I don’t have screenshots right now but Soren getting healed of his breathing sickness and paralysis with dark magic rituals that used a wind elk and a baby deer respectively does something to me

Cervidae like deer and elk are commonly associated with strength, resilience, and nobility, but also peace and gentleness across a range of cultures. In certain regions, seeing a dead deer was considered bad luck - and killing one was even worse luck. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with the loss of innocence and how some cultures view deer as sacred messengers?

I know many people associate Soren with dragons (I do too, don’t get me wrong), but there’s something so…human about Soren being represented by a comparatively ‘normal’ creature by TDP standards
