#The legend of Zelda movie

as you know there's a live action Zelda movie coming along, if on the off chance the Happy Mask Salesman shows up even as a background/side character who do you think should play him?

Thinking about his facial proportions and appearance,

the spectrum of actors I'd pick based on his features ranges from Gong Yoo to like... idfk Tobey Maguire or something.

They've got similar squareish-tapered facial proportions with the jaw/chin ratio and the spacing of the eyes. Managing to look mature while also looking cute. (Tom Holland fits in this category, but I'd cry if they did that)

It's hard because I love his color palette so much, and I'd really want a ginger actor because... well... he's ginger. I draw him with light freckles across his nose to emphasize that personal headcanon. The only problem is I can't find any red-headed actors I'd be happy with.

I would also accept Dwayne Johnson

(In all seriousness, though, I'd appreciate the vast reaches of the people of the internet to give some suggestions. I think it'd be cool to hear what others think about this.)

I forgot about the zelda movie remember that? They're making it live action I think. Mmmmmmm that'll be. Something.

Ever since the Zelda movie was announced, I knew I had do something to celebrate the occasion. Ultimately I had the idea to scour people's fancasts and compile them into images.

It turned into a monumental effort of sorting through about 1500 choices and narrowing them down for the sake of simplicity. It was a mountain of work, but mostly I wanted to do it for the fun of looking back on them when the actual cast is announced and see if anyone ends up right.

I've sorted the characters into groups. It will probably be a long time before the actual cast is announced, but I don't want to take any chances so I'll post one group a day, starting with the main characters.

For the record, these are other people's choices and not my own. I will however be picking one actor from each by the end of this and making a bingo card with them.

Feel free to leave your thoughts on if you agree with these people's choices, disagree, or have someone that isn't here you'd prefer instead.

Tomorrow, I'll be posting Impa. She'll get a spot to herself since she had the most choices out of anyone and I couldn't feasibly narrow them down to one image.

A live-action film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda video game series is in the works.

The film will be produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, Representative Director and Fellow of Nintendo and Avi Arad, Chairman of Arad Productions Inc.

The film will be produced by Nintendo and Arad Productions Inc., directed by Wes Ball (The Maze Runner, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) and written by Derek Connolly (Jurassic World). The film will be co-financed by Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., with more than 50% financed by Nintendo. The theatrical distribution of the film will be done worldwide by Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc.

About the Zelda movie.

If any named character is played by someone who has been in any of the Marvel movies, the film is dead to me.

They better all be played by people I've never heard of in my life, who were born specifically to play these roles.

...they should have done animation. With someone other than illumination.

The Zelda Movie Fancast Project Day 6: Twilight Princess

For day 6 of the Zelda movie fancast project, we have Twilight Princess. I feel that the story of Twilight Princess has a fair shot of being adapted for the big screen, since the story is well suited for it. Though this would be down the line, since I imagine they'll kind of want to keep things simple for the first Zelda movie.

There's no doubt this game has a memorable cast that would be fun to see on the big screen.

With this, one last fancast remains: Skyward Sword. After that post, I'll unveil the final part of this project that will make use of all these fancasts.

No one asked but if Hollywood ever decides to follow the Mario movie with a Legend of Zelda one, I will ONLY accept it if Link is mute. They don’t even have to use ASL for his signings, they can make up Hyrule sign language for all I care. Just don’t cast some random celebrity as Link to make it even more weird. I beg you Hollywood.
