Hello!
This is Mohammed's family, currently residing in northern Gaza. We have initiated this fundraising campaign to help us leave Gaza for a safer place. Gaza has become uninhabitable. Let me briefly explain our situation.
Mohammed's family consists of:
Father: Mohammed (34 years old)
Mother: Sahar (30 years old)
Daughter: Tala (4 years old)
We are living in unimaginably harsh conditions. After losing our jobs in graphic design and digital marketing, we lost everything... our home, our jobs, our security, even the devices we used to work with, due to the devastating war in Gaza. We are now living in dreadful conditions, without a stable shelter or a source of income.
Our live turned into a nightmare due to the relentless war. Our warm home was not spared from the bombings; it was completely destroyed, and now we live in a small room.
We have endured numerous hardships. We have been displaced more than 5 times within northern Gaza, never reaching Rafah, always besieged under continuous bombardment, witnessing death day after day, miraculously escaping it.
On December 30th, we were trapped for 12 hours in a building belonging to our relatives, under constant airstrikes from planes and tanks. The upper floors were targeted and completely destroyed, but by the grace of God, we miraculously escaped under heavy gunfire and shelling. Mohammad was injured in his desperate attempt to escape danger, and now he suffers from a foot injury, exacerbated by the lack of medical care and malnutrition due to the famine we are facing.
We were forced to grind grains and feed on animal feed to survive. We haven't received aid for months, facing worsening conditions every day.
We separately need your support to leave Gaza and live in peace away from extermination and escape from the difficult living conditions, where bombings occur everywhere and every moment, electricity is scarce, and there is no decent food available. We have endured so much destruction in Gaza.
Please, help us leave Gaza and move to Egypt. The travel cost to cross the Egyptian border is $8,500 per person, and your contributions will be allocated to ensure their safe passage and evacuation from Gaza, in addition to covering the basic costs associated with them.
HOW WILL WE USE THE MONEY ?!
Your donations will give our family motivation to work hard for a new beginning. We decided to start this fundraising to help us to start a new and safe life So please we need your support thank you.
Your Donations cover:
Basic necessities
(water, food, hygiene products, children supplies)
Passport fees
Border crossing fees
Temporary accommodations and flights out of Egypt should we be able to secure them safe passage
In short, you can help us by:
Contributing: Every donation, regardless of its size, makes a difference in our lives.
Promoting: Help amplify our cause by sharing this fundraising campaign with your network of friends and family on social media platforms.
Let's join forces together to give us a new chance at life. We urgently need our support and solidarity.
Thank you for every contribution you make and for standing by their side in these difficult circumstances.
We will always be grateful for your generosity.

Fed up with reading biased reviews and analysis from SaaS vendors themselves? We understand; they're often just trying to sell their services. That's why we've created this guide – to provide you with a straightforward and unbiased overview.
In the digital realm, where every like, share, and follow counts, it is not surprising that the social media marketing agency has emerged as a game changer.
As the digital landscape reshapes traditional marketing norms, the role of social media agencies is increasingly gaining prominence, acting as a critical nexus between businesses and their audiences.
Why so?
The numbers are impressive, but the real potential lies in the connections, engagement, and relationships built on these platforms.
A social media agency wears many hats – from strategist and content creator to community manager and data analyst. Leveraging their expertise, businesses can tap into the potential of social media, sparking conversations around their brand, engaging with their audience, and driving growth.
Let’s embark on a journey to explore the fascinating world of running a successful social media agency.
Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Starting Your Social Media Agency
1.1 Identifying Your Niche
The answer is your niche.
In the digital marketing world, a “one size fits all” approach rarely brings success. Your agency must have a unique focus that aligns with your passion, expertise, and market demand.
Niches can be industry-specific, demographic-focused, or platform-centric. However, your niche should resonate with you and be something you’re passionate about, as this passion will be your fuel on this journey.
So, whether you’re a fitness enthusiast wanting to help gyms with their social media, or a tech wizard focused on helping software companies, finding the right niche will make your services more targeted, valuable, and sought-after.
1.2 Building a Solid Foundation
An idea without a foundation is like a skyscraper without its base—destined to crumble.
Building a robust foundation for your social media agency involves a deep understanding of your brand, services, goals, and objectives.
Think of your brand as a person. What does it stand for?
What are its values?
What is its personality?
Setting clear goals and objectives is another crucial aspect.
What are you aiming to achieve in the next year?
Maybe it is to secure five ongoing clients or to reach a specific revenue milestone. Having these goals allows you to develop a roadmap for your agency’s growth.
Remember, these goals should be SMART – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
Solidifying your brand, defining your services, and setting clear goals is like building a strong foundation for your agency. These elements are the bedrock upon which the rest of your business strategy will be built.
1.3 Packaging Your Services
Deciding on which services to offer is only half the battle won. The real challenge lies in packaging them attractively, thus appealing to your potential clients.
Think about it from the clients’ perspective – why should they choose your services over others?
What unique value proposition are you offering?
A neat trick is to offer services in bundles, where each package caters to different needs and budgets.
For instance, a basic package could include content creation and basic SEO, a mid-tier package might offer social media management and engagement tracking, and a premium package could provide a complete solution, including paid ad campaigns, comprehensive SEO, and data analytics.
By doing so, you’re not just selling services but solutions that promise results, packaged to meet diverse client needs and budgets.
1.4 Winning Clients
A useful starting point is leveraging your personal and professional network. Reach out to local businesses, attend industry events, join online communities, and let them know about your services.
Remember, word-of-mouth is a powerful tool. Satisfied customers can become your brand ambassadors, bringing in more clients.
Regularly publish blogs and articles on industry trends and best practices. This positions you as a thought leader in your niche, attracting more clients.
Social proof is another powerful way to attract clients. Case studies, testimonials, and client success management stories provide tangible evidence of your capabilities. It helps build trust and credibility with potential clients.
However, the most important strategy for winning clients is delivering top-notch service. Your clients are investing their money and trust in you, and nothing speaks louder than results.
Make their satisfaction your top priority, and they’ll not only stick around but also refer you to others. Building strong, long-lasting relationships with your clients is the real secret to a successful social media agency.

Chapter 2
Chapter 2: Running Successful Social Media Campaigns
2.1 Understanding Your Audience
So, how do you get to know your audience?
It’s not about guessing or assuming; it is about data-driven insights. Social media platforms are a treasure trove of data.
Leveraging analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social, you can uncover vital information about your audience—demographics, interests, online behaviors, and more.
It’s about knowing what resonates with them, what sparks their interest, what drives them to engage, or what influences their purchasing decisions.
These insights will help you tailor your content, tone, and messaging, ensuring they hit the right chord with your audience.
Remember, understanding your audience isn’t a one-time process; it is continuous. As audience preferences evolve, so should your understanding.
Always be on your toes, ready to learn, adapt, and deliver what your audience truly wants.
2.2 Creating Engaging Content
In the world of social media, content is the currency. It is how you engage with your audience, how you communicate your brand message, and how you drive actions – be it likes, shares, comments, or conversions.
So, how do you create content that not only grabs attention but also incites engagement?
How-to guides, thought leadership articles, fun quizzes, or behind-the-scenes stories?
This is where your audience analysis comes into play.
Quality trumps quantity every time. It is better to post less frequently but provide value with each post.
Always ask yourself, “What’s in it for the audience?”
Ensure your content adds value, be it in the form of information, entertainment, or inspiration.
Don’t forget the power of storytelling. People connect with stories, so weave your brand message into a story. Share success stories, customer testimonials, or your journey, making your brand more relatable.
Lastly, encourage engagement. Ask questions, seek opinions, run contests, or use interactive features like polls or quizzes.
The more your audience interacts with your content, the higher the chances of it being seen by a broader audience, thanks to the algorithms of social media platforms.
Creating engaging content isn’t about luck; it is about understanding your audience, delivering value, and fostering engagement.
If done right, it can turn your social media platforms into bustling communities, driving growth for your agency.
2.3 Monitoring and Adjusting Your Campaigns
Social media isn’t a “set it and forget it” game. It is a dynamic ecosystem that demands constant monitoring and adjustments.
Why?
Because social media trends evolve rapidly, audience preferences change, and what works today might not work tomorrow.
Tools like Buffer, Agorapulse, Sendible, Sprout Social, and Hootsuite offer comprehensive analytics to track these metrics. But numbers alone don’t tell the full story. Dive deeper to understand what these numbers mean.
Are your posts getting good engagement but low click-throughs?
Maybe your call-to-actions aren’t compelling enough.
Is your follower growth slow?
Perhaps you need to be more active in community engagement.
Don’t shy away from experimenting. Try different types of content, posting at different times, using various hashtags. See what works best and double down on those strategies.
And don’t forget to keep an eye on your competition.
What are they doing differently?
Can you learn from their successes or mistakes?
Remember, monitoring and adjusting your campaigns isn’t a once-in-a-while task; it is an ongoing process. The more frequently you check and adjust, the better your campaigns will perform.
After all, the key to winning the social media game is staying agile and ready to adapt.
2.4 Measuring Success
Measurement is the compass that guides your social media journey. It tells you if you’re heading in the right direction or if it is time to pivot.
But in the sea of data that social media provides, what should you measure?
Here are some key metrics to keep an eye on:
Engagement rate is a measure of how much your audience interacts with your content. It includes likes, comments, shares, saves, or click-throughs.
Reach and impressions tell you how many people saw your post and how often. If these numbers are low, perhaps you need to adjust your posting schedule, use different hashtags, or promote your posts to reach a wider audience.
Follower growth is a measure of how your audience size is growing. While it is not the only metric to focus on, a steady growth in followers indicates people find value in your content and want to see more.
Conversion rate is the ultimate measure of your campaign success.
If your conversions are low, maybe you need to tweak your call-to-actions or offer more compelling incentives.
Remember, these numbers are just data unless you glean insights from them.
What are they telling you about your audience, your content, or your strategies?
What lessons can you learn, and how can you apply them to future campaigns?
In the end, success in social media isn’t just about hitting numbers; it is about understanding what these numbers mean, learning from them, and using these insights to continually refine your strategies. Because in social media, as in life, the real success lies in continual learning and growth.

Chapter 3
Chapter 3: Growing Your Social Media Agency
3.1 Scaling Your Services
There’s a fine line between growing and scaling. Growth often means adding resources at the same rate that you’re adding revenue, but scaling is about adding revenue at an exponential rate without incurring significant costs.
As you experience success with your social media agency, it is crucial to think about how to scale effectively.
Knowing when to scale is as important as knowing.
How are you turning away potential clients due to lack of capacity?
Is your team consistently overwhelmed with tasks?
Are your existing clients asking for more services that you currently do not offer?
As you scale, focus on your core competencies. You don’t need to be everything to everyone. Identify the services that you excel at and that your clients love, and expand on those.
Outsourcing tasks that are not within your core competencies can also help you focus on what truly matters.
Invest in tools and technology that can automate or simplify your processes. This can include social media scheduling tools, analytics tools, or project management tools. By automating repetitive tasks, you free up time to focus on strategic decisions.
But remember, while you’re scaling your services, never compromise on quality. Quality is what earned you your clients in the first place, and it is what will keep them around as you grow.
3.2 Building a Team
Behind every successful social media agency is a strong, skilled team. As you scale your services, you’ll need more hands on deck. However, building a team isn’t just about hiring more people; it is about hiring the right people.
Start by identifying the roles you need. You’ll likely need social media managers, content creators, graphic designers, ad specialists, and possibly more, depending on your range of services.
When hiring, look for individuals who bring not only the necessary technical skills but also align with your agency’s culture and values. Remember, skills can be taught, but attitude and work ethic can’t.
Once you’ve hired your team, invest in their growth. Provide them with regular training and resources to stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in social media.
Delegate responsibilities effectively. Make sure each team member knows their roles and responsibilities. Clear delegation not only increases efficiency but also empowers your team, leading to higher job satisfaction.
Finally, celebrate wins and learn from losses as a team. Foster a culture where each member feels valued and part of the bigger picture. After all, the strength of your agency lies in the strength of its team.
3.3 Expanding Your Client Base
Attracting new clients while retaining the current ones is an art every social media agency needs to master. Your client base is the lifeline of your agency, so it is crucial to keep expanding it.
Start by identifying your ideal client.
What industry are they in?
What size is their business?
What are their pain points?
The more specific you can get, the more targeted your marketing efforts will be.
Leverage your existing clients. Word-of-mouth is a powerful marketing tool. Encourage your clients to refer you to their networks. You can even offer a referral program with incentives to make it more appealing.
Content marketing can also help attract new clients. By sharing valuable, relevant content on your website or social media platforms, you can establish yourself as a thought leader in your field, attracting potential clients.
Networking should not be overlooked. Attend industry events, join online forums, or participate in LinkedIn groups. The more people in your industry know about you, the higher the chances of getting client referrals.
In the end, expanding your client base is about building relationships. Whether it is with potential clients, existing clients, or industry peers, invest time and effort in nurturing these relationships, and they’ll pay dividends in the long run.
3.4 Staying Ahead of the Curve
In the ever-evolving world of social media, the only constant is change. Trends shift, algorithms update, and new platforms emerge. To stay relevant and successful, your agency needs to stay ahead of the curve.
First and foremost, be a lifelong learner. Social media is a rapidly changing field, and what worked a few months ago might not work today.
Follow industry blogs, attend webinars and conferences, participate in online forums, and learn from other industry leaders.
Tools like Google Trends, BuzzSumo, or SEMrush can help you keep track of the latest trends.
Don’t be afraid to experiment. The best way to understand a new trend or platform is to get your hands dirty.
Try out different types of content, experiment with new formats, explore different platforms. Some of these experiments might fail, but the lessons learned will be invaluable.
So, even if a new trend feels daunting, lean into it. You never know—it might be the next big thing for your agency.
Staying ahead of the curve isn’t just about being the first to jump on a new trend; it is about continually evolving, learning, and adapting to the changing landscape.
It’s about being proactive, not reactive. In the fast-paced world of social media, that’s what sets successful agencies apart.
Conclusion
Final Takeaway
We’ve traversed through the realms of establishing, running, and growing a successful social media agency.
From identifying your niche, building a solid foundation, packaging your services, and winning clients, to understanding your audience, creating engaging content, monitoring campaigns, and measuring success.
And we didn’t stop there. We explored scaling your services, building a formidable team, expanding your client base, and staying ahead of the curve.
Embarking on this journey isn’t for the faint-hearted. It requires dedication, hard work, continual learning, and most importantly, a passion for social media.
But remember, every large agency you admire today once started small. They too faced challenges, made mistakes, learned, and grew. The key is to stay committed to your vision and to continually adapt to the evolving landscape of social media.
Here’s to your journey in running a successful social media agency. May the virtual world of likes, shares, and comments become your playground, and may you create digital magic that wins hearts, minds, and businesses.
Now, go out there and make a difference. You’ve got this!

Y2K’s Forgotten Heroes And The Looming Threat of 2038
I feel like sharing some information about the 90′s to people here. Particularly about Y2K, aka Internet Armageddon That Didn’t Happen In 2000 Thanks To People You Haven’t Heard Of Like My Mom.
My mom, among her teammates and people tasked with similar roles to her, never get any recognition for the work they did in keeping computers across the globe functioning in 2000. She was a project manager among a group of overstressed, underappreciated people that worked at a company called Intel that are responsible for preventing a global societal collapse in 1999. Y2K being allowed to happen the way people thought it would (and really, it was going to be worse than even Intel could forecast and they still don’t know how bad it would’ve been) would’ve undoubtedly destroyed the fabric of the internet in 1999 and 2000, and therefore, no social media platforms like this Hellsite right here. She’s actually on tumblr and has been following the Muskrat’s destruction of Twitter with mute, techie horror.
In the years leading up to 2000, the world was panicking on its tenderhooks due to the looming crisis that was Y2K. For those of you that are either too young to remember or just didn’t know about it, Y2K was a big deal. A planet-alteringly big deal. A “We don’t know how much would’ve crashed and burned in our world’s society and economy if we’d ignored it,” big deal. tl;dr: All computer software around the world wasn’t programmed to have their internal clocks transfer to January 1st, 2000. Instead, what was going to happen was every functioning computer in the world running Intel software - on New Years Eve, 1999 - would change calendars to January 1st, 1900.
This was a catastrophic prospect for everyone impacted by the computer age. People receiving social security benefits and paying off formal loans with interest rates would suddenly receive benefits and payment rates documented in 1900. NORAD, the international weather-tracking service kids use to track Santa on Christmas Eve and that warns people of natural disasters like hurricanes, would have gone dark with no timestamps to indicate major shifts in weather. Entire governments would lose all digital contact with one another. The WHO and CDC would go dark. Hospital networks would’ve gone down. The Stock Market would’ve gone to shit. No one in the world would’ve been immune. If Japan suffered a massive, horrific famine due directly to the 1929 crash of the US Stock Market before the Internet, imagine what would’ve happened if the very screens that displayed the global stock market records to major metropolitan cities around the world just... stopped working in 2000. Went dark. Blue-screened. An entire system built upon split-second trades, bids, buyouts, and reports for trade around the world would’ve shut down for a lot longer than just a split second.
By the time it was almost the year 2000, the Internet as we knew it was like a gigantic, invisible, planet-sized Rube Goldberg machine that a comparatively microscopic group of people were tasked with repairing before it could fail in ways they couldn’t foretell, without being able to live-test any of their solutions. It was “Fuck it, we’re doing it live!” to the extreme. Most of the programmers that had built the infrastructure for the Internet and computer technology as we recognize it, all the way back in the 60′s, were retired, dead, no longer working in those sectors, or simply hadn’t kept up with changes in the technology and couldn’t be brought up to speed to help in time. Even the highest echelons of the management at Intel itself didn’t really consider Y2K to be a big concern, except for my mom’s department. I still have lingering anxiety and trauma from hearing the sound of a woman’s voice shouting with panic and anger, because she was the one literally shouting into her phone to “Nah, we’ll be fine,” Luddite tech giants that NO, NOTHING WAS FINE AND EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE VERY BAD from the time I was born in 1992 to January 1st, 2000.
Any programs and companies relying upon Microsoft software, even Word and Excel, would have either suffered catastrophic errors, or ceased to function altogether, too. The team handling Y2K didn’t know how bad it could’ve actually gotten at the time, and they were still responsible for stopping it. To this day, my mom and the rest of the team members that worked with her can’t actually say how much of our technological lives would’ve been destroyed if they’d done nothing. The potential destruction was literally unfathomable. The global economy relied on computers and tech by the time Y2K became a major topic of concern to experts, much less casual everyday users.
This was before WiFi. This was before smartphones. HotSpots? The stuff of cyberpunk fantasies. This was before most cell phones had a text feature; you carried your cell phone and a pager separately, and if you thought character limits on Twitter were bad? lol. Ever had to make a collect call in a phone booth? Do you have any idea how badly we’d freak each other out over the thought of the germs on those things? If you couldn’t afford a collect call, which cost for every minute you were talking, you had to get creative and learn to say who you were and where you were to someone in the, “Caller, at the tone, please state only your name, beep” 3-second window of free time you got to contact someone.
You could’ve been stuck in a bad neighborhood at 3am. Taxis didn’t pick up hitchhikers like they do in New York, and you could screw off if you didn’t have cash on you; credit cards were mostly used at malls and supermarkets, and retail workers from the 90′s to this day still have the question “Credit or debit?” burned into their souls. You needed coins as well as bills and credit cards. It was still common to pay for groceries with a paper check, because you carried a checkbook around with you everywhere as an adult. There was no RideShare service with anyone but a serial killer, because yeah, serial killers loved targeting stranded pedestrians back then and that’s why nobody hitchhikes anymore. Homicidal freaks like The Green River Killer (Gary Ridgway) and BTK (Dennis Rader) were still at large and unidentified. It was thanks to revolutions in tech and computers that they were caught at all; BTK having been busted thanks to metadata and TIME STAMPS on a floppy disk.
AOL was still one of the top ISPs and email services to the United States. You would receive installation CDs for AOL in children’s cereal boxes like prizes. Dial-up was still a normal part of life. Blockbuster was renting out Nintendo 64 games along with VHS movies. DVD players were revolutionary. Barnes & Noble and Borders were still competing. The FBI still warned you at the start of a movie that piracy was illegal while almost every VHS had a “record” setting you could use with impunity. Amazon was primarily an online bookstore. J.K. Rowling was just some closeted TERF that just published her first weird, popular British fairytale about some kid that went to a school for wizards where goblins were real but black people weren’t. You could get a copy at the Scholastic Book Faire if your school library didn’t have it. MySpace wasn’t a thing. YouTube didn’t exist. Cell phones were big and sturdy enough to be used as a lethal weapon. AskJeeves was one of the most popular search engines because, fuck it, Jeeves was a dapper butler and asking him questions was fun. A phone call could disconnect you from the internet unless you paid for multiple lines. DSL was seen as the newest, hottest, next-gen concept. The World Trade Center was still standing and present in the generic backdrops of nearly every daytime or New York-based news or talk show. Mr. Rogers, Bill Nye, and Bob Ross were amazing children on PBS between episodes of Reading Rainbow and Sesame Street while people were shell-shocked over Princess Diana’s death. Pluto was still classified as a planet. Wishbone was a Jack Russel Terrier that reenacted famous literary adventures.
Germany was being cajoled into reunifying after Mr. Gorbachev agreed to take the wall down. Namibia was a new country and no longer part of South Africa. We were losing our minds over photos from the brand new Hubble Space Telescope. Yugoslavia existed. Czechoslovakia was splitting. We were learning to call the USSR “Russia” again. Yemen was being unified. The Human Genome Project had just been announced. The Cold War was finally over!
Meanwhile, my mom worked as a project manager at Intel specifically tasked with replacing and/or reprogramming any and all Intel computer software with extended time stamps past 1999, for the entire technological world. You’re here, right now, reading this very post in part thanks to her and her team’s exhaustive years of work to change and update the entire world’s software. If it required anything from Intel to function or had to co-function with Intel, it was part of my mom’s job to beat the literal countdown to January 1st, 2000.
If she and her team failed, it was lights out. She was bouncing me on her knee while fielding calls from everywhere from Silicon Valley, California, to London, England, to Beirut, Lebanon, to Tokyo, Japan. My every day around her was nothing but tech-talk when it was actually in English. Those incredibly intelligent, clever, gifted men and women from around the world spared not a single second for themselves when it came to their singular, united focus on stopping Y2K from bringing the entire global economy and communications to their knees.
My mom didn’t take maternity leave with my baby brother in 1998; she telecommuted instead in order to keep working. When she would go on business trips almost every week, she would bring me back plush toys of dolls in clean-room Intel Bunny Suits instead of stuffed animals. Stopping Y2K was too important.
And you know what happened? Nothing. 2000 rolled around, and the first thing to start were conspiracy theories that Y2K had been made up, or that Y2K itself had been its own conspiracy theory to trick users into buying new computers and software. In fact, the people responsible for preventing Y2K turned an impending global disaster into what is now known as “the first challenge of the 21st century successfully met.“
And yet, to this very day, the real people responsible for fixing everything before it had a chance to break go unmentioned and unrecognized. They never received fanfare or thanks, but scrutiny and skepticism instead. Can you imagine doing a job so well and so efficiently that the entire modern world either ignored you, or even got pissed at you because things didn’t fall apart? Their children - me included - grew up steeped in the understanding and fear that if we tried to demand more attention from them, we were stopping them from saving the world as we knew it.
So, as you finish reading this, I ask you to go out there and learn about “The 2038 Problem”. While it’s being handled differently thanks to the precedent my mom and her fellow badass, dedicated teammates set, it still has to be handled in time, just like Y2K. The original team may have been left to disappear into obscurity, so the very least we can do is thank the hard-working people that are toiling away as we speak to keep the lights on again in 2038.

Turkish defense company tests high-tech EFSA radar that improves the country's combat aircraft
MURAD AESA radar of the Turkish ASELSAN completes inaugural flight with F-16 OZGUR warplane
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 03/28/2024 - 09:00 in Military
Turkey recently tested the nationally developed AESA radar, ASELSAN's MURAD, which recently conducted its first flight with an F-16 ÖZGÜR warplane.
“ASELSAN's AESA National Aircraft Nose Radar made its first flight with the F-16 ÖZGÜR platform. It will provide great capacity gains to our aircraft with simultaneous air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, detection/tracking of multiple targets, missile orientation beyond visual range, high-resolution ground images and electronic warfare functions,” the company confirmed in a social media post.
Tumblr media
— ASELSAN (@aselsan) March 26, 2024
This demonstration provided data for additional testing and development of the radar system.
Future plans for MURAD include continuous testing and integration on various platforms, such as Bayraktar AKINCI TIHA, as well as other aerial platforms such as KIZILELMA, KAAN, HÜRJET, ANKA III, AKINCI and F-16.
Tumblr media
According to the President of the Presidential Defense Industry, Prof. Haluk GÖRGÜN, the integration of the AESA radar will align the F-16 ÖZGÜR with the standards of generation 4.5 aircraft. In addition, radar integration could improve the capabilities of other platforms such as KAAN and combat UAVs, providing them with additional functionality and low visibility features.
Aselsan CEO Ahmet Akyol highlighted the versatility of AESA technology, emphasizing its application in various domains, including air, land and sea.
Tumblr media
He noted that the internal development of Aselsan's EASA radar systems allows Turkey to maintain full control over technology and data, ensuring the highest level of security and capabilities.
The size of the global market for the combat aircraft equipped with AESA radar is estimated at $5 billion annually, with ongoing export negotiations positioning Aselsan radars as key actors in the global aerospace market.
Tumblr media
The ÖZGÜR Project aims to modernize F-16 Block 30 warplanes with domestic avionics and software, including the AESA National Radar. This initiative is expected to align the capabilities of the F-16 ÖZGÜR aircraft with those of the F-16 Block 70 fighters, ensuring uniformity and effectiveness throughout the fleet.
The main functions and capabilities of the EFSA National Radar include long-range search, multiple target tracking, detection and tracking of terrestrial targets, weather detection, automatic target detection and electronic attack.

Beyond Sponsored Posts: How Influencer Marketing Will Evolve in 2023
Tumblr media
In recent years, influencer marketing has become one of the most popular – and effective – marketing tools. Companies of all sizes are turning to influencers to help them promote their products and services.
However, influencer marketing is constantly evolving, and companies must stay up-to-date on the latest trends if they want to continue to be successful. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at some of the ways in which influencer marketing will evolve in 2023.
What Is Influencer Marketing?
Before discussing how influencer marketing will evolve, we must take a moment to consider what it actually is. Influencer marketing is the practice of leveraging influential people to help your company promote its products and services. These “influencers” are people who have amassed large followings of people on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.
These influencers have the potential to reach a large number of people, giving them the potential to have a major impact on the success or failure of a product or service. Companies can partner with influencers to create sponsored posts, videos, and other content in which the influencer promotes the company’s product or service. This content can then be shared with the influencer’s followers to reach a larger audience than the company could have without the influencer’s help.
Why is influencer marketing important?
Influencer marketing is a powerful tool that can help organizations increase their reach and visibility in ways traditional advertising can’t. Because influencers have built up a dedicated audience of followers who trust them and their recommendations, their endorsements have the potential to drive more sales and leads for companies.
Also, companies can secure high-quality content from these influencers that can be shared with their followers, making influencer marketing a cost-effective option for amplifying their marketing efforts. Furthermore, it allows companies to target specific audiences and tailor their message to different audiences with the help of different influencers.
Finally, through influencer marketing, brands can also increase engagement on their social media channels and build relationships with influential figures who can then become advocates for the brand.
What are the challenges of influencer marketing?
While influencer marketing appears to be the best way to reach potential customers and create brand awareness, it does come with a few challenges. The first one being that influencers may not always represent a brand in the best light. This is because influencers post content based on what they find entertaining and engaging and sometimes that is not in line with what the brand wants to convey. Therefore, companies should closely monitor the activities of the influencers and make sure that the content they are posting reflects the brand’s message.
The other challenge is the cost associated with influencer marketing. Finding the perfect influencer for your brand can be a time-consuming and costly process. Companies need to do their research and select an influencer that is the right fit for their brand and its message. Moreover, companies should also consider the cost of paying influencers, as some of them charge quite a lot for promoting your products.

What are Videos Upload Sites and its benefits?
Tumblr media
Video upload sites, also known as video hosting platforms, are websites that allow users to upload, store, and share videos with others. These platforms have gained immense popularity in recent years, thanks to the widespread use of video content on the internet. In this article, we will explore the benefits of video upload sites and how they have revolutionized the way we consume and share videos online.
Accessibility: Video upload sites provide a convenient and accessible way to share videos with a wide audience. Instead of relying on physical media or file transfers, users can simply upload their videos to a hosting platform and share a link with others. This accessibility has made it easier for individuals, businesses, and organizations to reach a global audience with their video content.
Bandwidth and Storage: Uploading videos directly to a website can be challenging due to the large file sizes involved. Video upload sites solve this problem by offering ample storage space and handling the bandwidth requirements. They are equipped with robust infrastructure that can handle the high volume of video uploads and downloads, ensuring smooth playback and seamless user experience.
Video Compression and Optimization: Video upload sites often employ advanced compression algorithms to optimize the size of uploaded videos without compromising on quality. This compression reduces the bandwidth required for streaming and makes it easier for viewers with slower internet connections to access the content. Additionally, these platforms often support multiple video formats and resolutions, allowing users to choose the most suitable option for their audience.
Embedding and Sharing Options: Video upload sites offer various sharing options to facilitate the dissemination of video content across different platforms. Users can embed videos on their websites or blogs, share them on social media platforms, or send direct links to friends and colleagues. This flexibility enables videos to reach a broader audience and encourages engagement and interaction.
Analytics and Insights: Many video upload sites provide analytics and insights to users, allowing them to track the performance of their videos. These analytics may include metrics such as view count, engagement rate, and audience demographics. By analyzing these data points, content creators can gain valuable insights into viewer preferences, improve their content strategy, and make data-driven decisions to optimize their video marketing efforts.
Monetization Opportunities: Video upload sites offer monetization options, allowing content creators to earn revenue from their videos. These platforms often include features like ad placements, sponsorship opportunities, and subscription models. By leveraging these monetization options, individuals and businesses can turn their video content into a profitable venture.
Community and Interaction: Video upload sites foster a sense of community by providing comment sections, likes, shares, and other engagement features. This enables viewers to interact with the content creators and fellow viewers, fostering discussions, feedback, and collaborations. The ability to connect with an engaged audience enhances the overall experience and encourages content creators to continue producing high-quality videos.
Archiving and Backup: Uploading videos to a dedicated hosting platform ensures their long-term preservation and serves as a backup option. Instead of relying solely on local storage, which can be susceptible to data loss, users can rely on the video upload site's infrastructure to securely store and protect their videos. This archival function is particularly valuable for businesses and individuals with extensive video libraries.
Integration with Third-Party Tools: Video upload sites often offer integration with various third-party tools and services. For instance, they may integrate with video editing software, content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools. These integrations streamline workflows and allow users to leverage the capabilities of multiple tools from a centralized platform.
Global Reach and Scalability: Video upload sites provide a platform for content creators to reach a global audience without geographic limitations. The scalability of these platforms allows videos to be simultaneously accessed by thousands or even millions of viewers, ensuring that popular videos can handle the high demand without interruption.
Best way to Upload Video
The best way to upload a video depends on several factors, such as the platform or website you are uploading to, the size and format of the video, and your internet connection speed. However, here is a general guide on how to upload a video effectively:
Prepare your video: Make sure your video is in a suitable format and resolution for the platform you're uploading to. Common video formats include MP4, MOV, and AVI. Check the platform's guidelines for recommended resolutions and aspect ratios.
Trim or edit your video (if necessary): If your video is too long or needs editing, consider using video editing software to trim or make adjustments. This step is optional but can improve the overall quality of your video.
Compress the video (if necessary): If your video file size is large, consider compressing it to reduce the upload time. There are various video compression tools available online that can help you reduce the file size without significantly affecting the video quality.
Choose the appropriate platform: Decide where you want to upload video. Some popular options include YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, and Dropbox. Each platform has its own upload process and guidelines.
Create an account (if required): If you're uploading to a platform that requires an account, create one if you don't have it already. Follow the platform's instructions to create an account and verify your identity if necessary.
Access the upload feature: Once you're logged in, find the upload feature on the platform. It's usually located in the navigation menu or profile settings.
Select the video file: Click on the upload button and select the video file from your computer or device. Some platforms may allow you to drag and drop the file directly into the upload area.
Add relevant information: Provide a title, description, and tags for your video. This information helps viewers find your video and understand its content.
Set privacy and sharing options: Choose the privacy settings for your video, such as public, private, or unlisted. Additionally, decide whether you want to share the video on social media or embed it on a website.
Start the upload: Click on the upload button to start the video upload process. The time it takes to upload will depend on your internet connection speed and the size of the video file.
Monitor the upload progress: During the upload process, keep an eye on the progress bar or percentage indicator. Make sure your internet connection remains stable to avoid interruptions.
Wait for the upload to complete: Once the video upload is finished, the platform will process the video and make it available for viewing. This processing time can vary depending on the platform and video length.
Preview and share your video: After the video has finished processing, preview it to ensure it uploaded correctly. If everything looks good, you can share the video with others by sharing the platform's video link or embedding it on a website.
Remember to respect copyright laws and the platform's community guidelines when uploading videos.
In conclusion, video upload sites have revolutionized the way we consume, create, and share video content. They have provided accessibility, reach, and a global platform for individuals and businesses to share their videos. These platforms have empowered users to become content creators and have fostered a sense of community engagement. They serve as valuable educational resources, offer entertainment and recreational content, and provide business and marketing opportunities.
Video upload sites have also had a significant social and cultural impact, offering monetization opportunities for creators and acting as digital archives for preserving videos. Moreover, these platforms have opened up career opportunities in various fields. Overall, video upload sites have transformed the digital landscape, shaping the way we interact with video content and facilitating a global exchange of ideas and creativity.

It’s billed as a summit for democracy. Under U.S. leadership, countries from six continents will gather from March 29 to March 30 to highlight “how democracies deliver for their citizens and are best equipped to address the world’s most pressing challenges,” according to the U.S. State Department.
Although advancing technology for democracy is a key pillar of the summit’s agenda, the United States has been missing in action when it comes to laying out and leading on a vision for democratic tech leadership. And by staying on the sidelines and letting others—most notably the European Union—lead on tech regulation, the United States has the most to lose economically and politically.
One in five private-sector jobs in the United States is linked to the tech sector, making tech a cornerstone of the U.S. economy. When U.S. tech companies are negatively impacted by global economic headwinds, overzealous regulators, or other factors, the consequences are felt across the economy, as the recent tech layoffs impacting tens of thousands of workers have shown.
And “tech” isn’t just about so-called Big Tech companies such as Alphabet (Google’s parent company) or social media platforms such as Meta’s Facebook and Instagram. Almost every company is now a tech company—automakers, for example, can track users’ movements from GPS data, require large numbers of computer chips, and use the cloud for data storage. Rapid developments in artificial intelligence, especially in the field of natural language processing (the ability behind OpenAI’s ChatGPT), have widespread applications across an even larger swath of sectors including media and communications.
This means that tech policy is not just about content moderation or antitrust legislation—two of the main areas of focus for U.S. policymakers. Rather, tech policy is economic policy, trade policy, and—when it comes to U.S. tech spreading across the globe—foreign policy.
As the global leader in technology innovation, the United States has a real competitive edge as well as a political opportunity to advance a vision for technology in the service of democracy. But the window to act is rapidly narrowing as others, including like-minded democracies in Europe but also authoritarian China, are stepping in to fill the leadership void.
The European Union has embarked on an ambitious regulatory agenda, laying out a growing number of laws to govern areas including digital services taxes, data sharing, online advertising, and cloud services. Although the regulatory efforts may be based in democratic values, in practice, they have an economic agenda: France, for example, expects to make 670 million euros in 2023 from digital services taxes, with much of that coming from large U.S. tech companies.
What’s worse is that while other key EU regulations, such as the Digital Markets Act (DMA), target the largest U.S. firms, they leave Chinese-controlled companies such as Alibaba and Tencent less regulated. That’s because the DMA sets out very narrow criteria to define “gatekeepers,” such as company size and market position, to only cover large U.S. firms, thus benefiting both European companies and subsidized Chinese competitors and creating potential security vulnerabilities when it comes to data collection and access.
While Europe rushes to regulate, China has developed an effective model of digital authoritarianism: strangling the internet with censorship, deploying AI technologies such as facial recognition for surveillance, and advocating for cyber “sovereignty,” which is doublespeak for state control of data and information. Beijing has been actively exporting these tools to other countries, primarily in the global south, where the United States is fighting an uphill battle to convince countries to join its global democracy agenda.
And the battle for hearts and minds has implications far beyond tech—it goes to the heart of U.S. global leadership. In last month’s vote at the United Nations to condemn Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, endorsed by the United States, the majority of the countries that voted against or abstained were from Africa, South America, and Asia.
Without a U.S.-led concerted effort to push back against authoritarian states’ desire to define the rules around technology, large democracies such as Turkey and India are also wavering, imposing increasingly authoritarian limits on free speech online. The result is growing digital fragmentation—fragmentation that benefits authoritarian adversaries.
The Biden administration says it wants to see technology harnessed to support democratic freedoms, strengthen our democratic alliances, and beat back the authoritarian vision of a government-run internet.
Here’s how it could help achieve these goals.
First, the administration should map out an affirmative technology strategy, making sure that U.S. workers and consumers benefit from U.S. tech leadership. This means investing in competitiveness and a smarter public-private approach to research and development, an area the United States has underfunded for over a decade.
Tech touches on almost every sector of the U.S. economy as well as international trade, defense, and security, and involves almost every government agency from the State Department’s Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy to the Federal Trade Commission and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. And while most European countries now have full ministries for digital affairs, the U.S. doesn’t have similarly  politically empowered counterparts tasked with coordinating a whole-of-government effort across all government agencies to produce a national strategy for technology. This needs to change.
Second, the administration should take advantage of the bipartisan consensus in the U.S. Congress on the need to push back against China’s growing domination in tech by putting forward a balanced regulatory agenda that establishes clear rules for responsible innovation. In an op-ed earlier this year, U.S. President Joe Biden called for Republicans and Democrats to hold social media platforms accountable for how they use and collect data, moderate online content, and treat their competition. To be sure, a national privacy law is long overdue, as several states have already passed their own laws, creating a confusing regulatory environment.
But this agenda is too backward-looking: Policymakers today are debating how to regulate technology from 20 years ago, when social media companies first emerged. As ChatGPT has shown, tech advancements far outpace regulatory efforts. A balanced agenda would set out key principles and ethical guardrails, rather than seek to regulate specific companies or apps. Banning TikTok, for example, won’t prevent another Chinese company from taking its place.
Third, the U.S. should reenergize its engagement in multilateral institutions. The United States is taking the right steps in endorsing Japan’s initiative at the next G-7 meeting to establish international standards for trust in data flows, known as the Data Free Flow with Trust. The administration has also appointed an ambassador at large for cyberspace and digital policy to work more closely with allies on tech cooperation.
The U.N.’s International Telecommunication Union, which helps develop standards in telecoms, is now directed by American Doreen Bogdan-Martin, which also presents an opportunity to beat back Russian and Chinese attempts to impose government control over the internet and instead reinforce the present private sector- and civil society-led internet governance model.
Washington has led important defensive efforts to challenge Beijing’s system of sovereignty and surveillance and has brought key allies along in these efforts. But it has not done enough to drive an affirmative agenda on technology innovation and tech-driven economic opportunity. The Biden administration has an opportunity now to prioritize tech. There is no time to waste.

Selecting A Chat Application
Some questions came up today regarding the plethora of chat applications we have. A quick look at my workstation’s dock gives some sense of the size of the menagerie.
Tumblr media
Left to right these are: Wire, Signal, Slack, Discord, Keybase, Element, and Telegram.
So what’s going on with all these?
The first two are Wire and Signal. Wire is the first choice for one on one or groups where there are serious security concerns. This is a Swiss company with the attendant statutory privacy protections and it has passed numerous security audits. Signal is similarly solid, but it requires sharing phone numbers, which opens a can of worms so Wire, which permits using up to three handles in the client, is the first choice. We moved from Signal in 2017 but it has been making a comeback, because there are some groups that are centered there and won’t move.
Slack and Discord are in the #3 and #4 slots. Slack is a business oriented cloud based service that faces competition from a self-hosted alternative called MatterMost. Discord is a gamer oriented cloud service that has begun making inroads in social movements and OSINT pursuits. Slack has been very popular within the cryptocurrency world and in general it’s the lingua franca for business. Slack offers a large pallete of apps that can be integrated, and it’s the only one among these various platforms that does.
Tumblr media
Next come Keybase, a fascinating take on communications with a distinct flavor meant for software developers. There are group chat features similar to Slack, including the ability to create teams. It’s got an internal files sharing method similar to Dropbox in that you can make things stored there available via the web. There’s a Git software version control function and a built in cryptocurrency wallet for Stellar’s LUMENS. The system supports cryptographic verification of external identities such as social media accounts and web sites. Sadly, it was abandoned when Zoom purchase the company in 2020.
The last two are Element and Telegram. Element is a client for the Matrix chat network, which was formerly known as Riot.IM before selecting a less provocative name. It’s open in a fashio similar to Keybase, it’s business oriented in a way much like Slack, and the group for which I installed it broke up a couple years ago. I keep it around, thinking I should know more about it.
Telegram is most like Wire and Signal in terms of features, you need a phone number and you can talk one on one or join shared channels. This became popular as a lighter, more open option than Slack for cryptocurrency, and it’s become sort of the Mos Eisley cantina of the internet, chock full of criminality and radicalization. The founder is Russian and the company moved from there to Dubai to avoid entanglement with their government. There are times where I have the application open because there are things I need to see, but I’m a silent observer, I don’t actually use it for personal or professional communications.
Which one should you use? That very much depends on what you’re doing. Here are the list of names again, this time with a use case for each.
Wire – Trusted for activism due to being a quality product from a good jurisdiction, and business grade service is available.
Signal – A 21st century replacement for PSTN voice and SMS.
Slack – Businesses will find the integrations they need here.
Discord – Gamer-centric communities use this, so if that’s your target market ...
Keybase – A visionary jewel that we hope will revive due to Twitter’s chaotic conditions.
Element – I have no clarity here so I’m going to spend some time with it.
Telegram – Full of crypto and extremists, your gateway to the red light district.
This is not an exhaustive list but these seven are leaders in the field. If I could make a wish here, I'd like to see Keybase freed from entanglement with Zoom, and back into ongoing development.

GVR Releases New Report on the Fraud Detection And Prevention Market
Fraud Detection And Prevention Industry Overview
The global fraud detection and prevention market size was valued at USD 25.67 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.6% from 2023 to 2030. Some of the major factors driving the growth of the market include increased sophistication of cyberattacks, increased online fraud, and a growing preference for advanced analytics for the identification of threat patterns, among others. Online fraud risks have been increasing in line with the rising popularity of B2C, B2B, and C2C e-commerce transactions, which often involve a mutual exchange of critical information, identity information, and personal data of individuals and enterprises.
Gather more insights about the market drivers, restrains and growth of the Fraud Detection And Prevention Market
Furthermore, the boom in mobile gaming and the growing use of social media also adds to the risks of subsequent fraud. While frauds are getting more sophisticated, the losses from these attacks are also increasing. An analysis of over 44 billion events across 800 million active users globally by Help Net Security revealed a rapid increase in the complexity of emerging attacks. This has triggered the need for a strong emphasis on contextual detection strategies capable of proactively thwarting intrusions before any potential losses.
Financial services remain the most vulnerable to online fraud, such as account takeovers, carried out using a complex combination of manual and bot-powered methods. Cases of social media fraud are also increasingly detected in the form of fake registrations and fake installs, which are difficult to track due to the large volumes involved. The looming glitches in detecting and preventing fraud often lead to reputational and financial losses, such as eroded trust, increased operational costs, and revenue and asset losses for individuals and enterprises. The rising complexity and the increasing number of frauds have triggered the demand for advanced fraud detection and prevention solutions that can potentially render a detailed understanding of user behavior patterns. At the same time, a 360-degree view of data can also prove effective in confronting online fraud at a time when internet services and digital data are increasing.
Fraudsters often keep changing their intrusion methods by using a combination of new and conventional methods to escape any detection traps. They also make sure to avoid repeating the processes of intrusion. Hence, advanced fraud detection solutions should be capable of monitoring the data in real time and analyzing the historical data to identify the pattern of attacks. DataVisor’s Unsupervised Machine Learning (UML) Engine is one such solution that can potentially identify the correlated group of malicious users sharing similar attributes. The traditional approach of fraud detection typically includes rule-based and supervised machine learning that constantly updates the model and is found to be less effective in detecting various sophisticated fraudulent attacks. Hence, updated fraud detection and prevention solutions based on the latest technologies are being aggressively adopted to arrest financial and reputational losses for individuals and enterprises.
Fraud detection and prevention rely, to a large extent, on the ability to identify threat patterns and develop suitable solutions capable of protecting enterprises from recurring attacks. Although business intelligence (BI) tools have been used conventionally to summarize the large volumes of data churned every quarter in any particular business, these conventional analytics methods cannot provide in-depth insights on a granular level to predict possible outcomes. Hence, advanced analytics tools, such as predictive analytics, data mining, big data analytics, and machine learning, are increasingly preferred to examine large volumes of data and extract patterns showcasing various trends across various industries on regional and global levels. These tools are based on a mathematical approach to interpreting data and machine learning techniques, such as deep learning, to identify patterns, form correlations, and group the data sets. Arranging the historical data in an identifiable pattern allows enterprises to counter foreseeable threats by triggering required actions leveraging fraud detection and prevention solutions.
