What Would An Album About You Sound Like?
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: This reading is for entertainment purposes only. Tarot readings are about possibilities based on your current energy. Energy is forever changing and nothing is set in stone. Always remember, you have your own free will to make whatever decision you feel is best.
Close your eyes, take a deep breath, envision the person you are thinking of and then choose the pile(s) you feel most drawn to.
Pile One
Tumblr media
Ahhh okay this is so cute. Im going to try to explain this as best as I can, Pile 1. So this seems like a concept album. The idea of the album (not the sound but idea ya know) reminds me of “Melodrama” by Lorde. I’ll leave a quote here for a better description but it’s like a concept album about a single night
“Melodrama is described as a loose concept album that explores the theme of solitude, in the framework of a single house party with the events and moods that entail it”
The album about you is similar in the sense that it’s a “loose concept album” but it’s about the writer seeing you. It’s like you’re at this party that the songwriter is also at and they’re obsessed from the moment they lay eyes on you. You’re like this beautiful unobtainable being to them and they want to get to know you so bad but they just can’t seem to talk to you. This could also progress to a one night stand that never progresses to more because of a lack of communication to this album is going through the writer meeting you and watching you throughout the night and then goes into their regrets and what they wish they would have said to you the next day, if that makes sense.
They see you at a party and think you’re so beautiful but can’t seem to find the words to tell you that. I keep hearing “I like the way my bedsheets look on your body” from “hello!” By role model. (I believe that’s the right song but lmk if it’s wrong so I can fix it!) and I keep being reminded of this musician on TikTok “Chappell Roan” and their song “Red Wine Supernova” I think that’s similar to what this album would sound like and it also fits the aesthetic. I highly recommend you listen to this song because it fits your album so perfectly. I tried to find a lyric that resonates the best to include but they all work so well that I couldn’t choose.
Despite this entire album being about only you and just one night leading into the next morning, it’s still so diverse (I hope that makes sense) like you’d think there’s only so many songs you could write about a 12ish hour time frame and one person but this writer has endless things to say about you and the night you met them. I could see one song having a feature and it’s later in the album somewhere between tracks 7-12 or so. The aesthetic of the album is very neon lights, the dance floor on prom night after everything has died down and people are starting to go home, slow, melodramatic and just really pretty. Again, I highly recommend you check out “Red Wine Supernova” because it fits so well.
Track list:
1. Pretty
2. Blooming
3. missing you
4. Shinning Eyes
5. Dying Slow
6. Party Streamers
7. Old Fashioned (Feat. Another Artist)
8. Starlight
9. Nova’s Surprise
10. Sunset
11. morning after
12. You
Pile Two
Tumblr media
Pile two, your album sounds like one written by Hozier, Noah Kahan or The Lumineers. It reminds me a lot of “Angela” by The Lumineers. Specifically the lyric “Angela, spent your whole life running away” and “vacancy, hotel room, lost in me, lost in you” it also reminds me of Ethel Cain in the sense that it’s a concept album about running away and starting a new life (but not as dark as ethel’s and with a much better outcome than she got. I heard “success story” it’s about leaving behind a difficult past and moving forward. There’s hope for the future in these songs, remembrance of the past and healing trauma. It’s a beautiful album with a good balance of different emotions. I could see this album coming with a short film or a series of music videos that piece together to tell a store. Similar to “III” by the Lumineers.
I keep hearing a few snippets from the deluxe version of “Stick Season” (that will be out June 9th 👀) like “Medicate meditate swear your soul to Jesus / Throw a punch fall in love give yourself a reason” or “we ain’t angry at you love, you’re the greatest thing we’ve lost” it’s such a beautiful album with so much soul and emotion.
I could see this album getting an acoustic live version that artists do sometimes like “Album, live from Wherever” you know? This album has very unique and catchy lyrics that stick with people, the type of lyrics people take and sell on things in their Etsy shop or use as a quote in their yearbook or put in their instagram bio. It almost feels like poetry. I also heard “escapism” this is the type of music that paints a picture and takes you somewhere else. This album will kind of chronologically tell a story about you moving forward and healing from trauma and finding a peaceful ending. Ending with a song like “Angelia”
Track list
1. movement
2. Adelaide’s Interlude
3. mother
4. farmhouse
5. leave me behind
6. baby blue
7. mustang
8. you’re gonna go far
9. more than this
10. peace
11. at your own pace
12. growing pains
13. at last
Pile Three
Tumblr media
I feel like this album has a soft rock sort of sound? Like hozier with a rockier edge if that makes sense? It reminds me of the way hozier sings about love. He sings about a very deep and impactful love and his writing his like poetry and I think that’s what an album about you would sound like. I think this album could be about the writer/musician fighting feelings for you because they’re focused on career or are just concerned about the outcome of the relationship. They might have a fear of falling or something.
However, the last card I pulled was the 10 of cups so the outcome is very good. I feel like this album is coming from a reflective place like this is after yourself and your spouse have settled down and had kids or pets or whatever you would like and your partner is looking back at your relationship from the very beginning up until now and writing about it.
I keep hearing “I’m in love with an emo girl” I don’t think this is what the album will sound like but maybe that’s your aesthetic/vibe? This might just be conformation for you. I also keep hearing that Shania Twain song “you’re still the one” this is the kind of album that fans would dissect like narrow down the time you met your person and talk about every lyric and how that lyric relates to you and your relationship etc. this album talks about how devoted and in love with you your person is but also talks about the (I heard “trials and tribulations”) it took for you two to get there so it may include religious reference. Like religion by Lana Del Rey or Don’t Blame Me by Taylor Swift where there’s this slight aspect of religion/devotion to your partner.
You hear a lot about how you have to actively choose your partner everyday to make a long term relationship work and this album would definitely delve into that a little. It could also be produced by you and your partner’s mutual friends or people who have been there since the beginning or very early in in your relationship. I think this would be a longer album and there’s definitely 18+ songs on there 👀
Track list
1. October
2. Cosmic
3. Full Moon
4. Bourbon Street
5. She’s All Over Me
6. Starla
7. The Empress
8. Diamond Eyes
9. Find More of Me
10. Dreamscape
11. Escapades
12. Midnight
13. You’re All I Need
14. Mirror
15. Apartment 32
16. Deep End
17. Eternity

Rainbow Divination
Rainbowmancy is not only the act of magic, but, much like in witchcraft, divination is also a part of it. (If you want it to be, anyway, you can do whatever you want forever!) Here are some different techniques for using rainbows in divination.
Reading Rainbows: When there is an actual rainbow in the sky, you could read the signs to divine. Look at the rainbow and consider the place on the horizon, depth of colour, full arc or just partial, beginning and end, etc.
Existing Decks: There are many decks available through either the creators or your local witchy/bookstore that have rainbow themes and symbolism. Some examples: Prism Oracle, Secret Language of Colour (I recommend!), Spectrowhirl Tarot, SoulSpace Oracle, Queer Tarot, Holographic RWS, Sacred Creators Oracle, Rainbow Tarot, Tarot at the End of the Rainbow.
Stone Scrying: What is says on the tin, scrying in rainbow stones, or if you have a quartz crystal, they sometimes can have rainbow inclusions which work really well.
Water Scrying: Take a glass or white bowl or cup and fill it with water. Add a few drops of coloured ink. Alcohol ink, writing ink, or acrylic inks work just fine. Look at how it flows, what patterns it makes, what symbols do you see? For meanings you could make your own dictionary, which I recommend, or use a tasseomancy (tealeaf reading) guide to get you started.
Rainbow Scyphomancy: This technique was generously shared with me by Nova. Scyphomancy means divination with a cup or goblet. With rainbow scyphomancy the white cup is first filled with water and then emptied. Drops of food colouring are added, and the cup is turned over three times, each one in a different direction, lastly the cup is swirled three times. The colours will spread over the white surface, which can then be read much in the same way as tasseomancy.
Paint Chips: These come in every shade and colour, so would be great for making your own deck. Write keywords or draw symbols on them the meanings of which match the colours.
Pendulum: A pendulum in one of the rainbow crystals for example. Or nowadays you have rainbow pendulums made from different crystals, either fused together, or beads stacked on top of each other (often called "chakra pendulum". We'll get into chakra's in the next bit). A small galaxy jar on a chain, or a small bottle filled with coloured sand, sugar, salt, or resin, will also make a great pendulum.
Crystal Casting Oracle: An osteomancy method using rainbow cystals, or crystals in each colour of the rainbow. Before I mentioned that my favourite combination is garnet, carnelian, citrine, aventurine, turquoise, sodalite, and amethyst. I use tumbled stones of these to cast on divination grids or mats. Much like charm casting. Each stone has their own meaning depending on where they land.
Encaustic Art: This is an art technique where coloured beeswax is heated on a small painting iron and then pressed to wood, or a special shiny paper. Artists can use this to create beautiful and intricate paintings, often of landscapes. This same technique, however, can also be used for divination. By intuitively adding colours and moving the painting iron, a layered painting can be made. The wax will pool, swirl, and leave open spots, making an interesting painting which you can see symbols, figures, and natural features, which can then be interpreted.

Yo can I get a tarot reading on what my life was like as corrupted!NM
Nightmare Sans for the tarot btw
Hey there! This is a standard three card reading - beginning, middle, and end - and I'll be using the Alleyway Tarot!
A fun thing about the Alleyway Tarot is that it is made up of cards from many other tarot decks, so I'll include the original source of the card with a link when I can!
Check below the read more for your reading!
Beginning - 2 of Wands - The unfinished Tarot of Vice, Ecstasy, and Horror - The 2 of Wands is a choice card - it doesn't say which choice you should make, just that there was one to be made. This spread doesn't always cover an entire life, sometimes it just covers a significant piece of it, and I'd wager that this is one of those times.
Middle - 3 of Pentacles - The Stone Nova Tarot - This card tells me that you had to cooperate with others, though it was hard.
End - Temperance - By Alla Dementyeva - This card calls for the reader to take the middleground - don't let people walk all over you, but also don't overcompensate for that and chase everyone around you away.

A Message from the Universe ~ Light Years Away
Tumblr media
A Message from the Universe ~ Light Years Away...The Light Seer’s Tarot Today's Message from the Universe reminds you that anything new comes with a learning curve. You're not going to be perfect when you start a new thing, hell, you're probably not even going to be good at first. It's ok! Telling you that your mistakes will show you what you need to learn sounds cliche but that's because it's true. I also feel that some of you are doing something new to what is known or in a way that hasn't been done yet. There's a lot more trial and error that comes with that scenario. Stay the course, do a little, observe, tweak, then keep doing that for all the little steps if necessary. Some people don't and aren't going to understand, maybe ever. You have to keep it up despite those who try to pull you into something they think is practical and safe. You're really starting to shine and some will not see it because you are light years ahead of them. When the time is right, the right people will take notice. Until then, believe in yourself and what you're doing because you're all there is at this time.
Today's Crystals:
- Rose Quartz - Zebra Stone - Amethyst - Clear Quartz
Today's Deck:
- The Light Seer’s Tarot
Today's Music:
- Billie Eilish, Billie Bossa Nova - Elle King, America's Sweetheart Read the full article

I wasn’t lying I need to just like...not think about some stuff for awhile.
your favourite playlist (made by yourself or someone else)
I’m kind of meh on playlists, but I have Sirius radio and I LOVE their 90′s channel, and the coffeehouse acoustic one.
2) how many houseplants in your room, and what kinds are they?
Oh fuck, like....7? A string of pearls, a big jade plant, a ZZ plant, my beloved burrow’s tail, a watermelon peperomia and a pilea. Oh! And a few strands of English ivy that I propagated.
3) your favourite “grounding” activity (anything that involves using the hands/doesn’t involve “spacing out” or escapism - something like gardening, knitting, dancing, cooking)
Taking care of my plant babies, cooking, baking, and definitely fiddling with my tarot cards. Even if they stress me out sometimes.
3) an account on social media whose posts make you smile
I follow a fantastic photographer from Nova Scotia, and his specialty is shooting the moon. His shots are just....incredible.
4) 5 tv shows that cheer you up
I’m. not a TV person. I love Friends, and that’s about it. I got super into Sherlock for awhile, but that’s not really a feel-good show.
5) how you get relaxed when you’re struggling to sleep
I read, I meditate with stones. I’m not a sleeper but I can tell the difference between anxiety and just my regular insomnia. Regular insomnia, Might just take my sleeping pill for it. If it’s anxiety I kind of start drawing some cards, trying to figure out the root of it.
6) your favourite board game
I am not ALLOWED to play board games anymore but I have always, always loved Clue. Failing that, Monopoly. But it always ends in a fight.
7) If you were going to write a non-fiction book on any topic, what would it be?
Definitely, definitely human behaviour.
8) a quote that you would consider getting tattooed or putting in a frame
I have a few. The concept of mūshin in martial arts is of extreme importance to me, and as soon as I find an artist to illustrate what it means to me, I’ll be getting that tattooed. The enso, too. Other than that, my dad used to always repeat to me--the best way out, is through. That has always stuck with me.
And, for the record--I would never get this tattooed or put into a frame, but my dad has also given me the sole piece of advice that has single-handedly gotten me to where I am in my career, now: An idiot doesn’t need your help proving they’re an idiot.
9) something you’ve created in the last year that you’re proud of (a playlist, a piece of art, some writing, a craft hobby, a social media account, etc)
Honestly, this. This right here. BFF!Bill, tiger, and this blog.
10) a tip or hack you’ve learned that makes cleaning or tidying easier
Hide your mess if you have to (in pretty boxes) but also--organize the mess. Drawer organizers changed my fucking life.
11) if you could make a candle that smelt like anything, what would you pick?
Sweden’s forests.
12) the last so-bad-it’s-good joke you heard
I am NOTORIOUS for the worst jokes ever and I love them so much. Like....like, what does a house wear? A DRESS. ADDRESS. HAHAHAHAHA.
13) an artist (of any kind) whose work you look forward to seeing
Hmmmm. I’m really, really looking forward to Nine Days, if that counts? If not, my friend in Sweden has a band that I would love to see play live one day. IF WE ARE EVER ALLOWED TO GO ANYWHERE EVER AGAIN.
14) the last tv episode that made you laugh out loud
I have a really weird sense of humour and I actually can’t remember. But that one clip of a really calm school teacher who said she wrote a nice song about this pandemic, then she brought out a ukulele and started strumming softly--and then just pterodactyl screamed? See, THAT shit is hilarious to me.
15) how you wake your body up when it’s feeling tired, achy or needs a stretch
I usually...stretch. My body needs to move, I’m not good at sitting still. I don’t drink near enough water so I try to do that too but there’s also very little in the world that three deep breaths from your gut can’t help fix.

Note
All right! What do your characters absolutely need to have on hand at all times?
Nova always needs his family with him to make sure they're safe. He also usually has a pocket spellbook in his pocket.
Lyss always needs her charm bracelet given to her by her biological parents.
Araceli always needs her magnet stone bracelet as it helps her control her powers.
Florina always keeps a note from Azul in her pocket from before he really understood how to speak or write in English.
Azul usually has a few spellbooks on him and an enchanted petal from Florina.
Minerva always keeps her tarot cards on her in a square holster.
Lasandra always needs a hair tie to keep her hair up during a fight. Although normally she has Minerva carry those for her.
Totsi always has her bow and wedding band on hand alongside Tathra who always keeps her wedding band and sword close by.
Astrid always needs something to twirl in her fingers to keep her busy.
Anastasia never enjoys leaving her house without wearing a formal dress while doing it.
Asmund always carries a dragon egg shard from his childhood.
Scarlett holds a feather from her pegasus close at all times as a good luck charm.
Victoria still as an adult uses an enchanted bow Asmund gave her when they were kids.
Ava always wears her mother's royal ring from when she was a princess.
Blossom always has her lance of intertwined willow tree branches made from the souls of everyone she's killed shrunk down into a seed that she keeps on her.
Octavio really doesn't hold sentiment to anything anymore so he doesn't need anything outside of his earth magic.
Arcus as a god he doesn't carry much but he does carry a necklace of scales that he can use to gift magic to magicless humans. Or even to make a mage stronger.
Spark is a cat made out of lightning that was killed so she doesn't hold anything close.
Stormgale doesn't go into battle without his golden bridle on with a healing crystal in it just in case one of his allies needs it. Specifically Scarlett's pegasus Innis.
Zaleria and River as a mother and daughter duo stuck in a realm not their own they hold each other close.

It had been a long time since an aura had made Surya’s pulse rabbit as wildly as it was now.
Decades had passed since he’d last felt it- felt them- anywhere within a parsec of his magical senses, but it was unmistakable. The presence reeked of blood and saturated his robes. It was an intent, a dark determination, that no blood hunter, Nova Cadet, nor any of his other pursues could hope to carry.
Surya felt the ghostly memory of a blade on his chest, and he shivered. The Cintaya, a black magic cult, and the only family he could remember, were hellbent on giving rise to their god, a demon named Malnata. Assuming that they had gone underground after their leader had been arrested, Surya holed himself away on Earth, far from the civilized universe and the bounty on his head that came along with it.
He should have known that they would have returned, having festered and multiplied in his absence. They had created him to be their sacrifice. They would kill him as many times as they needed.
And they had found where he had been hiding.
Asgard was the safest place to go. It was the furthest of the Nine Realms from Earth, and it had a powerful magic that would mask his energy until the Cintayan mages lost his scent. He had hoped that his first visit to the kingdom would be under better circumstances, but the memory of the presence he felt on Earth, an oozing, blackened sensation, seemed to turn the palace’s sparkling gilded towers into the steely jaws of a mouse trap. He wasn’t welcome here, and he knew it.
After channeling a portal into the outskirts of the city, he walked casually through the village streets, his clothes still smelling of forest air and his golden hood covering his face. A loose bag was slung over his shoulder, and he could feel the warm, familiar hum of his tarot deck against his back: a small comfort against the fear constricting his chest.
His eyes scanned the neat little buildings along the side of of the stone road before he spotted the inn. It was a quaint establishment, tucked between peddlers and shops, and Surya ducked inside, taking a moment to catch his breath. He slipped his hood off his head, letting his alabaster curls fall onto his shoulders, and he took a look around.
Everything was so rustic that, for a moment, Surya forgot that he would be hiding here from the law. Wooden furniture, a blazing fire, and the smell of warm bread wafting from the adjacent bakery put the man at ease as he walked up to what he assumed was the front desk.
He locked eyes with the woman standing there, admiring how her bright aura framed her face as gently as her fawn brown hair, before looking away sheepishly and turning his attention to the few coins he had in his bag.
“Are you the owner here?” he asked, though his voice came out softer than he intended. “I’d like to rent a room, though I’m not sure for how long.”

What's it mean if I can runecast (is this the right word for using rune stones in divination?)and I can receive specific stones towards my situation? As in a month from now I'll be in a really hard place as I'm leaving home. I'm 20 years old and I don't drive, work, or even go to college because my dad refuses to let me go. And every time I've used my stones for a better understanding of my situation they've been scary accurate. I don't believe in Asatru (Nova Roma) so how could this work for me?
Alright, I’ve not 100% sure I’m going to answer this question probably, so if I’m leaving something out, please go ahead and send me another ask!
This is a personal belief, so I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but here goes:
As far as I’m concerned, runes and cards are the same thing. They’re both methods of getting answers you may not normally get otherwise. Just like there doesn’t seem to be/isn’t a specific religion associated to Tarot cards, I don’t believe you need to be Norse pagan, or share those beliefs, in order to read runes. (I was reading them back when I was still Christian!)
Even as Nova Roma, I believe that you can obtain answers from Futhark runes. Typically, I offer a prayer before reading, for guidance and wisdom. (Typically to Baldr in my case, but whatever goes at that point.) It’s tapping into a power beyond yourself. The runes are really just the Google Translate for the Great Beyond.
If you want to get into Science Stuff, I have stumbled upon the possibility that people (such as ourselves) may be able to pick up on information contained within quantum particles. I may be using the wrong term, but TL;DR these are particles that, when not observed, have multiple states of existence. There’s a hypothesis out there that these particles may also “age backward”, meaning that their past is what we perceive as the future. And to get to the point, there may be a possibility that some people are more sensitive to that kind of thing, and that since we don’t have an innate ability to decode what the heck those particles are giving us, we use third party methods to understand what’s going on. In this case, runes! We use runes to decode the Time Lord particles.
Look it’s a whackjob conspiracy theory that really needs some work but hey it’s a possibility.
Basically, what I’m trying to say is that somehow, you’ve in especially good harmony with Something, and you happen to be able to use runes to translate whatever message that Something is trying to give you. You’d probably be pretty good with Tarot and oracle cards, too!

A new work by JR at the US/Mexico border (via Twitter/@JRart)

German authorities recovered 15 stolen artworks by artist Georg Baselitz. Two men, aged 51 and 26, were arrested in connection with the theft last month.
A DNA test proved that Salvador Dalí is not the biological father of María Pilar Abel Martínez. The tarot card reader claimed that Dalí had an affair with her mother, leading to a court order to have the artist’s body exhumed for a DNA test.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum removed a study assessing US involvement in the Syrian conflict from its website after it was met with condemnation and anger from Jewish leaders and thinkers. Using game theory and computational modeling, the report concludes that additional support for anti-Assad rebels could have contributed to greater casualties — a conclusion that writer and critic Leon Wieseltier slammed as “justif[ying] bystanderism.” “If I had the time I would gin up a parody version of this that will give us the computational-modeling algorithmic counterfactual analysis of John J McCloy’s decision not to bomb the Auschwitz ovens in 1944,” Wieseltier told Tablet. “I’m sure we could concoct the fucking algorithms for that, too.”
“The Snowy Day — Peter leaving footprints in the snow” (courtesy USPS)
The US Postal Service issued a set of Forever stamps commemorating Ezra Jack Keats’s The Snowy Day (1962).
A report by BBC Brazil revealed that Brazilian surfer Eduardo Martins photoshopped images of various conflicts in war-torn countries and passed them off as his own. Several news outlets, including the BBC, Al Jazeera, and the Wall Street Journal, published profiles of Martins, reproducing his fraudulent claims.
The College Art Association condemned the Trump administration’s decision to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
The Berkshire Museum withdrew its affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution following its controversial decision to deaccession works from its collection.
A sculpture recently erected in Guadalajara, Mexico, was met with protests by tens of thousands of Catholics who objected to its combination of an image of the Virgin Mary and Coatlicue, the Aztec death goddess.
Tristram Hunt, the former Labour MP and director of the Victoria & Albert Museum, stated that the V&A was “honored” to accept Leonard Blavatnik’s £5 million (~$6.5 million) donation to the museum’s Exhibition Road redevelopment, adding that he would welcome gifts from donors of “all political views and no political views”. Bo Rothstein resigned as professor of government and public policy at Oxford University last week after learning that the billionaire — whom critics accuse of being a close associate of Vladimir Putin — had donated funds both to the University and to Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Richard Neutra’s Chuey House, a celebrated example of midcentury modern architecture, was listed for sale as “a truly unique development opportunity.”
The Nova building in London was awarded the Carbuncle Cup, Building Design magazine’s award for the UK’s ugliest building.
