When you first walk into the Blue Palace, Varnius Janius is being seen by the court of Solitude for his suspicions of dark magic happening in Wolfskull Cave. Jarl Elisif listens intently to his fears and assures him she'll do everything in her power to keep the people of Hafingaar safe. Sybille Stentor then interjects "Your eminence, my scrying has suggested nothing in the area."
Did she say this because:
A) she's a shit diviner who genuinely couldn't sense the powerful necromancy going on in there
B) she was intentionally bluffing because she was in kahoots with the necromancers for some reason
C) she could see the necromancers but chose to keep quite because if Elisif took a hard stance on necromancy, Sybille herself may be the next one to go as a vampire
D) she just genuinely didn't care about Varnius or his problems and just wanted to get that peasant out of the palace as quickly as possible
E) something else (tell me in the notes)
There is no correct answer, this character just leaves a lot of unanswered questions that drive me a little crazy and I want to know other people's thoughts.
Pls reblog if you vote, I want to know people's thoughts 🙏

Cute childish Diego
Mendoza, as Diego and Victoria both pet Galletaño: Personally, I think he's just exhausted.
Don Alejandro, looking confused: What do you mean by that, Sergeant?
Victoria: Because Señor Adams told us Lobo is…
*She lowers her voice.*
Victoria: Preñada.
Don Alejandro, incredulously: Pregnant?! Excuse me, Victoria… Lobo is a wolf. Galletaño is a dog!
Diego, chuckling childishly, as he scratches behind Galletaño's ears: Galletaño, my friend! What you lack in spirit, you make up for in audacity…
Victoria, looking up at Diego and sounding shocked: Diego!
*Diego continues to scratch behind Galletaño's, as he and the others laugh.*

Was she the girl who cried wolf?
Or did she stay awake while the others took comfort in the bed that they made?
When she howled at the moon one too many times, they snapped at her, staring with their glossy eyes
She would connect the stars in the sky, discovering a path to get out high and dry
The most alert of the pack accused of wasting time
She howled with weak legs and shallow breath,
Her loved ones were muted to the sound of her death

ended up scrawling out this little thing purely inspired by the poll I was running, rather than my original idea, because the division and debate on the morality of whose death means what ended up being way more interesting than I anticipated.
anyway go vote in the poll if you haven't yet! it ends on the 13th I think! -> link

this is so funny to me okay so the timeline goes
Several years ago in my desperately wanting to be a werewolf phase I looked at like one or two pages of the first chapter of the glass scientists but it had literally just started and hadn't gotten past chapter two and I was. A child. So I ended up like of dropping it
Fast forward several years later...
I'm looking at random tv tropes articles and there's one with a picture of a girl with a skeleton hand
I reverse image search it and one of the suggested images is a panel from chapter one of tgs
flashback.jpg
I binge the entire comic in a single day and buy volume one immediately
edward hyde and associates sink their grubby little paws into my brain
and today I just spend twenty one pounds on a copy of the two main source materials (j&h and frankenstein) and a copy of the jekyll and hyde OBCR and a copy of the original studio cast recording which had to come over the sea from TEXAS

What spirit of the Zodiac possesses you?
CAT.
You have been chosen by the spirit of the Cat to be the outcast. You must fight your way into deserving anything in your life... or at least that is how it feels sometimes. You have the ability to gain some perspective and let go, allow yourself to do so. You have great passion and incredible instincts.
ROOSTER.
You could be anything, but sometimes it’s easier to be what others need you to be. You feel deeply, and act as clay molded by the hands of others. Maybe you feel like you can be sacrificed so long as others are happy. But you find that that is a difficult venture when not everyone can be made happy. This is why the Rooster has chosen to possess you.

Concerned Diego
Don Alejandro, to Diego, as de Soto and Cruzero walk out: So much for the Alcalde's theory on criminal types. Huh, Diego?
*Diego looks worried.*

far more compelling for me than the fact that narrators can time-travel is the reason WHY narrators can time-travel. in-universe acknowledgement of "nothing in their universe exists outside of the things that are 'on mic'". if it isn't in an episode, it didn't actually happen. that's an actual rule that exists in the story. it has been canonized.
the stamatis's parents never spent a second alive. gemma and charlotte never actually had their wedding. every single character has only existed as far back as their flashbacks can throw them. and that's IF they have flashbacks! flashbacks are not common! leon dragging michael out of the bar didn't get a flashback, so it didn't happen! like not in just the implicit way that applies to all characters in all stories, that's an in-universe rule!
but what's really getting me is this:
greater boston starts with leon killing himself. it starts because he kills himself. the foundation of the story is leon's death on the roller coaster. that's why everything else happens. leon's death makes something in their strange world into a story worth telling. the story is the only medium through which their world is allowed to exist.
leon's death is what brought their world into existence.
or, fun reversal, the world was created SO leon could die in it, which would then create a story intriguing enough to justify the existence of the rest of the world.
huh.
