant what I said. I can’t imagine how tired you must be.”
“Ah, I can’t compare to you, Sam. I’m not operating people in double digit times. Have you given Mark the present yet?”
Jo dipped her head in a bow when she noticed Jinyoung in the crowd. He returned the gesture.
“Not yet. Bambam said he had some fireworks going on? I don’t really know; I have the feeling he’s hiding something. By the way,”
Sam leaned in closer to Jo’s ear and hid her lips with the back of her hand. “Someone was eagerly waiting for you.”
For a moment, Jo was clueless. “Oh, why, is Johnny regretful about something? I don’t see him here.”
“Come on, Jo. I think you know better than that.”
“I… don’t?”
Samantha noticed Jinyoung making his way through the crowd. “Well then, I’ll leave you in good hands with Jinyoung. Maybe he’ll give you a hint if he’s nice enough. I must go talk to the cake delivery!”
Before she had the chance to protest, Samantha made her way swiftly towards the kitchen area. Jo was left hanging with her arm in the air. Jinyoung chuckled when he heard her sigh.
“Trouble in paradise?” he dared and showed a path to where Jaebum and another unfamiliar figure were talking.
Jo had to mentally adjust to the change of language. She forgot she had spoken to the other in Korean when they met backstage at the concert. “Oh well, sometimes you just have to give up with that woman.”
Jinyoung introduced Jo to some of the foreign people in the house, and he helped her with leading the conversations. It did not take long for Jo to ease into the atmosphere, quickly reminded of her older college days. A sworn extrovert, as Samantha would say. Jo was happy to join their company, as the tumult of the past day was slowly easing into a celebratory atmosphere. At some point, she picked up the growing rhythm of the music, only to notice Bambam had also contacted a DJ for the night. At some point, someone had offered her a paper crown to put on her head, but she never noticed who had given the accessory to her.
“It suits you.” Jinyoung gestured to the party headpiece. “And somehow works with the suit as well.”
Jo knew he was joking. She appreciated the gesture. “Thanks! I just hope Mark returns with those slippers soon because I cannot feel my feet at this point.”
Jinyoung dipped his head in a small motion. “Don’t worry, your slippers are here.”
Jo turned her head and noticed Jackson approaching through the crowd. A smile flourished on her features, and it was certainly not meant for the slippers. Maybe Jackson noticed, as he did not hesitate to smile right back at her. He was wearing a crown party headpiece of his own, fitting for his last name.
“Someone called for a special delivery?” Jackson chuckled and proudly displayed the so-called delivery. “This house really does have everything!”
“Why don’t you help her change her shoes?” Jaebum taunted, taking a sip of his drink. He was closer to Jackson, so Jo could not figure out his words entirely. Jackson showed a surprising look and was faster to act. He offered his hand to the woman.
“Come, let’s find you a seat to change.”
Both very happy with the outcome, Jinyoung and Jaebum waved to the other two as they left. Jackson gently took the lead and guided Jo to a comfortable armchair in a tucked away corner of the kitchen. Jo watched Jackson as he knelt in front of her, placing the spare shoes on the ground. She would notice later; they were matching clothes, with Jackson wearing a loose Louis Vuitton dark suit.
“May I?” Jackson gestured to Jo’s heels, prepared to take them off for her.
“No need, Jackson, I can handle it no problem.”
His amused eyes prevented Jo from taking any further action. She acknowledged his request and relaxed into the plush of the chair.
“It’s the least I can do as one of the hosts,” Jackson spoke and swiftly slipped the heels away from Jo’s tired feet. He had an impulse to massage the soles but quickly shook it away. He did notice the woman’s sigh of relief.
“Host?” Jo asked, wiggling her toes for a bit. Jackson noticed and stalled his movements to give her some space. “So, you’re in charge of the after-cleaning?”
“Please don’t tell anyone, but I lost the rock-paper-scissor game, and I need to bear the consequences of my own actions.”
They both laughed. Jo felt her energy rising and motioned for Jackson to put on the slippers. She showed a mocking gesture of secrecy, “Your secret is safe with me.”
“Appreciate it. I’m happy I don’t have to give this suit back, so I think I’ll be forgiven if I spill something on the fabric by mistake.”
Jackson offered his hand again to help Jo stand, and the latter accepted happily. “Thank you, Jackson. You made my life easier.”
“Again, least I can do.”
Jo lingered for a little while before letting go of his hand. She was now 6cm shorter without the heels, yet Jackson did not seem to mind. Neither of those actions.
“I mean, for the slippers too, but I felt like a total clown coming in with this posh suit when everyone’s wearing their comfiest clothes. At least I’m matching someone in style now.”
Jackson grabbed his glass of half-finished Hennessy from the nearby counter. “Nonsense. You’re extremely beautiful, with or without the suit.”
Jo was not the one to get nervous by such remarks. Truth was, she was used to hearing such comments from all the men who either tried to buy her out of her business or persuade her into submission. She knew Jackson was not ill-intentioned, but she also knew it was in his nature to be friendly and unknowingly flirty. No matter how well they seemed to click during their outing the other day with Samantha and Mark.
“How come?” Jo asked and grabbed her own glass of unfinished champagne. She wanted to be cautious with the alcohol; she could not remember if she had had anything to eat during the day. “I didn’t have the chance to check my makeup, and I’m sure my hair is not as slick as I want it to be.”
Jackson looked as if Jo had told him the Earth was flat. “Stop toying with my feelings and just accept the facts.”
“Jackson! Jo!” Bambam interrupted with a shout, his dark sunglasses vibing with the music in the speakers. Yugyeom was holding the other by the shoulders, and it seemed like they had just had another round of shots. “Don’t keep all the fun to yourselves! Come on over and let’s shake our asses on the dancefloor!”
“Hear, hear!” Yugyeom followed. “We wanted to be in full formula before we got this party started!”
“Full formula? What’s that about?”
“I asked them to hold off for a little while till you got here,” Jackson replied and gestured with his head to join the bigger group.
Someone was eagerly waiting for you.
“Right…” Jo chuckled to herself and happily joined the others to kick off the celebrations. However, the wild dancing was postponed yet again as the catering delivery had just made its way inside the generous living room. Bambam insisted that the music should not be turned down and was happy to share a pizza with the DJ. Jo grabbed a paper plate and served some chicken pops and fries. Her body started grooving with the music.
“Is this me, or is this a playlist similar to what we used to have in college?”
“Sharp as always,” Samantha admitted and took a big bite of her quattro formaggi slice. “So, I was planning all this with Bam, right? And he said, ‘We must have a good mix. How can we call it a party without a good mix?’ and I said, ‘I got you homie, ’ and then I gave the DJ my old Spotify playlist that I played when you twerked on me at that Sophomore gathering.”
Jo almost spit her food laughing. Jackson and Mark were listening to the story with much interest. Objectively, of course. “Oh my God, Sam! I thought I was too drunk to remember that, but hell if my subconscious wants me to forget that. Music really is a very strong sense.”
“Isn’t that when you made out with Jonathan?” Samantha continued in a forgotten revelation.
“It was! Next morning, we had joint practice with the boys’ volleyball team, and he asked me out at a set point. To hell if I set anything that morning!”
Mark saw Jackson wincing and started laughing too. "I swear to God, Jonathan had kissed all of our girls. Yikes."
“Did you play in the collegiate league?” Jackson asked Jo, trying to change the subject of kissing some other men. Perhaps if he hadn’t met Jonathan, he wouldn’t have given it much thought. Maybe jealousy was too strong of a word.
“I did, first three years I think,” Jo nodded her head. “2016 seems so far away now, doesn’t it?”
Jackson did a quick calculation in his head. His eyes widened in surprise. “You got admitted to Stanford in 2014?”
Jo did not question how Jackson knew about her studies. “Oh yeah. Sam and I are class of 2017, even though in different majors.”
“You could have actually met if Jackson had gone to Stanford back then! Mark joked, pushing the other man slightly with his shoulder.
It was Jo’s turn to be surprised. She turned her body towards Jackson. “I totally forgot! You got a scholarship for fencing in 2012, didn’t you?”
Jackson smiled. “It’s funny how the world works. If I had accepted and met the two of you, maybe I wouldn’t have met my other 6 brothers. And vice-versa.”
People were preparing to put their plates to the side, and Jaebum took lead of gathering the remaining food to carry it to the kitchen. Samantha offered to help, cutting their reminiscent discussion short.
“Do you ever think about what could have been?” Jo stole a glance at Jackson, who quickly shook his head.
“I used to. Not anymore, though. I think if we’re not living a certain life is because we are not meant to live it.”
“Mhm,” Jo accepted and angled her head to look him in the eyes. Although more mature, Jackson was still the same insightful person who captured her attention in the group. That glimmer in his eyes could not be seen behind a TV screen. Jo was wearing the same daring expression she wore when she captured Jackson’s attention during their concert. “I think every rule has an exception.”
With the tip of her finger, Jo provoked Jackson to follow her into the crowd towards the middle of the living room where the group was gathering. A suave come here which elicited a hearty laughter from Jackson would later be one of his core memories about Jo. For the moment, he obliged to follow her and ease the tension in his shoulders. Jackson gulped the rest of his drink and left the glass somewhere he did not bother to remember. A remix of Beauty and a Beat and Club Can’t Handle Me got everyone moving.
Jo felt her body lighter, allowing the good vibes to collide with her system. A long time had passed since she had felt relaxed, even more so since she had felt that she could express herself freely.
All I need / Is a beauty and a beat / Who can make my life complete…
At some point, Jackson and Jo twisted and came to face one another, just as if the Universe had plotted to lock them on the same frequency. It did not take long for Jackson to capture Jo’s full attention, and the woman inched closer to him, accepting his exclusive invitation.
You know I know how / To make ‘em stop and stare / Watching you watching me I go all out…
Smiles turning into smirks turning into alluring movements had Jo in Jackson’s utmost proximity. Neither of them took it one step further, to break the suspense of a first touch. Jo was testing the waters, with the tips of the fingers tracing ghostly touches under Jackson’s chin. He smirked right back at her, licking his lips with the tip of his tongue. Yet he was patient, he was telling himself. As a matter of fact, Jackson took his sweet time memorizing Jo’s silhouette and fantasizing how he would grab her by the waist in a moment of weakness—
“EVERYONE!!!” Bambam shouted through the music, “Fireworks are out, now!!”
Rushed movements ferried the group into the private garden of the house, where Bambam prepared himself to press on a very ominous red button on a remote. Amidst the chaos, Samantha observed the way Jo and Jackson danced with one another, unconsciously yet attentively isolating themselves from the crowd.
“What’s the time?” Jaebum asked laughing and positioned himself by Bam’s side to break the surprise loose.
Jinyoung cupped his hands around his mouth to shout back at them. He was careful enough to leave his glasses inside the house. “3 minutes to midnight!”
Jaebum and Bambam then nodded to one another, and it was enough of a signal for Bam to press the red button. Once pressed, sudden popping sounds erupted from some nearby devices, sending fireworks into the sky. Simultaneously, the garden sprinkles went off, covering the group in droplets of water. Jo let out a shriek and instinctively put her hands in the air to cover her face. Jackson took out his jacket to cover Jo’s frame as best as he could, bravely facing the water himself. The silence was broken by hearty laughter that burst out of their chests. Jo turned to Jackson. Under Jackson’s improvised cloth shield, where the water caused Jo’s mascara to smear and Jackson’s hair to ruin, they were laughing, and they were happy.
The sprinklers ceased fire, and Jackson lowered his jacket. Youngjae came out of the house with an impressive green cake, with multiple candles burning brightly.
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Mark!”
Everyone heeded Youngjae’s singing to celebrate Mark. He blew into a party horn, still wearing those ridiculous party glasses, and then grasped his hands together to make a wish before blowing out the candles.
“This is definitely one of the happiest moments of my life,” Jackson spoke, throwing his jacket somewhere on the lawn to rake his wet hair.
Jo was silent for a while. Watching Mark blowing the candles, Samantha taking a video of the entire moment, and the boys’ friends earnestly celebrating their bond and Mark, everything reminded Jo of her college days. Between time and life, where she once stood in Mark’s shoes, she could not remember the last time she had that genuine feeling in her chest. She missed the sensation.
“Me too,” Jo finally spoke and leaned her head against Jackson’s shoulder. “Thank you.”
The party came to an end in the depth of the night. The guests gradually started leaving and it was 3AM when Jo went outside in the garden to grab some fresh air. Summer was still strong in the breeze, in the movements of the trees, and in the shining stars of the sky. The lawn was covered into spaghetti confetti, a piece of the cake was still lying where Mark was pushed with his face into the whipped cream with an empty bottle of champagne next to it. Jo remembered Jackson was supposed to be in charge of cleaning and she felt bad for him.
Jo took out her jacket and put it on the grass to seat atop of it. It was too late to think about grass smears, and she could only hope the Seoul cleaners would be able to revive her entire suit.
“It was all worth it.”
“What was?”
Jackson approached the woman with two glasses of water. Jo gestured for him to join her, seeing as he was already prepared anyway, and he seated himself next to her on the damp grass.
“I was just thinking I would have to pay good money to resuscitate this, Ralph Lauren.”
“Ah,” Jackson laughed. “I don’t want to sound like an entitled prick, but I gave up on mine.”
It was Jo’s turn to laugh. “I’ll give you a call if I find this magical cleaner. But now that I think about it, I don’t think I gave you my number.”
“Isn’t this as good a reason as any?”
Jo mimicked shock on her face to which Jackson laughed. “Ouch, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you didn’t want my number.”
Jackson mirrored her expression, albeit more genuinely. “Please forgive me.”
Jo tapped her chin with the index. “I’ll let it slide. Just this once.”
Jackson’s chest deflated from letting out all that air. “I got lucky.”
While she was typing her contact into Jackson’s phone, he spoke. “Are you leaving soon?”
“I should. I have a meeting at 8AM if you can imagine.”
“I don’t know why but I actually can.”
Jo quirked an eyebrow. “Just because I carry it well doesn’t mean it’s not heavy.”
She knew she must have ruined the fun when Jackson did not reply. He was playing with the tattooed skin of his finger. Jo cleared her throat and handed the phone back.
“I’ll go upstairs to gather my things, and I’ll order an Uber. It shouldn’t take too long to get home. It’s a nightmare to think I’ll have to change back into those heels.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll carry you to the car and take you home.”
Jo scoffed. “I can handle that.”
Jackson’s eyes were too serious for his own good. And to argue, for that matter. “Okay, I’ll give you my loafers, but I’ll still take you home. You refused last time we went out and I spammed Sam’s phone with messages to make sure you got home safe.”
Jo was surprised. For some reason, Samantha had failed to mention that to her. Unless that was the plan all along. “She never said. But what will you take then? You can’t imagine I’d accept you walking barefoot on the streets.”
Jackson simply pointed to the slippers on her feet. “I mean, I’m getting back here anyway.”
“There’s no use arguing with you, is it?”
He shrugged his shoulders. “Not about these kinds of things, no.”
“Do tell, what can I argue with you about?”
Jackson rose to his feet. “We can find out if you’d like, I guess,” he extended his hand to help her get up. It was the second time that night Jo lingered into his touch, which was warmer this time around. “Come on, I’ll take your things.”
Jackson stopped in his tracks for a quick moment. A quick moment that would have had Jo blushing, maybe under different circumstances. "You're still as beautiful."
Samantha and Mark accompanied Jackson and Jo to the front gate. The sight of Jo wearing Jackson’s loafers, which were noticeably bigger than her size, had Samantha giggling.
“The Jo I knew would have chosen to die rather than take her heels off.”
Jo sneered and folded her arms over her chest. “Maybe this Jo learnt a thing or two.”
“Mhm,” Samantha remarked.
“Hey, Jackson, let’s leave the girls to say their goodbyes. We can wait for the Uber in the street.”
“Happy birthday once again, Mark. I hope you’ve had fun and do enjoy this day to the fullest.”
“Thank you for coming, Jo. I know it was short notice and everything, but I do appreciate your presence here. We’ll clean up and get to sleep most likely.”
As Jackson and Mark walked away from the gate, Samantha approached Jo, facing her with her arms crossed over the chest as well. “And? What did this Jo learn tonight?”
Jo chuckled. “This and that.”
“This Jo and that Jo, as I said, would die and not take off her heels for no man. Surprise, surprise, you’re wearing Jackson’s loafers.”
“Yeah, whatever that’s supposed to mean.”
Samantha continued taunting. “This Jo and that Jo would have probably slammed her lips against his. What was it that you claimed? Fuck around and find out?”
Jo did not comment.
“Maybe if Bam wouldn’t have cut off the moment, you just might have.”
The girls turned their attention towards the car. Mark was waving for them to approach.
“Who knows? He’s taking me home, isn’t he?”
Samantha watched Jo with a devious look in the eye. “He is.”

May I interest you in a “3) fully clothed x stark naked” prompt in these trying times?
(Though I do hope your day is going well and not trying)
the days since you've sent this, dear anon, have been very good and not trying! here is the smut you've ordered 😌
"Babe we gotta get going!" Agatha shouts as she passes the bathroom door. "We're gonna be late for the lunch thing with Lilia, you know she hates when we're late."
Rio pretends she doesn't hear Agatha under the stream of water from the shower head. She holds her breath as she lets it wash over her, the hot water relaxing her. She rubs her hand over her body, making sure every bubble from the bar of soap is washed from her before she shuts the water off and slides the glass door open.
Agatha opens the bathroom door, ready to chastise Rio for taking so long, but the words die in her throat as she shamelessly drinks in her naked, wet girlfriend.
"Hello yourself, sailor," Rio teases, bending to the side to wring her hair out into the shower. "What was it you were yelling? Couldn't hear you."
Agatha just swallows, throat insatiably dry, and steps towards Rio. Rio laughs under her breath, knowing just where Agatha's eyes were glued to and stands up.
"Something about Lilia?" she asks, trying to subtly remind Agatha to stop her. Agatha keeps moving forward until her fingers can swipe at the leftover water droplets on her chest. "Lunch?"
Rio's hands wrap into Agatha's covered wrists. She's fully dressed and ready for the day, while Rio is definitely not. Rio's fingers dip into the arm cuff of Agatha's grey sweater, rubbing at the skin underneath.
She glances down at the smartwatch on her arm and curses quietly. "We're already late."
Rio frowns, "Sorry. Should you call Lilia and tell her?"
Agatha doesn't respond, instead taking Rio's lips against hers in a passionate kiss. Her mouth opens, tongue sliding out to enter Rio's as she moans at the taste of her. She grabs her by the back of her arms, guiding her toward the counter and pins her against it without breaking the kiss.
Rio hisses at the feel of granite against her bare back, breaking the kiss. "Cold."
Agatha lifts her up, having her sit down on it and parts her thighs while she drops to her knees in front of her. Rio tosses her legs over Agatha's shoulders, scooting to the edge of the counter top.
"Might as well be ridiculously late."
Agatha flattens her tongue against Rio's cunt, licking bold stripes up to her clit before circling the sensitive bundle of nerves with the tip of her tongue. Rio's fingers weave into Agatha's hair, holding her tight against her as she grinds her hips into her mouth.
Agatha moans into her, the clean taste from the shower mixed with Rio's inherent essence spurs her on. She drops her jaw wider, resting her tongue on her bottom lip as she uses it to devour Rio's pussy.
Rio grips Agatha's hair, her whines and cries in pleasure growing louder as Agatha eats her out. "God I'm gonna cum in your mouth, keep going."
As if Agatha was planning to stop. She keeps going, Rio's arousal pools out of her entrance and combines with Agatha's drool on the counter top. She raises a hand, dipping two fingers into her mouth and then slips them into Rio. She curls the fingers up, feeling Rio clench around them.
Rio moans are screams now, chanting and babbling out Agatha's name as she cants her hips. Her head rolls back and eyes clamp shut as she cums. Agatha relaxes her jaw, now just using her tongue to lap at her clit, thrusts slowing before stopping entirely while Rio continues to ride the fingers.
She whines, slumping forward as Agatha stands quickly to catch her. She licks up the water droplets on her shoulder, face still covered in Rio's cum. She presses an open mouthed, sloppy kiss to the corner of Rio's mouth before pulling her fingers out.
Agatha holds her fingers up to Rio's mouth, about to push them in, until she hears the muffled jingle of her phone's ringtone in the bedroom. Rio's eyes open, flicking from Agatha to the fingers in front of her mouth.
Right as Agatha attempts to pull away to answer her phone, Rio wraps her lips around the wet fingers. She hollows her cheeks, slurping them in as her nose rests against Agatha's knuckles.
Agatha can only watch, powerless. Rio's tongue swipes between the fingers, cleaning every drop of her orgasm off of Agatha's hand before she lets them fall out of her mouth with an audible pop.
The ringtone ends and Agatha's watch buzzes against her arm. She looks down seeing the call was from Lilia and she tosses her head back with a groan.
"Oh she's pissed."
Rio feigns innocence, smile creeping across her face. "Sorry, babe."

Kinktober Day 14
Prompt: Humiliation Pairing: nonidol!Jeongin (I.N) x olderfem!reader WC: 2k Summary: You’ve had a day. You need a drink. Alone preferably. And yet here comes the boy who has been staring you down all night.
This is a work of fiction, it does not represent Jeongin (I.N) or any Stray Kids member. On top of this it is an 18+ work. For my comfort and boundaries please if you are under age do not interact with this.
I feel the need especially with “rougher” prompts like this to put the disclaimer - fanfic should NOT ever be used as a guide to relationships or sex. ESPECIALLY SEX. Again, it’s fiction. Stuff gets glossed over for the sake of a good story. Please PLEASE please again, not fact, not a guide, just a fantasy.
TW/CW Preface. Jeongin uses the word “noona” to refer to the reader. I just really couldn’t think of a better word to refer (cutely) to a woman older than you but not “mommy” and part of what this specific version of him gets off on is the power of fucking someone older than him. ANYWAY if that give you the ick, turn back now.
Additional TW/CW below the cut.
TW/CW: fucking in a bathroom, humiliation, degradation, reader nicknames- (noona, ONE instance of “mommy”, whore, dumb slut, slut, disgusting), under negotiated kink, cum in panties, dubcon (they’re drunk, most agree that consent at this point is...well murky AT BEST), ROUGH sex (gagging, underprepped, no aftercare). Age gap *(unspecified, reader is older)
Tumblr media
“Oh no no no,” you stopped the young man in his tracks. “You are much too young for me baby boy.”  He hadn’t spoken a single word to you yet, spending most of the night staring at you from the corner of the bar as many other men had all of your life. You didn’t need to know much, his sweet dimpled face told you everything you needed to know. Old enough to drink, sure, but certainly too young for you.  “Aw,” his voice sounds disappointed yet determined as he smiles. “Noona, you haven’t even let me speak, you don’t know why I’m here.”  Coolly taking another sip of your drink, you look at him from the corner of your eye. “I know you’ve been staring at me all night. It’s enough to make assumptions.”  “So you’re like a museum piece? I can look but I can’t touch?” He sticks the tip of his tongue between his teeth as he smiles and winks cheekily.  You let out an exasperated sigh, the line was cheesy but his audacity was admirable. Looking straight ahead you down your drink, if this was what the night was, leave it up to Bacchus, not your brain. “Do you have an elevator pitch or do I have to suffer more bad lines?”  “The elevator pitch, noona, is that younger guys are the trend. You seem like a trendsetter. It seems like a great opportunity for you to increase your portfolio and it just so happens that I have availability for tonight.”  “I regret the elevator pitch, buy me a drink or do you need to call your parents to authorize the charge?”  “No mommy, I’m a big boy in more than one way.” He tries to wink and cringes. “That was bad. I'm sorry, I’ll grab your next drink if you let me.”  Eyes wide with disbelief you weigh your options, send the kid away or see what the night brings. In reality he can’t be THAT much younger than you. You’re both here in a bar, drinking,he has to be at least twenty one years old. Unless he has a fake, the devious little shit. You’ve already spent more time with him than you’d originally intended. Before you’re able to politely wave him off your smartwatch pings and you go delving into the depths of your purse. In the time it takes you to dig the bartender is back and the kid is ordering you and himself another round.  “I thought you said ‘if you let me’ I don’t recall giving you permission.”  “You seemed preoccupied and if i’m being honest, a little stressed. No pressure, you can enjoy it without me, or with me. You must admit I’m at least a little exciting, I might be fun to keep around a bit longer.”  Fighting your smile you nod nonchalantly to the barstool next to you. “The seat’s open.”
You don’t remember how many drinks you’ve had but it’s enough to be following him to the bathroom. Him -Jeongin, IN, Innie- he had so many names from his friends and family. It was less alcohol than you’d hoped before you’d fallen to his boyish charm. Eager, honest, and way too fucking into you to pass up.  His hand is on your lower back as the two of you walk towards the back, almost as if you’re going to exit through the kitchen instead of heading to one of the three single occupancy bathrooms. Touching the doorknob you hesitate briefly, door creaking under the light pressure.  Jeongin is on you before the door even finishes opening, spinning you around to face him, hands on your hips as he backs you through the door in an impassioned kiss.  “What if someone sees?” You half whisper as he kisses your neck, fumbling with the small zipper of your skirt.  “Then they’ll know we’re fucking,” he states simply, giving up on the skirt and yanking your blouse free. “Do you have a problem with that?”  The heat of embarrassment creeps at the sides of your face and twists in your gut pleasantly. “Isn’t it…they’d know…” your tongue ties, a girlish giggle from a fluttering heart interrupting. Jeongin isn’t helping as he pushes the cups of your bra down, thumbs running over your nipples as he hurries to free your breasts.  “Does that excite you? Someone walking in on you getting fucked by some stranger in a shit bathroom in a shity dive bar?” Jeongin pinches your nipples slightly, your eyes rolling as you bite back a moan.  “It does.”  “What does?” He pinches your nipples again.  “Fucking a stranger in a shitty dive bar.” Your heart jumps, just saying it outloud feels exciting. Hearing his words in your voice feels more real.  “What does fucking a stranger do?” His lips ghost over your neck as he nearly whispers, each consonant buzzing against you. Hand traveling between your thighs, the tips of his fingers rub circles in the cotton fabric of your underwear, right above your clit.  “Turns me on, fuck, Jeongin!” You squeal  The squish of your damp panties is proof enough of his handiwork. “And you thought a kid like me couldn’t have a woman like you.” He laughs, nibbling at the column of your throat. “So wet for me already. Can control everything but that needy cunt of yours. Who got you this worked up?  Pushing the gusset of your panties aside his middle finger plays at your entrance, circling slowly, barely dipping in. “You did,” you gasp, hips canting to try to trick him into slipping further down your channel.
Gathering some of your essence on his fingers he backs off, playing with the strands clinging between his fingers. “Clean them,” he offers to you, your eyes already glazed over an unfocused as you lean into the tiled wall.  You do it, eagerly. Taking his digits into your mouth and swirling your tongue around them. Sucking him clean and then some.  “So your mouth is good for something,” he coos pressing your mouth open to fuck along the soft pink surface of your tongue. Watching drool pool and spill from the corners of your lips. “You’re so much hotter when you give into me. Just like this. Why don’t you put that smart little mouth around my cock?”
There’s no discussion, you simply slip to the floor, knees pressing into the cold dirty tile. “Disgusting” you mutter to yourself.  Grasping your chin between his thumb and forefinger, Jeongin tilts your head up,  looming over you. “Just like you. Now open and stick your tongue out like the dumb slut you are.”  Eyes wide you comply. His lips purse as he summons a globule of spit, letting it cling to his lips as it drops slowly down to your mouth. “Keep it open,” he demands, freeing his stiffened member from its confines. Using the tip he pushes his spit along your tongue, watching his length eclipse the velvety pink surface. “Just look at how sweet you can be,” he coos, “from here you aren’t so scary at all are you, noona?”  Doe-eyed you look up at him and shake your head no. Holding your jaw as open as you can for him, relaxing all the way through the back of your throat as he pushes deeper. The stretch at the hinges of your jaw is almost painful as he smiles down at you, the cute dimples suddenly seem sinister when paired with his actions. It sends a shiver all the way down to your core. You’re so pent up you could scream, instead whimpering and squeezing your thighs together for relief. Guilty that it turns you on so much you can barely form thoughts as he fucks into your open mouth, hand cushioning the back of your head from the tile wall.
Kicking your knees apart, Jeongin slides his shoe under your ass as you hump blindly against his leg. It provides some, albeit humiliating, relief to your throbbing cunt.  “Just what would your colleagues think? Humping my leg like a flithy slut. A professional like you getting broken down by a boy like me.” He finally pushes all the way back, breaching the ring of muscle at the top of your throat as you gag around him. Mucus and spit and tears covering your cheeks and chin, eyes glazed over.  “Doing alright?” Jeongin asks sweetly, hand slowly wiping the mess across your face.  “Fuck me. Please. Please. I need it so badly. I’m so ready for you baby please.”  “Get up.”  You wobble still half drunk on alcohol half drunk on hormones, leaning into the wall for support.  “Grab the sink.”  The white ceramic of the sink is cool against your overheated skin as you hold onto the edge of the basin, waiting. Blurry eyed you watch him through the mirror in front of you, like the killer in a horror movie about to claim his next victim. He looks wild while you look like a wreck, makeup running down your cheeks and hair in knots. He hoists your skirt to your waist, pushing your soaked panties to the side.  “You won’t need any prep right? You’ve taken cock enough right? I’m just a young guy, it’ll be no problem for you with all your experience.”  Your mouth opens to beg him to go slow, instead it feels like your gut is punched through your esophagus as his blunt head bullies its way between your walls. The stretch sudden and brutal. Sliding forward with him, hips bruising against the lip of the sink, your face smushes into the mirror in front of you with a reedy whine.  “Shit, you’re tight noona. Fuck.” He grunts as he rocks closer to you, steadying for a second before he begins in earnest. Fingertips digging into the flesh of your ass he pulls almost all the way back, savoring the feeling of your walls tugging him back in eagerly. The dip of your back arches more dramatically as he thrusts forward, drawing another whine from you.  Pulling you upright and tight to his chest his hand covers your mouth tightly. “Do you want everyone to know I’m ruining you? Or are you just so fucked out you don’t care anymore.”  “Fucked,” you sob, spit coating the palm of his hand. “Good. Fucked.”  He thrusts up again. The combination of slight angle change and the press of the sink against your groin has his tip aimed directly into the soft target of your spot.  It’s overwhelmingly good as he jackhammers into you, hips snapping ruthlessly. Panting your body shifts violently between limp and clenched, unsure of how to handle the overload of pain and pleasure.  “Go ahead slut, cum on my cock. You’re lucky I’m even letting you.” He sneers, lips pressed to the shell of your ear. The tickle of his breath is what sends you over the edge, shaking and gasping as your walls clamp around him. He leans the both of you forward as you vision darkens, body slackening against the mirror. Cheek pressed to your lower back you both pant as he withdraws suddenly, staggering back from you slightly.
You hardly notice he’s left you like that, only alerted by the click of the door unlocking and closing again. In your post climax sobriety you realize you have no idea if he’d even bothered to wear a condom. Slowly your hand slides over your ass, nearly gagging at the smear of sticky residue stuck to the inside of your underwear. Drifting higher to pull your skirt down, something small like a clothing tag pokes you.
A business card.  “I got your tab, call me,” scrawled hastily on the back.

the stakes are high, the water's rough (but this love is ours)
liam mairi x border collie!reader
𝖒𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖑𝖎𝖘𝖙
summary: Liam advocates for you at the doctor's office.
word count: 2k
warnings: a shitty doctor lol
a/n: my submission for @empyreanevents Day 2 of Liam Week 2025: Protective
Tumblr media
Your jitters were obvious to Liam even from across the room as you shoved a few salt-heavy snacks into your tote bag. As an afterthought, you snatched your salt electrolyte drops off the counter and dropped those in your purse, too. One of your legs was bouncing nervously, a chirp from your smartwatch informing you that your heart rate was rising.
“Baby, how about you sit down and let me get your stuff ready?” Liam coaxed as he crossed the apartment, coming up behind you with a steadying arm around your waist. You sagged into his embrace, letting out a trembling sigh as you mumbled,
“I'm just nervous. And I can't get all the jitters out if I'm sitting.” Liam hummed in acknowledgement before asking,
“But would it help get your heart rate down to sit? That might be a good idea, even if you still feel jittery.” You nodded, allowing him to lead you over to the couch. He guided you to snuggle yourself into the crook of his arm, wrapped up in comforting warmth. Breathing came a bit easier with his steady heartbeat rhythmically thumping against your back.
“Thanks,” you whispered into the silence, watching your heart rate ease its way down into safer territory.
“Of course, my love,” Liam murmured, pressing a kiss to your temple. You let out a sigh, voicing a desire that you'd been pushing down all morning.
“I know I told you that you didn't need to come, but now I'm wishing I'd said I needed you there.” Going to your physician’s office was always an ordeal for you. Your primary care physician was sweet and took you seriously, but she was only working part time ever since she'd given birth to twin girls. Now every time you went to the doctor's, you had no idea if you'd get your physician, or one of her colleagues who didn't believe you were truly sick and instead tried to prescribe you antidepressants.
“I have something to confess,” Liam admitted, looking at you sheepishly. “I already took work off, just in case you changed your mind and wanted me to come. I know that's silly of me, and you can be upset if you want, but I just wanted to make sure you were comfortable.” You looked at Liam with grateful disbelief before throwing your arms around him and kissing him deeply. When you pulled back, he looked slightly dazed, and you giggled.
“Liam, you don't ever have to apologize for trying to help me. Thank you for looking out for me.” He grinned.
“Does that mean you want me to come with you today?”
“If you're sure you are okay with it,” you replied.
“Of course I'm okay with it,” he laughed. “Any time I get to spend with my lovely, amazing girlfriend is a win in my book.” You wrinkled your nose.
“Even if that time is spent at the doctor's office trying to help her advocate for herself?”
“Especially then,” Liam insisted.
You marveled for a moment at how lucky you were to have such a wonderful man be yours. Then, in the interest of not being late for your appointment, you got Liam to help you up off the couch so you could finish packing your bag with all the things you might need.
One thing being disabled had taught you was how to be prepared for anything, all the time.
The waiting room was cold when you walked inside, the cool air refreshing on your face. You clutched Liam's hand as you walked to the check in desk, giving them your name and date of birth in a nervous whisper.
“Alright, you'll be seeing Dr. Melgren today. We'll call you back when we're ready,” the lady at the reception desk said. You flinched but nodded. Once you were settled into seats in the waiting room, Liam asked,
“What's wrong, baby?”
“Dr. Melgren never listens to me,” you murmured. “He always tells me that I'm just anxious and then makes a comment about exercise or laziness. This is just going to be a waste of time and money.”
“I'm sorry, my love,” Liam said, rubbing your shoulder soothingly. “I can come back with you and help you advocate for yourself, if you want.”
“Yes, please,” you sighed. “I'm too exhausted today to do it myself.” Liam smiled down at you, but it was bittersweet. It was the look of frustration he always got when hearing about your bad experiences with doctors, like he wanted to give them a piece of his mind but was also trying to restrain himself. You placed a hand on his cheek, trying to convey your gratitude in a simple touch.
A nurse called your name, and Liam helped you stand up slowly, a comforting hand on your back to support you on the long walk to the examination rooms. At least your nurse was one of the nice ones. She was kind when she took your vitals and meticulous when checking over your medical history. You gave her a grateful smile as she left the room, assuring you that it shouldn't be too long a wait until Dr. Melgren was ready for you.
The moment she left the room, you slumped down on the examination table, Liam looking at you worriedly.
“I'm okay,” you reassured him. “Just…not looking forward to this.”
“I'm going to make sure he listens,” Liam promised, getting up from the plastic chair pushed against the wall in order to stride over to the examination table, taking your hands in his large, warm ones. You smiled weakly, grateful for his desire to help but unsure Dr. Melgren would actually listen. Sure, Liam was a man, which would help, but you weren't sure that would help with a doctor as incapable of listening as Dr. Melgren.
“Knock, knock,” came the low, gravelly voice of Dr. Melgren. You heaved a sigh and then called,
“Come in!”
Dr. Melgren came in with that pompous smirk you hated, a trademark of his aloof air that you never looked forward to. He looked at you, sitting there swinging your legs, and then glanced at Liam, who'd gone back to the staticky chair in the corner.
“I see you're back,” Dr. Melgren said with a raised eyebrow. “I'm guessing you were hoping to see Dr. Devera?”
“She's my PCP, so yes,” you said, barely containing your annoyance.
“Well, unfortunately, you got me,” the doctor grinned, and you wondered how someone with such a malicious smile could become a doctor. “I see you're here to talk about your current treatment plan for your POTS?”
“Yes.”
“Well, I see we've already got you all but officially diagnosed, and you've got an insurance claim for your salt supplements. I'm not sure what more you could possibly ask for.” You felt your teeth grit together of their own accord, your ears buzzing as you struggled to contain your anger. The moment you heard that he would be the attending doctor, you knew this was how the appointment would be.
“With all due respect, Dr. Melgren, the fact that I'm not officially diagnosed should be enough to explain why I'm still here asking for more.” You huffed, crossing your arms as you told him, “I'm at the point where I need a wheelchair because of how severe my symptoms are getting. But since I'd be an ambulatory wheelchair user, insurance won't pay for it unless I have an official diagnosis. And in order to get that official diagnosis, I need a tilt table test. So this is me asking you to order me a tilt table test so insurance will cover that, too.”
Dr. Melgren didn't respond at first, simply staring at you with an unreadable expression on his face. Then he sighed.
“I don't think you understand that tilt table tests should only be done if absolutely necessary, because they cost a lot of money for the insurance companies. I don't think that confirming a diagnosis you already have is a good enough reason.”
“I literally told you why it is necessary!” you exclaimed, frustrated. “And I don't already have the diagnosis, not really. I just have the professional understanding that I should get the diagnosis!” You felt the wave of helplessness begin to overtake you as Dr. Melgren rubbed his temples. That was the universal sign for ‘Wow, what an entitled patient. Imagine wanting actual answers.’
“Ma’am, I think you're getting a bit overly emotional. Maybe we should pause this appointment here and revisit this issue once—” You looked at Liam, panicked, trying to communicate silently that you needed him to help. You didn't have the energy to fight with this man anymore. He understood immediately, nodding his head before standing up and using that commanding tone of voice that sent pleasant shivers down your spine to stop Dr. Melgren mid-sentence.
“Stop,” he said, stunning the other man into silence. Once Liam was sure the doctor was listening, he continued. “My girlfriend has come to you for help, and you have insulted and dismissed her. She has asked you for something, given reasons why you could help, and proven her point, and you choose to blatantly ignore her and discredit her. You should be ashamed of yourself. No good doctor should ever behave this way.” Dr. Melgren seemed stunned into silence, so Liam added,
“I am trying to be polite, however, if you continue to disrespect my girlfriend and willingly ignore her, I will tell everyone about this until someone with the power to make you do something hears about it. I will be a thorn in your side for as long as I need to. It's up to you how long that will be.”
You and Dr. Melgren both sat in shock for a few seconds, but you were in awe while Melgren seemed…nervous? Plain scared? Liam was a golden retriever, but when he let his German Shepherd side out, he did not back down. Finally, Dr. Melgren shook himself from his shocked stupor and turned to you with a grimace.
“I'll…I'll order that tilt table test for you.” You nodded in acknowledgement, feeling Liam settle a hand on your shoulder as he asked,
“Is there anything else you need from him, baby?” You thought for a moment before responding.
“Maybe just a note that my need for a wheelchair is a valid one, considering the way my symptoms have progressed.” Liam nodded and looked sternly at Dr. Melgren, who immediately complied. Liam watched over his shoulder to make sure the note was well-written and then turned to you.
“Is that all, my love?”
“Yes,” you smiled, taking his hand as he helped you off the examination table. “That's all.”
It was only later, as you sat relaxing on the couch with Liam, that he reached over to turn off the movie you were watching in order to say,
“I'm sorry if I overstepped earlier. I was just angry, and I wanted him to see that I wasn't going to tolerate his treatment of you.”
“You didn't overstep. You did exactly what I needed,” you reassured him, running a hand through his hair gently. He breathed a sigh of relief.
“Oh, good. I'm glad I didn't overstep.” Then he turned to you earnestly, the light of the TV making his eyes glimmer. “I love you so much, baby. I hope you know that. You smiled back at him, craning your neck to press a kiss to his lips.
“I love you, too, baby. I can't even describe how much.” He grinned, then settled back in with his head on your shoulder as you pressed play on the remote, wrapped up in the love and warmth of your favorite person in the world. The person who would go to bat for you. The person who would yell at doctors for you, or run to the store in the middle of the night to get you more salty snacks. Your boyfriend.
Your Liam.
