Annabeth [leaving a movie theatre]: I'm merely stating that given that the film was based on a Jules Verne novel, they could pay at least cursory attention to scientific plausibility.
Percy I believe it's meant for children, Annabeth
Annabeth: Precisely. You wouldn't want them to go through life with a distorted understanding of physics.

Detective Murdoch: I'd use a different tone but I'm trying to accuse you of something.

Murdoch: Oh, your pronouns are he/they?
Murdoch: Well, that’s mathematically incorrect because you can still simplify the fraction since both sides have “he."
Murdoch: Making your pronouns technically One Over TY.
Watts: ...
George: Wait, I get it this time. Ohhh-
Watts: This is not funny.
George: This is math. This is a math joke!
Watts: The least funny of all jokes.
Henry: Even better, one over ty implies the inverse of Thank You.
*Everyone stares at Henry, uneased.*
Brackenreid: Pronouns: ungrateful.
Brackenreid: turns to Watts.
Brackenreid: Sounds about-
Watts: Finish that sentence, and I sabotage all of your hidden stashes.
Brackenreid: You do not know about all of my stashes.
Watts: Are you willing to test that?

Hi, so first off, love your user. Big fan of murdoch mysteries, and I feel like no one watches it, lol.
Anyways, if you're still up for reading fics, I have a James Wilson fic. You obviously don't have to read it. I'm new to writing for him, and It's my first one that is based on an idea of my own (not a request), and I just can't tell if it's any good.
Please don't feel obligated to like it, read it, or even interact with this. This is purely just me 'shooting my shot' for lack of a better phrasing.
Anyways, if you want to:

I swear there's no smut. You might say there's like...innuendos if that makes sense? I don't know. If you do look at it and feel uncomfortable/find it to be nsfw, I am so incredibly sorry.
oh my goodness this is the first time someone’s come in here with a rec for me i’m so excited to read it!
and so cool that you watch murdoch too lol i also feel like barely anyone watches it 😂
i’m also a new to writing james (like since january) but if you’d like specific feedback from what i can offer i’d be more than happy to give it i just don’t want to offer advice if that’s not what you’re looking for
and here’s the link for anyone else who wants to read!

Hello! I'm not too sure if all sources are still welcome (PLS ignore this if not) but can I get a typing quirk suggestion for myself (a William Murdoch kin from the show murdoch mysteries. However since that is such a not well known show you can just kind of go off of "vibes")
The sayings that come with the typing quirk is more so why I'm writing this, but the typing quirk also sounds nice.
im looking for things that give a detective or mysterious feeling, maybe relation to mathematics or science. But especially detectives / crime solving and the 1890s - early 1900s if possible.
This is a complicated thing to really put into words but anything would be appreciated !! (Genuinely anything)
- Murdoch
This'll be in the queue! Thanks for all the details and theme suggestions, it's very helpful, especially when it comes to fandoms not on my whitelist!/gen
