Whelp, Casey Bloys stepped in it again by posting an article by The Wrap about how True Detective was the most watched season on max. As you can imagine, a good chunk of the crew started calling BS on that, what with the Parrot Analytics stats from yesterday. And in case you needed to see some more data that Bloys was full of crap--- Thank you to our dear friend @quirkysubject for pulling in Rotten Tomatoes Average Tomato-meter Ranking in with the Parrot Analytics Data in this awesome chart!

Not terribly long after, apparently the comments on The Wrap article really started to irritate ol Casey boy because he turned off comments on the post.

Hey there lovelies!! Guess what time it is? I've had too much caffeine and I've taken my adhd meds on time so I'm Here, Queer, and ready to Cheer!

Look at everything you all did today! Do you see this list? And that's just a minuscule coverage of the pure polite chaos that ensued! I literally cannot add any more pictures because just so much has happened. We are 36 days in the Gravy Basket and you all are just ramping things up!

The tenacity, and creativity of this crew never ceases to amaze me!

There are more fundraisers in the works... (I'll post more when I know more) there's a slew of events, watch parties, and pure camaraderie everywhere! Everyone's making amazing memes, and artwork and fics! Seriously, you all should be proud of yourselves!

Not to mention, some of the most important things of all-- I am seeing SO MUCH SELF CARE. You are reaching out to the crew for support, you're taking days off, you're having fun and being creative for you... getting back to pet projects and doing things you enjoy!

You all are doing SO WELL. You are kicking ass, don't forget that! We'll have our down days, but no matter what you are making waves all over the place, bringing positive things to this world! As a side note, I wanted to mention, I know tomorrow can be a tough day for a lot of people. It can be lonely, or bring up good or bad memories. Please be sure to reach out to your crew for love if you're struggling. We love you, and even if it's a platonic love, it's overflowing here for you. You are wonderful, and we want to send you all the love we can.

Meta: Fee's ghost friends.

Fee lives with two ghosts who she affectionately refers to as “One” and “Two” because she has no idea what their names are.      Now, her ability to communicate with the dead includes being able to speak to and hear them,     but it tends to vary depending on who it is she’s dealing with, and how much language they’ve held onto in death.       Some ghosts are able to communicate very clearly, to the point where she actually finds it very difficult to differentiate between ‘ghost’ and ‘actual living person’.  Others are completely unable to communicate for whatever reason, and all they can do is show themselves to her and trash her apartment. 

So as far as friendships go ? ?? it’s not exactly normal, and it’s mostly fairly one-sided. It’d be easy to say ‘these ghosts must hate her because all they do is break things and mess with the television and lights and windows’ but actually ??    it’s very much all they can do to be able to communicate with her. And there have been instances where they’ve demonstrated an almost sibling-like quality of protectiveness over her.  They keep her apartment safe as much as any alarm system or warding she could use.   And for all she complains???    she would be pretty devastated if they moved on.

7. What’s the last thing you read that made you cry?

Oh gosh...! It’s been so long that I couldn’t even tell you. If we count otome and light tears (like just wet eyes) Saizo, Yukimura and Makoto Act/Season 2′s !! All have really tearful moments. 

12. Friends with benefits or secret dating?

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS. Give me the two characters who are hell-bent on not catching feels, and when they do they don’t want to reveal it to themselves let alone the other person. BIG FAV. So much more conflict there.

19. What’s your favorite character headcanon?

There are so many good ones idk if I can choose!! But I really think Saizo would be an amazing dad even if he’d be kind of a troll to his kids lol. I imagine them wanting dango just because dad loves it. But Saizo will eat dango in front of them and not share because “Nope. You’ll spoil your dinner” and he’ll just smirk while eating them in front of the kids and make them ninja chase him all around as they try to grab some from the plate. Just constantly jumping or moving it out of their reach like “too slow...*sigh*” but eventually he shares and tells them to keep it a secret from their mom.

It was really fun to make this and like you said, the hijab option made me sooo happy! Though the skin tone might be a bit off for me too, this one was the closest match (I got them east indian genes along with all the tan-ness that comes rom living near the Equator)

The first time she dyed her hair, she was fifteen.      It was a few months after Alfie was born and her mum died in childbirth.      Fee looks A LOT like her mum;    it’s impossible not to notice all the similarities when you compare photographs of the two of them.

They have the same eyes, the same features.  And, before Fee started dyeing her hair, the same colour hair too. That’s why she dyed it that FIRST TIME.  She was hurting, grieving, and she felt unable to express that to her dad, who was still mourning too.      Alfie was just a baby; he didn’t understand. Fee couldn’t stand looking in the mirror and being so heavily reminded, and though her dad never said anything,  she imagined it must have hurt him just as much.  

So she cut her hair short and dyed it bubblegum pink, and she’s never looked back since.   And really, it never worked out the way she HOPED it would. She still looks like her mum,  and she still sees that when she looks in the mirror.     However, as time passed, it started to offer more comfort than hurt.     Dyeing her hair was no longer a means of trying to escape the past, but an expression of who she was and is and wants to be. ♥
