yuna bobbed her head slowly and swung her feet in time to the music that filled her head in the silent room. with eiji forced to help in his club's horror maze last minute and monika working her club booth at the same time. she was given the ' important ' task of staying put to avoid getting lost. she wasn't upset they were treating her like a child— she just wanted to spend more time with them outside of the labs.

her posture immediately perked up at the sound of the door rolling open and she jumped off the desk to see who was coming back first. ( how embarrassing, what if it was a teacher instead — ? ) ❝ oh, monika—chan!! ❞ the name rolls of her tongue with ease as she practically bounced over to the other girl, meeting her halfway in excitement to ask about her club booth.

just as she was about to giggle at monika's endless compliments, a small pastry was pressed against her lips. she knew very little about desserts, but if monika made them they had to be perfect! delicately she took a bite from the small pastry to avoid her teeth grazing monika's fingertips. the pastry had to be sweet — that's what all the songs said — before it melted away on her tongue leaving her with that warm feeling monika's presence always gave her. chocolates really are like sweet kisses. ❝ will you teach me how to make some too? so i can make you something too? ❞ there was just one hiccup to her plan. who would be her taste tester? eiji didn't seem to care for sweets and she couldn't ask monika. ❝ um, but i don't — i don't really know many people. ❞ and the lab assistants didn't count, they were always rotating so she couldn't ask them for their opinion either. ❝ so it might not taste as sweet or good as yours. ❞

　今日は特に何もない日。掃除して、布団干して、クリスマスカード書いて、たまったシャツにアイロンがけをしていた。あとは、近隣のチェーンの古着屋でセールがやっているという情報を聞き、見に行って、服を買った。またセーターが増えた。別に意識していたわけではなかったけど、宮沢小春のイメージカラーであるペールブルーのもの。去年、意外とこの手の色が私に合うことに気づいた。

　今週は何らかの仕方で毎日動いており、明日、明後日とめずらしく土日どちらも人と会うことになっている。明日はマッチングアプリの人、明後日はフォロワーと。マッチングアプリの人は、会う約束したのは2週間くらい前なものの、不思議なもので毎日一往復ずつくらい連絡を取り続けられている。間違いなく良い人で、私が何を言ってもちゃんと受け止めてくれるだろうけれど、その寛大さを前にすると何だか悲しくなる。その寛大さは、おそらく社会化されたもので、溝を感じる。

　対して、日曜日にフォロワーと会うことが、他の人と会うことよりも楽しみではあるが、それ以上に緊張感と緊張関係を感じる。もちろん大きな差異があると同時に親近感を勝手に持っているが、他の人以上に本当のことをちゃんと語らなければならない義務を感じている。距離のパトスやアゴーン的な関係が築けていてよろしいでしょうと思っておいている。

　意外と手元にクリスマスソングがあることに気づく。IDOLY PRIDEの楽曲はそれなりに良い。TRINITYAiLEというユニットの「lumiere」というクリスマスソング。サビで使われているシンセのリフがCメロにもはめ込まれているが、それがとても気持ちいい。

in middle school my teacher yelled at me for not eating the pizza 😿 another jokingly suggested that i had an ed (i did not. but these two things back to back probably look like i did. oops). also she claimed i was faking being in pain since i was constantly complaining that i was in pain. as if its impossible that maybe something is severely wrong with me.

godddd that first one. reminds me of those times in middle school where they'd force us to go to those goddamn dance parties on school trips and not allow us back to our rooms until I guess they decided that we had enough fun?? it was just a lot of awkward standing around because no one fucking wanted to be there.
