❝ I really didn't know my dad like I thought I did. ❞ Yeah, so it was family talk time, and Arven really did need to get some things off his chest. ❝ He's the one who started to get me into cooking. Mom was awful at it, everything was always undercooked or charred to a crisp. Dad didn't have that problem, so I guess I got my knack for cooking from him. But he didn't teach me very much of it ... ❞
❝ He had that time machine and he was using it to travel back and forth from the present to the future. I didn't know what he was up to ... or what that AI of his was up to until ... a few months ago. ❞ A lot had changed in a very short period of time, hadn't it?
❝ I lived in the Great Crater as a kid, in Area Zero. 100 years in the future, it's actually a city of its own... but the people had died and the pokemon were rampaging, so dad built this ... it looked like a tuning fork. It probably was one, but it helped those future pokemon... I saw the city. Zero City ... and it was ... ❞
❝ Dad was a hero there. That's where his AI went before the time machine shut off. It died there. That flash drive I have next to my mom's urn? Yeah, that's got footage of dad's AI fighting something called ARCHEUS. But that future won't happen anymore. I'll make sure of it. ❞ It weighs heavy, the entire ordeal, but he feels better knowing the truth about his dad.
❝ He ... wasn't the world's best dad for sure, but there's no doubt he wanted to do the right thing. For me, for mom, and for the future. I want to keep that dream of his alive. ❞
hi! i just stumbled upon your blog, and after reading some of your fancomics, i only wanted to compliment you on the quality of, well, kinda everything about them, but especially the characterisation!
as a lifelong Disney comic reader, i'm a huge magica fan, but i always felt like she was very underused, and the same goes for gladstone too. i always found his concept very interesting, but at least in my experience comic writers never go farther than making him an antagonist for donald. i LOVE how you gave both of them more depth, both on their own and as a dynamic! i also really enjoy how all of your comics show continuity, as unfortunately that isn't something that can be often achieved in average Disney comics but that i really wish could be a thing
i also really really LOVE your style! it's very expressive and very pleasant to look at, and i think it goes really well with your stories too! i especially love how you draw expressions and poses, i'm sure you'd also make a great animator!
and uhhh... yeah, that's pretty much all that i can say lol- I'm looking forward to seeing your next works! keep the great stuff up!
backed into a corner w no choice is the perfect way to put it. it's messed up how we literally cannot continue but force orselves. some people would call this strength but for me it's the opposite. i wish we were free
yeah like honestly at this point i'm not resilient or strong i simply dont have a choice in any of it!!!!!!!!!!!! that's not admirable that's being trapped!!!!!!!!!!
wow i cant wait for yukaeso relations can you? i rlly hope the outfits are cool or cute and the trained and untrained cards look beautiful (<- in denial phase)
Hi Machine Gun Poem Doll is Piko's theme I will elaborate- “Machine gun poem doll sings” both dolls and older vocaloid modules share similar qualities (ball joints, inorganic materials, ect). “My crushed emotions” he had to do repression and shit so it's both emotions being smothered and them eventually smothering him after they become unrepressed. (1/? Definitely going to skip a few lines because ask limit is 5 per hour and it's 10pm) -🌟
i do think this is a really interesting interpretation of this song (and/or ig making it fit w/ piko) in taking those lyrics to represent literal machiery and stuff like that?
but again god this is sad asf what the heck 😭 save usb boy tf
