Afton Virus au question: (Yeh, same anon, again) I don't know if I didn't understand correctly, but reader hurt his hands or lost his arms? Since once when you drew them you did it with metal arms, but I doubt that this can be fixed with chemotherapy. Also, aren't children curious about what happened to his hands? They are small and curious, they would probably think that reader is some kind of bot even more advanced than moon and sun and they would be interested. Also, is Reader still having trouble sleeping and controlling anxiety? And lastly, how would reader react to an abusive parent? I know he causes harm to the fazbear high command, but also to those outside of it if they deserve it or is his hatred directed only at them? Would Sol and Luna be the ones to take care of them? After all they are infected, I think they would be capable of harming an adult (even children if we look at gregory) and it would be twice as lethal with both of them in separate bodies.

Either-or! It doesn’t matter too much to the AU beyond ‘how did they make their new hands?’, so I’m not super set on whichever. I personally imagine that their hands got crushed in some machine and they panicked, stuck with both hands pinned, and (even though they knew better) they snatched their hands away (which of course just made the resulting injuries worse). Without being too graphic about it, their hands were broken and cut to ribbons and had to be surgically put back together. Unable to cope with losing their dreams, they made themselves a sort of splint/brace that helps them keep their hands steadier and more reliable, and to keep it from looking freaky or scaring kids they either made them look like gloves or covered them with gloves.

Oh sure! Of course they are, and Reader entertains their curiosity but changes the story every time. Some days they got taken by aliens and just woke up like this, sometimes they’re on their robot-mad-scientist-villain arc and this is just the beginning, other days theyve secretly been a robot this whole time, etc etc

Also, is Reader still having trouble sleeping and controlling anxiety?

Oh definitely. A lot of their anxiety gets twisted into anger and spite, but their insomnia is now coupled with night terrors and its bad enough that they have to take medicine before theyre willing to attempt to sleep. They hate sleeping without the medicine because when they do they wake up afraid and in pain. (It helps when Moon is there tho Moon has Good Sleep aura)

Oh their hatred is pretty inclusive. If they think you’re a shitty person to such a degree that its affecting the people around you? You’re on the chopping block. And if it was a parent being cruel to their own KID?? Better make peace with ur demons bc u got a big storm coming. I feel like if Reader knew any of the parents were being abusive, it would be a joint effort between them, Sun, and Moon to wreak some havoc on the fucker- and by god, they would be good at it. ⤷ Protagonist  ⇢ Who is your main character, who is your hero? What are they the hero and protagonist of the story? 

There truely is no single protagonist, it's better said as multiple stories that eventually collide and intertwine. So it's closer to a group of protagonists.

Charlie for sure, is one of them. Her primary story pieces take place within the fnaf 1, 2, and 3 timelines typically. She never saw her killer as the alleyway was too dark to see her father's face, but by god was she determined to slowly tear down the company bit by bit.

We also have Micheal, who I really haven't worked on as much and probably should try to.

Elizabeth as well, she's on a quest to find her father as mentioned in one of the previous ask game posts.

The we have William Afton himself. Framed for murder and traumatized by the ghostly victims of his best friend, he truely has no idea what's happening. Not until the Freddy & Friends fire does it all become clear. And thus another loop of terror awaits him in a hell he never truely deserved.

Vanessa was never actually reluctant to help William! She found him trapped and hopeless in a VR game. While she was very untrusting at first, her curiosity got the better of her. In Security Breach, Henry attempts to convince Vannessa (and Gregory) that William is lying and he was the bad guy all along. Unfortunately, the flames didn't leave her enough time to choose a side ;]

But for now I don't have a lot of info on her, just mostly her lore importance.

Where do I start with this absolute emotional mess of a man. Literally on the brink of a mental breakdown 24/7 but can you really blame him?

He grew up with your typical loving family and even had an older sister named Cynthia! He's known Henry since they were kids (they lived down the street from eachother), because now the betrayal hurts so much more <3

William is typically quite energetic and even silly at times. You know, the kind of dad to crack shitty jokes and make his kids embarrassed! Despite his relatively bubbly personality he can be serious when the need arises. And unfortunately most of his joyous nature has been lost post-Fazbear-murders. Although, sometimes the old William shines through.

He's been through hell and back, and shows no signs of giving up until he knows for sure that Henry can't hurt anyone else ever again.

Fun facts about Opal!

She can lie through her teeth and has no issues with it at all. When people are suspicious of the restaurant and what happens here she talks to them. Also pretty much her entire personality (that she shows people) is a lie.

She used to love William Afton, not in a crush way but in a "this person is so cool and impressive" way. This disappeared when she found out about what William is actually like and they are (kinda?) enemies.

She learned how to kill from Afton. That man may be an asshole but god damn he knows how to effectively kill a person! She learned his methods back when she was obsessed with him by stalking him.

She only kills people who she thinks deserve it, unlike Afton. This could be for personal revenge reasons, or just because the person is an asshole. She once tried to kill Afton, but that didn't go so well.

She secretly hates kids. She's great at caring for kids and all, but she hates them. She has to constantly remind herself that these are children and they don't know any better to keep from just snapping and killing them.

She's terrified of seeming even vaguely like Afton. She hates him and doesn't want to seem anything like him, partly because she's scared of becoming him. (She isn't secretly related to Afton if that's what you're thinking-)

She questions if her kills were justified. It's not that she really regrets them (though there's a few she regrets), it's that she questions if what she did was really right. She used to have nightmares of her victims enacting their revenge, now she barely sleeps.

She has morals, and she follows them strictly. She doesn't see murder as immoral if the person deserves it, she sees it as justice.

Wow, this got a bit deeper into her character than I originally intended, but I needed more facts so here.

2018 was truly the last season of new tv i gave a shit about so i feel like i need to do a breakdown of all new shows from this era

the rookie - literally terrible and made me unstan melissa o’neil after afton left before s2 due to anti-blackness and sexual harassment she experienced on set and quite literally NOBODY on the cast said anything. also like probs 1 of the worst c*p prop i’ve ever seen. also literally wrote 1 of the most homophobic plotlines then tried to reverse the damage by making the c*p who was involved with the homophobic shit gay lol

i feel bad - apparently this was from 2018. i have absolutely almost 0 recollection of it, but it wasn’t... terrible? mostly watched for sarayu lol

god friended me - sad days bc they were canceled after 2 seasons but it was very sweet and probs the best ~god~ related show, also i am a supporter of brandon micheal hall as THE MAYOR DESERVED BETTER

Hi! Saw your post abt the afton fam Theory from Game Theory’s latest fnaf video. And at first I kinda had the same thought as u, but then I feel like if there’s no continuation of the afton fam story, Michael and maybe even Henry died for nothing. I rlly don’t mind if that theory is true anymore esp if it tells us more abt Michael, more abt what it meant when the plush fredbear said "I’ll put u back together" which could’ve been William speaking. Wish I could elaborate more but word limit..

Hii! My post about that got way more responses than I was expecting aha. A lot of people brought up about how the Afton family were crucial to the lore and I think that everyone is right! I do think William and the children should of stayed dead as that was possibly the only thread in this hellish lore that had been cleanly dealt with by Scott. That being said we did not have much Glitchtrap (a stand in for William) in SB who I thought would be taking over the villain role. This seems to be the case in the first trailer of the game and I really so think they added a lot of the Afton/blob stuff in last minute (no offense I love the game but I really do believe they changed the story last minute and that's why it's so rushed). I think it would of been better for the franchise as whole to take a new direction with this whole mind control AI thing rather than dig up old grandpa afton in the basement like dear god let him die. The reason I didn't like it was becuase for me narritavely it is unsatisfying but I still love the older games characters and I too want to know more about Micheal - and the Afton kids + missing kids in general they don't get the attention they deserve!

I hope this made more sense I think a lot of people thought I meant get rid of all the old lore completely which is not the case! Thank you for sending that in though it's my first ever ask it makes me happy aha :D

William’s Backstory

I had the weirdest god damn dream and I’m pretty sure it was just my William taking over my brain and laying out his life story.  I’m just copy pasting it directly in here, so it will be written as a dream, but, this is officially William’s backstory.

So like, it happened in the house but the layout was a bit different because my computer was in the corner of my room, and there’s usually a window and my a/c unit there, but all that was gone.  So it was truly just in the corner.  And mom was with me for some reason and wanting me to google something, or whatever, but the desktop was acting really weird so I held the power button down to restart it but it was taking a really long time??  And when it finally restarted it instantly came back on and a Fuck Ton of red nonsensical text appeared and just scrolled on and on and *on* until it stopped, went black, and then formed a face made of text.

He called himself ‘William Afton’ and the face looked like him, not like any one specific version, but like, I was looking at him dead in the cyber-eye and I knew it was him?  Anyway, he said via text that if we wanted to make out of this encounter alive, I’d have to play his game(s) and of course I didn’t believe him, it felt so vividly real that I figured something was fucking up so I said, out loud, “You’re lying, you can’t be real, this isn’t real, I remember laying down for a nap so this must be just a dream.” And he replied,

>Well, how about I give your leg a poke then.

>Does this feel real to you, Catherine?

And I felt a pressure on my leg and, of course, freaked the fuck out and just told him to go away, there’s no way this was actually happened, etc., and the entire time I was freaking out the screen was being filled with nothing but laughter like:

But then he threatened mom and said if I wouldn’t play along he’ll just have to “toy with her instead” and I flipped my damn shit cause me and mom are really close and I wouldn’t forgive myself if she got hurt because of me and I just remember sobbing and begging him not to hurt her to let her leave the room and I’ll do as you say, whole nine yards.  He agreed and she left and went and sat in the living room, I guess, but I still didn’t want to play his games because they were like, 8-bit pixel fnaf style mini games of killing kids, so I just started talking to him to stall for time.

And somehow we got into a conversation into his home life and told me about his father, whose name was also William Afton, and how his father was an abusive alcoholic and would beat him and his siblings, he had a younger sister and a younger brother, he was the oldest of the three.  I never got ages but anyway, his dad ended up killing his younger sister b/c he beat the shit out of her so bad and then when the cops showed up (i think the neighbors called?), his dad had William lie or

>He’d do the same thing to me that he did to her.

>And I was terrified, so, of course, I lied.

I started feeling really bad for him so we just kept talking, only it wasn’t because I wanted to stall, it was mainly b/c he seemed really lonely and I figured he hadn’t had a real conversation with someone in a long time.  The next thing he tells me about is the first time he ever killed someone.

>School was the only safe place we all had.

>I always like learning, I made sure to get good grades.

>I suppose because I thought that would make him proud of me, but he never cared.

>I could’ve stayed home a whole week and he wouldn’t have cared.

>Would have just given him more time to beat me.

>So, when I found out my brother was being bullied, I snapped.

>I made him tell me who, what grade, what class he shared with them.

>They were a class above me but I was taller than him, I was taller than nearly everyone in the school, so I had a clear advantage.

>They put up a fight.

>I didn’t know how to punch, but I copied what my father did, how he held his fist, and landed in a few decent hits.

>I suppose he could see he was losing so he ran but I chased after him and I tackled him.

>There was a cinder block nearby so I used it to bash his head in.

>I’ve never felt more powerful in my life.

And I told him I understood why he did it and he accused me of lying but then I went on a whole rant about how I was bullied back in school and my brother would always look out for me (not to the extent of Literal Fucking Murder™) but that I really did understand where he was coming from.  I think he said thank you, or seemed appreciative to some degree, and then I kinda shifted the subject b/c I said,

“Wait, where’s your mom in all this?”

Because he hadn’t mentioned her once.  So then he tells about how he started Afton Robotics and how his mother came into his life and then promptly out of it.

>My mother was just as much a monster and just as guilty as my father.

>She left us soon after my sister was born because she couldn’t take the abuse anymore.

>I begged her to take at least the baby and my brother with her, I would stay behind, as long as they were safe.

>I’ll remember what she said to my dying day.

>”I never wanted any of you, your father just wanted more punching bags.”

>So she left and I’ve hated her ever since.

“William, I’m so sorry.”

>It’s alright, you have no need to apologize.

>You did nothing wrong.

“I know, but I’m still sorry.  You didn’t deserve any of this.  Your siblings didn’t either.”

>...Thank you.

“I only feel a bit terrible for asking but did you ever kill your Dad?  Take over the household, all that jazz?”

>Oh, yes, of course.

>He was drunk one night, too drunk to put up a fight, so I hauled him to his feet but it didn’t quite finish him off.

>So I snapped his neck.

>I told the cops the same exact thing I told them years ago.

>”He fell down the stairs Officer, he’s always been a bit of a drunk and I guess he just lost his balance.”

>They believed me, of course.

>I was free to take over the house, the money, and I went to college and worked on a Robotics degree, started my own business and my own company, Afton Robotics.

He also never mentions his brother again so I really really don’t know what happened there, other than I guess he left home.  I don’t think he wanted to hurt his only sibling and I guess I didn’t ask or don’t remember, but the next thing I remember is him telling me about Fredbear’s Family Diner.

I kinda lost the plot after that because someone broke into the house and tried to steal the living room T.V. so I chased them off and then me and mom had to run for some reason and the backyard was hella foggy and there was construction equipment everywhere.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello, pal! I have a request for the great mod Sheep about FNAF, something easy, I guess... Can I have some HCs of Ballora & Baby with a Dancer S/O? If you want you can also add some other animatronics of your choice.

Ballora:

She feels honored to have another dancer like her as her S/O, now she doesn’t have to dance alone all the time in the dark. 

If her S/O dances ballet, expect them to have friendly dance fights with her. She can get a little competitive over the time because she was always considered the best dancer and it’s not her S/O that will prove her otherwise. Of course, she always wins due to: 

They are not a robot like her, they get tired;

They don’t have the same flexibility as Ballora. Heck, the animatronic is able to crawl like a spider on the ceiling, no way they can do better than that.

Ballora is a blind ballerina, so she can’t see their movements. However, she can feel them, that way she can help them improve their technique.

If her S/O do not dance ballet, she will teach them, as well as she will ask them to teach her how to dance what they dance. Don’t worry, she learns fast, everything gets stuck in her memory.

Sometimes their tastes in music collide because Ballora likes to dance more to classical music and music boxes and her S/O likes to dance to [another type of music] more. Unless both like classical music, then the couple will have trouble picking up a music to dance.

As a dancer and entertainer at the restaurant, sometimes they dance with Ballora on her stage or teach the kids how to dance. The children love to see them together!

Ballora doesn’t measure her strength most of the time, so when dancing together she can unintentionally send them to the other side of the room or make them spin way too much. Poor thing always apologizes for what she did and takes them to the infirmary to see if everything’s okay. It’s not the first time that they break some limb because of her. But they love Ballora anyways.

Baby:

She likes the idea of having a person that dance, besides Ballora, in the restaurant. She says her S/O’s name with gusto as she’s so proud of them because they made it this far! 

Baby was always a calm animatronic. She has not built to dance, she was built to sing and walk around. She has just a little bit of dancing in her programming, enough for her to not look like a statue when she sings, so she prefers seeing them dancing than exactly dancing with them. Don’t get her wrong, she was just literally not built for that.

However, when both are alone, they always get her to dance with her. They always make the male counterpart to not get Baby even more confused.

Is difficult for you to understand Baby in terms of taste in music. Sometimes she likes to hear 70’s singers like Ella Fitzgerald and in other times she likes to hear 80’s singers like Bobby McFerrin. They understand that she likes to year 80’s music, but the taste in 70’s is more complicated. She said to them that she likes it because she used to hear her dad listening to it. They got confused by what she meant with “her dad” tho. With further search, they discovered that Mr.Afton do listen sometimes to 70’s music, so they concluded that Baby thinks that William Afton is her dad. That makes sense since he’s the one who created the animatronics, but her S/O doesn’t know that Afton’s daughter is inside Baby. 

But to conclude she likes Jazz.

Baby sings for her S/O to dance, they just have to ask.

As a dancer, they have to stay in Ballora’s gallery, so, during the day, they can only spend some time together when they go interact with the kids.

Baby usually massage their sore muscles from dancing. It’s kinda cold because…well…she’s a robot, but it’s so firm and human-like that it feels really nice.

Funtime Freddy: (Because he’s my sweet cinnamon roll ❤)

He can’t help but feel excited for having a S/O that dances! He thinks that dancing is just so great! 

Humans that dance are so tough but at the same time delicate. They move so easily and it’s so majestic that he feels jolts of electricity all over his body with the excitement!

He treats them like a God/Goddess because they train so much their moves and dance even with the risk of breaking or twisting some part of their body, so they deserve everything he can give them!

Of course, they tell him that is not that much of a deal but THEY ARE NOT CHANGING HIS MIND.

They just accept to not hurt him.

He and Bonbon love their dancing clothes! They are so gorgeous with them!

Just like Baby, Freddy was not built to dance, so when tried he ends up falling hard on the floor.

They get in panic and check him to see if he’s okay because they know that if they break him or something else Mr. Afton will cut them in pieces…and because they love him of course, but to love him they have to be alive.

He sobs a little because he thinks he failed at them, so they have to cuddle with him and assure him that he didn’t fail at them and they are proud as he tried.

When they are dancing, Bonbon detaches from Freddy’s arm and climbs their body up to their shoulders so he can dance with them. But when they swing, he gets very, very dizzy and ends up falling to the floor. Poor Bonbon.

Ivy, just Ivy, that was her name, she liked the name, it sounded funny.

Ivy was three, when she met Mr. Emily, when she stumbled upon Fredbear's Family Diner, and became enamored with the sounds and scents and sights.

Ivy liked hanging out at Fredbear's, it was better than the old abandoned shack she had in the woods.

Evan was there too, Ivy liked Evan, they were best friends, because Ivy could bite things and Evan could tell her what to bite.

Ivy also liked Charlie and Sammy, they were like siblings, one big happy family.

Ivy was there when Evan learned he was going to be an older brother, he cried and cried for ages, he didn't want to be like Michael, he was terrified he would be like Michael.

Ivy didn't like Michael very much, he was rude and always acted like he was better than his siblings.

Ivy mostly didn't like how mean he was to her best friend, though.

She thought Michael couldn't get any worse, as she grew older she thought he could change too, how else could his courtship with an actual real girl be explained.

But at six years old, she learned not to trust her gut anymore.

At six years old she lost her best friend.

She had no where to go, Evan was her only excuse for going to Fredbear's, her only place to have a home.

So she fled before the ambulance could arrive, before Mr. Emily could find her, before anyone could.

She ran and ran until she tripped, and felt herself tumbling down.

Down. . .

And she hit the river below with a splash.

Ivy awoke with a jolt, watching the metal debris float by in the river, she felt odd, like she wasn't real.

"Ivy! Ivy! Oh thank god-" Ivy looked around wildly at the sound of Mr. Emily's voice, how had he seen her leave? Did he know something she didn't?

"Don't run off like that again, I thought you'd been hurt!" Henry said, helping Ivy to her feet.

"M-Mr. Emily- how did you-"

"Charlie saw you run off, keen eye she's got," Henry said, hoisting Ivy into his arms, causing her to wrap her little arms around his neck for balance.

"Thank you Charlie. . ." Ivy muttered.

She wished she could've saved her older sister when she disappeared a week later, or her cousin Elizabeth in 1984.

Or the kids who's faces she saw on the news the year after that.

Ivy was much quieter now, after all the death, enamored by her books and studying.

There was nothing for her to look at- until the new Freddy's location opened in 1988.

She didnt notice it at first, the shadows illuminated in her presence.

Until she heard them speak.

What did we do to him?

What did we do to deserve this?

Will she come back for us?

Will she save us?

Why is he still here?

"You could whisper a little quieter yknow," Ivy said, it was only then that she looked up to realize there there was nothing there- at least- not anything physical.

"What the-" Ivy stared wide-eyed at the wispy apparitions surrounding her, each seemingly tethered to a different animatronic.

She was certainly glad she was alone at that moment.

She can see us!

Does she know the first? The singer?

Does she know Evan?

Of course she knows him! Evan knows everyone!

"Evan? Evan Afton? Yes! Yes I know him! He was- he was my best friend- and what singer are you talking about?" Ivy said, turning toward the animatronics.

The girl! The sister! She sings to us! Brings us back! Makes us happy!

The ghosts spoke in unison now.

"S-so Evan's here? Is he-"

"Ivy, time to go home," Ivy turned toward the sound of her dad's voice, closing time was already overwith.

"We'll be back tomorrow though, right?" Ivy asked, Henry nodded, holding the door open and nodding his head toward the car where Sammy already sat.

"Take care Aria," Henry said, nodding his head toward the woman who'd just stepped out of her own car and made her way to the door.

"I'll try!" She said, chuckling.

Ivy could still see the little ghosts as they drove away from the building, she wondered what else she'd been missing.

Hello, whoever you are. You just found a cassette tape hidden in my bedroom. Isn’t that strange? A man like William Afton, someone so simple and plain, hiding a cassette tape. Why would he be hiding anything? I’m sure that, if you’re from around here, you’ve heard of the somewhat recent happenings with Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Three cases of one, one case of two. All of that adding up to the “five missing children of Freddy’s.” That was me. I’ll elaborate on that later. And, y’know, I wouldn’t call myself plain, either. I mean, people may think I’m plain when they first meet me. Just a father taking care of himself and his kids, who tragically lost his youngest in ‘83, and supposedly just got over it, right? Wrong. I’ll never get over it… and… …the fact that he died isn’t the only reason. You see, Michael did it. Not a surprise, most people know that, but it wasn’t an accident. He keeps saying it was but he’s a liar. He hates me. And he hated Joseph. You see, Michael wasn’t settled with being the failure, and how I loved Joseph just so much more. So he tormented him. Eventually, killing him. And y’know, that’s why I didn’t love him in the first place, he was always a terrible kid, not worth my time. But now I hate him more than I ever have. He’s done so much to hurt my soul in one day alone. My God, Joseph… Ever since he killed him, I’ve wanted to put my hands around his neck and just squeeze the life out of his lungs, but of course, if I ever did that, I’d get caught. I couldn’t work because I was thinking too much about Mike. I couldn’t concentrate on anything. The papers started piling up, and it kept fogging up my mind, and I needed a release. Then I had an idea. Hey… Maybe it didn’t necessarily have to be Michael. It could be any other brat as long as they’re like him. Now. Where do all of those children go? Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. And hey, if they’re like Michael, they deserve it. I went up there about four times. Picked the worst kids of the bunch, took them back, and I gave it to them. I couldn’t do much, of course, they’d start squealing. So I made it quick enough to be efficient, but long enough to make it last… It was hell for them, but it was heaven for me. And… then I leave. Without the slightest bit of guilt! So, there you go. And, now that you’ve heard this, you should know… That I check this spot every day, to see if the tape has moved. I’ve seen it so many times, I’ll be able to notice even the slightest difference. I will know. So you’d better put it back, Michael. As neatly as you can. And start running.

Hey! I’m just curious on what you think, but how would you score the FNAF games? They can be scored on designs, gameplay, whatever you want!

Okay so preface - I can’t play horror games, they set off my anxiety real bad. I can, however, watch other people play horror games, and while I try to keep myself away from the jumpscares and such, I at least try to watch them XD

When it comes to fnaf, I’m a lorekeeper. I watch game theory and piece together clues as and when I can from the gameplay I’ve watched. I read the extra material, as much as people moan about the fnaf books, and I’m genuinely interested in the story element over everything.

Now that’s been said, onwards! To the game scores!

Fnaf1: 4/5Reasoning: Fnaf1 started it all. Not only did it pave the way for a whole new style of horror game, it sparked so much intrigue in people. It had just the right amount of story to hook us, but not enough to answer all our questions. There are still things in it that don’t make sense! We don’t have an answer to what the bloody hell happened during that final phonecall, we don’t have definitive answers to what happened to Phoneguy (I mean he was stuffed, but does that mean his remnant attached to the suit he was stuffed in? Lots of people thought he was Golden Freddy, which makes a lot of sense, but 5 kids were killed at the restaurant, not four.) The sheer volume of information the first game carried sparked so much debate on forums, it’s definitely up there are one of my favourites.

Fnaf2: 5/5Reasoning: My actual favourite fnaf game. Absolute madness. The death mini games taught us so much about the series, introduced the importance of the puppet and her hand in reviving the children, the continued allusion to the killer still being active - The Reveal of Purple Guy, William Afton before his name was revealed to us. This game was so jam-packed with lore, it was great! The mini games gave us more answers, and more questions - which was always the key to this franchise as a whole.

Fnaf3: 3/5Now this is entirely based on lore rating, and this game had those mini games that lead to the happiest day and the releasing of the children’s spirits. Very important, yes, but I feel the rest of it was… Lacking. We knew that William was haunting Springtrap, but we still had no information on remnant and why he was still out for blood. The happiest day was the best part of the game, for me, and seeing those masks without the lights on in the end was a powerful moment personally. I loved the lore because I wanted answers for the children; I wanted to know if they’d get peace in the end, and they did, which was the most important thing. This game had lots of key lore because more games built on it, but by itself? It wasn’t amazing.

Fnaf4: 2.5/5Now, I don’t want to resent fnaf 4, but I almost do. It did give us a lot of information, about the crying child and timelines and such, but at the same time, lots of people tried to use it to convince themselves William deserved better. That he was spurred onto his experiments with remnant because his son was part of a tragic accident and he wanted to save him. If you know anything about my stance on William Springfuck Afton, you know I am not a fan of him being given any sympathy because he built the animatronics to kill already. William was a serial killer, and his youngest son knew. So, while this game has a lot of lore (and also tried to pass us off with the dream/coma theory, nice try Scott but absolutely not), it is not standout on it’s own AGAIN, because it requires further games to explain itself. The beauty of fnaf1 & 2 was that the story itself made sense without further games, but would benefit from further games. Without the inclusion of Sister Location and fnaf6, the lore we see in fnaf3 & 4 is not complete.

Sister Location: 4/5Now we’re introduced to Micheal Afton, and finally, the pieces start to fall into place. Mike Exotic Butters Afton, who accidentally got his brother killed, lost his sister (and mother, because she’s nowhere to be found in these games) before that and finally his father to the springlock suits in fnaf2, is beginning to uncover his father’s horrible past. It is revealed in this game that the Sister Location bunker is located underneath the fnaf4 house - the Afton family’s home - and that William had been spying on his family when working down there. It is also revealed that Baby killed William’s daughter, too, via more 8-bit mini games that are a staple of the series by this game. After the tragic end where Mikey gets tricked by the being ‘enard’ (all the funtime animatronics combined) and scooped, then used as a skin suit for them to walk around in, we are shown that they abandon ship yet Micheal lives. This is the canon ending. Micheal is alive! Despite having no internal organs. We do not discover until fnaf6 that this is the power of remnant, what William was messing around with in that underground bunker - but this game gives us just enough lore to piece together who the kid in the house is, who Micheal is (”Father, it’s me, Micheal. I’m going to come find you” and suddenly springfuck) and gives us plenty of space to expand. I mean, there were still debates on whether William was the purple guy or his son was - but one was actually just a shadowy figure (can’t use black for shadows in an 8bit game) and the other was an actual lovely rotten purple (poor ol’ casual bongos Mikey).Fnaf6: 5/5Reasoning: This game gave us so much lore, it’s genuinely amazing. Finally, we see Henry - or rather, hear him - and he tells us exactly how it is. The lore is intensive, it covers the creation of Mangle of all things, it covers the Afton family finally being put to rest - yes, all of them, including beloved Micheal who I have developed such a soft spot for, and his springfuck father, who finally goes to hell for REAL this time - and we’re given the tragic identity of the puppet, which explains so much about the whole series. This game finally tells us about Remnant, about the purpose of the funtime animatronics and William’s obsessive desire to experiment with children’s souls and binding them to animatronics. It gives us a good ending, finally, to the mess of fnaf - it kills off the big bad guy, it puts the rest to peace and finally, it gives us an insight into a little bit of the possible future of fnaf. The mysteries aren’t entirely solved. The minigames leave us with some clues as to where the series may head next, which is exactly what I’d expect from the supposed ‘final’ fnaf game, and honestly everything was tied up so neatly and in a package that was fun and also terrifying, it was just? Excellent. Good on you, Scott. So this was my personal take - I missed out on a hefty amount of details, as well as Fnaf world, mostly because Scott doesn’t want to include fnaf world with the rest of the fnaf games. He felt it was sloppy and rushed and hated how it retconned the lore heavily and all of that. On that note though, I enjoyed fnaf world because I love rpgs and god damn I want a family of chicas that do nothing but kick ass so help me god.
