I would not even be slightly surprised if all of this engagement shit was coming from Taylor’s team.

We’ve been getting article after article about Travis supposedly proposing on Taylor’s birthday and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was using this as a way to pressure Travis, or give him a “hint.”

But she found out he wasn’t going to propose for her birthday, because no sane person would propose after 3 months, so her team then put out an article saying Taylor “doesn’t like the thought of being tied down with marriage.”

It was the EXACT same shit that her team said when she first broke up with Joe. And people assumed that Joe was trying to “tie Taylor down” with marriage until Taylor released “you’re losing me.”

I think she’s embarrassed and angry that Joe wouldn’t marry her so she’s trying to get engaged to the next guy as soon as possible and have this “happily ever after” that she thinks she deserves. And I also wouldn’t be surprised if she was borderline threatening Travis to make this engagement happen. Part of me thinks that the reason she released You’re Losing Me was to give travis a warning about what her fans will do to you if you “break her heart.” The fact that she released YLM around the same time that she got her publicist to bark at deuxmoi about “painful and traumatic” wedding rumours makes me even more sure of her obsession with getting that ring.

Anyway. Travis, bestie, blink twice if you need help.

I'm renowned (that's not true, who cares about me lol) for being a Buck&TK friendship truther ever since the crossover aired, so in my head Buck called TK right after the kiss to rant about Tommy and how cute his cleft is (I literally wrote a fic about this) and he's keeping him posted (TK teases him because he can't stop talking about Tommy and Buck teases him back telling him that he can't stop talking about Carlos and they're literally married).

All of this to say that in my head (and probably in my AO3 if I manage) Buck and Tommy will visit Tarlos in Austin so they can have a double date and Tommy and Carlos can team up to tease dumbass and dumbasser (because Carlos will absolutely get along with him, he told me). And then TK will get a bit emotional seeing Buck being THIS happy and settled in his skin and they'll share a brotherly hug and I'll cry my eyes out. (And then TK will tell him that he was right, Tommy's hot and Buck will pretend to be annoyed and I just love them okayyyy)

From something new inspired by the AU game we were playing earlier this week. I just wrote this so it’s very fresssh, feedback welcome as always.

Marjan lays back on her mat and TK grabs them both a bottle of water before joining Carlos on the couch with a kiss to his cheek and a coy smile.

“What’s the deal with Jane Fonda?” Carlos asks with an amused gesture to the TV, “I get wanting to shake up your workout routine, but I didn’t peg either of you for 80s housewife.”

“I reject that stereotype!” Marjan calls from the floor, throwing her towel in his direction. He ducks and it lands on the back of the couch next to him. He makes a show of picking it up gingerly with his thumb and forefinger, dropping it on the floor near his feet. Marjan lets out a snorting laugh, “Oh, get bent, Reyes, I don’t have cooties.”

“The jury’s still out on that one, Marwani.”

“That wasn’t Jane Fonda,” TK says when Carlos turns back to him, brow furrowed and voice slightly tense. “That was my mom.”

The proverbial record scratches in his head. Gwyn? That’s why the instructor’s voice was so familiar. He didn’t recognize her, blurry and 30 years younger, decked in a hot pink leotard and crimped hair.

“What?”
