Why are we all collectively ignoring Eddie saying “you can never have enough closet space” and Tommy doubling down with “ain’t that the truth, right, Evan?” SJDJDJDSJDJS pls im–
the entire point of the blue food was that it was the only way sally could consistently rebel against gabe without getting her or percy punished. sally is not and never was submissive in the books. percy himself says sally has "a rebellious streak, like me." however, sally and percy were under threat of serious abuse from gabe and therefore had to pick their battles. blue food was sally's way of telling percy "i am here and fighting with you" and "there is hope in the world still."
"Back when you first came into my life,
I recalled a place that I knew as a child
A special place
One that I held close to my heart
Won’t you lead me in a dance down this winding road where light and shadow entwine to take hold of the thoughts of the one left far behind?
Know that, sometimes, I want to turn around and see the things that I’ve passed on the journey, but know with love on my side, with courage and pride, I’ll fight
I will carry on"
Eddie is close to drooling as he stares at Buck (which, he can admit to himself, isn’t new for him).
He’s sitting across the room as he watches Buck chop onions, Buck’s arms flexing with every slight movement. The man has bulked up over the past year and Eddie thanks the good lord for that fact. Because even watching him do something as mundane as dicing onions is practically sinful, and he can’t help but let his mind wander to what they would feel like, how those arms would bulge as they lifted him, using his strength to-
“Jesus, could you be gross somewhere else? You perving on Buck is ruining my perfectly good cup of coffee.” Chimney complains, gesturing to the aforementioned coffee.
(the pining eddie fic ft. chim making fun of him for it)
ep 4 establishing that annabeth views love as something she needs to earn (ie. thalia, her stepmom, athena) by being perfect and following all the rules while percy views love as something unconditional that everyone deserves (ie. percy being poseidon’s son should be enough to get his dad to notice him) despite messing up from time to time. knowing what they’ll do for each other in later books. yeah.
I can't fucking believe yall were up Rings of Power's ass when HotD decided to have Our Lady of Sorrows of Westeros cause a civil war because she forgot her own trashbag of a son was named after Aegon the Conqueror and she took a dying man's rambling about some pretty fundamental history as him designating him as heir. Like, I'm supposed to think this lady is smart. What even.
And if any Alicent stans want to come for me I want you to seriously sit down. And think about how your fave is written. How she reacts to things. How she processes information. Like, this is someone who's been in court for 20+ years and still doesn't get the basics. I hate Philippa Gregory's books with a passion but Mary Boleyn was a smarter bitch than this. This is a writers' problem.
Ok since Monika still has her admin powers in the side stories you think she could just discover them accidentally or use them without realizing
Anyways au where Monika and friends discover her admin powers but dont know about the wider context of what it means. So they just go around thinking Monika has magic and try practicing with a bunch of silly fun shenanigans because they figure it’s some chosen one bloodline stuff and not like. A product of their reality being a constricted digital science experiment.
