Muffet (aka Scruffet) is originally designed by Richie. I added on the little pigtails because I liked them in her original design. (They can also be a nod to Maddaton EX's hairstyle?? Remember how Burgerpants tried making himself more rectangular like MTT??? Or maybe Maddaton was inspired by Muffet????) It was kinda hard trying to make the shirt work with 6 arms. The shirt didn't come with the pathetic boob window but Maddaton requested that she make it anyways. The second pic is some funny facial expressions.
Monster Kid and Snowdrake are pretty much the same visually but their roles are a bit different. You meet them both in Clearwater where Monster Kid is the leader of a group of kids who idolize Papyrus and the Royal Guard. They dress up like pirates and play pretend together. Snowdrake is just visiting the resort here, you'll see him on your journey as he makes his way back home to Highpeaks where his mom works. He's got souvenirs for his friends, though I'm not sure how he uses that fanny pack without arms...

This is fanart for the wonderful @grubbin22 and their amazing undertale reader insert fic "Scenic Our House" on AO3. Pls go check it out it's genuinely so funny with little angst chunks for flavor JSNBDND.
I planned to make a lot more drawings, like some scenes from the actual fic and a little battle encounter with Snowy but I straight up just ran out of time NSNKWJE, I hope u enjoy this piece tho :D.
I drew this cause like.....this may be leaning into theory territory because technically it's not stated but for the sake of spoilers I'm just gonna say if you told me Snowy the Snowdrake and Snowy the Skeleton were not connected in some way I literally wouldn't believe you/silly
Like the magic....the memories...the symbolism...HMMMM FISHY FISHY- 💥
So I drew Snowy seeing the Snowdrake family in Classic's universe for the first time based on that AJSJJSNNS.
I’m a little curious, what would a Wonderful Idea with any of the monster children look like? We already know that a big reason Snowy is estranged from their family is because their mother ‘fell down’ and never came back from the lab- Flowey already knows about the True Lab, and might be able to convince Snowy to ‘free’ their mother at all costs. Monster Kid is very eager to please and would do anything to get close to undyne, not to mention him getting very excited about the idea of her beating up all the teachers… maybe Flowey can encourage MK to go down a darker line of thought, especially if he thought the teachers were bullies. Both kids are very emotionally vulnerable and manipulatable, MK being eager to please and Snowy being desperate for validation.
Looks like you're on to something...
Wonderful Idea #15: Flowey is not a Good Babysitter and #16: Family Reunion
Finally sprited all of the main sprites for the "Main Cast" of Wandering The Surface
I'll probably make more sprites in the future but I wanted to get those out of the way
With the July newsletter approaching and new chapters on the horizon, I figure now might be a good time to list all the easy to miss/forget tidbits we should keep in mind moving forward!
According to the Spamton Q&A and sweepstakes, future character Tenna did something terrible that lead to Spamton losing his good friend Mike.
Finding Dess is one of our main goals, it was hinted at in a secret Spamton sweepstakes page as well
The mysterious entity trapped in the code will likely have two new sets of lines for the upcoming chapters. The entity could even be Dess herself, but it's unclear for the timebeing.
Something happened at the bunker, MK and Snowdrakes conversation in chapter 2 implying that Kris was involved in the incident. The mentioned event of Kris, Asriel, Dess, and Noelle exploring the forest when they were younger may also be connected to this event.
Asgore was originally the chief of police and got removed from the force, likely because of the previously mentioned event and how it may have been what caused Dess's disappearance.
the shadow mantle thats needed for Seam to craft something important with the shadow crystals is currently missing, likely stolen.
Come chapter 3, we'll be able to find the entertaining item that Metta requested.
and lastly, more of a reminder than anything forgettable:
There may be weird routes in the upcoming chapters like with chapter 2, so keep an eye out for them when said chapters are finally released!
After multiple fallen attacks once humble town of Snowdin was turned into a military outpost with the forest around it used to stop the fallen in their tracks once they left the land of exiled.
Snowdin is a harsh place to live in, being constantly surrounded by members of the royal guard gives any misplaced word or action a price too big to pay. This place won't let you leave either, every citizen can theoretically replace a dead guard or serve the ones that are alive.
Once his brother joined the royal guard, Sans had to follow to prevent all the suffering Papyrus will inevitably face, even if to the outsiders he'll be just another rookie. Sans makes little to no progress in his "career", staying at his post as one of the forest overseers. The skeletons couldn't escape the harsh treatment of the guard members, Sans even lost a tooth in one of the meaningless fights he got into.
Any rookie who joins the guard will have to face judgment and suspiction from a crowd of those taught in blood and dust to attack outsiders. Papyrus was one of those rookies. Not having too good of an imposing facade, he had to create one for himself. First was a crack in his skull, caused by one of the trainings, then sharpened teeth after a tough day of humiliation. His determination and skill with traps allowed him to climb up the ladder quick, now he's one of the overseers of the Snowdin forest that he fills with traps and puzzles to prevent the fallen and civilian escapees traversing between the land of the exiled and the rest of the underground.
Long time members of the guard like the hounds seem to been "modified" In some way. Monsters that were in contact with them say that the dogs are "unnaturally soft" And "sticky". Most of them also behave in an unstable manner, some seem to be in a kind of constant trance, others attack everything that moves friend or foe, one of them even had to be restrained. The most sane ones seem to be the dogi, they take care of others, but often lose control.
The hounds often become victims of many traps in the forest, serving as additional obstacles in them.
The town itself is way less jolly and humble then it used to be. Hotels are now also used as barracks and bars serve the rations for the guards, sacrificing warmth and liveliness of the town for practicality.
Everyone who lives on the border between the land of exiled and the rest of the underground has to be under constant watch. Many who misspoke or acted somewhat suspicious were immediately exiled to the ruins, sometimes leaving their children behind (such as monster kid).
Many civilians join the guard under threats of separation from their families via exile. Even when there is no fallen in the underground, life of a guard is not easy, exhausting practice sessions, other fight-hungry members of the guard and civilians and constant scouting for the new fallen.
The only escape rout for those ready to take that risk is a mysterious ferry person that appears at night to transport you to many corners of the underground. Some say that they were once attacked by the high ranking guard members for their activity.

(I take commissions, btw, I can draw you, your ocs, some kind of illustrations, a lot of things really)
If "So Cold" from UnderTale started playing in DeltaRune's Snowgrave Route after Berdly has been frozen into an Ice Prism, considering said Theme belongs to a certain Ice Bird's Mother-
