Chief among my developing headcanons is that Tennant views Vertin as a possible protégé and tries to teach her how to be cool and seductive
TENNANT: My lady, follow my lead and you'll have any number of sophisticated socialites wrapped around your finger. Step one:
VERTIN: Ah, I know. Find a cool rock or frog and show them it.

I already read it bc I was NOT waiting a whole ass hour just to live post 3 times about it--
Anyway OH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOD??? I FUCKING MISSED THEM BEING BESTIES I CAN'T it was genuinely so great! Fun and relatively lighthearted, I am mildly curious as to why Tap & Mercowe were softly probing porcelain man to see if he'd spill the Devil-related secrets or not👀👀 y'know, with Holly always (unknowingly) asking him ALL the right things to get him to spill like. It feels a lil too intentional of a conversation turn for Tap & Mercowe to NOT have actually meant to probe him for that — I mean, the way it was written feels... Emphasizing, at the very least.
Also the kneeling??? Theater kid much????? /lh

something something the parentification of nicholas d. wolfwood. something something growing up too fast literally and metaphorically. something something never getting to be a kid even when he still had a body matching his age. something something wolfwood forcibly growing into the role of caretaker emotionally and physiologically. something something the dichotomy that is also a reflection. it’s 5am u get the picture. i am going to lose my mind tho, if anyone needs anything

It's still just a sketch (admittedly a very detailed one), and it's also technically spoilers, but here's some art related to the TFP/Skulduggery Pleasant AU Fic I've been working on. I really like it when fictional characters come with themes that can be easily turned into visual symbolism of their tragic flaws.
[Image ID: A digital sketch of a person with long hair running with a scythe in their hands, wearing a tailcoat. Their other arm halfway covers their face, mimicking "The Fallen Angel" by Alexandre Cabanel. They're also wearing boots. The background is the front half of a huge great pyrenees dog leaping with the person, teeth bared and covered in blood. The dog has an anti-wolf collar on their neck that is covered in blood from presumably wolves. / End ID]

One thing I love about the new episode is how it showed how similar yet very different Luffy and Buggy are.
While both are very charismatic men who have amassed a huge following who are at times treated like complete jokes by their crews:
However the HUGE and glaring difference between the two men is that Luffy is a man who amassed a crew that loves him unconditionally because of the honest man he is while Buggy is a liar who deceived the world to get to where he is and as such has a crew that whose loyalty to him is purely CONDITIONAL:
