Pain was necessary. Blood was currency.

With his ceremonial knife, Roth carves a line to freedom on his palm. Clenching his fist, blood seeps through his tensed fingers, dripping onto the sigil. That ancient circle, of strange and eldritch words cautiously inscribed in chalk.  Here, Roth intends to defy Hell and Heaven. To escape his mistakes and to choose his fate. His bags were packed, and he was ready to leave in the midst of chaos.

The Extermination serves as the perfect smoke screen. Roth’s absence ( if even noticed ) will be attributed to the Angels.

Nervously, Roth started chanting the ancient words. A dead language, spoken once by terrifying beings now dead and gone. Every word, EVERY syllable, was like pulling teeth with rusty pliers. Yet, Roth suffered for it, as he suffered for so much.

Outside, he could hear The Angels. Screaming “banshees” showing his kind the sword, without mercy. The threat of being found loomed over his mind. He was certain, however, that he was safe for the time being. This warehouse was abandoned, nobody was here.  The Angels should move on, to join the slaughter elsewhere.

Roth’s chanting grew louder and vigorous, the blood he spilled burned. It sizzled and boiled, as the letters around him became fire. All around him, the power of unnatural magic intensified. It became a beacon to attract unwanted attention. Still Roth shouted and screamed, repeating those strange words again and again. Soon, he shall be free. He shall be home once more, away from Hell. He shall leave all his failures behind.

On the brink of freedom, someone arrived. Roth sees them and his heart crumbles.

It was an Exterminator. It was Lute.

Can I request Yandere Rin with a Female Tanjiro Reader? She can smell he’s Half Demon, but rather fear or hate him she treats him the same, with kindness like everyone else (She tells him it’s because she can tell he’s not a bad person, as he doesn’t have the scent of malice, evil nor death like the demons she’s encountered)

Especially since he’s the son of the Demon King, (He though she was going to hate him but she explains that it’s a completely different Demon King that massacred her family, and just because he’s Half Demon, she’s won’t take her anger out on him, because it wasn’t him that killed her family, so why should he pay for that?)

Rin likes Nezuko since she’s so nice to him as well, but in a platonic ‘big brother’ way (He was ready to start bawling when Reader told him that Nezuko is comfortable with him because she already sees him as ‘family’)

While that’d be cute I don’t think Rin being a demon would be much of a problem for you

If you’re transported into the world of the Blue exorcist

The ‘demons’ you’re dealing with are very very different

And technically they’re nowhere near the same level of danger

Rin’s demon king isn’t the same as Muzan and thus they have a different smell

A different kind of exorcism

One that you’re sympathetic to 

Here you can learn a spirit’s deepest fears and exorcise them with kindness

A luxury you don’t have in your world

But leave it to Rin to be ecstatic to have a fellow friendly swordsman 

You both get along so well

Oh! I was listening to Carmilla's song again, and I think that she maybe died protecting her kids, but it didn't work, and they all died. Maybe that's why she feels the need to be so protective in Hell, so they're not hurt again

You're his secretary or vice principal of True Cross Academy

Or at least that’s your name on paper

You're essentially the unofficial wrangler of the demon

A human gifted with power rivaling his own

When he gets taken away for another one of his schemes you’re the one stepping in

When the school is under attack and Mephisto isn’t available or purposely abetting in the chaos 

You take your own measures to protect the students

Many see him without you but that can’t be said the other way around.

He doesn’t let you get very far without him appearing by your side

*Poof* “Working hard? Or hardly working?”

“Not working for you I’m not.”

Did I mention he makes you handle all the paperwork

He makes you read the fine print

Makes you finalize decisions 

Makes you approve and handle budgeting

It's to keep you trapped in your occupation

Tire you out so you won’t have half a mind to run away

But don’t worry he makes your breaks plenty of fun by spending them gaming with you

If you're not into gaming he pours you glass and lets you cutely lose all sense of time and decorum

Keep him chasing you 

Teasing him with small tidbits of fascination enough to keep tugging him along

Otherwise, he’ll begin to starve

Starve without your affection

And when demons get hungry nothing is off the table

Even creating a dimensional portal all the way across the world to keep you in

So don’t leave him hanging all the time 

Just sometimes

And if you actually like him~oh boy 

you just can’t calculate your moves like you used to

Yeah, okay we can all talk about Adam and all, BUT IM MORE INTERESTED IN LUTE

The first time we saw her, she was with Adam, so I imagine she's going to be seen with him a lot. Does she like her job? She seems like someone who might like being an exterminator, but might not like Adam because of his hatred of women. But she also might not care, since she would've been conditioned to think it's normal. Unless misogyny isn't normal in Heaven? Idk man! Either way, I'm very curious about her!
