"I honestly see Max as a younger brother. We can talk about anything and anyone at any time. We're at the point where we just felt completely relaxed and at ease with each other. I'm plagued by need for fluff today, so I keep imagining Izzy petting Stede's hair. I feel like it's always Stede being sweet on our little grumpy man, but I throw uno reverse card on it.

Early morning, in bed, when they're both barely awake. Stede squirming into Izzy's lap while he sits on the settee, reading. Izzy grumbles under his breath (You're a grown man, Bonnet, what is wrong with you-), but soon enough his fingers slip into Stede's blonde, soft curls, smoothing and scratching against his scalp until Stede's practically purring with it. Maybe Stede asks for pets with his voice all hoarse and nose clogged up, cheeks pink from fever.

just realized that the link and zelda weirdness levels are pretty much the same in botw and totk. Like link is canonically a little gremlin of a man running around with very little clothes, making weird weapons, and eating rocks, but zelda also tries to get link to eat a frog, and is basically a hyrulian iPad kid, obsessed with ancient hyrulian artifacts and history. weirdo 4 weirdo friendship/ship for sure
