Back at it again on my 3d modeling shit

I wanted to try something a little more complex with the shapes I use in my model; and who better than to do that with than Astro....

He's likely not proportionate to my other toon models, but I plan to remake them once I've improved anyway.

He's not completely done; I'd like to add some stuff extra to his model to give him more expressions, and a blanket he can swap between.

Figured some of y'all could use a good reference pic/coloring base for your seikret ideas.

So I pulled the actual seikret 3d model into Blender, posed it as close to their actual neutral pose as I could (I left the wings looser than they carry them in game since this was intended to show them clearly) and rendered out a few views.

No texture import yet, so it's just the raw model, thus no transparency on feathers and such. I'll likely make new renders once textures are up and running.

I tried to make the lighting neutral so it could be colored over easily but still show the anatomy and shape well.

If you need a higher res or another view, lmk, I'll see what I can do.

Want to build your own Piano Coat Rack?

I put together some plans for the Piano Coat Rack so that if anyone else wants to try to make one they have a starting point. I ended up putting them on itch.io for free since tumblr doesn't really like PDFs or zip files. The plans are free for non-commercial use. I also have a section describing some of the process to hopefully make it fairly easy to replicate.

I put these plans together in FreeCad, so along with a PDF version of the technical drawings there are also full 3D models that you can use to get a better understanding of how it goes together. If you notice any oddities or mistakes or have any question please just me up!
