I don't drink (more than sips of things). But I keep a bottle of Stroh 80 (160 proof, 80% ABV (sometimes called Stroh 160)) butterscotch rum, because it's a super flavorful addition to baked goods (and to hot chocolate and eggnog) that I use to complement vanilla. Absolutely amazing smell.

And it has a massive kick that people don't expect.

My party trick is that I learned to sip cognac from my parents' friends, more for the skill of "can sip cognac" than anything else. And the technique works on the Stroh. So I'll tell people its proof, but also that it's a nice sipping alcohol, and then drink it without apparent distress.

I don't drink (this is known), so obviously this means that it's very approachable.

The results of people trying to imitate me are predictably hilarious.

I actually do recommend the stuff, because it's good as a mix-in (I really like it with ginger beer and hot chocolate). And in cookies, brownies, and pie fillings.

Immerhin - ein Lächeln zu erzeugen, ist immer positiv zu bewerten …
