The Sisters of Sorrow as an organisation is, among other things, about second chances. So many of the agents did terrible things they regret and were offered a chance to do something that mattered, to help change things for the better when society would tell them they don't get a second chance, no matter their intentions.

do we think Ruvina, goddess of winter and sorrow, took the sorrow domain after the loss of Ankarna.
Her sibling is dead, something unfathomable for a god.
Her sibling the go of summer, of warmth, or protective wrath especially towards anyone who dared harm Ruvina.
Do you think in the absence of true warmth Ruvina told the Giant races to huddle together? to keep each other warm because now the sun cannot. because isn't that what was do when we lose someone that is our everything?
we greave and pull strength from our community so that we can move forward everyday.
Lucy Frostblade was not a happy soul, but she was a kind one. Why would her god be any different.

post ttc nico thinking bianca might have lived if he was only smarter and stronger and better, and bianca being the only role model he'd had for all the life he'd remembered he absolutely overcompensates becoming a caricature of distrust and seclusion. but he isnt used to it like bianca was and his desire to help (to prove his worth? to prove that he has a right to live when his sister didn't?) manifests in clinging to any opportunity of progress, anything that could earn him graditute or at the very least repentance

Coda and Ichor! (Catacombtale Style!)
These two don't have a *ton* of interaction in the Main story, but since Ichor and Balance are the only two characters I've fully designed, Coda gets stuck next to him, haha!
BONUS art jumpscare:
These two actually exist in another project I'm working on too called Codex, which is basically just removing the UT aspects of Catacombtale and doing a lot more worldbuilding and character design!
Coda is older in Codex and is marked by an old God (which should get him jailed or killed, as it means for everyone else) but he hides it for years and years before he finally flees the complex he's living in to go confront the gods and stop their destructive path. Meanwhile Ichor is much the same, only he's much more ready and willing to help Coda without much prompting. Here he's also sort of a Koi Fish! (His brother is a Betta Fish)

MYATB Jin parents: Oh yeah, Xiaoyu, our baby girl, Xiaobao's little sister. We love her a lot, despite not being our daughter by blood. Hope she's safe. Huaien is her cousin, he'd never hurt her, right?
BFSS Jin parents: So, we've been grooming this little girl for our son....

Thinking of how miserable and vulnerable and desperate for companionship Lucien was after his sister cut ties with him when he finally made it to Rexxentrum--after sacrificing everything for the faint hope of building a better life for her.
Just...what if Kingsley remembers echoes of things, or stumbles upon Aldreda entirely by coincidence. What if he dares to hope they can be a family again, only to end up heartbroken and abandoned once more.
Kingsley, wandering lost and alone in Rexxentrum, thinking only of his sister surrounded by shining gemstones and riches and a loving family. The distant memories of a caravan and a fire before that, of skin sewn puppets and too many scars, a witch in the woods and the monsters that were their parents. All of it ashes.
Tealeaf drunk and alone and aching for company in a forgotten corner of a familiar city. Until another hand reaches for him, brushes the hair out of his teary eyes with tender care. A forehead kiss that feels like pure softness and light. His Magician holding him in his arms, helping him to his feet. A gentle fire to warm him through the night. "Come on, let's get you home, Circus Man."
