You ever just get stuck by the silliest au idea and then suddenly its consumed your mind?

Anyway TMNT Princess Bride au

Most characters taken from the 2003 series, but personality of turtles might be closer to Rise series

(I wrote this in the notes of my phone so forgive typos and weird thought process lol)

Casey is buttercup. April is westly (Originally, and what inspired this whole thing. Was that karai was buttercup and Chapman was westley lol)

The turtle bros work for stockman (bishop?) Because he says he has he will help them find their father's killer. A man who has 3 scars along his chin.

Casey just a simple farmer (oh my god. The farm house) with April there to help feed chickens and milk cows and such and such (Would she only say as you wish?? Would she be that submissive? Idk. Maybe she would as long as he promised not to call her babe lol) (LMAO HER PHRASE IS DONT CALL ME BABE INSTEAD OF AS YOU WISH LOLOLOL)

Eventually she goes off to maybe get soem schooling or soemthing. But her ship gets [sunk/destroyed] by the Dread Pirate Krang. April doesn't return and after years Casey believes she died.

Then the local royalty happens to pass by and the princess (karai)(who is told needs to find a husband so she can finally become queen) decides to make Casey her groom.

Casey still in a depressive gloom doesnt do much to reject her.

One day when Casey is out on a run (one of his few joys) he gets kidnapped by 4 demihuman turtles . :D

But then. A stranger begins to follow them. A (wo)man in black

I've mostly been going from 03 inspiration of character. But the turtles might be a little more Rise based.

Leo is inigo foil. The master swordsman. And the banter. "You seem a decent fellow, I hate to kill you" "you seem a decent fellow. I hate to die" I am not left handed. He Asks april "ever seen a man with 3 scars along his chin?" "Do you ask everyone that question?

Raph is Fezzik . Big. The muscle. (Kind) Mikey doesnt have a direct foil. May have his own individual fight with april or possibly works with raph. The muscle and taunting words and stuff idk

Stockman is arrogant and thinks hes the smartest around. Accepts April's challenge.

Don is there to keep a hold on Casey. (He plays the game a long in his mind that it doenst actually take any posion). Once stockman is dead, Don just asks for th truth about what happen to the rest of his brothers, April tells him they are just knocked out and will be fine. He says he doenst really care about keeping casey as they were just doing it to work with stockman and well he's dead so no point. Bye crazy smart lady and sad prince to be. And he leaves to meet up with his brothers.

Cue april trying to lead casey away and him being like. Oh you're the pirate that killed the love of my life! Blah blah blah so you can shove it babe!

*falling down hill* doooon't caaaaaall me baaaaaaabe! Oh my sweet april ehat have I done!? *throws self down cliff*

They go through the forest (lmao splinter as rous) (not actually but the image is funny)

And Karai and her advisor Oroku Saki meet them and casey begs her to let april go instead of killing her.

April notes that the advisor has 3 scars a long his chin. That's right. Shredder is what's his face and killed splinter. (Sorry splints. You had to die in this au)

April is taken to Bishop who experiments on his death machine. Just doing his job and having fun with his toys.

BUT

shredder shows up when he learns about the demihumans and asks too many questions about the demi humans shes ever encountered. (Theres a small but decent population in the kingdom) but especially that turtles she encountered last. April doesn't care (she does but more concerned about casey) and asks instead about casey and telling him shes never going to stop.

Karai may or may not visit April… idk. But honestly she doesnt really care about marrying casey but she needs to in order to get the crown.

Anyway its shredder who throws a hissy fit and cranks up the machine "killing" april

Meanwhile the turtles have regrouped but leo is super depressed because he failed and now theh have no lead on their father's killer. Brothers eventually pull him out of it.

They hear aprils cry?? They want "the woman in black" to help them??

Idk they go look for her

("Father guide my sword" is SUCH a thing Leo would do and the humor of it hitting the tree then opening the door is peak tmnt.)

Oh no shes dead

Enter miracle max. I mean the ancient one."she is only MOSTLY dead"

Tang shen: "I'm not a witch! I'm your daughter!" (Maybe. This might change)

They all have to push raph on the cart to break into the castle. Hun is the door keeper lol

Leo goes after shredder. Raph is hauling April around. Ikd what mikey and don are doing exactly. Maybe they split off to look for karai and/or casey

Leo: RAPH!! RAAAAPH. HE'S GETTING AWAY! RAPH

Raph: sighs and puts april down carefully and goes knocks down the door for leo. Comes back to everyone gone. "Now whered everybody go??"

April somehow gets to Casey's room. Casey is thrilled.

Karai shows up… idk. Ask why she really is doing this. Is it what she really wants? Or is it just what shredder has convinced her she needs to do (marry become queen go to war and take over other kingdoms)

Karai seems to consider it (maybe) but still cant have her groom just be carted off. April says okay let's fight then. I've taken on demihimans and been dead and came back, you really want to fight?

Karai considers and concedes. They tie her up so it doesnt look like she just wlt them go.

Karai let's them all leave and ends up marrying one of the chamber men[squire/stable boy/man servant] (is that a real term???) Chapman.

Leo don and mikey all catch up and somehow raph went and found them all horses to ride out on. Happily ever after

Cody is the grandson. Hamato yoshi/splinter is the grandfather

Heathers AU 80’s Pop Culture Interests

Veronica: Loves classical literature, John Hughs movies, and Disney movies. Enjoys an occasional fantasy film like The Princess Bride, Willow and Legend (the Tom Cruise movie where Tim Curry plays the devil btw). can usually be found B Dalton Booksellers at the Sherwood Mall pouring through its collection on the weekend. Developed an interest in Transformers from her friendship with Dan.

Martha: Particularly enjoys cute things. A huge movie fan and a bit of film snob, she loves Princess Bride above all else. Likes Jim Henson projects, Disney, My Little Pony, She-Ra, Peanuts, ALF, Garfield, Heathcliff, and sitcoms like Punky Brewster, Saved By The Bell and Mama’s Family.

Dan: Wears his interests proudly. Transformers, ALF and Disney Ducks, specifically DuckTales, are his top interests. Likes sci-fi and fantasy movies like The Last Starfighter, Wizards, Dragonslayer, The Dark Crystal, The Flight of Dragons, They Live, Enemy Mine, and The Transformers: The Movie. His favorite non Slushee thing is the trading card series Dinosaurs Attack!. Likes The Transformers, with his favorite teams being the Dinobots and Terrorcons. He also likes Soundwave’s two dinosaur cassettes Overkill and Slugfest. Enjoys westerns, schlocky monster/Kaiju movies, RoboCop, the Mad Max series, Escape From New York, The Terminator, Hellraiser, Critters, The Dark Crystal (mostly because of how gnarly the Skeksis look), The Secret of NIHM, Rock & Rule, and shooting games like Operation Wolf and Duck Hunt. Red Heather: Enjoys romance and mystery movies like Cocktail, Dirty Dancing, Body Double, The Bedroom Window and Vision Quest. Looks down on those who still watch cartoons at their age like Dan and Specs, despite she herself liking a good Bugs Bunny cartoon once and awhile. Enjoys teen gossip magazines like Teen Beat, ‘Teen, and Super Teen, but doesn’t read much otherwise.

Green Heather: A closet Muppets, Indiana Jones and Star Wars fan. Particularly likes the Ewok spin off movies, but desperately tries to hide this from the other Heathers. Absolutely hates romance movies like Can’t Buy Me Love, and chafes when Red Heather forces her to watch them for movie night. Has a thing for musicals like The Phantom of the Opera, Starlight Express and Cats.

Gold Heather: Despite her sweet demeanor and appearance, she LOVES horror and slasher movies like Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Child’s Play, Army of Darkness, Creepers, and Fright Night. The bloodier and more chaotic, the better. Red and Green are too disturbed to really judge or comment and just let Gold enjoy herself. She also dabbles in anime because of Specs, owning a Doraemon keychain he gifted her clipped to her purse. When asked by others, she denies knowing what it is and just found it cute in a crude attempt to protect her reputation.

Specs: HUGE Star Wars fan. Had he survived, he would also be a fan of the Prequels and Sequels, mostly happy there’s more movies to enjoy and analyze, despite agreeing the sequels aren’t that great. Big anime fan, enjoying stuff like Space Adventure Cobra, Demon City Shinjuku, Arcadia of My Youth: Endless Orbit SSX, Doraemon, Saint Seiya, Space Warrior Baldos, Robot Carnival, Giant Gorg, Ronin Warriors and Sherlock Hound, but particularly loves Tatsunoko Productions like the various Time Bokan series and Tekkaman.

Kurt: Enjoys stuff like Conan the Barbarian, TMNT, He-Man, Thundercats, Thundarr the Barbarian, Blackstar and Bravestarr, but hides it initially. He-Man is his jam, and is both his “gay awakening” and the reason he started working out and getting into sports. Once admitted to Dan that Prince Adam/He-Man is his idol and who he strived to be, but failed and instead became an Evil Warrior like Two-Bad (in conjunction with Ram). Likes to collect He-Man toys but is often in a disguise when going to places like KB Toys to find them. Similarly likes collecting He-Man and TMNT comics but tries to hide them In between workout and swimsuit magazines. Also reads the gay model magazine Stud Puppy, but isn’t as good at hiding it… Actually got to model for Stud Puppy in his early twenties as part of a personal milestone.

Ram: A big TMNT fan, especially the movies and video games, but initially hides it. Is actually a pretty big gamer when he’s not playing football, and frequents the arcades to play the games albeit in disguise. An expert BurgerTime, Pole Position, Contra, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Donkey Kong player, and is very fond of Mario and The Legend of Zelda. Isn’t particularly great at sports games like ExciteBike and Track & Field ironically. A casual fan of Star Wars, and unsurprisingly his favorite part of Return of the Jedi is the slave Leia stuff. Enjoys testosterone charged movies like Top Gun, The Running Man, Commando, Bloodsport, Big Trouble in Little China and The Warriors.

Betty: Similar tastes to Veronica and Martha. Seems particularly into Care Bears, ironic given her cruelty later on. Likes sitcoms like Family Ties, The Golden Girls and Nightcourt.

Jamie: Shares Dan, Kurt, Ram and Spec’s interests. Big Dungeons & Dragons kid and loves the cartoon. Big movie guy like Martha. Enjoys stuff like V, Quantum Leap, TerraHawks, Poltergeist, Batteries Not Included and Flight of the Navigator.

Thrash: Shares Ram’s interest in testosterone based movies. Big Arnold Schwarzenegger and Slyvester Stallone fan.

Rei, in every version, is a serious and bold person. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have a soft side for the ones she loves, Rei is a force to be reckoned with for her loved ones!

Since 2012 and also in 2018, rei has the same weapon as Leo in 2018, so does however change or does it stay the same.

Rara (Rayan Ruiz) the Hyrian Alien from space.

Rei is the only one to have powers. She has the ability to speak to and connect with souls/spirits.

Who got in the relationship thus in the rise universe?

It was Mikey and Carina, then somewhat Leo and Rei(Situationship), then Raph and Ulima, and Donnie and Rara.

In the rise universe, she's like 4'9-5'0 around that, and in 2012, she's 6'1-6'2.

Rei's father in Rise is actually a villain. Rara is the last of her kind. Carina has parents, but they live on a different planet. Ulima is basically an orphan at this point.

Rei and the girls are aliens from different, that came to earth to do a Secret mission from space in their spaceship that Rara controls, the name is " The Tesha ".

In the rise are Ulima and Carina still sister or....

In the rise, au? No. Only in 2012 Au are they sisters.

In the rise universe , we are the things on the end of Ulima ears.

They are like little antennas but glow different colors depending on her emotions. Im still figuring out what each colour means.

I think Rei would find her very beautiful,but probably not be romantically interested. It is very hard to see Rei with a girl, honestly. And that's okay!

Ulima is actually a very logical first type of person, therefore, she will hide her emotions rather then let them out. Its one of the things that has made her interested in Raph since hes clearly an emotional person, kinda her opposite in some ways. So not really, but shes very tense and doesnt let anyone touch her even on her arms. Shes like "Get Raphael first. Get Raphael first" She does break at one point.

Harper takes Spanish classes at school and flipping loves it! Since Isabella and Finn learn Spanish from their mom, (Rara who is half Puerto Rican)

Not really, Rei also has been teaching the girls how to fight properly. They have a human friend, but thats about it so far.

Before, they were just baby raccoons Rara adopted, but they got mutated by the blast. Now Rara has adopted them as her kids, so by default, Donnie is their adopted father when the two got back together.

Rei has the same DNA species as as the real snowfox or an Arctic Fox, so in the Winter times she's normally a fluffy snow white with some grey areas on the tips of a tail arms legs and ears but one at summertime it's summertime but mostly she stays indoors but if she goes outside her fur gose brown, She was shocked for a while after this but she got used.

Donnie: Rara, what the fU-

Rara:*Insert evil laugh*

Say Donnie and Rara, like the flipping simp she is for her man, will wake up in seconds.

Wait, why can't she sit on his lap?

Well, she technically can - its just her tusks can more likely poke him if she moves a certain way.

Their voices are perfect, but I got one thing that Rei actually blushed if Leo called her princess.

Something to know about Rei- She's stone cold with others, but with Leo, she'll blush like a bride on her wedding day! A fact Leo adores!

Oh, the girls were definitely around by then! Even dating at that point. Rara was the only one who managed to escape, though (the others had to retreat.

Yep! (1- I thought it would be more interesting, 2- I figured all of them couldn't stay in that house. It would be too crowded)

How bad would her break down get?

Terrible, She's very protective, especially towards Donnie, so.....yeah, she ain't gonna be herself for a good bit.

Well, they weren't really rivals(except for Rei and Leo kinda) they just had a small misunderstanding when they met but started working together!

I’m curious: Did Donnie still have a crush on April originally in your au? If yes, did April turn him down, or did he realize his feelings for Rara first?

Yes, Donnie did have a crush on April still. She turned him down and said she'd rather be friends. After a while and moving on, he started realizing he liked Rara(His best friend). She's had feelings for him for a long while, but bever said a thing as to not ruin his chances with April.

So many people have asked me how Rei acts towards Karai, I hope some people remember Karai is Leo's sister in 2012 and I will be treating her as such, Which means her embarrassing the crap outta him when she can like all big sisters do with their brother's gfs.

I like to think she does once she gets comfortable in her role as older sister of the boys.

Jennifer is the girls' human friend! Mainly as Rara's best girl pal, she grew up with the twins and her. She's basically like April and Casey!

I've got to know how the girls, specifically Rei, reacted to going to the farmhouse after kraang-vasion.

Oh, Rei, Ulima, and Carina didn't go to the farmhouse. Only Rara did. The girls stayed back in New York and had a reunion when they came back.

I'd be scared of even attempting to hurt Ulima, Rei, Rara, or Carina because out of the four hamada brothers, Donnie, Mikey, and Raph are the scariest.

I can see that! I think the guys all have moments to be absolutely terrifying. Like-

When Donnie goes no mercy, Raph goes silent deadly, Leo gets louder, and Mikey stops joking.

Mikey and Carina, It was a bit of a surprise since Mikey was the most considered youngest, but he turned out to be an amazing papa for his boy!

I love how this also implies that in your AU at the end of the movie, Donnie and Rara have to deal with their daughter now at the age of 17.

2003 Rara is the biggest sweetheart of all Rara's and freaking LOVE IT.

Imagine Donnie being completely brutal to an enemy for hurting rara, and she just watches a little horrified

So, did they start off as animals who got mutated into humanoids? (I guess I’m used to a rise where if humans are animal-like)

Rei started as a human. The other 3 were all animals before mutation.

Jennifer Hale's voice for Rei has been one of my top headcannons since I started making her cause my god does that woman do a fantastic 'commander'!

Something to know about Rei- She's stone cold with others, but with Leo, she'll blush like a bride on her wedding day! A fact Leo adores!

Those were contiplated, but I heard more big sister/older friend vibes that Rara needed in luisa's voice actor.

Rara and Rei are 17, Rara is younger than a few months, and Ulima and Carina are both 16, too.

I would say it has happened. They, especially Rara and Raph, make bets on which leader wins. It's turning into a tie.

Rei and Leo definitely didn't like each other initially. Raph and Ulima were chill, just working together. Rara only went after Donnie cause he got too close to Ulima in her opinion(the girls thought the turtles were enemies at first)

Hoenstly, Idk. This was mainly to be a one video thing since the aftermath is them escaping but taking a hot minute to actually form an alliance.

In a few versions, they have a human friend named Jennifer Lincoln, a sassy but loyal bestie of usually Rara!

What would reactions be to LFLS AU (like father like son au)

Short version- One of the girls is actually gonna commit a murder on an overgrown goat. Suprise- It's Rei.

Exactly! Especially on his spirit quest! He "unalived" Razar real quick once he got all focused and whatnot

What are the next gens ages in order, like who was born first and who was last?

So-I had it that Rara forced herself to leave cause she needed to take her pain out on something, and she didn't want April to be her immediate target-

Yeah it was a side project I lost motivation for a while back. I felt like I wasn’t really doing anything with it. I felt I was just coping the movie’s script and just replacing the characters names, nothing special and it started to bum me out. I wanted to do more with this AU.

I do wanna work on it again and try to add my on twists to the story to give it its own identity in the future, but for now I’m just trying to focus on my two main TMNT fanfics, along with a oneshot I’m still trying to finish.

Turtles in The Roaring 20s - Raph is a famous jazz singer, Mona is a burlesque dancer from the lower class. Their love is forbidden but they are in a secret relationship.

Mission Failed - 10 or so years after the Turtles failed to save the Earth from the Triceratons, Raph now lives on Salamandria and is married to Mona Lisa. Mona constantly wants Raph to reconnect with his brothers who he hasn’t talked to since they failed their mission, but Raph refuses to listen.

Intergalactic Sisters - April is cockblocking Raph from making a move on her sister, Mona Lisa.

Mazes & Mutants - Raph and Mona Lisa are a barbarian warrior battle couple ready to ruin your day with their chaos. (that or Mona is a pirate instead of a barbarian)

Vampire AU - Raph is a vampire, Mona Lisa is a vampire hunter, hijinx issue.

Turtles In The Roaring 20s - In 1923, Splinter is the proud owner of the most popular underground jazz club in New York, with his four sons being the stars. However there’s family drama going on backstage.

Mission Failed - The Turtles and friends failed their 6 month mission to save the Earth from the Triceratons. 10 years later, the team as split up going their separate ways but are all still haunted by their biggest failure.

Mistress Millennium - I don’t really know if this counts as an AU, it’s just a “what if Renet became a villain?” story.

Salamandrian April AU - April gets captured by the Kraang as a child but it rescued by Sal Commander. To hide her from the Kraang, April grows up on Salamandria along side Mona Lisa where they train together and become like sisters.

Future AU - The Turtles and their friends are now all grown up. Some are married, some have kids of their own and others have successful careers/lives. The story follows their adulthood while also preparing the next generation of the Hamato Clan.

Princess Bride AU - When Kintaro is stuck in bed sick his friend Usagil decides to visit and read him a story about adventure, action, miracles, and true love between a turtle and a lizard.

Actor AU - It’s all a TV show in their world and everyone are just actors. Fun stuff happens behind the scenes when filming TMNT.

Medieval AU - Splinter is the King of the Hamato Kingdom. The Turtles and Miwa are the prince/princess of the kingdom. After Splinter mysteriously dies and Miwa missing, Leo must find a wife and prepare to become king within a year.

Mazes & Mutants - The roleplaying game is now real! A world of fantasy and adventure as the Turtles and friends travel the land, exploring and fighting evil beasts.

Teenage Mutant Monster Turtles - Everyone is a monster (Leo a mummy, Raph a vampire, Mikey a werewolf, Donnie Frankenstein’s Monster etc), hijinx ensue.

Robin Hood AU - Raphael and Slash are the iconic duo of Robin Hood and Little John, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor, rebelling against the wick Sharif, Tiger Claw, and the greedy Prince Newtrailzer.

Human/High School AU - The title is self explanatory. Leo is class president and Mr Popular, Raph is a troublemaking jock, Donnie is a straight A student and tutors his classmates, and Mikey is a class clown.

Princess bride au

My own tmnt iteration au =Youngest leo (and oldest Mikey, but I tend to focus on leo)

Turtleverse - not so much an au as.... a big ol crossover and filling in some gaps from canon

Pacific rim au- I was actually gonna do a tmaynt promt with this au, but I skipped it because it was giving me trouble but I might come back to it

Treasure planet/island au - set in space like treasure planet but I pull in a bit more of the plot/events from the book

brother bear au - setting and details a little iffy

Looking through my notes to double check my Au's, I apparently also had a pokemon au, but I dont really remember where I was going with it lol

And now, Princess and the frog turtle au

Longer descriptions under the cut because uh. It got long lol (most of these are personality and character based from 2003 series, but could also be from other series/general/non specific iteration as well)

Princess bride au and Youngest Leo Au have links to their own posts so I'm not gonna say much more about them on this post

Turtleverse- So this is .... mostly just a place for all the iterations to hang out and meet each other. Kinda like the place in Across the Spiderverse. Theres not much for plot, except. The turtle in charge of everything in the turtle verse is the Donatello who disappeared in Same as it Never Was (2003 series). In this au, that Don was experimenting with alternate dimensions and time travel and accidentally sent himself to another dimension. Because of where ever he was sent, it takes him a while to travel through dimensions and then spends years hopping from universe to universe trying to find home. But because of [science stuff that I'm going to blame on quantum physic even though that's probably not the right term] his body isnt tuned to his home dimension anymore, and so if he ever made it back he wouldnt be able to stay there. And/or by the time he makes it back the events of same as it never was have already happened. So instead, he "maps" out the other turtle universes and allows crossovers to happen and a big ole hang out. (Like I said before, theres not really a Plot, but if there was, itd would probably have somethign to do with Don being A Bit controlling of the different universes and them not messing with Canon Events (like Manuel in Spiderverse), because he knows 03 Don made it to his home dimension, and while 03 Don got his brothers tow work together and defeat shredder, Don's brothers died and SAINW Don holds that against 03 Don and dosnt want other turtles interfering with other universes. So the plot would be addressing... all that while probably also dealing with some other interdimensionalproblem)

Pacific Rim au- like I said, I hope to draw of this and explain it more there. But I'll go ahead and give a run down. This is a human au. The bros are 4 identical brothers that pilot the only four man jaeger. They can also pilot a normal two man jaeger in any combination. But one day when a kaiju that comes out of the rift is more powerful than they expect, it tears into their jaeger and Donnie gets ripped out. After they get their damaged jaeger back to shore and injuries taken care of. They search for Donnie but never find him and (logically) assume he died. What they dont know is that donnie miraculously made it to shore and got picked up by some locals. But Don got a head injury and doesnt remember who he is and no one else realizes that he's the jaeger pilot who was lost at sea. (The bros are fairly private and so their faces arent publicized, and after people from the jaeger program looked for donnie, they really figured he was gone ((okay actually there is debate between the brothers)) so they didnt keep up the search.) As for Donnie, he assumes he's just a person whose home was destroyed by the kaiju and that theres just no one left to look for him. A man that goes by the nickname Leatherhead, takes him in and as the years go by the work on building the wall to protect against kaiju attacks (Don does his own research on the kaiju on the side tho). Anyway. After Don is gone, they cant pilot the 4man jaeger anymore and work in teams of two. But because of disagreements about Don's fate (like how they argued in SAINW) they dont work quite as well together. So Raph and Casey are drift compatible . And Leo and Usagi are Drift compatible. Mikey probably Could drift with others (if I wanted to bring in Mondo gecko into the au theyd be drift compatible), but he's trying to make sure his bros stay together and works with them.

BUT. Mikey hurt his arm during a fight. (Maybe just broken, maybe loses it if I want to lean into the SAINW parallel) So he's benched for a while. With all the gossip of the 4 drift compatible brothers losing a member and getting new drift partners eventually photos of their faces get out there. Someone who works on the wall keeps up with jaeger pilot gossip and thinks, "hey that guy kinda looks like those pilots. Guess the jaeger program really is going to shit if one is retiring to work on the wall" and maybe jokes about it with others. Eventually a rumor starts that theres a retired jaeger pilot working there. Don, who is probably going by a different name but I havent decided what yet, doesnt pay much attention to rumors and if he Does here, absolutely doesn't think it's about him. He doesnt pay much attention to the jaegers and focuses more on the kaiju themselves. Anyway, Mikey ends up hearing the rumor (because he's bored when benched and so goes out and wanders and also is secretly working on rebuilding their 4man jaeger) and goes "well it's not me, and I know it's not Raph or Leo... ". So trying to keep his hope down in case it's not what he thinks, (because really, it's been 5 years. If it was donnie he would have come home. Right?) He goes to see who this look a like is. He goes to where the wall is being built and looks around for a while and is about to call it quits when he bumps into someone. Don does a double take at the person he bumped into because he was looking at his notes instead of where he was walking. Realizes he's probably in the way and apologizes and goes to walk around. Then Mikey, who was so stunned to suddenly run into his brother (who he knows is donnie. Even with the scar he can see peaking out underneath his hair on his temple) who has been Gone for Five Years. He stops Don and questions where he's been. Don is very confused doesnt know what to make of this person who looks such like him. Eventually they put it together that don has lost his memories and Mikey begs Don to come back with him. Don isn't really sure what to think, (could this really be his brother?), he doesn't know this guy and doesnt know if he believes the "yeah I'm your brother and you have 2 more identical brothers as well" and he has been gathering impressive data on the kaiju that he doesnt want to abandon. So mike goes, come see my brothers and you'll see and if nothing else, you can conduct proper research with other scientist there. So don says yes. (But really. After just a minute of talking with mikey, Don would have gone back with him because he could Feel a connection and he Has to figure out the truth of what happened to him). Anyway they go back, Don meets his other missing brothers, theres crying and hugs and apologies and awkwardness. They do a drift at some point and Thats what brings back all of Don's memories. Something something they end up saving the day. I havent thought much plot past the bros reuniting lol

Treasure planet/island au- setting is in space like Treasureplanet, so the boys are turtles. But some plot/events and character roles taken from the book. Splinter and the bros help run an inn. Theyve all grown up hearing stories of the Pirate Krang and his hidden treasure. Someone comes to the inn with a map (I'm thinking baxter stockman. Possibly in this weird brain/tentacle form since this is space and I can use his weirder forms) and other pirates pancake the inn and burn it down with the bros barely escaping with the map. Casey is a friend of the family and they go to his house. Leatherhead is a doctor/scientist and was with the turtles at the time. Mikey and/or Don are messing with the map and are the ones to figure out how to open it. Once they realize they have Krang's Treasure Map, they set out to find it. Casey and leatherhead hire the crew. Leatherhead hires the well renown Captain April O'Neil with firstmate Traximus the triceraton. Casey hired the cook and his daughter who helped hire the rest of the crew. Oroku Saki is an utrom in an exo-suit "with a passion for cooking". His adopted daughter Karai is an excellent sailor. :) Anyway they set sail. April knows soemthign is up with the crew and doesnt trust them one bit. The turtles are slightly suspicious of Saki, but mikey likes cooking with him, Don is fascinated by his exo-suit, and Leo likes training with Karai, and is charmed by Saki's "Honor". Raph doesnt trust them at all, but has no proof for anything and his brothers seem okay with them so he keeps his temper down (as much as he can. He's raph tho lol) anyway. Leo (and mikey maybe?) eventually overhear Shredders real plans to create a mutant and take over the ship. The rest of the events are a little unplanned because it's a mix of book events and movie events and I didnt write down everything that I apparently originally thought of. But two of the brothers (originally wrote down Mikey and Raph but that might change) sneak off the ship to join the pirates pretending to think that they are still good loyal crew. They get away from the pirates and meet The Fugitoid, Professor Hunnicut, former navigator for the Pirate Captain Krang. Later 2 of the other turtle brothers (maybe leo and don?) Are trying to get the main ship back and have a epic fight with ... someone. Maybe hun or bishop and/or Karai. Idk. Like I said. Iffy plot points. Karai is the one who has a change of heart and helps the brothers. Also the pirates may not be after treasure so much as, say, a giant portal that can take them across the galaxy in the blink of an eye. Fugitoid may or may not have actually been the one to booby trap the planet so no one could use the technology again for evil.

Brother bear au- setting would probably change. but idk to what/where exactly. The brothers, when reach a certain age are given totems/amulets/soemthing(depends on setting) with a certain trait. Leo the oldest gets Guidance. Don second oldest gets Wisdom. And raph is supposed to get his. he gets Love. Gets mad about the animal he gets. (I havent fully decided if I'm sticking with the whole turning into a Bear thing and giving the eagle and wolf to leo and don. Or to turn raph into a turtle demon(like the ones from the ninja tribunal arc) because then I'm not sure what animal/creature to give to the rest of the brothers. Anyway). Mikey is the youngest and hasnt recieved his yet. things happen, Raph goes a bear/turtle monster and Leo does saving his brothers (I'm sorry leo 😭). Raph decides to go after the "monster" again, despite Don and mikey telling him not to. Raph goes out, kills it, and gets turned into said creature. Donnie who had followed after Rpah thinks his other brother has now died as well and decides he need to go after it as well. Mikey may or may not join him (I havent decided). Raph meets a young one along the way, and while I was originally thinking Tyler(? From lone raph and cub 2003) I think this would be a good spot for Spike/Slash. (I could also change it that mikey is the kid he picks up along the way, it could work. but I also like the idea of the 4 of them actually being brothers the whole time) anyway. travel shenanigans and raph realizing that the "monsters" arent monsters meanwhile Don is having A Time following the creature who killed two of his brothers.

Pokemon au- I'm just gonna screenshot what I have in my notes because I dont really remember where I was going with it lol

And then the newest addition to the Au's and what prompted that other post

Princess and the frog, I mean turtle- theres so many different ways I could go with this. But I think I'm leaning towards an au where, somehow, at least one of the brothers (who are mutant turtles) gets cursed into a normal turtle (because I think its funny). They're all trying to figure out how to break the spell/curse. They find April and think she is a princess whose kiss will break the spell, but she's not a real princess and ends up cursed too. So then they're ALL trying to figure out how to fix it. Havent decided if it's the situation from some of the original stories where the frog has to eat off the princess's plate three times, or kissed by a princess or "true loves kiss". But if it is the true loves kiss, I'm going the Platonic Love is just as true love as romantic love route.

This one hasnt been cooking in my mind as long so it's not as detailed, but I do like the idea of the turtles and april helping each other try to reverse the curse. (It could also be that casey and/or april got cursed originally and the turtles are there to help them find a solution. Or it could be that the brothers are supposed to be human and got turned into turtles/or turtle mutant)
