Aziraphale is Crowley’s apple and vice versa, Crowley’s whole speech on the wall in the garden of eden was all about how strange it was that god would put the ONE thing you weren’t allowed to have DIRECTLY in front of you. And Crowley’s apple is obviously Aziraphale cuz I mean cmon. Crowley eats the apple (kisses Aziraphale) and Aziraphale does too (rejects him) and they both end up having to leave their ‘personal eden’ (the bookshop). Aziraphale goes back to Heaven, where he will be miserable whether or not he’s making a difference, and Crowley will be left alone on Earth where he’s miserable and lonely. Left alone on the planet he tried so desperately to save without the one man-shaped being he tried to save it for. UGH.

its so weird to read some of my old fics (do NOT do it but i'm just being hypothetical rn) and reading it. like who even was this person?? i completely was in a haze back in 2020. i literally was posting 3 chapters a day. A DAY. what in the WORLD was that shit.

anyway i remembered some STUPID sappy shit and i didnt remember if i'd put it into a fic or not BUT I FOUND IT.

She and Hope had been dating in secret for months anyway, and any attempt to go talk to Ryan only filed her disposition of displeasure upon knowing that she couldn’t tell anyone, Molly especially, it destroyed herself mentally. They couldn’t really go anywhere near the school, always having to lie to everyone about having projects together when Molly wasn’t around them. It’d consisted with 9 PM - 2 AM intervals of being able to actually see each other. Hope would sneak through her small bedroom window with a portable record player and whatever she had gotten from the vintage record store downtown, and Amy would always fall asleep around eleven because of her internal clock. She would always wake up to find a single sticky note stuck on the edge of her desk whenever she woke up to her alarm the next morning. One of them, Amy still had tucked inside of her phone case, a heavily detailed human heart, with blue and red ink sketched onto a neon pink sticky note, there was a caption that headed the small paper reading the phrase over every now and again makes her almost melt every time. “You have my heart.”

He would be a great best friend! I can totally see a roommate situation where whenever Alhaitham and him are arguing, he’d run to you and whine about how mean your boyfriend is.

Cue to Alhaitham pouting as you tell him to play nice with Kaveh (who may or may not be sticking his tongue out at him behind your back)

Even though Alhaitham trusts you more than anyone, he still gives the two of you side eye when y’all are doing facials/baking/hanging out together.

Whenever you and your boyfriend are trying to snuggle on the couch, Kaveh always sits in between y’all. “They’re MY best friend! The two of you could break up and I’d still be hanging out with them!” Cue another argument that you have to break up again lol

Kaveh isn’t boyfriend coded for me, but I still enjoy his character! :)

He is definitely pretty and super nice and I love him a lot. But it's more in a "bestie" type of way for me than in a "boyfriend" or "husband" type of way.

If I had to imagine being Alhaitham's girlfriend and then imagine Kaveh running to me whenever they're bickering and Alhaitham just rolling his eyes because "Kaveh is doing the thing again". It's just so hilarious to me haha!

Also yes, Kaveh would be the type of guy who'd crash date night and plop down between you two. Probably to complain about something or drop some hot new gossip. And Alhaitham is just sitting there with a facial expression that says "Mate... you're kind of in the way. Please leave." 😂

So yeah, Kaveh is definitely bestie coded for me as well. We're in the same boat.

Meanwhile Alhaitham... I'd cling to this man like a starving koala does to the last eucalyptus tree. He is definitely very bf-coded and I was down bad the minute I saw him and even more down bad the minute he first talked. The dry sass... I can't even (and I say that also because his personality is so much like my actual bf and reminds me why I fell for him in the first place years ago 😭) 💕
