Colonnade Hatches

Plus this wyrm that I'm keeping for now.

Oooh, I'm in love with this batch, very difficult to decide whom to let go. Rather fitting for Brightshine, too!

The more I look at them... Yes. These are the Sunbeam Ruins dragonified. Pearlcatchers, even!

I couldn't help it, I needed to procrastinate by adding graphics.

So, so, so satisfying. Visually pleasing. Wow.

The thought of themed hatches. Lore.

I had hatchery lore ideas a while ago - themed after the different locations in my lore; or based on aesthetics (Light, tropical, desert, etc.); or themes for nests.

Dragon Action

Keeping the Obelisks busy, Kaleidoscope x Wintermoon and Evren x Astralic began nesting today.

Shortly after, Auchias, Haestivol, and Amettah joined a new clan as well.

Scrying?

Plan? Lore. Reality? Scrying the Fathoms. Oh, yes, I'm so tired of scrying...? I'm much less perfectionist about it now, though. I chose to make note of the accent colors for each potential gene and will probably try to get something pleasant and affordable out of my favorites. Trying to move on to this next step, though... maybe not now. If anything, I should get back to crafting outfits.

Brightshine Brightshine Brightshine

Yes, I can use that lantern. It's versatile.

Someone predicted Cerdae as this round's familiars. While I generally prefer birbs (gryphons), I know they'll be just as well-designed. And this one makes a lot of sense for Light.

Brightshine for Cirrus and Everlux? Perfect, precisely the breeds that were on my mind the most lately. As expected, while it would fit my Everlux, I prefer my scries. I love how the Lightweaver face fins look on them, though. Also, the individual sparks flowing in the Cirrus manes!

Oh, oooooh, new sceeeene. A new look at life in Light. Ooooh. The details! Ooooooh, look, look, new columns spotted! New columns! They're different. They're Composite. Featuring a sun motive! OOOOOOOh-

I'm so up for lair scenes.

The rays are okay, too. A darker aesthetic.

Beautiful skins, of course. Some chaotic observations:

The Sunscourge: I don't have an Aberration yet, but this is one of the skins I'd want to use on them. It tickles the lore senses.

Couronne de Lumiere: Rather subtle, I can see this fitting a lot of dragons.

Scrivener: Not my personal aesthetic, but I applaud the creativity!

Radiant Scribe: Doesn't fit the one Banescale F I have, but I love it.

Cirrus skins! Yeah! Light aesthetic!

I might have a Coatl for In circles. Maybe.

More Everlux skins! YES. I don't think they quite fit my Everlux, but I will definitely have a use for them in the future. I need to stock up on skins for my favorite ancients.

Lanternlea Fisher: Wonderful colors, I love to see the aquatic aspects of Light represented.

Oh my, Bookwyrm. This one could go with two thirds of my Imperials, but I haven't gone through all site skins for them yet, so nothing definitive. A sample: (the last Imp is a potential keeper, and this skin might just sway me)

Same with For a Drop.

I'm still looking for a skin for my Sandsurge, but this one isn't quite what I want for Clarity.

Trick of the Light could be a good match for Augura.

Acquisitions & Activities

Twilight Sylvan Filigree for Corripheye: acquired.

Spare Inventory Crate: Welder's Mask and Accent: A Night in the Clouds. I welcome new skins, and this one I had marked as a favorite before, anyway.

Oh Lightweaver, I got a chest from gathering already! Dustwyrm! Everlux skin! Woooo!

Some mild grinding in Silk-Strewn Wreckage, rather unsuccessful. But it's so smooth at level 25 now.

I just noticed the coloring contest for Light.

I want to go shopping for dragons and have some new exciting pairs. Granted, I'll probably just lurk on the fodder floor, maybe look for specific breeds or a gene or two. What to expand?

Let your characters draw themselves!

Zakai: Zakai lives in a medieval fantasy setting and paints as a side hobby. I imagine his work texture heavy and evocative without being overly detailed - beautiful yet mysterious in the way that he is, being the earth incarnate.

Arkao: Arkao is a scholar who frequently sketches observations of his animal subjects, who are often fast movers, hence the messy, scribbly style. His good penmanship is attributed to his years spent in the scholasticate.

Jas: Jas'ra is a shameless attention-grabber, so of course he would work in bright red pen, his signature would be large, and his drawing would be complete with a crude joke. His style aims to replicate anime, but for being good other forms of art, he cannot draw well.

Poy: Poy works with watercolor because, being raised in a fishing community, she has interest in all things water. She's also transfem and sweet at heart, so her style would be cutesy to match, even if she's not much of an artist.

Mira: She lived the first 17 years of her life in dark caves, and even though she's out now her eyesight isn't the best, so... yeah.

Cadfael: As an interdimensional traveler with an incredibly high stakes job he would surely be detail-oriented enough to have a somewhat more realistic style, but simply cannot sacrfice his desire for personalization and edginess.

Kiana fiddled with the hem of her shirt as she nervously stared at the door in front of her. She wasn’t entirely sure if this was the correct place, but there was only one way to find out.

She’d been looking for her older sister brother since the day she he was taken away. It wasn’t until she left her parents, that she was able to get this close to FINALLY finding her him.

The apartment had been leased in her sisters brothers name, but the few people she talked to had stated that a man lived here. Hopefully she’d be able to at least get some answers from him, if nothing else.

Taking a deep breath, she finally worked up her courage and knocked on the door.

      Yellow hues squinted slightly, maybe he just misheard them? There was no way a simple human could see through his disguise. No matter now much time he has spent with the humans of this world they still are simple minded creatures. Heck even though it’s been a few years they have had actual aliens in their faces and acted as if they still don’t exists. Then again ignorance was bliss if he has learned anything on this planet.

Fandom: Tales of Symphonia + Xillia + Dragon Age ouo/

am i familiar with it? This is literally one of the first game I really played (other being Pokemons), and this is one of my fave game, if not my fave game. Which mean I watched the anime for it too, though I dont really follow any blog or community about TOS. But you bet I know Symphonia XD

do i like the fandom itself? At most I know some fanfics, but not really the fandom, but anytime I’ve spoken to someone who knows/likes Symphonia, its always great!

who’s my favorite character? WHY TORTURE ME Lloyd is so lovable, but so is Colette, and Kratos. I do love Yuan too. But then, just, the whole party.

if i had to choose, who would i roleplay? Well. As you know I almost rped Lloyd once, if I picked someone again, that would still be him.

am i familiar with it? YES Thats my second most loved Tales, alongside Vesperia. I only played the game though (well there’s no anime for it), and I still need to play Milla’s story.

do i like the fandom itself? I havent mingled in it so I cant tell XD

who’s my favorite character? JUDE I do love the whole party but. Jude. He’s great >w<

if i had to choose, who would i roleplay? I think I could see myself play Jude. Otherwise, an OC Spirit created like Celsius was (dont ask that just came to me)

am i familiar with it? Oh, yes! I played DA2 a few years ago, and I played DAI more recently. I’m also familiar with blogs and slowly getting more and more lore learned. Or I try XD

do i like the fandom itself? Yup! Because of rp blog I have interacted within the fandom and generally seen it, there can be some form of discourse but I love the fandom.

who’s my favorite character? Cant make it one, Zevran and Alistair, Varric and Fenris, Dorian and Cullen, Leliana and Josephine; and then lots of PC I’ve seen~

if i had to choose, who would i roleplay? Well, I rp my Lavellan, but if I had to chose a canon character, I’m not sure who I could handle. So maybe the reply is my PC!
