#The baker Street Irregulars
we don’t talk enough about the Baker Street Irregulars. Holmes really adopted a gaggle of street children, huh?

In this second episode focused on Ken Ludwig's Moriarty: A New Sherlock Holmes Adventure, and its world premiere at the Cleveland Play House, we talk this time with the original cast: Christian Pedersen, Nick Gaswirth, Jeff Bender, Olivia Gilliatt, and Talley Gale!
(Sidebar: This is the only time you are ever going to hear the Professor himself open a podcast episode. 😁 That was so much fun.)
There are two places in which we talk spoilers — one is our now-normal spoiler section (suggestions for naming it are welcome!) — and the other happened first during the course of the conversation. The first moment is brief and happens between 0:38:04 and 0:38:16 — believe us when we say you're better off not spoiling this for yourself if you don't want spoilers!
Our actual spoiler section had to be shortened due to time constraints, so 1:01:38 to 1:07:15 is where you need to beware of talk about the very end of the play.
Quick note: We’ve been told by a friend that the spoilers didn’t feel very spoilery since they didn’t know the play. Fair enough, but we like to err on the side of caution with these things!

My sincerest, deepest hope, that I hold with my entire body, heart, mind, and soul is that if they do make a third Great Ace Attorney game, we get the Baker Street Irregulars. I was really hoping that we’d see them in the first two games, Herlock already having more than one weird girl at his disposal but we didn’t quiiiite get there. So third game, that’s my wish list. Also Shu Takumi must be heading the project, but that practically goes without saying.
Long live the Baker Street Irregulars!

Is there an offline later in the series implying that there's always an infinitesimally small chance of morphing just randomly not repairing damage to your base form, or is that a fan theory to explain what happened to Tobias in Megamorphs 2?
I don't think there's ever any canon line that addresses it. Mertil and Gafinilian are both exceptions to "morphing heals all," Mert because he's allergic to morphing and Gaf because his condition apparently isn't affected by it. There are also plenty of other exceptions, like the andalite in #8 missing a stalk eye and Collette remaining paralyzed in #50, but I don't think it's ever directly addressed in canon.
But yeah, it's definitely fanon that morph-healing is only mostly effective most of the time, for unknown reasons. Largely because of the many exceptions from canon.

Was thinking about the Baker Street Irregulars and how they are rarely making an appearance in the later stories.
Remember how excited Holmes was about public board-houses in The Naval Treaty? Calling them the "Beacon of Hope" for the country's future?
What if Holmes decided to send the children to school? What if he had already seen its positive results among some of the them by The Naval Treaty? And what if Watson has no idea about this scheme because Mycroft was implementing it after Sherlock disappeared in the Reichenbach?

I really hope all the baker Street irregulars grew up to become an unofficial detective force who figure out crimes as a collective. they're just like their dad
