Wait why don’t we like matpat. What did he do??
Well the worst thing he did was be annoying /j
But fr honestly there IS a lot of bad things he's done. Like support autism speaks, plagiarize, posted quite a lot of transphobic stuff, etc etc. But even without that I just find him extremely insufferable and annoying. I've never liked his content even before I knew there were bad things he's done/promoted
Like he has actively ruined a lot of discussions in fandoms. To this day people still try to push the Glados is Chell's mom theory despite there being no evidence AND the devs directly stating portal 1&2 is a love story. It really upsets me as someone who feels a very deep love for the portrayal of their messy and painful relationship.. for that to be erased by some straight white man who thinks he knows better bc he reached so hard his arm fell off. And this is just one example. Countless series I feel have had horrible after effects from his coverage of them and I don't like it

I'm probably the only one who thinks this...
The 200 resin is nice and all, but by the time I get home from work, it's still not at 200.
They really should've put the time down to 5 minutes. HSR is always at 240 (or very close to it) when I get home, but with Genshin, it's like we never left the 160.
Hoyo was probably thinking of increasing the resin in the first place, but I think they impulsively added it in this patch because of WuWa and didn't test to see if it would cap by the time casuals (or hardcore casuals like myself) get home from work with the 8 minutes.
I hope they change it to 5 minutes soon because it really does feel like we never left the 160.

what part of that video made you think he's only doing marvel for money? 🙈
The part where he says he doesn't want to keep doing the same thing he's already done, which is literally what his marvel commitments consist of at this point. It's sad that that's what it's come down too, but there isn't much in marvel anymore for him at this point, in terms of the kind of challenge and opportunity to explore different avenues he's said he wants in his career. So the fact that he's still doing marvel is either because of his contract (but many people seem to think that isn't in effect anymore) or because it's good and easy money. I can't blame him for that at all, but I do wish it could be different

Rank all Fazbear Frights story's from least to greatest. Explaining why they ranked the way they did is optional. But you get bonus points if you do.
35. In the Flesh: I think you understand why. Matt was not a likeable character.
34. Sea Bonnies: Another body take over story, I rate it so low because the concept of sea monkey like creatures taking over someone's identity is too bizarre for my taste.
33. Sergio's Lucky Day: Another kind of unlikeable character
32. The Prankster: the ending was a cliff hanger and it's not clear who the villain was which is why it's low on my list.
31. Friendly Face: I only remember how many memes people made of the book cover.
30. Gumdrop Angel: similar to Lonely Freddy, it could be argued this is a lot worse of a fate for the victim which I agree with. Also I hate the step father, whatever his name was.
29. Jump for Tickets: I don"t really remember this story much honestly.
28. Kids at Play: I didn’t understand this story very much to be honest.
27. Pizza Kit: I really hated Marley, who tf pretends to be dead like that just as a prank? It's not funny.
26. Together Forever: the ending is a bit grizzly. But in these stories, it seems to be, if you mess around with something, you'll find out why you shouldn’t have mess with it in the first place.
25. Find Player Two: The concept could be interesting, but the story felt a bit flat.
24. He Told Me Everything: Faz goo is not scary.
23. Dance with Me: I like Ballora as a character considering her mechanic in Sister Location, however, in this story she never felt like a real threat, but rather a reminder to the main character of what she did.
22. 1:35 AM: This wasn’t strongly written, Ella was an okay antagonist, Delilah didn’t really grab my attention as a protagonist.
21. Bunny Call: How is Ralpho connected to Fazbear Entertainment? That's my real question. I like the idea of him being alike to King from the Owl House or Bill Ciper. Bob himself was an okay character, especially when he decided he had to protect his family from Ralpho at all costs.
20. Room for One More: Stanley's reason for not going to the hospital felt a bit like an excuse to justify why he never went to the hospital. It would have made the story more interesting if he did.
19. Coming Home: It was a nice story, and it had a nice concept of a child trying to say goodbye to their sibling, but it wasn’t scary.
18. The Cliffs: The idea of a missing kid is just terrifying to anyone, one thing about the story I didn’t like was how quickly the bad thoughts left Robert's mind, it doesn’t happen that way, those feelings don’t just disappear immediately.
17. The Scoop: Reading this story was interesting, I could see a character like Mandy in the FNAF universe.
16. Blackbird: Blackbird is a good concept by itself, but it doesn’t really feel like a FNAF story.
15. The Breaking Wheel: The suspension was built quite well, however Reed did make some questionable decisions about ignoring the loud sounds from outside.
14. Hide and Seek: Shadow Bonnie as a villain was interesting to me, and how they were portrayed as a shadow that always follows the main character.
13. To Be Beautiful: This story shows a twisted idea of being beautiful at a cost. One of my biggest questions was why didn’t Sarah feel any pain? Did the illusion disc also block pain?
12. The Real Jake: It did explain the story of the StitchWraith, however it wasn’t really scary.
11. What we Found: I like how it was explained how the FNAF 3 hallucinations do happen, I don’t like the ending, it felt extremely undeserved to Hudson. He clearly needed some form of mental help.
10. Felix the Shark: a story about Submechanophobia? Yes. Felix is a interesting idea for a story, considering how we never had any animatronics that could work underwater in the FNAF series.
9. Step Closer: Foxy being a villain that curses a kid, while good, can be improved upon, he could have actually been stalking Pete which would have made him seem like more of a threat to Pete and his brother.
8. The Man in Room 1280: I did like the character of Arthur Blythe, he seems to what to believe the best in everybody.
7. You are the Band: I'm upset this story isn’t consider as part of the main series, it was very good and it included Michael, seeing as we know so little about him, having a story with him as a character is great.
6. The New Kid: Devon was a change from the other teenaged protagonists, someone who is jealous of someone else getting attention. Kelsey was a good character and clearly wanted to be friends with Devon and Mick.
5. Count the Ways: Funtime Freddy was a fun villain, showing a version of him that knows a lot about history and has a straight forward purpose, Millie meanwhile, I can understand why she developed a crush on Dylan, however her being rude about Brooke after finding out she was dating Dylan felt a bit jarring.
4. Fetch: A unique concept, I heard that Fetch could be based on the old Sparky hoax, while I'm not sure about it, having a dog animatronic that can “fetch” whatever you desire makes for both a interesting and dark story.
3. Into the Pit: A great story for the first one! The concept of seeing a child actually escape from a murderous rabbit is welcomed especially after we hear that many kids in the history haven’t been so lucky, so I like SpringBonnie acting like the dad and vacuuming the carpet.
2. Lonely Freddy: it's obvious it's a favorite of mine. Alec and Hazel's sibling dynamic feels realistic, especially with the concept of Alec realizing that he had hated his sister for no reason and it was his parents fault, the reason why isn’t number one is because of the big bad himself, Lonely Freddy, the concept of being body swapped is scary, and the ending is truly heart breaking when you realize that Alec likely never made it back home, but then again, REJECT CANON, EMBRACE FANON.
1. Out of Stock: The best story, full stop. Oscar is a realistic take on a boy who lost his father and feels like the world has been unfair to him, Plushtrap is also the best antagonist and well written, he is a real threat, he is smart and he knows how to mimic voices, making him much more dangerous.

What's your opinion on the ship of theses problem?
okay im not sure if this is completely unrealated to the latest amelia episode or not BUT im still gonna reference it and use it to explain because im bad at words
(for context: kozlovski, mia, and [name idk] were talking about how the body replaces frequently (also tatoos disappearing but thats unrelated)
JACKIE
But then... I mean... Am I even still the same person as... as say thirteen year old Jackie who tried to fake her own death?
KOZLOWSKI
An interesting question. What do you think?
JACKIE
Well... no. Because every part of me is new.
MIA
Yeah, but it's still Jackie!
KOZLOWSKI
Is it?
--------
KOZLOWSKI (CON’T)
Now let us say a man robs a bank.
MIA
Okay...
KOZLOWSKI (CON’T)
Then he waits until all of his cells have renewed. He is now an entirely different man! Do you absolve him from responsibility?
MIA
Of course not!
KOZLOWSKI
But this man does not share a single atom with the man who robbed the bank.
MIA
Who cares about his body, it's his intent that counts! Right?
KOZLOWSKI
Jackie, if you think of yourself as the lump of matter you inhabit, then you are, literally, never you. Because the matter is constantly changing.
JACKIE
So who am I?
KOZLOWSKI
Another excellent question. And one to which there are many answers. I would say... you are your memories.
this sums up my opinion on the matter really well
basically, you are ur memories
if you remember when you were 15 then you are the same person
if you lose your memory you arent you till u get it back if ever
if the ship is fully replaced but slowly, but it was never burned or broken and nothing massively changing happened, its still the same ship

Hello:-D I have a question for you, Who do you think could be a better leader Jack or Ralph?
this is a speculation for pre-island on who would be a better leader. both jack and ralph have leadership abilities, but i believe jack is the better leader bc you have to remember he is the head boy of the choir. even when they went rogue, jack still maintains leadership. before they went rogue his man made the rest of the choir walk in formation on the hot sand back at the island. now im not disregarding ralph’s leadership abilities since it was probably his first time being in charge of something, it was a life or death situation it was very pressuring on him. but piggy was the one who was egging on the idea for ralph to be the leader and when ralph was the leader piggy was giving him ideas.

There's a lot of posts out there reminding people that they don't have to respond to every stupid post they see but I feel like it's worth saying that you also don't have to finish reading the post once you've realized it's stupid. Easily one of my favorite things about the internet is the ability to get like two sentences into a post and go "actually I think you're wrong" and then just stop reading.

Ok so based on the most recent info...we can all agree that all Joost did was stick up a middle finger at a someone who was filming him without his permission, right? We can all agree that it was extremely manipulative to imply what he did was way worse by describing it as "threatening a female member of staff" and just letting it just hang in the air, effectively making it sound as if he had (sexually) assaulted a woman, right?

task: answer the following question. do you believe in curses? respond as completely with relevant information as possible.
Grian: Well, that's a lie. This isn't a task. I know it's not a task, I set the things up! Not sure why we're getting a question as pointless as this one, but sure, mysterious scroll, I'll answer. There's no such thing as curses, unless you're Timmy, in which case it's funny, yeah? Besides, I didn't actually kill Etho. Even if that did count, self-fulfilling prophecies aren't the same thing as curses, and I know which one I fall under.
Joel: Do I believe in bloody curses what kind of question is that? Do I really get hearts just for answering this? This feels like a prank or something... well, whatever. There are no such thing as curses, except the Boogeyman curse, which I sort of had today, but it wasn't actually the same at all. A lot of the bloodlust, sure, but a lot more... Etho had to be the one to do it, huh? And it's not the same. Not comforting. That's a stupid thing to say actually. Take it out of wherever you're putting this. Cut it out of the recording. Comforting. Please. As if it were ever... Yeah, I'm done actually. Don't have a good answer. Go away.
Scott: What, other than Jimmy? Bless that man, he may not have died first, but he sure tried his best. Sure, I'll believe Jimmy is cursed. I mean, mostly he's just kind of stupid. Lovingly so. I mean, despite him being stupid, I put up with him, right? That seems like a complete answer to this question. Jimmy's an omen but we put up with him anyway. That's all.
Mumbo: NO RESPONSE GIVEN.
Pearl: Oh, I mean, I'm probably cursed. That's what everyone liked to say at one point. I think... I mean, I think this time I have good friends, which is nice. They don't think I'm cursed. And it's not like I--I mean, it's surprisingly fun, acting cursed! And I am just acting. Acting scary, blowing up dance floors, all of that. And I don't really have to this time, so... Maybe I'm not cursed? And since it's acting, it's not real? This is a weird question.
Etho: Oh, man, that's a question. Um, do I have to answer? Because I feel like if I say no, that's really just asking for it, but if I say yes, I have to explain myself. Uh, I think I'm abstaining, unless the zombie thing from earlier counts. That was scary and I hated it. Curses are scary and I hate them in general, but apparently I'm good at them, if you ask everyone else. Um, it's not the only thing I find scary that apparently I'm good at.
Scar: Why, of course I believe in curses! Look at poor, poor... Timbert? Timmy? Jim? Gosh, sorry, I'm very tired right now. That's more proof of curses, by the way! That I'm tired. I've been tired straight since the desert, let me tell you what. And that, my friends, is a curse like no other. What a terrible beast, loneliness is. Wish me luck breaking it, because it's not happening this season!
Cleo: Oh, you mean the thing people like to blame instead of their own actions? Nah. My soulbond was kind of a curse, I guess, but even that's at least half just... bad people. Bad relationships. Good ones, too. We're all just doing what you can, you know? No script, no curses, no characters, just... Oh, I hope everything turns out tomorrow. Sorry, that's unrelated. It's just nicer to hope than to preemptively blame things on curses that don't exist.
Impulse: Well, I mean, I didn't until you just asked me that, but now I feel like I should. Wouldn't that be nice? Being cursed instead of just sort of unlovable? Sorry, no, that's mean to Gem. I shouldn't say that about Gem, she's been good this season. Super, super cursed, mind you, in the like, game mechanic sense? But she's been good, no backstabbing or inability to get love involved. Um, and I guess that's not fair to Bdubs, kind of, except it also totally is and I haven't forgiven him. So I guess if they ask I said I believed in curses, and that's why my life keeps circling clocks? Don't put any of that other stuff down, I'm trying to work on that.
Lizzie: NO RESPONSE GIVEN.
Gem: I was just cursed for a task, but that probably isn't what you're asking about, right? I'm new, so I don't know! A task is a concrete thing to believe in, like bloodshed or victory or fun and games. You don't have to believe in those to know they're real, either! They just are, whether you like it or not. I understand that much!
Tango: Gah, don't talk to me about... Deep breaths. Look, I don't care if it's a curse, or if it's just me being really bad, or what, I'm not going out pointlessly this time. Jimmy managed not to die first, I can manage to not go out to a stray arrow or my own bomb or a misstep this time, right? Is that so much to ask?
Skizz: Huh? Curses? I mean, I don't think so, and to be totally honest I think it's kind of mean the way people sometimes rag on people about them. Everyone's got so many good things about them! Why do people like to focus on the unfortunate luck, huh?
Bdubs: Hah! Curses! Let me tell you about curses. When I see curses, I eat them for breakfast. I don't got curses, I've got better things to do! I've got my buddies with the Mounders, and I've got-well, I'd say keeping Etho safe, but he's being weird at me again this season. Not that it matters. It never matters. Etho and I, we're... The point is, that doesn't matter anyway, because I have the Mounders, and they're the ones who matter here. And because I'm a strong, independent Bdubs, who doesn't need anyone but my bow and my perfect, flawless fighting prowess! Sorry, what was the question? I've been thinking so much lately that it's just sort of made everything else pop out of my head, so it's hard to keep track. I'm sure I answered it flawlessly, though.
Martyn: Of course there are curses. That's half the fun for you lot, isn't it? Putting your little curses on us and watching us rail against them. Bet you think it's real cute to ask us what we think of the things, too. "Oh, what do you think of curses," like we have any control over them. Please. If I had any control over curses, Jimmy--or, well, no, I guess that one was technically broken, wasn't it? Sure doesn't feel like it. Point is, curses are bad, and they're definitely real, and I hate you for them, got it?
BigB: Look, man, if you're trying to get me to write my character out for you, just say so! I won't tell anyone. We can come up with a hole thing about holes and red tasks and the Backrooms together! It'll be fun! After all, you probably don't know what kind of curse to say I have, right? Haha, just kidding. I have no idea what I'm talking about. Luckily, neither does anyone else, so I think that evens out between the lot of us.
Jimmy: NO RESPONSE GIVEN.

Jazz wasn't crazy. People might argue that burning her childhood home to the ground with her parents still inside would be an indicator of insanity. But how else was she supposed to react after coming back home from college to find out her parents had brutally killed her brother via vivisection?
Dying her hair blonde wasn't crazy either before anyone asked. Plenty of girls dyed their hair when they needed a change. Besides, she could never live with herself if she kept the same hair color as that vile woman.
Admittedly Jazz would have to secede moving to Gotham had been a little crazy but it was the perfect place to start fresh and blend in despite her "quirks". She had even picked out a nice new identity for herself.
Clearly Jazz was not crazy as she had managed to land a job at Arkham Asylum as a psychiatrist. If she were really insane would they have ever hired her? No they wouldn't have.
Jazz was not crazy. She was very much sane. Just like her precious Mr. J.

actually jeff and britta are fucking great together okay. they're both terribly emotionally immature and the definition of toxic. i hate them so much. they base their entire personality on the way others perceive them (britta wants to be seen as good person, jeff wants to be seen as cool) but when push comes to shove they always back each other up. they're both losers and fucking pathetic and they have the two most fragile egos in the whole group. they're absolutely ridiculous, they can never feel compassion or empathy in a natural way and they're actually awful fucking people. i love them so much. i need them to be together forever but in a quarantine sort of situation

The Falling Star
(congrats on the win, Scar!)
Scar is, to me, reminiscent of a falling star. Once among his fellow stars in the night sky, he is now all alone, pulled down by a gravity he cannot resist and taken on a destructive course, against his will. And then, right before impact, maybe he’ll no longer be alone. For those fleeting seconds, the falling star will once again have company, right before he crashes into it and leaves only death and old memories in his wake.
