he won't want to hear this from me but. andrew caring about exy and being in sync with the other foxes on the court is something soooo beautiful to me. that game he and allison spent idgaf-ing their opponents into a rage? incredible. him stepping in to protect matt from gorilla? showstopping. he and aaron being an absolute synchronized menace of a backliner/goalkeeper duo? nobody does anything like them. the way kevin and neil don't even need to be looking at him to know what moves he's making and how he wants them to respond? magnificent. him involving himself by giving the backliners advice? brings actual tears to my eyes.

Eternal Bonds: Tim and Danny’s Infinite Realms Marriage
In the Infinite Realms, marriage is an unparalleled commitment. Unlike the mortal world, where love can be fleeting and easily undone, marriage in the Realms is something far more sacred. It’s not just about vows or ceremonies—it’s about merging souls, creating a bond that not even the vast stretches of time can sever. The very idea of marriage in the Realms is rare, almost mythical, because it requires two beings to love each other so profoundly that they’re willing to bind their very existence to one another.
For the ghosts and entities that reside in this realm, eternity isn’t just a poetic idea—it’s a reality. Time is meaningless when you’re no longer alive, when your very essence is bound to the afterlife. And because of this, relationships are viewed through a different lens. There’s no such thing as divorce, no “time apart.” Once a couple is bound, their souls are intertwined forever. To dedicate your entire being—past, present, and future—to another means accepting that their joys, sorrows, triumphs, and failures will be yours too. It’s a partnership where breaking the bond is simply impossible.
It’s why marriage is such a rare occurrence in the Realms. The ghosts, who have already lived one life and often seen the frailty of mortal promises, don’t enter into this kind of bond lightly. It’s only for the strongest of loves, for the most steadfast of commitments. Because once you marry in the Infinite Realms, that bond holds through eternity itself.
And yet, despite the gravity of it all, Tim and Danny find themselves willing to make that very commitment. Tim, a mortal tied to a world where things end, where nothing lasts forever, steps into the unknown. His love for Danny is so deep, so unshakable, that he agrees to a traditional Infinite Realms marriage. He knows full well the weight of it—he’s not just vowing to love Danny in this life, but in every life after. In swearing to this bond, Tim is offering his entire being to Danny, for now and all of eternity.
For Danny, this choice means even more. As a halfa, he exists between two worlds, knowing both the mortality of the living and the permanence of the ghostly afterlife. His love for Tim is powerful enough that he’s willing to make this eternal commitment, knowing that there’s no one else in any world—mortal, ghostly, or beyond—he would rather be tied to. For Danny, the bond is as natural as breathing. It’s a connection that deepens their relationship in a way that transcends the limitations of their two worlds.
Their marriage isn’t just a declaration of love—it’s a merging of souls, a binding that makes them two parts of the same whole. It overwhelms them with the sense of safety and belonging that they’ve both craved in their lives. In each other, they find the kind of love that doesn’t just endure life’s difficulties but thrives beyond them. Their bond ties them together forever in a way that no one else could understand, but to Tim and Danny, it’s everything.
They are each other’s home. And in the Infinite Realms, there is no greater honor, no stronger connection, than to be bound by love for all of eternity.

It’s more important than breathing that he says (wheezes), “You’re here.”  Her fingers on his throat (pulse, checking his pulse - obediently it vaults back into a driving pace) drift away reluctantly. She swallows whatever she has to say, turning back to - ah. The splashing was not his assailant approaching to finish him off, but Trinket chasing after her, snarling with more fury than he’s ever seen. Correction: Vex’s expression, when she looks up, is the most fury he has ever seen.
GIDDY to have had the chance to commission from one of my artistic idols @toastyglow for art of Chapter 16 of my Age of Arcanum / Vax is the Raven Queen AU!

i love how gay mark’s “i miss William” line is simple enough to be open-ended—like he probably died but that’s not the only possibility, but what I love even more is how many people immediately jumped to the other possibilities where William is in fact alive, but he’s either straight or just does not like his mark for whatever reason. like, gay mark being a blood spattered puppy-dog for a william who doesn’t even want him even as a friend is brilliant. dead lover angst? light work no reaction. alive lover who doesn’t love you back? OUGH. it’s got a little kick.

thinking about canon compliant gay aaron hotchner who's never given much thought to his sexuality beyond what he understands is expected of him. who builds his nuclear family as what he thinks it should be. who loves haley with his whole heart because she's lovely and sweet and funny but has never felt the rush of love morgan's always talking about in the bullpen. who's never understood what the big deal is with kissing and sex, who sees it more as a necessary part of physical affection that he does because he knows that he should. who, distantly, under all the walls he's built, knows that something is missing, that something's not right, but he just refuses to think about it.
gay aaron hotchner who feels guilty that he doesn't love haley like he thinks he should. who, over the years, can tell that there's something Wrong but his life is what it is and he can't change it. he doesn't want to. because he has haley and jack and a home and people who love him. and that should be enough. for everyone else it's a dream. but that closed, dying part of his heart aches and aches, slowly killing him.
gay aaron hotchner whose world crumbles after haley's death, the loss of his greatest friend, his wife, the partner he built this life with. gay aaron hotchner who puts everything into loving jack, into raising his son to be the kind and gentle person he is, never letting him see the pain he keeps locked in his heart.
gay aaron hotchner who works cases with homophobic causes that create unsubs or unsubs who take that hate into their own hands. who feels unparalleled rage at the injustice that innocent queer people face, the scorn and judgement society casts on them. but he never thinks of himself as one of them, he never lets his thoughts go there.
gay aaron hotchner who, when jack is with jess, goes on runs and likes the colour of the dog walker's hair at the park. who's eyes follow the backs of the swimmers at the gym before he catches himself. whose dry banter with the barista at the coffee shop verges on something he’s never done before.
gay aaron hotchner who's always understood attraction and beauty but as distant things. who's never let himself look twice at a man crossing the street. until one day, spencer comes into the office with a fresh hair cut and something about it peaks aaron's interest. his eyes follow the edge of his jaw, the curls collected on top, the length of his eyelashes, the bridge of his nose. it's the little things he sees and tries to ignore until he can't anymore. especially not with the way spencer looks at him.
gay aaron hotchner who kisses spencer in the carpark, an act he put no thought behind or else he'd second guess himself. a kiss that's soft and careful and tender, so heartbreaking he's breathless. a kiss that means something, that feels like something more. something he's been too afraid to let himself feel. and in that kiss, he can't hide from himself, can't deny the warmth in his chest, or the want on his lips to do it again. to chase something he'd spent his whole life running from.

Thinking about how Buffy’s relationships are muddled with metaphors of abuse. The way season three handles Angels return. Her going to the student counselor, and crying for help because he returned. Like an abusive ex who continues to show up, but still going back to the relationship. How the entirety of her relationship with Spike is based on his constant harassment of her. Until she gives in during the worst time in her life just to feel something. How her depression is exploited both times, once when she was a teenager, and once when she was ripped out of heaven.
Both of these relationships aren’t black and white. The elements of her being more than just a girl can be taken into account, her slayer powers and everything she’s been through with the supernatural, but I think that makes it even more devastating. As a fandom the underlining issue isn’t talked about enough. She was never able to be in a healthy relationship. It was destined. I love Buffy too much to care for either of her relationships. And there’s probably something to say about her relationship with Riley too but idgaf enough about him to write about it.
