#The Autumn Crocheted Sweater

For everyone that has been keeping up with the crochet sweater saga:

AAAAAAAAAHHHH I'M FINALLY DONE!!! JESUS CHRIST THANK YOU!!

I ended up not liking the ribbing for the waistband so I undid it and instead made the turtleneck out of that bit of yarn 😂. I also added a whole row of cream to the sides to make it baggier, I didn't like how it looked when I tried it on previously.

I have a big ball of brown yarn left over. And some cream too. I also own this pale caramel and I'm thinking about making a stripped knit sweater with that combo. I have some green left too and I'm going to make something with that and this brighter green I have that was from one of my mum's old sweaters she took apart. I'm in my earth tones and neutrals era. 😌

IGNORE MY PANTS!! THESE ARE MY HOUSE CLOTHES! I wouldn't wear this sweater with these pants, I just don't feel like changing just for this. 😂

it's baggy in the wrong places and overall Not Very Good! but that's to be expected seeing as i've never crocheted a sweater before, let alone one for a stuffed animal (and i had to kinda bullshit the pattern, seeing as it was made for a more proportional/bigger aminal). i'm proud of it. she looks nice and cozy for the coming winter months

Newest DIL pullover I started (because I want all the sweaters). I'm calling it my Fluffy Pumpkin Sweater, and I absolutely cannot wait to be a fluffy pumpkin 😍🧡🎃

I had to do this sweater first to get an idea of how to size this sweater, because frogging dual-stranded work (especially when the fibres felt) is the worst.

Estelle Alpaca Whisper in "Orange"

independent manufacturer alpaca lace in "Leaf Green"

independent manufacturer linen lace in "Rusty Brown"

Alpaca lace yarn held together with the linen lace, worked with a 3.5 mm hook.

Finally finished up my fall themed sweater today!!!!!! Accidentally used a really stiff yarn for the collar which took away its intention of being a flowy one shoulder sweater but it’s okay because I turned it into a both off the shoulder instead!! & I thankfully got it done just in time for fall to get here!!! 🍁🍂

For anyone that may be interested on a sweater update

We're stuck in ribbing hell, ladies and gentlefolk. Let it be known that knitting rib and crocheting rib? Totally different things. Knitting rib is SO MUCH FASTER OH MY GOD WHY IS THIS SO DAMN SLOW!! PLEASE!! I only have one single wrist done. I still have the other wrist. Then the waistband and let's not even talk about the turtleneck portion. This is too damn slow.. this is why I prefer knitting..

Also I had to add an entire new line of squares to the underarms and side of the sweater because the point is to be a little baggy and it was very fitted and tight and I didn't like that. We're getting ginormous sleeves girlies..

But anyway I should finish this eventually. And hopefully I won't hate it after all the countless hours this has taken from me 😭

You might wanna check somewhere like Torrid maybe? I tried looking at a couple on Etsy and Amazon but their largest sizes seem to be like a dress size 14 or like a bust of 34 inches, which is insane

Torrid as much as I love you, you don't have any cute sweater dresses or anything similar to virgin killer sweaters ToT why must sexy clothes be difficult to find for bigger bods :'0 looks like im gonna have to make my own
