Giant Shadow might be like a calmer version of the Biolizard

Funny you say that… as like a month ago I wondered “haha wouldn’t it be funny if Shadow was as big as the Biolizard” and drew this right afterwards. I’ve been wanting to share it once I’ve had more drawings of this dumb thing, but I never had any ideas past this initial drawing so…

(Idk how long exactly the biolizard is. Google says he’s over 300ft. But uh his model doesn’t look that big so like)

My wife made a Sally kinsona so you know I had to make a Sonic one for myself, his name is Dash but Oak (my wife’s sona) sometimes calls him Dashie (if anybody knows where I got that name from I will be very happy)

so I've been thinking about this a lot, but honestly, I love the idea that Sonic and his friends make all the music for his games. he helps his friends make their silly theme songs, and they all feature at least once whether it's singing or writing lyrics. His games are like his eras of music.

sonic learns a bunch of different instruments in his free time, so he can make his music all by himself, but he does have a band with team Sonic and amy. sonic, lead vocals, and guitar. Tails, keyboard, or bass. Amy, drums. Knuckles is a backup drums and he helps whenever he can. Amy plays bass if Knuckles is around.

Shadow appeared a lot on the SA2 soundtrack, especially with his theme song and Live and Learn. He the lead vocals and Sonic was background vocals with guitar. Sonic even convinced Shadow to write the lyrics for a full album (Shadow the Hedgehog game soundtrack).

I like to think that Sonic would come up with his music and lyrics as he fights. So his music is basically a direct way of hearing the feeling he had during his battles. Maybe SA2's soundtrack was less intense than Frontiers because he had help, but Frontiers was much more intense because it was all on him. It could be a way to drestress after a hard battle.

What if whatever Mimic’s canon plan to do with the Restoration Diomond Cutters somehow goes wrong and now he's unofficially in charge of keeping the 3 Sapphic teenagers alive until they can obtain their footing as a team.

I'd keep their personalities mostly the same, actually. They are the way they are with the influence of trauma responses, so even if said traumatic event now swaps between them, how they react personally is still the same (And...now Terios is the one who has tried to destroy the Earth while helping Eggman. WOW.)

Terios turned out to be silent and nervous because he feels overly responsible for Maria's death. His excess need to help others also comes from being told his purpose was to help cure Maria, but he couldn't in the end. Shadow turned out like. Shadow. Due to Doleon's brutal training, brainwashing, etc. Except now he has a connection to all the Shards of Chaos and serves the Black Arms, WITH THIS MENTALITY. Ter has to redeem him, but has trouble even speaking up. Yet if he doesn't, he could be dooming the whole planet.

Terios at least would've gotten to grow up somewhat happier 😅 Doleon wouldn't have liked Shadow's stubbornness. He'd try to stamp it out of him but could probably only lessen it slightly, at most. Also, Terios (outside of this au) was trained to respond to finger snaps as a way of saying listen or obey by Doleon. I think the same would apply to Shadow here :(

I also think of this one detail in OC universe where while Doleon has Terios seek out the Shards of Chaos, he gets Shadow to go after the Chaos Emeralds. Now its in reverse.

And lastly for now, a tiny detail. Terios only has those markings around his eyes due to the "power ritual" done with the Shards on him when he was young to ensure he held a connection to their power. He wouldn't have those anymore! Shadow would, but since he already has a bit of red near there regardless, it would just look like Doleon's markings instead.

So to summarize : their pasts made up A LOT of who they are and what they did. Change those few events or details, and they go completely separate ways.
