So, I was feeling curious (and bored) again and this time decided to watch The Shortest Distance is Round [because somebody, by which I mean @gillyweedgrl, told me not to watch it yet and that just made me want to watch it immediately, of course]. It was meh. Fucked up but not in a way that gave me any strong reactions / emotions. I'm actually kinda relieved. But there are more installments and I think I will watch all of them at some point. I can't not do it.

Update: Okay, I've watched part 2 now and liked it much more. Now I feel a bit hopeless and empty. (Goal achieved, I guess?) That was good, in a fucked-up, I-don't-need-to-experience-it-a-second-time kinda way. Some parts are so absurd that it borders on funny. And I assume that's intended. Like the love story between the two henchmen. Or the fact that for some reason, every man just really wants to fuck Haruto / Yuki. Visually, part 2 was also more interesting imo. Loved the pole dancing.

2nd Update: Alright, I'm watching part 3 right now and I'm just having fun xD There's a magical metallic dick, there's two goofy henchmen (one of them used to be an IT guy and wanted a career change), there's lots of torture. Also lots of sex but none of it is hot to me. People go absolutely wild for the person they love in this universe. I want Haruto and Ruka to become murder husbands. Ooh, the magical metal dildo is also a dagger?! Hell yeah, seeing Shibahara get murdered was glorious! The Shortest Distance really did the "I was behind everything all along" plot twist twice, huh. Staying true to the movie's name, I see. Good for you, Ruka, and your killer dick. Or well, maybe not good for you, after all? (unclear)

Anyways, it's 2:30 am now. I had a bad headache earlier but The Shortest Distance has cured me. This was a cool experience. Actually not as dark as I thought it would be (the mood / atmosphere of the films, I mean. The plot is extremely dark.)

Hi, ABL!

Could you give me some show recommendations? I'm going into surgery next week and will be bedridden for a couple of weeks after that. Basically, I'll have a lot of time on my hands. What better way than to fill that time with QLs?

"hnggg.." your head followed the noise of a sleepy, drowsy seonghwa just inches away from you on your bed. he has his arms laid out in front of him and was lying on his stomach. the way his body stretched out on the sheets was too perfect. his hands caressing the duvet roughly, grabbing onto the fabric for stability in more stretches. his fingers turning rosy from how hard he was holding on.

his white knitted sweater lifted slightly to reveal his waist, something you could stare at forever. you swore that you caught yourself drooling a little over how good he looked in that moment. your silence was loud to him, causing him to turn his head ever so slightly in your direction.

"what're staring at?" his voice was husky and faint, almost as if he wasn't fully conscious yet. his hair was messy from rolling around in bed. his eyes only half opened, deep and staring intently into you.

"you look so soft, so peaceful and pretty just laying there. it's so unfair how good you always look."

"hmm you're softer!" his words still slow and playful. you turned away for a second, the sun rays peaking through the curtains stung your eyes. this was the perfect time to attack.

"what?" you pushed your arms out of his grasp to look at him from a distance. he opened his eyes properly now, something snapped in him to make his consciousness clear. his gaze flickered between you and his lap.

the familiar cool fingers of his found themselves around your waist again. slight shivers began to spread all over your body, his touch was enough to drive you crazy.

he noticed this immediately, "shh," he chuckled softly between the coos.

you couldn't take it anymore. both your bodies being pressed up against each other, you could hear the gentle beat of his heart. you could memorize the pace in which he was breathing, slightly hitching at times from the tension. you lifted your head away from his, only to rush into locking yourself on his lips.

sloppy sounds erupted from seonghwa's mouth, slipping out moans of pleasure and need. his hands held your waist tighter, moving them up your torso.

you felt a growing sensation of want in the pit of your stomach. you couldn't possibly go for another round, could you? pulling away from him, you returned to your resting position with your faces touching.

seonghwa hid his face with the back of his hand. the same rosy blush that was shown earlier on his hands was not spread all over his face and neck. you couldn't see it properly but you knew he was always the cutest while being flustered.

"damn... why do you love to tease me?"

all you could do was chuckle lightly, proud that you had him wrapped around your finger.

The lower skirt is of ruby colored silk, and is trimmed at the bottom by a pleated flounce headed by a rûche of white muslin, having in the centre a rouleau of the silk. The upper skirt is of white muslin, the front portion forms bouillons, and the back, which is much deeper, forms a large bouffant supported by a band of ruby silk bound with white silk, and starting from the waist. The sides of skirt are slightly raised by broad biais bands of ruby-silk bound by white silk, and terminated by tassel fringe. These bands are carried to the waist, and are partially covered by floating fringed ends of the same silk, that at the right side being much the shortest. arcobaleno adult heights via estimation based on canon (listing at the end if you don't care about how I estimate them.)

okay. first off, we only have the eaisest to estimate; fon. in the below panel, we see fon next to hibari;

fon is around the same height - he's in a pose that would make him draw himself taller (beginning of a fighting stance, better shown in chapter 371.) so I think it's safe to say they're the same height, without about an inch or two as a margin of error. and, luckily, hibari has a canon height: 5'5"

yeah. I wasn't expecting fon to be that short either

next is also pretty easy, since we see fon next to mammon a few times.

in both adult and baby form, mammon is consistently shorter than fon. I'd say about 2-3 inches or so. this places mammon about 5'4" (2 inch difference, fon being 5'6") or 5'3" (3 inch difference, fon being 5'5".)

let's round down, because I've already done this with fon so. consistency.

so, thus far, the chart is looking

okay, colonello is a little of a battle. the only people we see near adult colonello is iemitsu. unfortunately, colonello is laying the entire time in every panel we see him near iemitsu. he is, also, in pretty heavy perspective. luckily, I found this one panel where it wasn't as bad, and did some. messy. estimation of his height based off iemitsu (roughly outlined how many heads could fit in iemitsu, measured out colonello's heads the same, and accounted for the small part I couldn't measure and stacked that on top of colonello's count. seen. below. if that makes sense:)

and putting their height difference into a simulator-

colonello is, roughly, 5'11". and I do mean really roughly. so, this far, it's looking:

Mammon: 5'3", Fon: 5'5", Colonello: 5'11"

next is reborn.

reborn is also quite hard, mostly because his only measurements are iemitsu at a very long distance - and tsuna while they are both crouching.

I did not want to have to measure out iemitsu again. and, luckily, we're far enough in I can finally pull some of my ace cards out;arcobaleno line ups.

perspective is a little rough - but reborn and colonello are roughly the same height. the hat can confuse things a little, but I'd say reborn is about 1-2 inches off of colonello's height. (5'9 or 6'1.)

I know I've been scewing down so far, but eyeballing it and keeping perspective in mind - reborn seems to be a little taller than colonello. I'll still round down, though. so 6'0.

so, the list looks:

and, looking back at the lineups - verde is pretty obviously the tallest. like both times. by a pretty decent margin. despite always finding a way to loom in the back of crowds. probably 6'2" minimum, and like. 6'5" max. lets meet in the middle and say 6'3" ½.

uni is the shortest, and luce is unclear due to perspective. I do not want to chart out their exact heights - but if it helps for anyone else, uni seems to be three inches or so shorter than mammon.

skull: I forgot about him. he's roughly mammon and fon's height. I'd say he's probably between them - which, here, looks like 5'4".

Ice Dragon of the First Realm headcanons/lore pt3

The vast majority of the Ice Dragons in the First Realm reside within the frost bitten tundras, boreal forest, and year-round snowcapped mountains of the Northern Lands. Few are stubborn enough to toughen out the heat of the southern lands, though they have gained a higher tolerance to the warmth within Firstbourne’s Nest.

While they may look clumsy and heavyset, thinking such is a grave mistake. Powerful climbers and swimmers, they are deceptively fast. Able to run great distances before tiring, they are the most athletic terrestrial Primordial Dragon. They can leap great distances and even cling to walls in many different positions thanks to scales on the underside of their claws that allow them to hold on. Their tails, notably, are flexible enough to act as another “hand” of sorts. Grasping and throwing chief among these options.

Whenever a Ice Dragon appears in an area, the temperature automatically drops depending on its health. Healthy individuals are able to control how much they affect an area around them, able to withdraw or expel it at will. Youngsters and sick individuals are unable to control it properly, as it can dip from sub-zero to normal room temperature in the blink of an eye. Breath wise, they have great control over their Ice. Able to either create shelters or oppressive/defensive barricades, an Ice Dragons Elemental breath’s intent always comes from the mind.

Which leads us into one of the core beliefs when a Ice Dragon dies; when one is ready to pass on/is dead, the others will create a “mountain range” of Ice so that the souls do not stray from one another upon departure to the Departed Realm and Realm of Remnants. In their eyes, this is done so that the created “Mountain range” carves out a spot to let others know that this Dragon left their mark on the world. Whether good or bad. Another belief is that it is meant to keep them safe from the elements of the afterlife realms so that they have a home to return to. One that they can change themselves when they make it, or keep it as a reminder of their mortal lives.

In the First Realm and the Never Realm, Ice Dragon’s will often celebrate a day known as “The Long Dark” which is to celebrate the shortest day and the long night. (Do note that Ice Dragons have the second strongest night vision, second best to the Water Dragons). To the peoples who have seen these reclusive beasts in the Northern Lands, they are often used as guidance throughout the dark thanks to the bioluminescence glow of their spines. Other times, they’re often seem to be a foreboding warning that the temperatures are going to drop dangerously low.

Hello ABL. First of all, let me just say, that I love your devotion to Seven Days. It was my very first bl and what got me to discover the genre. Of course it was all downhill from there lol. The same man that was convicted and found guilty of 34 felonies including multiple cases of Sexual assault. The very same man who's throwing a tantrum because one of our greatest presidents died and flags will still be at half mast during hus inauguration. Racism, sexism, and bigotry "backed" by the government. Oh! And those terrorists, sorry, that's bad optics, right? "Christian Nationalists" having government positions in direct opposition to the Founding Fathers Direct intent of "Separation of Church and State." Also cultists, whoops again, "The MAGA Party," having even higher influence because they're in central government positions! Oh! The price of living will increase too! Trump also said that his promise to decrease egg prices was a lie.

But hey. At least Trump voters are happy that they can be hateful in public. At least they can feel justified in attacking marginalized groups knowing Trump is in the office!
